We cannot say enough good things about Marie’s Catering and the amazing Amanda. Between myself and our guests, there were several food allergies and dietary restrictions to work around. They handled it all so well, everything was extremely delicious and we received so many compliments. From the appetizers to the main course to the cake, each menu item was spectacular. The bartenders kept our big wedding satisfied with perfect drinks. There were no disappointments and we cannot stress enough blown away we were with receiving such service at such a reasonable price. Last but far from least, Amanda went above and beyond from start to finish. She made planning details ahead of time comfortable and simple, assured each detail we discussed happened the way we discussed the day of, and took away any stress or worry about the post-wedding clean-up. You will absolutely make the right choice with Marie’s Catering.

Amanda from Marie's Catering was amazing! She was very responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. She really doubled as a day of coordinator and worked super hard to make it exactly how I wanted. I would highly recommend her and Maries for any occasion. We went with the buffet style and late-night bite as well as dessert table. Our guests were so happy with the food and the service.

So. Delicious. We hired Marie's for our wedding at Rialto Square Theatre and they did an amazing job. Very accommodating to dietary needs and individual plates even though we did a buffet dinner. And THE APPETIZERS. Still getting compliments on them and I crave the Chipotle chicken bites and caprese crostini pretty much every day now. Worked great with our venue and made sure we had a meal to take and eat after the wedding too. The servers were very attentive and were never far from us if we needed anything. I would definitely hire them again and wish I lived closer so I could get their food more often.

Wow, I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Marie’s. We chose Marie’s after booking our wedding at Danada House, which took place in July. Amanda was truly AMAZING! Not only did she help us every step of the way, including through 3 rescheduled dates due to the pandemic, she went above and beyond for us, helping in every way to coordinate our reception. I felt so comfortable on the day, even though we didn’t have a wedding planner/coordinator. The food was fantastic, and our guests loved the late night snacks! If you are getting married at Danada House, Marie’s is your caterer! If you are not getting married at Danada House, look into Marie’s if you can! Hiring Marie's Catering was one of the best choices we made for our wedding at Danada House in Wheaton, IL. From our first meeting with Amanda it was clear that she is an expert in this field. She knew Danada House especially well and was able to guide us through the process. Also all of the food was amazing at our tasting! Amanda was an irreplaceable guide through the entire process. She was quick to respond to any questions or request. On the wedding day, we had to switch to an indoor ceremony and she handled this adjustment with ease. Amanda was present throughout the wedding day and checked in with us to make sure everything was going as we wished. The servers and bartenders were friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend Marie's Catering!

We can't say enough about how amazing Marie's Catering was. They were the best-priced option from the list of approved caterer's at our venue (Danada House), so from the start they were the winners. Then we learned they offer Polish sausage and the deal was done (requirement at a Polish wedding, and the fam was crazy for it. Polish sausage approved.) The rest of the food was DELICIOUS (Chicken a la Marie!!) and they let us bring a special bottle of champagne to serve to us (bride and groom). Amanda, our event coordinator was absolutely amazing and on top of everything. We didn't have a wedding planner or even day-of coordinator, but Amanda basically took care of everything we needed - setting up table settings, escort cards, guest book, etc. that we provided for her so we didn't have to worry about set-up. She even set up our minimal ceremony decor. They also provided our wedding cake, which was both beautiful and delicious, with the decor we provided. Everything ran on-time and smoothly thanks to Amanda's experience and familiarity with the venue and other vendors. We have nothing bad to say about them!

Our whole experience with Marie's Catering for our wedding in August was amazing. My husband and I had little knowledge about what it took to plan a wedding and they really helped us and made it so much easier and less stressful. A big part of that was Amanda Maciulis, the event specialist we worked with. She was amazing! Professional but friendly, detailed oriented, honest, hardworking, responsive, and so patient and helpful through everything. She put my mind at ease many times. She also referred us to some of our other vendors including our DJ and florist who we were also very happy with. I like Marie's because many of the different parts of a wedding were included in the package we choose, for example, linens and the cake so that was less work for us and a good value. We looked at several other caterers but Marie's food sounded good without being too simple, fancy or expensive. They had a good selection of options for entrees, sides, vegetables, and even late night snack options. The prices were very reasonable. The day of the wedding the service was excellent, my guests loved the food and everything looked great and went smoothly. I would highly recommend Marie's Catering to anyone.

