Was very responsive to emails and kept us updated on our guests' accommodations.
We chose this hotel since lots of friends and family love the Marriott. After selecting, we were definitely disappointed in the Customer Service Agent. She made us jump through lots of hoops uncommon to the Marriott brand. However, due to the location, apparently this Marriott did not have to be as accommodating as they are usually known to be. We were definitely skeptical to say the least, but were happily surprised. We arrived to a lovely bridal suite and all of our guests enjoyed their stay.
This was such a horrible experience on my wedding day. My husband signed a contract with an employee there who unfortunately left 2 weeks before our wedding. So they started charging us for extra stuff the last 2 weeks before our wedding that was supposed to be covered already. Then they booked a graduation for 300 students right before my wedding. They were supposed to be done at 6:30 so they could set up for my wedding at 7:30. At 7:30 the graduation was still going on and they told my husband rudely that he needed to be patient when we started to complain at 7:30. All of my 200 guests were waiting outside in the lobby for the doors to be open. They didn't open the doors until 8:00 (30 minutes late). Because they ran late, they only gave my DJ and wedding cake decorator 30 minutes to do what they needed when they were originally told them would have an hour. The head coordinator was very rude and was trying to make it up by giving us a bottle of champagne. My reception started 45 minutes late which made a lot of my guests unable to have cake because it got so late. When trying to talk to the head coordinator, she was very rude and frankly threw people who were no longer employed there under the bus by blaming them. I will not have another event there and highly suggest people use caution when using them.
