I was the maid of honor for a wedding that Marion created the seating chart, florals, and provided day of coordination. We had an extremely poor experience with Marion and there were several major issues with the services provided.
1. She was 3 hours late on the day of the wedding, sending an assistant to bring the florals and seating chart. She claimed that traffic took her 3 hours, but since she was late by 3 hours that means she left her office at the time that she was already supposed to be on-site. She did not offer a refund for these 3 hours of coordination services despite her contract stating 12 hours.
2. The seating chart that she was originally contracted to provide was not completed. She spent the entire Cocktail Hour printing the names for the chart on her Cricut, and guests had to jump in to try to have this done in time for the reception. The lettering was crooked, the record player that was meant to go in the center was never mounted, and the table cards were not completed. Because of this, the reception was pushed back by about 45 minutes. She was given two months to complete this chart and initially provided a 43% refund, and then provided an additional $500 after we pointed out that this was not a “majority refund” like she had promised.
3. The florals arrived in poor condition, with the boutonnieres completely wilted and several of the bridesmaids’ bouquets having broken stems. She refused to provide an itemized invoice or documentation of the cost of materials, and refused to provide a refund for the florals that were not used for the ceremony due to their condition.
She did not accept accountability for any of the mistakes, claiming every external factor from “her first-time assistant didn’t understand wedding timelines”, “the hotel staff didn’t help”, “there was unexpected traffic”, and “there were weather and instability issues with the sign”. The wedding was held at the Westin Carlsbad in San Diego, where the ground is completely paved and there was a light breeze the day of the wedding. The wedding party and several guests had to jump in to take the centerpiece florals out of Home Depot buckets in the hallway to put them out on the tables, try to complete the seating chart during the Cocktail Hour, place the table numbers and name cards, guide other guests to their tables, and manage the emcee to follow the reception schedule while Marion sat outside on her phone.
Despite all these mistakes, she did not reach out to the bride with any sort of apology or offer of a refund. The bride reached out over 1 week following the wedding and Marion only offered the above excuses and a partial refund for the seating chart. She was given several opportunities to rectify the situation and her unwillingness to do so was extremely disappointing. Marion’s services were the worst imaginable for any bride, only adding immense stress to such an important day.

Marion served as my day-of coordinator for my wedding, and I couldn't be happier. She and her team were the epitome of professionalism, with excellent communication.
Marion's creativity was a standout. Not only did she bring my vision to life, but she also suggested cost-effective ideas, helping me stay within budget. She also assisted in sourcing decoration rentals and prints, making the process stress-free.

Out of all the wedding planning, Marion by far was the most accommodating and easiest to communicate with. I had over 200+ guests on my list and I had to change the table seating chart so many times. With all the changes, she was soooo patient and understanding with the whole process. She truly understands the stress that goes behind wedding planning so she does whatever she can to help alleviate that stress. I highly recommend her and all the work she does, she puts her all into it to ensure that everybody is happy at the end of the day. Love her work and love her business mentality! Marion was great! She is very quick with her responses to emails. Very easy to get in touch with. She is very organized and personable. She made me feel very comfortable to work with her. I trusted her fully with keeping us on point with our itinerary. She made sure when we got to the reception, that we did everything that I wanted to (ie- marriage license signing and photos of that, cake cutting, garter toss, speeches, etc). Everything we did was on time with the itinerary. She made sure everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend her!!! :)

My photographer called my wedding the “mission impossible wedding” jokingly because we had over 300 guests, 12 people on our bridal party and over 200 family members within the guest count. Our wedding was on a tight schedule and as a couple we wanted to shorten our cocktail hour as much as possible so we could have our guests eat dinner on time. With all of these multiple requests, Marion from Mars Productions pulled it off and helped make sure all the details were in place. She made the impossible possible and we look on that day with much joy and gratitude. Thank you Mars Productions for making our special day stress-free.