We used Marie's Catering for our wedding reception at Danada House in June 2019. Marie's was wonderful to work with. They are very quick and responsive to any emails and questions. Amanda is very knowledgable about Danada House and was very helpful and easy to work with. Marie's was more than a caterer, they helped with planning leading up to the wedding and set-up on the day of!

Delicious food, affordable, friendly service, and professionalism. Those are the words my husband and I would use for Marie's Catering. We used the family style plating option and all of our wedding guests were blown away by the variety and how good everything tasted. The servers were kind and timely. The decorations were placed perfectly. There was constant communication from beginning to the end with Marie's Catering. We really loved the fact that they were familiar with our wedding venue (Danada House in Wheaton). I am sure I am forgetting something, but I have nothing but wonderful things to say. You will not be disappointed!

Marie’s catering was amazing to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process. My husband and I got married July 19, 2019 at Danada House, and Amanda was our catering point person. Planning a wedding was tough for me, with a million decisions to be made, the entire thing was overwhelming…working with Amanda made it a lot easier. We met a few times throughout the year to taste the food, try different sauces, test the cake, look at linens, and every time we left our meetings we were happy, excited and looking forward to our big day. We went with the diamond package, which set us up for having pretty much everything we could have wanted. Amanda and her team will work with you to personalize your day and substitute out most anything they can when you go with that package. Amanda was so competent and accommodating – even when working with specific food allergies. Every time we met, I felt like she knew exactly where we left off and was focused on what needed to be accomplished at that specific meeting. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, Amanda was SO HELPFUL with setting up most of our personal decorations and truly catering to my fiancé, my parents and myself throughout the night. They held a ton of appetizers for my fiancé and me at our head table and made sure our food was boxed up at the end of the night (bc we didn’t have much time to eat). Our guests raved about the food. Everyone thought the food and bar service was awesome. One of my big worries was having a line at the bar, I made it clear I didn’t want people to be waiting for drinks and Amanda made sure there was never a line that was too long. Amanda helped set up our memory table, photo booth table and a few other personal tables we planned for. She also helped pack everything up at the end of the night. My fiancé and I went to a few other caterers before deciding on Marie’s and if we were to do it all again, we would definitely pick Marie’s again and again.

Our venue had a list of preferred caterers to work with so that helped to narrow down our decision. After researching Marie's catering, we decided to get the ball rolling on the quotes and menu options. There are so many great options to choose from, and right away I knew that this was the caterer for us. Amanda is fantastic at her job; she is incredibly responsive, organized and all-around so nice to work with. We went with their diamond package due to how inclusive and customizable it was. Everything from the food, linens, dessert, alcohol, dishes and more were all taken care of in the package. It really is a one-stop-shop. If you're not sure about who to go with for a caterer, you will not regret going with Marie's. The ease of mind, the quality of the food and professionalism is top-notch. Do yourself a favor, and book them!

Marie’s Catering provides exceptional service, and at a great price! They are extremely professional and their food is delicious! I am so happy that we found them to cater our big day! They were extremely thorough from start to finish on the process of everything and made sure to answer any questions that we had! Their staff during dinner was amazing and our specific server made sure to provide me with a sheet so that I didn’t get anything on my wedding dress! Their Diamond Package included everything you could have asked for: amazing food, delicious deserts, a beautiful cake and an open bar! Ericka was wonderful to work with and didn't hesitate to give her opinion when I needed advice on how to handle different aspects of the event. Amanda, the onsite specialist, made sure we stuck to our timeline and the evening went by without any problems.

