We had our wedding at Margaritaville Beach house in July of 2024 and had a great experience. Erika and her team helped us every step of the way. From the moment we landed in the Key West airport we had convenient access to an airport shuttle ride. We were guided through the whole process of our wedding with the help of Erika as she walked us through the locations, connected us with the other vendors and answered all our questions. On the day of the wedding, Erika and her team (Pablo, Bri, Nancy, Sam and Edgar) were really good at setting up all the decorations and taking care of everything without having to ask me too many questions on the big day. Throughout the trip we were made to feel like VIPs and were given complimentary meals and gifts. The catering team did an amazing job not only setting up the food on the day of the wedding but also helped us distribute sandwiches to our guests the day after. They truly went above and beyond. My only advice for booking this venue is that the shuttle at the hotel sometimes leaves early so if you don’t want to miss the shuttle, you should be ready to leave 10 minutes before the shuttle is scheduled to be there. Also, the event coordinator position changed 3 times throughout the process of planning the wedding (about a year) which made us nervous. However, the new coordinator, Erika, did a great job at supporting us in the months leading up to the wedding. This is a great venue for a laid back, more intimate, destination wedding.

We went to get married!!! Our experience was top notch. From the moment we came in Erika, Pablo, Brie and Angie were welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire stay. Pablo was very inviting with a smile professional informative ready to tackle the day and bri the employee with many hats absolutely a doll was very professional informative and friendly. They both very involved with myself the mother of the groom and family and friends. I never had to go far to look for them always at arm reach. There's was two other gentlemen that took care of the Bridal suite. I did not get to catch thier name but they also deserve to be recognized for the outstanding service they provide. I believe one of them was the chef he made us a fruit platter! Angie thank you for replying back to my concern regarding booking my rm.

Erika and her team (Bri, Nancy and Edgar) at Margaritaville Beach House gave us the perfect wedding experience. From planning to execution, every details was attended too. Erika, worked with us to plan exactly what we wanted for our marriage ceremony, reception and dinner. She even recommended additional vendors for extras. We chose a steel drummer which was perfect.
The ceremony on the beach was lovely and went smoothly. We had plenty of ocean-side pictures afterwards. The reception was nice. Hors d'oeuvres came out at a steady pace and were delicious. The bartender was great and there was almost no wait for service. Dinner and cocktails in the tiki hut were a great finish to the day. The food and service was excellent. We ate and danced the night away to great music.
It is also a small but beauty resort. A perfect get away and a great place for a wedding experience.
My wife, myself and all of our guests had a great time. We got tons of compliments on the event.

