Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort

Margaritaville was an absolutely amazing choice to have our wedding. Our wedding was postponed 2 years due to the pandemic and Margaritaville was flexible and communicative with us throughout the entire time, including undergoing different management. Jamie and her team were incredible. We hosted a rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch all on site in different places. The food was amazing all weekend. Our guests had a blast at the resort too. I am so glad we chose Margaritaville.

We chose Margaritavaille Hollywood Beach Resort because we live in Hollywood and the bride and groom both grew up here. We wanted a local venue that would allow our guests everything Hollywood Beach has to offer. The venue exceeded all expectations! Not only did the banquet/catering staff pull out all the stops to make sure the ceremony on the pool deck happened, despite the constantly changing weather, the food was incredible, and the food and beverage service was outstanding. Our guests have not stopped complimenting the food and service. My husband and I were in the hospitality business for many years and hold high industry standards; Christi and her crew lived up to all of them and never failed to impress. Any future or already booked client can rest assured that their event will be handled with all the care and attention they desire. Thank you so much for a job extremely well done!

We chose Margaritaville because it was beachy and tropical but elegant and able to accommodate a large number of guests. We had a few issues with booking rooms for our room block, and with a high turnover rate in their “catering” department aka the people who run their weddings. But once we were given Michelle Brooks (3 months prior to our wedding), everything changed FOR THE BETTER!!! She was extremely organized, answered all of my crazy questions, and put me at ease. Her first words were “I’ve been in the business for 33 years, you’re in good hands!” Our wedding went off without a hitch. We were able to have an outdoor ceremony AND cocktail hour on the License to Chill 11th floor pool deck, which all of our guests raved about. The view is unmatched. Then had our reception inside the Compass Rose Ballroom. We did stations for dinner- sliders, tacos with a guy making fresh guacamole, and a wok station with fresh pad Thai. Our food was the thing our guests talked about the most. It was absolutely to die for!!!!! Chef Manolo knocked it out of the park, which we knew he would after meeting him and trying everything at the Tasting. The only negatives were issues with the room block, our contact person being changed multiple times during our 1 year planning process, and my husband not getting a to go box of food for after the reception. It was his own fault for not eating (too busy chatting with everyone!) during the reception, but we hoped they would’ve boxed up leftovers for the two of us and they sadly didn’t. The team made up for it by comping our lunch when we stopped by a week later to pick up the miscellaneous wedding items we had mistakenly left behind. All in all, we had an awesome time at a beautiful venue surrounded by all of our family and friends. We could not ask for more!!!

We got married there on St. Patrick's day of this year. We were so excited to have our wedding at Margaritaville and we made the best choice. We worked with Emily and loved her right off the bat. We are not local so a lot of communication was over the phone or via email and she always got back to us as soon as she could. She was very helpful in the days leading up to the wedding as well as the day of. Our guest LOVED the resort and the rooms, everyone had so much fun. Looking back I would say everything went perfectly. There will always be little things here and there on your wedding day but nothing that couldn't be fixed. On the day of the wedding the staff was so attentive and friendly, they really made sure we got the royal treatment. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the Margaritaville restaurant on the second floor. The staff there was very friendly and they decorated the buffet so nicely I thought my mother in law snuck in and did it. You wont regret having your wedding here!

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort was the perfect venue for an amazing wedding weekend. Working with Eric E., our director of catering, made the decision to choose margaritaville even easier. He is the BEST to work with. Always super accommodating, willing to work with us, and just a great guy. He went above and beyond for our wedding and it showed. Our guests are still raving about how much fun the whole weekend was because there’s always something to do around the resort. Between the perfect location, tropical setting, and the license to chill rooftop terrace for our ceremony, I couldn’t have imagined our special day anywhere else. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about this venue. We just got married October 2017.. Emily Payne and her team were amazing!!! Our venue was destroyed by hurricane Irma, with 30 days out they took us on and made it looked like it was planned there from the start. ALL of my guests raved about the food and said it was the best wedding food they ever had. It was a beautiful perfect amazing weekend!!!

Our wedding at Margaritaville could not have been more perfect. Christina T our coordinator and her team were phenomenal the entire way. Christina was extremely fast on emails and phone calls and assisted us with every random question we had. Even during peak season in Florida, Christina and the hotel room coordinator Sammy, were able to work with our group with setting up a room block and even helped accommodate wedding guests that were late to reserve rooms. One of the most important things we were looking for in our venue was a destination that our guests could enjoy all weekend without having to travel anywhere else. We heard countless times throughout the weekend how everyone enjoyed the resort, the ambiance, the beach, the pools, etc. The ceremony area on the 11th floor pool deck gave us spectacular views and the cocktail hour and ceremony space were great! We would highly recommend having your wedding here, you will be in for a fun evening! And request to work with Christina T, she was amazing!

Don’t where to start here, but most importantly, my wife and I feel very fortunate to have had this amazing wedding day at this beautiful resort, January 2016. The terrace wedding overlooking the ocean at sunset was just spectacular beyond words. Our guests had so many great things to say about the ceremony, the food etc, and the celebration continued around the festive resort once our reception concluded. Margaritaville does a great job catering to all ages, and fun activities were had by young/old/kids …everyone……great rooms, beautiful pools, and lots of entertainment on premises and nearby. All the staff was friendly and helpful; and Eric Enriquez and Jamie Botkin always went the extra mile educating us, putting us at ease, and putting everything into motion. Jamie Botkin was our “day of coordinator”, but her role involved much much more than assisting on our wedding day. She assisted us with many of our larger decisions, and was 100% there for us leading up to the big day as well. Jaime went beyond the call of duty. We would have been lost with her assurances and coordinating with vendors, and are so grateful she was by our sides. I would highly recommend that couples check out Margaritaville if considering getting married in South Florida!!!!

We booked Margaritaville in October of 2014 while it was still dirt and in the early stages of construction. I loved the idea of a Margaritaville Resort, it was a common like between my family, my husbands family and friends. We met with Eric Enriquez, Director of Sales, who was able to help us envision what our Margaritaville wedding would be like. He was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. I didn't realize how stressful it would be planning a wedding a venue that was not even open. He made sure to give us updates on the construction and opening process. Our guest count and vision changed throughout the year of planning and Eric was always very accommodating and helpful in every way. When the hotel was finally opening my in laws stayed there numerous times leading up to our wedding and Eric was always happy to give us a tour and answer all of my mother in laws questions. The menu tasting was INCREDIBLE. They have plenty of options and seriously the food is incredible there. Closer to our wedding Emily joined the team and was also amazing and extremely helpful. Anything I needed or had a question about the Margaritaville staff was there to help. I can not say enough wonderful things about having my wedding there. And in my case it was not just one day, only myself and my husband live in Florida so it was a destination wedding for all of our guest. The room rate was amazing and many guest stayed at the hotel 3-5 nights. It was more of a wedding week at Margaritaville and the best ever!

We originally wanted a wedding on the beach (ideally the Keys) but decided to look into the new Margaritaville as it is very close to our house in Hollywood. We were interested in a very casual beach theme wedding - and it was a perfect fit. The ceremony and reception were on the 11th floor rooftop terrace (License to Chill Bar) which was reserved for the event. It was a beautiful setting (5:00 pm) with the sun setting and ocean in the background. The layout/set-up was perfect and the food was buffet style though good. Half of our guests were coming from out of town so we also needed hotel accommodations. The 'resort' was amazing for all the guests, especially those with children. The staff were very accommodating and attentive to our needs. All in all, a great place to have a wedding - even better when you have lots of people coming in from out-of-town.
