We cannot thank Kourtney enough for everything she did for us to make our day run so smoothly and perfectly. My father-in-law put it best when he asked us if there were five Kourtneys at the wedding because she seemed to be everywhere at the same time -- but in the most unobtrusive, calm, and relaxed way ever. Both of my parents could not stop talking about Kourtney the day after the wedding and singing her praises for everything she did to make things go off without a hitch. From helping my dad with his setup for his FOB speech to making sure my mom took home all of her accessories at the end of the night, Kourtney took care of everyone's needs without even being told what they were! And her assistance wasn't limited to the day of the wedding. Kourtney helped me in the months leading up to the wedding and, even though I pride myself on being pretty organized, reminded me of elements of the wedding I hadn't even thought of and helped me make sure everything was in place -- which paid off in a big way as the wedding drew closer in that we didn't have any last minute fire drills to worry about. When making the decision in hiring Kourtney, I remember reading numerous reviews that said hiring Kourtney was the best decision they made in terms of the wedding. I now completely understand where those other brides and grooms were coming from. After all the time and money that went into the big day, Kourtney allowed my husband and I to truly enjoy our day without having to worry about any of the small (and big) stuff. We cannot thank Kourtney enough for that gift. We would HIGHLY recommend Kourtney to anyone planning a wedding. My husband and I agree that hiring Kourtney was some of the best money we spent on our wedding. It will be one of the best decisions you make. Trust us!

WOW! What would I have done on my wedding day without Kourtney? I was skeptical that I needed a wedding planner since my venue provided one, however, Kourtney went above and beyond to make sure that myself and the groom along with our families had everything we needed. She did everything from pinning my veil, holding my lipstick, to an extensive minute by minute break down of the day. In that process, she picked up on some important details that I would have clearly missed. Her demeanor is calm and refreshing all the while feeling like a great friend on your big day! After the wedding, she sent me some awesome details of videos and pictures you could not have the chance to catch while being the bride. I would advise for anyone that is considering a wedding planner, that you will not regret hiring Kourtney. I was so grateful for her that day!

Kourtney is a super-star wedding planner. I seriously don’t know how we could have gotten through our wedding without her calm, organized and resourceful manner. She approaches your special day with so much care and guidance, and is a literal wedding guardian angel. She has keen attention to detail, keeps everything (and everyone) running on time, always has whatever you might need (or have forgotten about), and does it all with a smile. My family still talks about how lucky we were to have Kourtney with us for our wedding; she truly allowed for us all to relax and enjoy the day. If you’re considering having her for your big day, you’ll certainly be in AMAZING hands.

Hiring Kourtney was the best decision that we ever made! We hired her as our day of coordinator and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Kourtney made our day seamless, which left both of us feeling as relaxed as I think anyone can be on their wedding day. There were so many things that she brought up with us during meetings that we never would have thought of on our own! And she was right there anytime we need her advice and/or support. Everything that day was perfect for us and we have her to thank for that!! First off, if you are thinking about or on the edge of hiring a wedding planner, do it! You won't regret it. AND I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Kourtney and her team to do the job! It will be the best decision you make out of them all!

After getting married my husband and I felt like there was a void left where Kourtney used to be. For the almost-year leading up to the wedding, Kourtney's humor, grace, cool-under-pressure attitude and attention to detail carried us through every decision. Kourtney is a flexible perfectionist - never harping on anything that didn't need our attention while executing my off-the-wall vision of "Wes Anderson 70s palette literary-themed wedding in the Catskills" to a T. It poured my wedding day and Kourtney worked to create a Plan B solution that was better than Plan A could have ever been – and still allowed for us to still be outdoors. I want to go back and do it all over again. And also hire Kourtney as a life planner, although my life's plan is even weirder than my wedding theme and I wouldn't want to put anyone (aside my husband) through that.

