Marry & Tux was the second bridal shop we visited, and after a less-than-ideal experience at the first shop, I had high hopes since my oldest daughter had found her dress here years ago. From the moment Kasey greeted us with her warm smile, I knew we were in great hands. Kasey was so easy to talk to and took the time to ask thoughtful questions to really understand what my daughter was looking for. She was incredibly patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping my daughter feel confident and comfortable. When my daughter spotted a dress on display, Kasey was happy to take it down and let her try it on. She also suggested some accessories that completely elevated the look and made the dress exactly what my daughter envisioned. The entire day was filled with laughter, and we felt so relaxed and at ease with no pressure whatsoever. Thanks to Kasey’s expertise and attentiveness, my daughter found the wedding dress of her dreams! Not only that, but Kasey ensured the dress would arrive in plenty of time—it was delivered in just over a week! , Shaylin was amazing. She did not pressure me into anything, but somehow knew what I wanted more than I did. She was the one that picked out the dress I ended up choosing. I am incredibly grateful for Shaylin and Marry and Tux!

ding that is now in 2 days. The woman who helped me seemed great. I found “the dress” but it felt very tight in the stomach area, she told me it’s because it has boning in it. The arms/sleeves were incredibly tight, but she said that could easily be fixed by adding a gusset. She said I’d need minimal and simple alterations done to the dress. Fast forward to the day of picking up the dress. I try it on, and again it felt tight but I believed her in that’s just the way it is. She had to use bungee cords and clips to zip me. I asked if it will be tough to get on the day of. Her response “it’ll take 3 people but you’ll be ok” so I believed her, the professional. My receipt said “sample size fits well.” Abain, not knowing how a wedding dress should feel, I trusted their expertise. Fast forward to bringing the dress for alterations. The alteration woman explained they ordered my dress TWO SIZES TOO SMALL, she explained she will need to take out AT LEAST two inches of the waist, along with a bunch of other things that I honestly don’t even remember. She said if I went to sit in the dress, the zipper would bust open. Let’s also add that I didn’t gain weight, I’ve lost! This seamstress/tailor basically had to reconstruct my entire dress, when it all could have been avoided by them ordering a larger size that actually fit. Last week I had my final fitting after the alterations and omg am I shocked! My dress fits INCREDIBLE and I feel like I can breathe and move in it. I’ve been trying to let this slide because I don’t want to bash a business, but something needs to be said. I am beyond furious but also beyond thankful I found a seamstress who was able to make the dress work! Here are some before and after pics. The before is the day I tried on the dress. The after is the final alteration fitting. The top two are before, and the bottom two are after

fitting brides. When my dress arrived, however, I was SWIMMING in it, it didn't fit me anywhere on my body. I paid for a custom hem as I'm only 5'2", and the dress still would have needed to be taken up 6-8 inches (losing intricate detailing on the bottom). The bust must have been 3 or so cup sizes too large. I had to stand on the pedestal, have the dress completely clipped, and one of the large pillows stuffed in my back for what should have been my actual dress. They initially tried to blame it on my body and said they ordered based on my bust, which made no sense because the bust was so massive. They told me that a seamstress would be able to solve it, but the seamstress said (and I quote), "I can't perform miracles." This made it so I had to get a new dress and because of the mishap, I couldn't get my original dress anymore. I had to pick out an entirely new dress, and lo and behold, this dress was MULTIPLE sizes smaller than the original (and it fit). There were a few small silver linings: 1. They refunded us the original dress so we weren't out the money for multiple dresses. 2. The manager who we worked with after the other manager blamed my body was very kind. 3. They claimed they're changing how they measure brides because of how wrong mine were. 4. I ended up loving my second dress so much more than my original pick. Overall, though, I can't comfortably recommend them to other couples. They also made a few mistakes in regards to the suits (they confirmed the appointment for fittings then claimed they had no record when the guys arrived, a few were measured incorrectly, and one of the return options they gave us was for before the actual wedding and it left us with one small window to return the rentals).

Kylie put me right at ease when we arrived and she took me through the dresses before we began. I tried on several and just had an idea that one particular dress would be exactly what I was looking for. I tried that dress on last and it was absolutely perfect. I could not believe I found "the dress" at the first shop and was so happy when we left with it in hand. I highly recommend this shop as they worked with you to find the perfect dress and make you feel at ease when trying them on.