We used Marie's for our catering for our 7/7/18 Danada House wedding. Marie's was one of my FAVORITE parts of the whole day, and I cannot say enough good about Marie's!! Ericka was our coordinator, and we met with her about 4 times leading up to our wedding. Ericka was a big reason that we decided to go with Marie's - organized, efficient, complete professional! We started emailing with Ericka, and every detail we mentioned, she had written down and memorized. Compared to other caterers that forgot details like my husband's nut allergies, we knew that Ericka would forget nothing - and she executed our wedding with no hiccups or flaws at all! From start to finish, Ericka knew our wedding down to every last detail. I asked what Ericka's thoughts were on hiring a day-of coordinator so I wouldn't have to worry, and Ericka assured me that was part of her role - and she was right! Ericka acted not only as our caterer but also a director of our whole reception. She walked us through every wedding detail and decision we could make (first wedding for both families!), and gave us excellent guidance along the way. Our food was INCREDIBLE! We had several guests ask if our caterer had a standalone restaurant they could visit because the food really is THAT good! (We had prime rib, stuffed chicken, and stuffed portabella - I can't even pick which is my favorite!). My husband LOVED their packages - we were able (for one reasonable price) to get everything included - hors d'oeuvres, our plated meal, our wedding cake (designed how we'd like), our bar package, our linens, a dessert bar, reception set-up, etc. They even gave us a discount on our flowers! We didn't have to skimp on anything as it was all included (other caterers felt like everything was just additional fees on top of an already expensive day). Our service on the wedding day was some of the best I've ever had. Marie's is seriously amazing!! Thank you so much, Ericka, for making our wedding so perfect!

We got married at Danada House and Marie's was one of the approved caterers. We contacted Marie's and were amazed with the value as well as how professional Ericka was, answering all of our questions. We opted for the Peppercorn crusted Sirloin and the Chicken a la Marie. The meals were amazing. After dinner and the next few days, I probably had 20 plus people tell me that their dinner was amazing! Some of our guests said it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had, and that was definitely the case for us. I highly recommend the Chicken a la Marie and Yukon Mashed potatoes. Ericka was very helpful throughout the whole process and very organized with her emails. She answered all of our emails promptly and asked us questions so the night was extremely smooth. We can't thank her enough for everything she did. If you have a chance to hire a caterer, we highly recommend Marie's Catering! If we could rate them with 6 stars out of 5, we would!

We used Marie's Catering for our June 23, 2018, wedding at Danada House. Working with Ericka was such a pleasant experience. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and hardworking, and works with you to meet your budget and contract needs. (She also got married at Danada, which was huge bonus!) At our tasting, I couldn't believe how good the food was. It was just as delicious the day of the wedding, and our guests raved about everything. We chose the platinum package with 3 passed hors devours, family style dinner, sweet table, and cake. I wound up upgrading the bar package last minute to the VIP. Marie's provides all linens and even sets up your escort cards, card box, guest book, bar frames, etc. for you. I highly recommend Ericka and Marie's for any catered event! :)

Ericka and Marie's Catering had the best service, food, and communication! Everyone at my wedding raved about how amazing the food was! The service was phenomenal as well! Marie's catering thought of every single detail before I even thought to ask. They made sure my new husband and I had all the food we wanted to eat plus appetizers since we couldn't make cocktail hour plus they even had drinks waiting for us at the table for when we sat down! Their service was incredible and they catered to us so well! Everyone said the food was fantastic! Ericka and Amanda did an amazing job helping me plan and day of! We used Marie's Catering for our wedding & we are so happy we did. Victoria was very professional, experienced, and trustworthy. All my fears about who would do what, when, how.....she took care of everything. She was extremely quick with our inquiry. There were a ton of questions to answer but it was worth it to give us an accurate quote. Better to know WAY ahead of time all the costs. They can handle every need! Their prices were very reasonable, definitely more bang for your buck. She met with us in person, then we had a met at the venue so she can get a feel for the space/kitchen. We chose the platinum package, had family style dinner and added appetizers. The wedding cake was included in this package & was SOO good and gorgeous. On the day, the staff was pretty awesome. Professional, courteous, we really enjoyed them! Most weddings I go to, they're usually not very nice. We rented the place settings, really pretty/clean/shiny, glasses were spotless. The food.....OMG the food was really really good. My guests would not stop raving about the food and because it was family style....each guest was able to pick and choose what they wanted to eat. We will definitely go with Marie's Catering for our next event. Hire them & you will be glad you did!