This review may be hard with only 3500 characters because I can say without a doubt . . . my wedding planning would not have happened as stress free as it was without Kourtney with some of the typical troubles I ran into along the way that threw me into a few tailspin's! Towards the beginning of my planning things were going fine, but as the wedding date started to get closer I was encountered with multiple obstacles that I had NO idea how to handle having this been my first wedding (hopefully my last). However, on a weekly basis, I would get a call or text from Kourtney asking how things were going as we were getting closer to the wedding and any time I was in a tough spot, crying, having a rough time, or struggling with something, her calm demeanor either explaining to me how to handle the situation or completely taking over and handling it FOR me was the only thing that allowed me to keep my peace of mind as I was getting closer to the big day. By the time the wedding day came around, everything was done and handled (I was SO sure I was forgetting something lol). The morning of my wedding I was able to start getting ready at the hotel with my bridesmaids and once we moved over to the venue I was able to enjoy my time in the Bridal Suite with my girls while Kourtney and her team set the entire venue up and executed my vision -- they wouldn't allow me to set a finger on anything and made sure my job that morning was to enjoy and take in the fun of getting ready for my wedding day. She drew up a timeline of when everything was scheduled to happen minute by minute for myself and all my vendors and the entire day went off without a hitch (if there was a situation or issue that occurred that day, I sure as heck didn't know about it because most likely she had it under control.) She made it so clear for us that her focus that day was to make sure my family, my husband's family, our guests and I enjoyed every second of the entire day without having to work a single second of it. Myself and my now-husband were her main focus, checking on us throughout the night, along with coordinating and running the entire wedding day and there aren't enough words in the world I could say to thank her for putting together, setting up, running and coordinating every second of one of the best days of my entire life. Per my mom and sister, they also coordinated the cleanup of the venue and made absolutely sure we were out of there on time to make sure we were not charged for any additional time. I know this was so incredibly long but choosing a wedding coordinator is one of the biggest decisions you'll make when planning your wedding because they are the one you will turn to for almost everything. I can guarantee you without a doubt in my mind that Kourtney has far more experience than we do as first-time Brides and I felt more than confident handing my big day over to her and her team and I don't regret a darn thing!!!

Kourtney and her team were a godsend when it came to planning and executing our wedding. From initially discussing our vision for the wedding to the day of, she was honest and flexible when it came to expectations, budget, vendors and all. The day itself was planned masterfully and my now wife and I were able to simply focus on ourselves and our guests. Thank you Kourtney for being all we could have asked for and more. If you're on the fence and looking for a planner to make your dream wedding come through, go with Kourtney!

If you're looking for a detail oriented, organized, responsive, calm, attentive wedding planner who thinks of every single detail and executes flawlessly, look no further. Kourtney is a seasoned professional. She helped us manage, negotiate, and coordinate every vendor throughout our almost 2 year wedding planning process. Leading up to the wedding she participated in all vendor meetings, used her experience to ask questions of the vendors and me, and organized the weekend down to the minute. On the day of the wedding, there were zero hiccups. Everything ran according to plan and she made sure the room and details were set exactly as we had discussed. Throughout the wedding day she anticipated my every need before I even knew I needed it and made me feel calm cool and collected all day. I'd recommend Kourtney 1000%!!! And on top of it all, she's a great person and super fun and easy to work with! !

My wedding was perfect for one specific reason,Kourtney. I don't even know where to begin! Kourtney is highly gifted in organization and making sure every possible thing is taken care of! The moment I booked with her a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. The day of my wedding Kourtney was literally in 10 places at once! I don't know how she does it but she literally thinks of every possible thing and without her my wedding would have fallen to pieces. Kourtney made me feel as if we were friends forever and she would have my back through it all, and she did exactly that. Words will never be enough! I will remember my wedding day forever and Kourtney has everything to do with that being a perfect memory! If you do not book with her you are missing out!!!! I wish I could give her 10 stars! My daughter's wedding was just about perfect in every way. We had never planned such a huge event (my first child to get married) and so we were flying on faith often, hoping that our decisions turned out to be good. I can honestly say that we were so very fortunate -- all our vendors were fabulous. But, by far THE VERY BEST DECISION WE MADE WAS HIRING KOURTNEY. She was absolutley wonderful at every turn, making my daughter's wedding perfect. We weren't sure if we needed to hire a wedding planner at all -- WRONG -- you need a wedding planner!! As the week before the wedding approached, so many little but unexpected obstacles developed. We were completely relaxed because Kourtney handled everything. She is organized, gracious, meticulous about details, humble, flexible - a great leader for the day. We were able to be in the moment, thoroughly enjoying our guests and the beauty of the day because we were not worried about the event itself. Kourtney is amazing. Highly, highly recommend!!

Words can not even begin to express the feelings I have for Marquis Events.. In all the decision makings I had to make for my wedding this was 1,000% the best one I made(well my husband too ;-). I heard so many horrible stories about wedding planning etc... I literally had not one thing (seriously) not one thing I needed to worry about. Having Kourtney and her team by my side made my wedding a dream come true. I can not say enough great things about her and her team. I mean even people at my wedding were amazed by her!! If I were to have a negative comment it would be they don't prepare you for the aftermath. I literally felt a huge void in my life when I didn't get an email or call from her after the wedding. A wedding event planner wasn't a thought until a friend mentioned it would be helpful. I happened to stumble across Marquis Events by chance and I am so glad I did. Professional, efficient, friendly and literally said no to nothing made the impossible, possible. Kourtney and her team would be a great addition to your wedding day planning etc. I highly I mean HIGHLY recommend using Marquis Events. I really have not ONE complaint. Not ONE... Go for it!