What an amazing experience having our wedding at Margaritaville Beach House. Our event manager Erika and her team Bri, Samantha, Gemma, Nancy and Edgar answered all our questions and they all helped us make our wedding day so special. The communication was excellent throughout the process of planning our wedding. We felt confident that everything would be as we wanted. If you are thinking about having a destination wedding in key west we highly recommend Erika and her team at Margaritaville Beach House.
Erika was sweet, quick to respond, checked in with me! She made the night easy, comfortable, organized, and even delivered my cake to my room to say goodnight for the evening! Margaritaville was stunning and we had a sight unseen wedding and were over the moon with how it turned out!
Margaritaville beach house was amazing! We worked with Val and Ericka who both were great! They were responsive and really went out of their way to make our wedding weekend the best weekend ever. The F&B director and team were also very helpful. All of our guests stayed at the hotel and had nothing but great things to say about the staff and hotel as well which is always nice to hear.
Our ceremony ended earlier than expected and they were even able to start our cocktail hour early bringing everything out right away. Overall couldn't recommend this place enough!!
The professionalism at Margaritaville was outstanding. Umberto, Camille, Christina, Pablo and Lemilie were there to help me with all of my wedding needs. They deserve all the praise because they were an 5 star team.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️and his team did any and everything that I could possibly do to make sure that I had a beautiful wedding. They were there to help my friends and family with their rooms and excursions. They also made sure that my guest knew where they were supposed to be . We coordinated our wedding dinner with Umberto Poma (the Catering and Events Manager). He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. At the last minute we asked if we could move the dinner inside, instead of on the outdoor patio. Umberto made it happen! Earlier that day, we had a server named Camille. We absolutely loved her, so much that we asked if she could be our server for the wedding dinner. She agreed and we had the best dinner ever. Camille even helped to set up the table, which was beautiful. I can’t say enough about the Margaritaville Beach House and we highly recommend it.
I had planned the majority of the details of ours or- key brunch wedding at Barbary. A few weeks prior to our wedding, I was notified by the catering manager that my POC was no longer working that position and he introduced me to Brittany. She seemed disorganized at times, saying she was working from home or busy with other weddings when I tried to contact her to go through the details and finalize the catering several times. She didn’t finalize our catering order until a few days before our wedding. The day before, we met with Brittany to go over the details and she offered to bring a box that looked like the Southernmost Point marker that could hold our cards (she dropped the ball and that was never provided so our guests were just handing us our cards and we had to put them at our table).
When we arrived on our wedding day, it was appreciated that they gave me a room to hang out in before I walked down the aisle, however that’s really where the fine details stopped. In a random event, she sprained her ankle right before I was to walk down the aisle- totally unfortunate- but she called my room and told me about her injury and said- “it’s time for you to walk down the aisle, just walk out your door and take a left and another left”. I told her I wasn’t comfortable with that so she sent someone to walk with me to the location (I was never showed in person where I was going in relation to the room they put me in).
As I walked to the ceremony, I felt rushed to walk down the aisle, so much that my music had to be awkwardly chopped off in the opening ballad.
I had donuts from an outside vendor brought in to arrange a tiered-stack to look like a wedding cake. When I saw the set up- the donuts were nowhere near the food. I had to get my husband to move the table so people could see that they were there.
The bartenders didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing, either.
Then, a couple days after our wedding, when we got the final bill, they tried to charge us over $3,000 for mimosas, bloody Mary’s and beer. Everything else was cash bar. We he 46 guests and were at the venue for 2.5 hours, beginning at 11 AM. We polled our guests to see if our estimates were just so far out of wack and everyone said they didn’t drink much, maybe 2-4 drinks and some guests didn’t drink anything at all. We didn’t purchase a bar package but paid by the drink- the catering manager who we originally worked with was supposed to let us know when we got close to $400 but that detail was not carried out in our contract or on the day of our wedding. We eventually convinced Brittany to work with us and she ended up charging us around $1500 - which would have been a package price.
Ultimately, my vision of how everything would go was not met. We had a relaxed wedding in mind and we just felt like they couldn’t deliver.
Barbary beach house was the perfect place to host our big day! Jackie Herndon was a God send. Communication throughout the whole process was superb and the execution of the reception was beyond words! Everything went so smoothly. It was truly the best night of our lives!

Worked with Jackie for a visit to the Barbary. She was awesome with communication via email. This was our first pick of venues on our list. We traveled to the Keys from Michigan for a long weekend. We showed up for our appt to find out that Jackie was out sick. There was not any communication with her staff that we were arriving or to educate anyone on questions engaged couples would have. A guy named Reed gave us a site tour. He was very nice but had zero knowledge of wedding information. This resort is turning into a Margaritaville in the new year we were informed too. Disappointed in the huge break down of communication. We felt that if we were to proceed with this venue, this is how our day would start. I would not waste any of your time visiting. (Coming from a super relaxed bride too.)

We had the most amazing experience from start to finish with Barbary Beach House and our destination wedding weekend! Our guests loved the grounds and the resort amenities. Jackie Herndon was beyond belief helpful when it came to wedding planning and event coordinating. She superseded our expectations and I truly felt like a Queen. The staff ensured our stay was more than perfect! Jackie was informative, communicative and eased our mind about our big days festivities. We utilized their wedding package and had THE BEST food; Chef Ed is literally THE MAN! A week later and our guests are still sending us compliments on everything! A few special shout outs to some phenomenal bartenders and staff: Batu, Ilija, Valentina, Emily, Anita, and of course Jackie! Everyone made our weekend so special and the details we perfect. Trust me - if you’re on the fence, just give this place a chance. We had a two year engagement, almost our entire first year we spent coordinating a wedding for Kauai. Covid wouldn’t allow it, planning became impossible, so we contacted Barbary Beach House when we changed our destination location to Key West, and never looked back, nor regretted our decision AT ALL. AWFUL! Did not pick this venue for our wedding. Took a vacation to the keys to look at venues for our wedding in 2022. Took several site tours while we were down there, and this one was by far the WORST! Beautiful place (don't get me wrong)! I was very impressed when we first walked in (thought this might of actually been the one). However, as soon as we were greeted by Jackie it all went downhill. The tour lasted maybe 15 minutes. I had my parents join us to get other opinions, she did not introduce herself or even ask for our names. From my understanding, her job is to sell the site. She did not do this at all!! Her attitude made it seem as if she did not care if we had our wedding there or not. She was not knowledgeable about anything, had to keep going back to the paperwork she gave me to answer our questions. This type of management is not something I would want to deal with on my wedding day.. Was left speechless at how horrible our experience was at this venue. SO unprofessional. Beware!

