Brad was a phenomenal DJ/Emcee. He was helpful through the planning process, he was so responsive when we had questions, and gave great suggestions. He played the songs we requeste...
d and always had timely commentary. He read the crowd and played all the right songs at the right time. He worked well with all of the other vendors to make the day seamlessly perfect. Super friendly and great at what he does!
Thanks Brad !

We had so much fun working with Mark for our wedding a couple of weeks ago! We got to meet with him several times before the wedding to go over details and the day of everything we...
nt perfect. We had a small wedding of only 20 guests and he kept the day running smoothly, making sure we were where we needed to be at all times with great direction. We also had a list of at least 6hrs worth of music requests (for 4hrs of dancing) and he somehow made our eclectic list work! Mark was easy to work with, super friendly, and always available for questions and meetings. We couldn't be happier Mark was our DJ!
Mark Welch Entertainment was excellent! Mark is a great emcee and kept the party rolling right along! He and his team are also great at managing and planning the day of timeline as...
well. I would definitely recommend this vendor for any type of event that you'd like a dj/emcee! You won't be disappointed!
Mark, is AMAZING!!! I mean amazing. When picking a DJ I really think of it as picking an organizer, manager, emcee, and time magician. It is SO MUCH MORE then music. So much mo...
re and Mark delivered. Heck, he took charge of stuff we didn't even know we needed help with.
First let me say, he gave us peace of mind. So many vendors you work with need time lines, answers, info and Mark helped us to create the schedule and flow of the day. He then made a schedule and communicated with other vendors. I mean he knew answers before I had the questions. Once we met with him I felt a huge burden lifted from my shoulders. He has done so many weddings, he know whats next way before you do. That being said, with his online music election and questions it allows him the tools to tailor your wedding so it truly represents you. Our music ran from Beatles, to punk, to the Saints Go Marching In...and he got in all in seamlessly.
We had opted to have a "song request" in our RSVP. I wasn't sure if this would be a burden to Mark but it actually worked great. He gives you access to an online profile where you answer questions and select your music. Within that there is a notes section. I simply added the note for each person and their request. What was great was then he mentioned the person's name and that just made everyone feel like part of the festivities plus made them get up and dance when there song was on.
He also managed the day for us and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Behind the scenes he organized the time and cheerily asked us if it was fine. I loved it! We just felt like we could decide in the moment, for example what time we really wanted to leave, dance, etc.
He is the #1 choice!
Mark was extremely accommodating and was a great help in setting up the timeline for our wedding reception at Wildwood Acre Resort. He checked in with us frequently before the wedd...
ing, and made sure that everything was going according to plan.
His online tool for selecting songs, and choosing the things that we wanted to do was so easy to use and super effective in getting information to him. The week or so leading up to the wedding, we didn't have any issues because we knew he had the information, exactly how we wanted it.
Thank you Mark for being a huge part of our wedding reception!
Ladies, trust me - You want Mark to DJ your wedding. As a low-key bride who was planning her wedding from across the country, my choice of DJ was honestly pretty low on my list. I ...
completely lucked out that Mark is the preferred vendor at our venue (Wildwood Acres Resort, Lafayette CA). But let me tell you - MARK IS AMAZING. He truly made everything so easy. He made the night flow so perfectly, and was so reassuring and helpful during our wedding day. I felt so at ease on my wedding knowing Mark had everything under control!!! Thanks again Mark!!
Our DJ was Chris, who works with Mark and his company. What an incredible person. Nicest people to work with. Chris moved the party right along and was so engaging with our guest. ...
Everybody had a great time, even the young at heart had a great time dancing the night away. Chris even worked through dinner, making sure we were all engaging and sharing as the platters of food were passed along. I feel like we made a connection with Chris and now we will all miss him. I must make sure he DJ's for all our friends so we can hang out again.
We are so happy we went with Paul as our DJ. He really set the tone for the night and knew exactly what music to play to get everyone out on the dance floor. He really understood w...
hat type of music my husband liked and did a good job of sticking with the theme. We got many compliments on the music that night and the DJ. Paul met with us a couple days before the wedding to make sure he understood the flow of the wedding, which was great! We couldn't be happier with our selection.
I have been to enough weddings to know that the DJ makes or breaks your reception!
I can say that without a doubt DJ Mark Welch will MAKE your reception!! He was absolutely ama...
zing - from the meetings before the big day, to the easy to use online song request/planner, to the big day! He is upbeat, fun, energetic, and entertaining :)
He uses an easy to use online program where you can select songs that you absolutely DO NOT want played at your wedding, to a MUST play. It also has an amazing "day of planner" and organizer that was beyond helpful in my planning process.
He is easy to reach when you have any questions, and literally makes your big day perfect! He kept everything flowing with no dead spots, as well as getting everyone where they should be when they needed to be somewhere. My guests raved about how wonderful he did and how it was a great party!
I HIGHLY recommend Mark Welch Entertainment for any of your DJ needs! I literally do not have one complaint about him!!!
Mark was absolutely amazing! Very professional and met with us two or three times before the wedding and helped make our wedding very unique and special! On the wedding day he was ...
great! Took requests from guests and there was always a crowded dance floor! My uncle said, "Great DJ! I've never seen so many people dancing at a wedding!"
Working with Mark was amazing. He was on-time, professional, organized, fun, and kept everyone dancing all night. Our guests even commented about how good he was! His audio syst...
em and online song choosing site is top notch and he offers a lot of extra fun personal touches. He is also well connected, so you can find all the rest of your vendors through him as well.
I wanted to use Mark Welch because it was so highly rated. I thought is would be worth the price and decide to use them over free family/friend DJ'S; I was so wrong. DJ Steve mes...
sed up my song choices for the bouquet/garter toss, didn't play introduction songs on time and was so unenthusiastic. I am really sorry we used him.
Chris is a wonderful person and DJ! we gave him asmall list of must have songs, our favorite music, and he did the rest! He even Emcee'd the wedding. The music, and especially his...
capability in running the show was a huge relief and done fun and professionally. He is truly a master and kept us together for the whole event. i would not recommend any other Dj company!!
Where do I even begin? To say Mark Welch was the biggest reason my wedding was a success would be an understatement. His services went above and beyond our expectations. His websit...
e served as the perfect tool for planning our wedding. We used the majority of his suggested vendors and they all worked wonderfully together.
When it came to planning the wedding, it was understatement to say my family and I were a little lost and behind. I got engaged in February (2012) and already had my date set for July 7, 2012. Mark made the process more of joy then a stress. He answered all of our questions, made suggestions on what might work better and assured us it would all work out.
On the day of, I truly don't think it could have run smoother. The vendors worked together and I rarely had to tell anyone to do anything. They checked in with me to let me know what was next. The dance floor was filled all night and my guests constantly told me and my husband what a wonderful time they were having.
Mark, it was truly an honor to have you as our DJ. Thank you so much for making my Wedding day everything I could have ever hoped for.
We love our DJ Steve! He did a great job on our wedding. Very easy to work with, so perfessional!
He ran the whole show. He took over from the start of the reception. He noticed I didn't like a certain song for the candle lighting of the ceremony so he found a different versi...
on the day of the wedding. He gave us mints while we were waiting to greet people. He was so much fun and we got so much compliments on him.
He came over to my house two times before the wedding to go over the play list and find out how we wanted the day to go. He also did our ceremony music for us, which was a lot ...
easier then having to bring some one else in to do it for us. We had the pastor and his wife sing, and the DJ didn't have a problem setting that up for us. He was very easy to work with, and every thing was up to us. He was flexible when we wanted to switch things the night of the reception, and was a joy to work with!