No words to express how lucky I am to have found Kourtney. I originally wasn't going to use a day of coordinator until I realized I was definitely going to need one. From our first phone conversation I knew she would be a great fit. She immediately set up a time to meet at the venue and discuss everything I was thinking in terms of decorations and time lines. She reached out to all the vendors and answered any questions or concerns I had. The day of the wedding she really showed not only myself but my friends and family how awesome she is at her job. I had people coming up to me telling me how amazing she was doing. She created an extensive schedule from the rehearsal down to the last 15 minutes of the wedding. She did more then I could have ever imagined. Her and her team did an amazing job and I can honestly say she was worth every penny and then some !! My husband and I felt like she was more then just a vendor. After it was all said and done I felt like we gained a friend. Thanks again marquis events!!

Where to start with Kourtney... She is the consummate professional who will make sure you’re design is stunning, you're organized and everything goes off without a hitch. I’ve worked with Kourtney on a handful of weddings and have always been incredibly impressed with her ability to design, organize and execute. When it was time for my wedding and I was overwhelmed with the plethora of options out there, I knew I needed to enlist her help. She consulted for me from afar and helped with so much. There are so many details that are challenging for a bride (whose never done this before) to navigate and put together. From narrowing down color choices that compliment your venue, to the flowers that will compliment your dress and bridesmaids dresses, it can get overwhelming, fast. Since Kourtney has done this so many times, and executed design on many different styles of high-end weddings, I trusted her to guide me through mine. She did not disappoint. I was so happy with the decisions we made based on her suggestions. Our wedding was stunning, just what I wanted and...is being featured in multiple wedding blogs! Do yourself a favor and hire Kourtney as your wedding planner. Not only are her ideas gorgeous and beautiful, her ability to execute and organize your big day is worth its weight in gold. You only have one wedding day. Leave it to Kourtney and you won’t regret it.

It's 9 days before your wedding: You think you have it all figured out. The food, the band, the venue.... And then the food guys don't respond; the band forgot your playlist that they have been, "practicing for months" and for some reason, you thought you could coordinate the timing of your own wedding, from the altar... This is where panic would usually settle in, but not when you remember the incredible girls that coordinated your sister's wedding. Those girls were Kourtney, and her incredible friend, Kristin. With one phone call, Kourtney dropped everything she was doing, at 6pm, a week before the wedding, and took the reins. Kourtney intertwined herself gracefully into a wedding we has been working on for a year, with 580+ guests, overnight. Thank you, Kourtney and Kristin, for allowing me to focus on the beautiful girl i got to marry, not the schedule of events. You are incredible, and Lauren and I thank you, again, for allowing this evening to be the most magnificent night of our lives!!

Kourtney was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day. She was incredibly organized and buttoned-up when it came to dealing with the inevitable last minute nuisances that come up, despite the families' best efforts. I would absolutely recommend Kourtney to anyone who is looking for a talented, experiences and professional day-of wedding coordinator.

Throughout the process of planning a wedding there are many important decisions that have to be made to insure that your daughter has the perfect day. Perhaps the best decision we made was having Kourtney Marquis as our daughter, Danyelle’s, wedding planner. Kourtney was extremely detail oriented, communicative and passionate about making sure the wedding was perfect. Not only an excellent wedding planner but caring, funny and the nicest person you will ever meet. Every day for about a year Kourtney was accessible through phone, text and email with any large or small questions we might have had. Kourtney made herself available for any appointment we asked her to come to, including dress shopping and venue visits. She balanced her professional opinion with the vision of the bride and always put Danyelle and Nick’s preferences first. Kourtney knew every contract inside and out and could answer our questions or object to any discrepancies presented by a vendor. Kourtney communicated with all our vendors (floral, hotel, transportation, make up, photographers, videographers) and reviewed each contract with a fine tooth comb before passing it along for billing. The day of the wedding Kourtney was everywhere; the bride’s house, with the groom, at the church and at the venue making sure everyone was on schedule and making sure everything looked perfect. She kept the wedding on track, making sure everything was done that the bride wanted (specific photos, dances, speeches and cake cutting) without having the reception feel like a stringent timeline. I can't say enough wonderful things about Kourtney and Marquis Events. Kourtney is so sweet and was an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first conversation, Kourtney made me feel comfortable and took the time to listen to all my ideas. She had so many great suggestions from the band to all the decor.
