ceived our sneak peaks in a reasonable manner and knew that every cent was worth what Matt does. We got our full photo album of over 1500 photos 6 months after our wedding, I know some may think that’s “too long” however it was absolutely worth the wait. It rehashed our feelings of the day all over again. Shortly after we received our highlight reel and our final video, which to our surprise was an hour long! We watched it together with family and friends & it made us all wish we could live the day over and over again. I am so grateful I chose to go with Matt, your wedding photos are such an important part of your day, and Matt makes sure to go above and beyond to deliver. Thank you again Matt!!

o getting our full wedding video to us within 6 months after our wedding. He never had us officially sign the contract with him, which should have been a red flag. He was also a bit difficult to get in touch with during the wedding planning process, but was not horrible so we just kept going with the flow. On our wedding day, he was great to work with and everything seemed to run very smoothly. He returned the highlight video to us promptly while we awaited the full video. In the meantime, we noticed that some of the live stream was discolored as people watched our ceremony. I’m not too picky, so I didn’t care too much since the problem was corrected in the next frame. After a few months, he requested that we send him the songs we wanted tied to the video. To be fair, we thought we had sent that to him and that we were waiting on him for the video, but I realized a few months after that that I had never actually pressed the send button on the email. After he received the songs, we waited patiently for the full video. Around the time of our first anniversary, we still did not have our completed video, so I began reaching out to Matt more often. I called, texted, and emailed, only to be met with silence. At one point, I did not receive a response from him confirming that he even received our songs to add to the video for about 6 months straight. We still had yet to receive our full wedding video. I had my husband call to put the pressure on him a few months after our anniversary and then Matt quickly emailed us the full video - however, it had no music tied to it with much time of silence. When I responded saying that the music wasn’t added, he ghosted us for another several months. He finally responded in March 2023 saying he would get the full video with the music tied to it that night to me. We received nothing. I consistently texted, called, and emailed him in hopes of receiving the completed video to watch with my husband for our 2nd anniversary, to which I received no response as well. A week after our 2nd anniversary, he finally responded saying he would get the video to us that night. Again, no video and no response from Matt for another month. It wasn’t until 26 months after our wedding that I sent him a firm message explaining how upset we were that he immediately responded within one minute with the completed video with some of our music picked out for it. It seems that he had been holding onto it and could’ve sent it to us much sooner, but did not care enough to do so. The finished video is not what we had hoped for, but at least we have a full video that is not silent, and the videography itself is nice. So, while Matt did a decent job with the videography itself, he was very difficult to communicate with and did not follow through with his promises. We were very disappointed that it took so long to get the finished video and that it wasn’t what we hoped for, but we figured that it wasn’t a communication battle worth fighting to have him try to tweak it more. Ultimately, we would not recommend him to anyone who hopes to receive their videos back within a timely manner or communicate with him more than a few times in the planning process and after the event.

focus on the positivity of the day. But after teetering on writing this for a while, I now feel like I have to post it to warn other couples. I hired matt in may of 2021 for my October 2022 wedding. He was responsive and pleasant when I first booked. He sent the contract immediately and I paid the deposit. I reach out about a year after, in May 2022 to make sure there was nothing else I needed to do and he said I was good to go still. We scheduled a call for September 2022 to go over final details for my wedding. The call was great and I was excited to work with him. This is when everything went south. The day after our call he messaged me informing me there was a conflict with bookings and he could no longer make the video but would be sending someone else. This bummed me because it was not what we agreed on and it was so last minute. I booked super far in advance to have him specifically and to have him jump ship so last minute made no sense. When he asked if it was okay with me I responded that I would really prefer to still have him. He ignored that and continued to just tell me he was bummed too. I ended up hiring someone else and thank GOD I did. Matt ensured he would give us our deposit back, and I have yet to get it back. I have sent him messages across many platforms and just finally heard back asking what my Venmo was but then nothing after that. After reading other reviews I am so thankful I went with my gut to not worth with him. He was so unprofessional and I am still trying to figure out how to get my money back. -update, he gave it back after this review was posted! 🙏🏻 The company I ended up going with is Black Horse Videography and I can’t recommend them enough. They were SO amazing. The owner Alex is so professional and a stellar example of what a Videography company should be like. I am so pleased with my work. Black Horse was such a blessing in disguise. Future brides reading this, don’t book with Matt!! Not worth the stress and flakiness at all. I 1000% recommend Black Horse  instead!

