All the vendors we ended up choosing had worked with Mary Fencl events in some capacity before and loved them, which was so nice to hear and reinforced that we had made the right choice in choosing them. From help picking place settings, to using their decorations for the day of, Janelle was great at making sure our wedding looked beautiful when we didn’t really have a clear vision for what we wanted. And on the day of the wedding, she and her staff were super attentive and available to any of our needs. However, after meeting with Mary and hearing her excitement and vision for my wedding, I was sold! I knew I wanted her as my coordinator, and she didn't disappoint. She gave my mom and me so much time in our meetings and was never bothered or stressed, putting us at ease knowing we definitely chose the right coordinator. She helped plan our timeline and coordinated with all of our vendors and even referred us to someone who did our seating chart and place cards in beautiful calligraphy – at a very reasonable price. On the day of, one of the guests broke our champagne flutes, and Mary had them replaced with the venue’s flutes ready for our cake cutting. She even went up to my room during the reception and got sandals for me to wear for the rest of the night. My wedding day had zero stress involved and is still a day all of my friends and parents’ friends talk about as “one of the most amazing weddings they have ever attended.” This is all because of Mary. I had no idea where to begin with the wedding planning process, and Mary put it all together. I honestly believe none of it would have been possible without her.

She was all over the place and kept asking me questions the day of my wedding. Many interruptions while I was getting ready and confusing all of our groomsman with misinformation. It ended up causing me more stress and more work the month of and the day of our wedding. If Mary would of been charge it would of gone smoothly and beautifully no doubt about that. But unfortunlty it did not go smoothly nor was it stress free.

My wedding dress got ruined by an alterations lady 3 weeks before the wedding, and within 24 hours she had a plan in place to fix it, and it looked perfect! Every vendor she recommended was amazing as well, and they all spoke of how they love working with her. The day went so smoothly, that even the limo driver mentioned that he had never seen a wedding run so well and asked me for Mary's info to recommend to his own clients! If you need a planner, this is a no brainer. My parents repeatedly mentioned how she was worth every penny. She also is the most reasonably priced planner out there, and works hard to stay within your budget! She is an angel. :)

We wanted to make personalized dinner tickets (we had a food truck at our reception) – and when I ran out of time, she made them herself and they were SO much better and cuter than anything I could have come up with. I had wedding guests coming up to me telling me how AMAZING Mary was! She is super organized, very positive (which is definitely needed when it rains on your wedding day! Haha), and very experienced. It was so helpful having her input leading up to the wedding as well. Mary made our wedding go off without a hitch! Even with it raining all day, she made it special for us by collecting rain water in a little jar for us to keep. That was so special. I would definitely recommend Mary to anyone who needed a wedding coordinator!!!

As a testament to how great she really is, the tables and decorations were better than I could have ever expected. Everything was beautiful, in its proper place and reflected my vision perfectly. In retrospect, I can easily say that had I hired her full-time I would have saved some money and prevented several headaches.

Throughout the reception, Mary made sure that my husband and I were fed, pulled me away from conversations when I needed to be somewhere else, organized all vendor participation, kept everyone to our timeline, and even ensured that certain special photographs were taken (some of my favorite photos were Mary's idea and we wouldn't have them if she hadn't suggested we step away to take them). I cannot emphasize enough the weight lifted just by having Mary help! She is so wonderful at her job, and I am forever thankful to her and her mother for the perfect wedding day.

My family and I were extremely impressed with her ability to keep everything organized and rework our entire reception schedule when the wedding was delayed several hours. Despite the wedding delay she was still able to make sure that we were able to do everything at the reception that I wanted to do. Besides Mary saving the day on our actual wedding day, she was wonderful to work with while planning the wedding also. She is full of great, creative and original ideas for how to make the wedding and reception just over the top perfect. My mom and I were able to tell Mary what we were envisioning for the reception and she made it all look perfect! I could not have picked a more perfect wedding planner to use, Mary was just awesome and deserves a lot of credit for making our wedding day as wonderful as it was.
