The MCMA arranged the current exhibit so as to allow ample room for the reception and everything was gorgeous. Carriage House Catering knocked it out of the park for the food; it was just amazing!

I can't fully describe how perfect this reception venue was for my wedding! I wanted a 30s/40s-style wedding, and the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art gave it the elegance and sophistication that I was looking for! People are STILL talking about our wedding which was over a year ago. The space, the decor, the food and the cake...they all came together seamlessly...even with our limited budget. (Best wedding cake I've tasted!) Rhonda, our wedding coordinator, was very helpful in suggesting ideas to give the venue the look I wanted. We had about 125 guests with plenty of room to eat and dance. I had a bar and a "photo booth" in the lobby, a dj and dance floor in the front room (with a few tables), and used the back two rooms for dinner tables and a buffet set-up. My guests enjoyed walking around and looking at the artwork in the upstairs and downstairs galleries throughout the reception. The chef did a fantastic job...even my mom's foodie friend was raving about the food! The location near the Marietta Square gave my husband and me some great photo ops! We wouldn't change a thing!!