This was a great venue across from Smathers Beach. They were very accommodating to my requests and all the guests had a great time at the wedding. The grounds are lovely and everyone enjoyed the pool before and after. I didn't have to worry about anything once it was wedding time, everyone did what they needed to do and it went off without a hitch!

Sheraton Suites was good to work with for our ceremony and reception. They work with a local company that supplies ceremony décor and some flowers. The hotel staff did an alright job setting up our reception, however, some of the decorations that we had given them were not included on the tables. On better note, the food service manager who was in charge of making sure our buffet and cake were served well did a spectacular job. I wish I remembered her name, but she made me feel so confident in her. She was the absolute best.
Lastly, if you choose this venue, please keep on top of your receipts and invoices. We had issues with final balances, being told we owed more after paying what we were told was our final balance. Also, the morning after when my new husband and I went to check out, we were told that we had been charged AGAIN for the room.
Overall, good place to get married and great staff. But please pay attention to your invoices and save your receipts, the Sheraton made quite a few statement errors.

I had a few rooms for my wedding guest and I also got dressed there. Beautiful hotel right across the street Smather's Beach which is where my ceremony was. There are nice amenities and great staff. The rooms were very clean and nice. I especially like the bathroom.

I got married at the Sheraton Suites Key West on 2/3/18 and it was simply magical. Everything I could have ever dreamt of my entire life was a reality thanks to everyone who put my dream wedding together. A special thank you to Emily because she truly was amazing, from beginning to end. While we spoke thru email prior to my big day and upon arriving to the Sheraton, Emily was absolutely fantastic. The hotel staff was so accommodating and I loved my ocean view suite. The hors d'ouevres, dinner, desserts were great. My entire family loved every second of my wedding. My husband and I are planning of spending our 1 year anniversary next year at the Sheraton. Thank you again! I was a very, very happy bride!

We had our wedding at the Sheraton Suites Key West. My husband and I love Key West and couldn’t have made a better choice in picking this venue. They have an excellent wedding package. Their wedding coordinator is Emily and she was in one word—Perfect! She was so helpful and she help ease my stress at the last week before the wedding. I brought over so much decorations and I emailed her the details. We went over it the day prior to the wedding to make sure everything is perfect. She worked with my other vendors to create a romantic reception space at the terrace that is Pinterest worthy. I gave her a copy of the timeline so all the bridal party and vendors were on track. We never had a delay! Things went so smoothly. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff! Jason our bartender was super friendly and professional. Our guests could not stop raving about his mixed drinks. Our guests loved the food(we opted for buffet). My mother in law is a vegetarian and she LOVED the vegetarian meal they cooked for her. She said it was well seasoned and delicious and the best she has had! She has been to her other weddings and their vegetarian meals there leaves nothing to rave about. The rest of the staff was super efficient and friendly per my wedding guests experience. The hotel itself has its Key West charm and the guests loved it there. My husband and I cannot thank the staff and Emily enough for helping us with our wedding. It was so beautiful. Wish I could relive it again! Our wedding guests were raving that our wedding was one of the best they have ever been to! 👏👏

