I had my wedding here this weekend and there was no AC throughout the whole event. It was extremely hot and despite notifying them multiple times it was never fixed. The womens bathroom weren’t working downstairs. The fridge wasn’t working so we had to put the cakes in the freezer. We were promised all tables would be downstairs however they placed multiple tables upstairs. They left a wet floor sign on the aisle while we were making our entrance. The floor was slippery from sweat and humidity people were literally falling. The ice cream was melting faster than people could consume it. We were sent a pic of our decorations however instead of giving a white couch they gave us a couch with a sheet over it. Cindies/tempura grill did not attempt to give us any money back instead badgered us for a tip at the end of the night. They also attempted to blame us for breaking the AC.

I highly don't recommend this venue! If you do book with them make sure you record everything they tell you. They tell you one thing then they don't follow through with. Had to have 3 meetings with the owner to get things straighten out.
Beautiful venue but it's not worth the stress!
Good luck if you get married here! All they want is your business and they don't care what happens after that.
Also they will show people the venue on your wedding day when you're getting ready with wedding party!
You been warned!

Brides Brides Brides Attention!
Cindy's Palace Venue is the place to go to have your dream wedding. My initial wedding venue that i had previously booked with ended up closing down and we were unable to get our deposit back and then a friend of mine recommended Cindy's Palace and since i was on such short notice, i agreed to come and check it out and i fell in love with the venue as soon as i walked in. Rebecca and Adam were very professional and very understanding especially in the position that i was in and were able to work with me on my new budget and EVERYTHING i mean everything was just perfect. My guest complimented me numerous times that day and i'm still saying thank you lol. Cindy's palace will make you feel like family and that is just the type of comfort i needed for my special day.

I just booked with Cindy's Palace Banquet Hall and i have to say that Adam and Rebecca were so helpful. At first i was very overwhelmed because i have never planned a wedding before but they ensured me that everything would be taken care of and that's all had to hear for me to look at my fiance and say " Lets BooK!" We got the VIP Package and i cannot wait to see what they have in store for my big day! A BIG THANKS TO YOU BOTH !!
first impressions are very important to me and i got nothing but great vibes from Cindy's palace as soon as i walked in.

We booked at Cindy's after looking at other venues. Cyndia made our experience smooth. I expected some things to go wrong because nothing is perfect. Because of Cyndia she went above and beyond her duties which made things for smooth sailing. If you don't get something its because its not in your contract . She explained everything up front so we knew what to expect. We and our guest had a wonderful time!! Thank you Cyndia and staff so much for all you did to make our daughter's day so special!!!

I recently had my wedding a Cindy's palace and their management is full of liars. They will say anything to get your business & at the end disappoint you. BUYER BE WARE!!!
1. At least 10 months in advance I was looking for a venue that would allow me to bring in my own liquor. I told them I was looking at another venue which did make allowance for this, I informed Cyndia about this other location.
She told me they were going discontinue their TABC license prior to me signing my contract. This was a positive thing because they promised us we would be allowed to bring in our own liquor, and save thousands on bar costs.
About 2 months prior to the wedding day (after all the invites have been sent out) they called us and told us they would be keeping their TABC license & we would NOT BE ABLE TO BRING IN OUR OWN LIQUOR.
Essentially they would not be able to honor their SIGNED CONTRACT! After many debates they said we could buy alcohol but they would KEEP any of it which was not used. THEY DEVISED A SCHEME TO DISPENSE AS LITTLE AS THEY CAN & KEEP THE REST. One of the bartenders did not realize she was talking my mother & told her there was NO RED WINE...my mom pointed and said I BOUGHT IT & BEHIND YOU THERE ARE SEVERAL BOTTLES OF RED WINE! They also promised they would provide all the mixer's namely margarita mix...when I came on that day...NO MARGARITA MIX (which was very important for me to have at my bar, I asked Cyndia about this over and over again to confirm they were going to provide this, and of course she reassured me it would be there. Only again for them to disappoint.)
2. Cyndia told us we could come and set up Monday or Tuesday the week of my event which was on a Friday (we had alot of decor we were putting up ourselves) she then turned around and told us we could only come in the day before to set up decor which was a major hit on our timeline seeing as how we were doing everything ourselves. Why tell us one thing, and change at the last minute?
3. On the day of the event she tells me MY MAKE-UP ARTIST CAN'T DO MY MAKE-UP IN THE CHANGING ROOM...WE HAVE TO USE THE HALLWAY...I'm like what??? So you want all my guest coming in to see the BRIDE getting her hair and make-up done in the hallway while they are being seated for dinner? I definitely would not have booked this place if that was communicated to me. There are several other places in Houston that make accommodations for their BRIDE to be COMFORTABLE, and not to inconvenience her.
4. They told my mother she could leave her decor in the hall and pick them up on a subsequent date, when my mom returned SEVERAL of her items where STOLEN!!!.
There were a number of other things that were said and done that was not right. Cindy's palace management is a very TERRIBLE group of people to work with. They will say and do ANYTHING to get you to sign a contract AND GET YOU MONEY. Then they start showing their true colors closer to your wedding date when there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING YOU CAN DO about it; because they start their TRICKS VERY CLOSE TO YOUR WEDDING DAY. I was left completely HELPLESS because all my invitations had gone out, and I had several family members coming internationally for this event.
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM if you want you wedding process to be as stress free as possible. They will LIE to you up front to get the business, and start changing things at the END when its too LATE FOR YOU TO CANCEL THEM.

