We got a day pass to lie by the pool while waiting for our flight in the evening. Nice area with a small pool, and places in the sun and shade. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, but some of the staff working with the conference rooms w...

I just used the parking lot for a long term stay, it is an excellent option if you want to avoid the high fees at Miami airport. Book in advance as it has limited spaces and is very popular, around $8-$10 per day + fees. You leave the car in an...
uncovered parking lot and there is a shuttle every 15 minutes to the airport, on the way back you pick it up at the same place where you left it at the airport and there is a shuttle every 15 minutes.

The good: 15 minute walk to endless variety of restaurants. Very nice room with a view to the east and morning sunrise. Terrific pool and patio area and above average gym. Well stocked convenience shop.
The lousy: annoying $5 dollar fee for a $...
8 dollar Amazon delivery. Yes, that's a 62% fee!! Especially annoying since I called the front desk beforehand to ask if I could receive an Amazon delivery and they replied "Absolutely! Lots of guests do, every day!".
They just happened to leave out the "and the hotel will charge $5.00 dollars per item as a convenience fee"...🤨

I’d just like to start off by saying out of staying at multiple Marriott hotels around the world. 15 countries to be exact. This was the first time I experienced extremely poor service. Jasmine was who was “helping” me, was too lazy to perform ...
a task and made me do it myself. Fine. Came back and had to wait again in line (keep in mind I never had to do that myself, ever) and after finishing everything, no explanation of anything, no eye contact, just a lack of care overall. This is embarrassing to Marriott because I know the level of service that Marriott provides and this is not it. The room was clean and very large. Outside of the level of service, everything else checked out like a normal Marriott. Hopefully they get their service level back to expectations.

😳 My husband and I do not write reviews, but this is probably one of the most unprofessional and disorganized Marriots that we have ever been in Miami. The supervisor at the front desk
Isabel is rude and does not know how to deal with guest...
s' concerns issues. Our company has a contract with Marriott , and we were told that the bill was not paid by our company and that we needed to vacate the property. We were being evicted and thrown out of our room by a Marriot Front Desk Manager , who did not check her facts before insulting paying Bonvoy Member. The room was not properly cleaned , there was hair in the bathroom sink, the sheets were very hard, and did not smell good. The restrooms in the lobby area were also dirty. There was urine on the floor. Canefire Restaurant is way overpriced, and they also charge an automatic 18% Gratuity Service Charge. The waiters appear to get upset when guests do not leave them extra tip. and the quality of the food is poor quality and undercooked. The smoke alarm detector kept going off on our floor. We were told by the phone operator that this is happening all the time on our side of the building. We had to wait more than 15 minutes for the fire alarm to be turned off. One of the main elevators was out of service . We called the front desk and were told that this happens all the time. We went to Champions Restaurant to get so something to eat and were told the restaurant was slow and they closed at 10 pm . The hotel has a small communjty pool that is shared by the other two hotels. Bring your own towels to the pool. There were no guest towels at the pool . We asked a hktel maid for some pool towels, and she got upset at us for asking for towels. We were not able to understand, and she did not speak english. Most of the employees we interacted with did not appear to be happy working at this location . The only positive thing about this Marriott is the location and complimentary airport shuttle bus.