I literally don't even know where to start with this review because Marie's Catering Service was so amazing! First of all, we received quotes from five different caterers and Marie's was by far the most comprehensive, inclusive package we found AND they offered the best price! You get way, way, way more than catering when you hire Marie's. They handle the food, alcohol, linens, china, place settings, late night snacks, cake, etc. You work with their event coordinator, Ericka Vetter, who is absolutely the best. Writing a review for her just can't do her justice. I felt like I had hired a wedding planner because she is just that amazing. She is the most organized person I've ever met and she is super experienced so she will think of things that you would have never thought of. She replies to emails with lightening speed and she went above and beyond to make sure that I had no stress about how things would run on the day of our wedding. If anything went wrong that day, I have no idea because she handled it. Second, their food was great. I am mostly vegan so I was concerned that it would be hard to find a caterer to accommodate my dietary needs. Marie's put together a customized vegan meal for me and my vegetarian guests and it was delicious :) My husband and the other meat eaters had a chicken dish that my husband loved. We also did late night chicken and roasted vegetable quesadillas and they made a plate specifically for me and my mom with no cheese. Many people complimented us on how good the food was. Third, the bar! We had an open bar and several of my family members (who I know have expensive taste in alcohol) complimented the bar and the liquor selection so I knew it was good. The bartenders were also amazing! It was a very hot day in June and the bartenders were bringing us and our bridal party water while we took pictures outside even though they were busy setting up. My friends also commented that after awhile they didn't even have to tell the bartenders what they wanted to drink because they remembered their drink order and would have it ready for them by the time they reached the bar! On that note, I want to mention the service. Our server, Joan, was awesome! We basically had no appetite that day so she wrapped up our leftover food so we could enjoy it later. They also gave us a box of quesadillas and cake to take home and we had appetizers and cocktails of our choice waiting at our sweetheart table since we missed our cocktail hour to take pictures. I was just blown away by all their hard work. They were fast and attentive so we could get through dinner quickly and maximize dance floor time. You will not be disappointed when you hire Marie's to cater your wedding!

Ericka (our catering coordinator) and Marie's Catering overall was top notch! Everyone at my wedding raved about how amazing the food was. The service was phenomenal as well! I've been to several weddings and never had the degree of excellence that Marie's gave to us. There were a few hitches that happened that did not have to do with the catering, yet Ericka was a superhero and resolved everything quickly and efficiently! She was there for the entire night making sure everything went smoothly for us. I cannot say enough great things about this company - their quality is unmatched! They are well worth it!

Marie's was listed as a preferred vendor for our venue and OMG did it exceed all expectations we had!!! The tasting was delicious and honestly made picking the food one of the hardest things of the whole wedding planning process! Ericka was a GODSEND and helped us with every step of the process and helped customize things to make the day perfect. On the day of they were professional and wonderful and everything went so smoothly. Afterword our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was (especially the potatoes!!!) CAN NOT RECOMMEND MARIE'S ENOUGH!!!! LOOOOOVED THEM!

I cannot say enough great things about Marie's! We originally were going to go with another caterer, but due to some constraints with the venue size we had to find someone else - so I sent out a request for proposal to a number of other caterers for a BBQ themed meal (being a picky eater, we wanted a unique meal that really represented us). Ericka from Marie's Catering wrote back the quickest, and created the most comprehensive proposal at the best price (which was also all inclusive with linens, cake, dishes, drinks). She also did a great job at putting together my vision of a BBQ meal given the space of the venue - with a meal that was partly plated and partly family style which worked great! I will admit we weren't blown away at the tasting - but everything was 100x better at the wedding - so much so that myself and my husband kept saying how much better the meat, mac and cheese, cake was at the wedding than we remembered at the tasting! Even our guests kept coming up (and still to this day) telling us how great the food was. You will not be disappointed - if you have the opportunity to hire an outside catering vendor for your wedding, hire Marie's!

I went with Marie's because of their all inclusive packages. Cake, linens, bar packages, and food, oh my! The food was amazing, I was a little worried because we weren't amazed by the food after our tasting. However, everyone commented on how delicious everything was. I would recommend Marie's they have amazing service, everyone I worked with: Ericka and Amanda did a wonderful job.

These folks were our one stop shop for everything we needed for our big damn show at the Rialto Square Theater two weeks ago. Ericka made the planning process a breeze. We had everything done: food, cake, linens, chair covers, table cloths, etc. Amanda was our event coordinator the day of our event and she had it on lock. We felt so comfortable and relaxed with everything in her hands. The staff was very professional and efficient. The food was outstanding (people kept coming up to us and asking about who our vendor was!) and everything looked awesome! I highly recommend you take the time to meet with the fine people at Marie's Catering because they are an absolute gem. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

I switched caterers a month before my wedding and I am soooo glad I switched to Marie's. I only met with them twice and took care of everything perfectly. Their all in-clusive packages take care of all of your needs for a great price!