Hello Cindy's staff,
I want to offer a suggestion. Train your staff to be more curtious. I stopped by while in the area to get a card and brochure and the lady was so rude I immediately decided not to even consider this place. Weddings are stressful enough. I'm so thankful you showed me upfront your level of hospitality.

I wanted a venue that was different from typical banquet halls so last August of 2016 I inquired Cindy's Palace for my wedding that took place May of 2017. Me and my mother met with a lady named Doris and she got us set up nice.. BUT THIS IS WHERE THE STORY TURNS... When we came back in April to now go over the contract their was a new owner and an incompetent event manager that put us through HELL! If you are not Hispanic they will treat you like SH*T!!! It was the wort experience ever and it got to the point where I cried because of the frustration they put us through. They have no hospitality and they will make the process anything but pleasant. They canceled planning meetings last minutes, they up-charged for everything, they hand wrote on contracts after we signed them (which is illegal), they lied to us on what was available to us and then on the day of my wedding said they never said that. (LIARS!!) You name it they did it. They really tried to ruin my wedding, but thank God we prayed and covered every disaster and work of the Devil in prayer because my wedding still went as planned even though Cindy's Palace owner and staff tried their hardest to ruin it. Do yourself a favor and run very very very far from this establishment. They deserve not a penny of anyone's hard working money. And I will say that until the day I die.

aid for was the rental of the venue only. meaning we only provide chairs and tables and the hall. Christine's family were suppose to provide everything else . where things turned for the worst was when Christine and her family were asking and demanding all sorts of things from Cindy's Palace and did not want to pay for them. therefore the outcome was we did not give them those items. we did absolutely everything that was agreed on the contract and christine was getting upset because we were only following our policy. all of her guest were very pleased with our gorgeous hall and i lost count on how many people were asking for our information for future events. and again i do not appreciate you bashing our company and saying that we are racist just because we didnt provide you with things that you did not pay for. we love everyone and we have done Caucasian , indian, muslim, black, nigerian, Hispanic and Asian Weddings and they have all been successful . we are based on perfection and Top notch service and all we ask is that you be honest with yourself as also with everyone else and we are going to pray for you. This venue was all that...and a bag of Lays! Staff was great and I would recommend them to anybody!!!! Shoutout to Adam for doing an excellent job as well!

All I have to say is thank God that this place was still available two months before our wedding took place. Our original venue, which was going to be at our church, gave away our spot to another party and we had to scramble to find a new place. Luckily for us, Cindy's Palace had just built a new addition to their facility named the Tuscany Hall and it was available for us to rent. The staff was really nice and forthcoming with all the answers we required. Ninfa was my assigned wedding coordinator and she was super sweet and available. Really liked that about her. The price was great too, we got to rent out the Hall for only $2500, which really helped us keep to our wedding budget. Thankfully, on the big day, everything turned out beautifully and I loved how the Hall looked. My only issue of the place and why I gave it a 4/5 rating was that one of the AC vents leaked and a couple of our guests slipped on the accumulated water. One had to be taken to the emergency room to make sure she wasn't seriously injured. Despite that happening (I was not aware of this btw, heard about it after), Ninfa handled everything accordingly and they even paid for the hospital visit.

Everyone there was very nice and willing to help even after we booked our date and paid. My older sister had her reception here about a year before me and we'd been to many other friend's receptions here so we knew it was beautiful. The main organizer quit about 2 weeks before our wedding which at first really stressed me out, but her replacement and helpers were more than willing to step in and make our day special. The only problem I had was that our cake tables were not set up with the cutting utensils and plates we had brought earlier so when we got on stage to cut the cakes we had to wait and I had to get some things out myself. They had also just gotten new projectors that when the DJ plugged his stuff in made the slideshow jumpy...this is probably fixed by now though. Outside catering is allowed and they decorate most of the reception for you. I wanted a few extra things on the tables so we went up and did them ourselves the day before, and they were there to help. Overall good experience and would choose here again. B

I must say that i have very mixed feelings about my experience with Cindy's Palace. Only one member of the staff was helpful. The other member was completely inadequate. We argued back and forth about things that were clearly stated in the contract. I finally requested that only the competent staff member handle my account and day of coordination. Unfortunately, I found out the day of the wedding she was in a car accident. As a result.
My 6pm reception had cold food including half cooked potatoes (they had no other events the entire weekend). Dinner service started an hour late
The staff was eating out food BEFORE the guests were served. The special turkey we personally brought mysteriously 'disappeared.'
The place was decorated beautifully, but the staff was incredibly unorganized and unprofessional. It was a nice reception and guests were pleased, but there were a lot of comments about the cold/half-cooked food.
