think a wedding planner was a “nice to have,” but I quickly realized how essential it was—especially since we were taking on a lot of DIY projects and hadn’t anticipated how many decisions and logistics would pop up along the way. We truly had no idea what we were doing (as it should be—you only plan to do this once!), but Laura brought the perfect mix of expertise, calm, and fun to every step. Whether it was figuring out our processional order, designing our seating chart, navigating tricky family dynamics, or suggesting sweet touches like ordering pizza for the wedding party, she had our backs at every turn. On the big day, I didn’t worry about a single logistical thing. Laura kept everything running smoothly, handled all the vendor coordination, and managed challenging conversations—especially with my mom, which had been a big source of stress. She allowed me to be fully present and just enjoy the day. To top it all off, the Marrryment podcast is amazing—it’s packed with super helpful planning tips and truly joyful to listen to. I couldn’t recommend Laura and her team more. She made our day more beautiful and stress-free than I ever imagined—and this experience even brought us closer as friends. Total win.

a every SINGLE time. My fiancé and I don’t live in Chicago or even in Illinois, we did a sort of “destination wedding” since we have family up there. We HAD to have a coordinator - there’s no way we could have planned a wedding from out of state. We decided that a full service wedding coordinator was the best option for us and it was worth every last penny! When we started our coordinator search we were overwhelmed and very discouraged by some of the not-so-kind meetings we had. I had my heart set on Laura because of ONE sentence: I asked, “so what happens if you’re going to be coming around 10am on my wedding day and hair and makeup just doesn’t show up but they were supposed to be here at 8am?” She kind of laughed a little and her reply was, “well I’m going to know about that before you do.” That was exactly the kind of person I dreamed about, the person that will literally take care of any problem before it reaches my ears and I enjoy the day in bliss. Let me tell you guys and girls - she was true to her word!!!!! Laura is so dependable, kind, hardworking, and professional. I was told repeatedly by other coordinators that I wouldn’t be able to make my inspo come to life because of the budget we had (which was not small fyi). Laura never made me feel like I couldn’t have or do anything, she bent over backwards and jumped through hoops to get exactly what I wanted and found loopholes to get things for a deal - we saved SO MUCH! It’s a month after my wedding and I’m still in awe of how it all went exactly like I dreamed. All of this to say - this is your sign that YES its worth it! You will get the wedding you have dreamed about from your inspo photos with Laura’s help AND she gives you the gift of enjoying the ride!