Having Marie's Catering provide the catering for our wedding was one of the BEST decisions I ever made! When you work with Marie's, you receive so much more than just great food. Marie's provides table linens, a wedding cake, centerpieces, and so much more, not to mention AMAZING service. They truly made my wedding planning that much easier and I am SO thankful that I chose Marie's. Our event coordinator Ericka was simply amazing! She was so helpful, personable, and informative, and she really worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted, throughout the pre-wedding process and during the reception. Marie's staff even helped to set up our table numbers, placecards, centerpieces, and other decor which helped to make my day that much more stress-free; I didn't have to worry about anything! And during the reception, the food was incredible, the service was wonderful, and the whole evening was just seamless. I am so thankful that we had Marie's Catering for our wedding day. Everything was better than I could have ever imagined, and I would gladly recommend them to any bride and groom!

They did a wonderful job, very helpful to the bride! Made everything run smoothly the day of they really made me feel stress free on the day of my wedding! Food was great too, tased the same as it did at our tasting. Overall we were very happy!

Great job. The food was excellent and it came out hot. The cake and desserts were good as well. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly as well. Our representative Ericka was amazing.

Ericka Vetter (Emmett) is one of the most responsive vendors that I have worked with. Any question throughout the planning process was almost immediately answered via email. After months of research and a tasting, we have decided on Marie's Catering, a preferred vendor of The Rialto. This caterer handled The "Brady Wedding" with Adrienne and Chris back in 2006 and continue to cater a lot of the weddings there. I had first thought about bringing another caterer in from another area, but the issue was that the venue (Rialto) had very specific requirements and I definitely needed a veteran of the venue to handle this 200+ affair. They are extremely flexible and creative and have worked on customizing the menu no matter what the request. They actually allowed for us to do a second tasting and we were very specific with the cuisine and service that we wanted for our guests. The taste and product on the wedding day was absolutely perfect! Many people commented that the food was the best "wedding food" they have ever had. I will, however, say that I am disappointed in two things. 1. the temperature of the food was not adequate. I don't know what went wrong, but the beautiful dish was almost spoiled because most of the dishes were at best luke warm (for some tables) and this was at the family tables up close to us. The only forgiveness here is that the facilities at the Rialto are sort of small for food prep and the catering par-cooks the product on the way the. It is very difficult to serve there, but we were expecting what we were promised.. 2. We specifically paid for a 1 per 20 server ratio to insure quick and even food service. I was mortified to look up when I was completely finished eating (30 min passed) to see there were some dinner trays heading out to the guest tables. I do however, feel that the quality of the dish itself probably overshadowed those two points. I just feel a little misled that "everything will be taking care of because we do this all the time" comments made me feel like everything would be perfect. I have a feeling something was not right behind the prep area. Did an oven or warmer go out? Were they short staffed? Did some servers call in? These were all the details that I was not prepared to deal with as the bride and really didn't reflect on until I returned home from honeymoon. I would book them again if they prepared that exact dish to specifications (as they did a wonderful job with) with the appropriate temperature and confirm even serve time. Ericka and her assistant Jaclyn definitely work well with us and their responsiveness showed throughout the planning process. Again, their food quality, taste, and presentation is a notch above other catering companies.

I got married at the Danada House at the beginning of the month. They have a list of approved caterers and Maries was one of many. I researched each one and met with or talked to about 5. Marie's was one of the more reasonably priced caterers and when I met with Ericka, she was by far the most professional planner that I had met with. She came in and it was obvious that she knew what she was doing and what she was talking about. She definitely worked with me on costs and was willing to be flexible. My wedding looked beautiful and the food was awesome! Everyone was very happy with the bar services and with the food as well. I couldn't believe how well organized they were. I was so worried that I was forgetting something during the planning process but anything that I overlooked between her and her assistant Jaclyn they got covered. They were prepared for the unexpected and did a great job of keeping things running smoothly. My wedding was perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better. It was beautiful and compared to other venues that were comparable in beauty their price was definitely the lowest.