I booked my May 2017 wedding at the Sheraton Suites in June of 2016. I live in NY and have never been to Key West but because we had a small wedding I was hoping for the best and was not disappointed. Melissa at the Sheraton helped to coordinate everything and from the very beginning her responsiveness and ability to answer every single question I had was nothing less than awesome. I admit, I was a bit of a pain in the neck the closer we got but Melissa assured me that it would work out and it was more than I expected. She was very quick to answer emails and phone calls and helped to put together an amazing day for my husband and our guests. We hosted our guests over 2 nights (welcome dinner and reception) and both events went off without a hitch. She was onsite during both events and made sure that everyone had what they needed and was happy. And can we talk about the food??? The food was AMAZING!!! We had the mahi-mahi for the welcome dinner and the crab cakes and prime rib and lobster for the reception dinner. We also had the cheeseburger minis and chicken cornucopia for appetizers and I saw that most of our guests had cleaned their plates. I haven't been to a wedding where the food was this good. Also our room was clean and pretty large for a suite. It is literally steps away from the beach and far enough from downtown that you can easily get to both for a night out without getting wrapped up in the craziness of Duval Street. My husband and I are already talking about going back for a quick weekend next month. That's how awesome everything was. I HIGHLY recommend the Sheraton to all brides for your wedding. You will not be disappointed!!!
We had our wedding at the Sheraton in May of 2017. I had an unbelievable experience for a destination wedding. Melissa and her team was great at communicating and was very helpful with everything leading up to the big day. The Sheraton offers nice inclusive packages for the ceremony and reception which seemed cost effective for me. They handled all the set up and clean up. We brought in our own wedding favors which the staff set up. And the food was phenomenal! We did the Italian buffet and it was delicious!!! Thank you Sheraton and Melissa for making our day extra perfect!

We were looking for a place that we could stay, have the ceremony, reception, everything in one place! This is the place! The price was right and the staff was incredible! We ended up checking in a day earlier and staying a day later than planned! All of our guests had a wonderful time. We chose to have our wedding ceremony and reception through the Sheraton Suites as a destination wedding. The entire planning of the event was handled beautifully by Melissa--she was very prompt, detailed, and pleasant in her emails back and forth! Setting up for the special day, she really had it all together, and the staff had all of the reception space set up in plenty of time to receive our guests and feed them well! The food was great, got lots of compliments, and everyone had a wonderful time. The only snag was dealing with confusion of balances due for the guest rooms themselves, which was rectified by referencing our original invoices and credit card statements (personally, I would suggest you keep track of all statements anyway just to be sure of any discrepancies from any vendor). This is the only reason why the Sheraton is not getting 5 stars, as this issue took a couple of days to fix.

We recently had our wedding reception at this hotel and we can't say enough excellent things! First of, the Sharaton Suites has one of the BEST locations if you want to have your beach wedding ceremony and reception around the same area. Smather’s beach is located just across the street to this hotel that made it very convenient for our guests and us. Then there’s Kasey Harris. She is the hotel’s Events Manager who made it all possible. She is extremely professional and very good at what she does. Approachable, flexible, quick to respond to queries and was very helpful from the very first day we spoke to her until the day of our wedding. She made sure we had everything we needed. And then there’s the Chef and the staff. Food served was amazingly delicious!
- from cocktail hour to reception dinner, everyone who came LOVED how the food tasted that they still talk about it up to this day. Wait staff/Service attendants were very friendly, accommodating and efficient. Ultimately, we all had a grand time. Overall, the Sheraton is a fine place to have a wedding. It’s a beautiful hotel, the staff takes weddings seriously and all the food served is quite delicious. The wedding packages are very affordable. However, there were some flaws with our experience. First, my maid of honor and her boyfriend checked into a room covered in ants. The Sheraton quickly changed the room (to one with a clogged shower drain, by the way), but what a bad first impression. Second, the air conditioning in every single room is weak. We saw one air vent in our room. Had the fan on high and the thermostat on 65 and we were sweltering. My guests reported the same in their rooms. Third, we had a nasty experience with a bartender the first night we were there. We wanted to treat our guests to drinks using a couple pre-paid gift cards. The bartender had to get her manager for help, and then snapped at us, claiming we didn’t leave a tip. We did, of course, tip her, she just had no idea what she was doing. Fourth, we were told our wedding reception would be held in the terrace loverlooking the pool. Without explanation, it was in a courtyard with no view of the pool. And, of course, we didn’t get any money back. Fifth, we were told we would be upgraded to the best suite available on our wedding night. Again, that did not happen and we got no explanation/discussion. Despite these flaws, we look back on our wedding fondly. We had a great time, and so did our guests. I would recommend the Sheraton, but also warn that it is not perfect.

ur entire stay, as well as a complimentary amenity and champagne on your wedding night. The courtyard is a beautiful event space, and a choice was given to you and your fiancé during the event walk through which event space you would like. In no way did we force you to move your event to the courtyard. An event order and event check were signed with the event space listed. Complimentary string lighting was also provided and the candlelit ambiance was quite beautiful. Nothing was said to the event manager or the staff about the venue during your stay. We do hope you enjoyed your wedding day and wish you and your husband the very best as you start your married life together.
Kasey and her wonderful staff at the Sheraton in Key West made our day wonderful. From the beginning, she made us feel relaxed while planning a wedding from home in PA. She is very responsive to emails and phone calls and genuinely cares for the way you imagine your day to flow. We had originally planned for a played dinner but opted for buffet/stations due to timing of a plated dinner. With 3 weeks to go, Kasey accommodated us in every way possible. We were able to use our plated menu for our new buffet/station style reception. She also helped work with our photographer to set up the perfect timeline for the day of. I give Kasey a 10/10 for event coordinator! The hotel is one of the cleanest I have ever been in. Very modern and beach style. Top notch for a beach wedding. Especially with the beach right across the street! The Sheraton staff is so personable and friendly it makes me want to go back! Our chef (Michael I believe his name was), was the best! Being from Philly only made our whole group like him more! Our bartender was also wonderful! Super fast and the drinks were very creative! And last but not least, the FOOD! I cannot even put into words how delicious the food is here. If you plan on having a wedding here, you will NOT be disappointed. Our menu was: spanikopita and chicken cornucopia for butler passed hor dorvoures. AMAZING! I never thought in a million years would I pick those as my apps and not just myself but every single person loved them! People who don't even eat hor dorvoures ate them! Next, since we switched to buffet/stations from plated and were able to keep our same menu, our app ended up being served during dinner: Crab cakes. They were the perfect size for an app and were very good! Everyone was raving about them! Now the the best part: Dinner. Prime Rib (chef carving station), Key West (LARGE) shrimp, rice pilaf (yummiest rice I have EVER eaten), veggies (guests were going up for seconds for VEGGIES!). Lets talk about this prime rib because it needs to be talked about. Melt in your mouth, the BEST piece of meat I have EVER had. I'm taking in comparison to filets or any other kind of expensive meat. This was cut per person by chef Michael. Hands down best cut of beef I have ever had. The shrunk were enormous and tasted delicious. Cooked to perfection. 2 on little wooden skewers and everyone was going up for seconds on not just the prime rib and veggies, but the shrimp as well. The salad was displayed very nice with tomatoes, olives, and I believe peppers on the side to add. Very pretty! At our reception, I had AT LEAST 10 guests come up to me and tell me that this was by far, the best dinner at a wedding they had! I am so happy we opted for the buffet/station style instead because I feel like we definitely got our money's worth with all the food that was accessible to us. I saw a ton of guests going up for extra! We had our reception on their deck (Coral Crab Terrace). It not 100% private since its outside but the way it is set up, you would never even know there were people around! We had about 55 guests and it got us perfectly! Tons of room for dinner tables and the dance floor is a great space! enough room for buffet tables, DJ, bar, AND dance floor! We also had our cocktail in the courtyard. It is beautiful! It's blocked off so guests cannot walk through, and it's nice that it's in a separate location from the ceremony. If you plan on having your wedding at the Sheraton, you will NOT be disappointed!
We had a small intimate destination beach wedding at Sheraton Key West and it was everything we imagined it to be and more.
We, along with our guests, stayed at the resort, had our ceremony on the beach right across the street, and had our reception in the courtyard.
In one word (as cliche as it may sound), it was - AMAZING!
Kasey and the guys that took care of us at the reception did an outstanding job! They seemed very sincere in their service and made us feel like we were their only priority. From the planning to the execution of the event everything turned out awesome.
Being a little "too hands on" sometimes I was concerned that my 'vision' wouldn't be fulfilled, but I was impressed. Everything was great and to this day I (along with everyone in attendance) keep saying, "the day couldn't have gone any better".
The food was excellent, the service was over the top, and the stay was nice too.
I truly have no complaints and would recommend Sheraton Key West to anyone.