was aware, and confirmed, our final date in 2022. I reached out multiple times to let him know of the details, and he did not respond. I received a call from him the week before the wedding, I was working, so I did not answer but called back later and let him know the details. I never received a call back. The day of the wedding, I also texted him the details, and asked him to “like” the message if he was showing up. He did not like the message, and he did not show up. We called multiple times, from multiple numbers. We did not get any sort of apology, and still have yet to receive the deposit. I would have loved to know that he was not able to come if that was the case, so I could have hired someone else to capture our LONG AWAITED day. It was completely unprofessional, and I am devastated about not having a wedding video. Do not hire him. He is unreliable, and will not make up for his mistakes.

nsive when I reached out to him and explained my interest in filming my wedding. We discussed some drone footage, having two videographers and pricing. He was extremely flexible when I had to postpone my wedding a year due to Covid. On the day of the wedding I found out he wasn’t going to be doing the video as I had expected. He was going to be sending two people that worked for him. All seemed to be fine and they both showed up and were pleasant. My wedding was on June 26, 2021 and I received the highlight reel on November 8th. As per the contract, I thought it would have been a little bit quicker but I totally understood because I really liked the highlight reel! I looked back in the contract and it said most of the FINAL videos are done within six months but in absolute extreme cases could take up to one year but never more than a year. If it was anything near the quality of the highlight reel it would be perfection! Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. 😢 Starting a couple months after the highlight reel I was interested in a timeline. I was told that it would get done. We discussed a handful of songs I would like to see in it. This is when communication really took a turn. Over the next few months after that point and beginning to come up on the one-year mark I needed to reach out by cell phone, email, social media and WeddingWire. Completely GHOSTED. It is truly an awful feeling. It was not until I posted publicly on social media wondering if he was ok that I received a response on WeddingWire. I was reassured that my footage was fine and that it would be done in a couple weeks. Not a good feeling to be ignored but once again I assumed if the quality of the product was there I could look past it. Fast forward to one year later (June 25, 2022) still without the final video, I reach out and ask when it will be done. I get a response the next day with the final video. I don’t know if he rushed to get it done to meet the one-year deadline, was sick of lack of communication with me or just did not care at that point but my husband and I were VERY disappointed in the final product. I reached out to Matt on Wedding wire (The only way he responded to me at all recently) on July 20th, 2022 in hopes to have the final video edited (I hoped at least if he had more footage some editing could be done) and told myself I would wait one week. Surely I would get a general response by then. If I did not get a response (like many times previously) I would post how I honestly feel in hopes to save somebody from working with this company. You can assume the outcome because I’m posting this honest review. I would be open to sharing the final video with anybody interested and you can see the quality discrepancies between that and the highlight reel. This entire experience has been disheartening.

ed him THREE times over email, phone call voicemail left, and facebook messaged him over the span of SIX MONTHS all with NO responses. We finally got fed up trying to contact him and emailed him telling him we wanted to cancel him and wanted our deposit money back and FINALLY he answered 3 days later after I already contacted my credit card company to attempt to fight to get a $625 deposit back. His response to wanting to cancel was short and his excuse for no response to multiple attempts of trying get into contact with him was "he had a number of personal and professional challenges." In our opinion that is absolutely NO excuse not to answer a future bride and groom who are COUNTING on him to film our wedding. We are so upset. He asked how we wanted our money back which is good but we are still waiting for him to follow through and refund us. Thankfully Chase Credit Card company is hounding him. BUT STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!! We are so mad.

e you for how fast your wedding day goes and how difficult it is to get enough time to organize your family and friends to capture all the memories you want. Matt made this process so easy. He honestly was so helpful. During cocktail hour he helped gather the right people for shots with our photographers- ABOVE and beyond. Matt was polite to “steal” us away at just the right times to get some amazing golden hour and end of night footage. We cannot say enough about how lovely it was to work with him. If you’re on the fence to hire a videographer, this is your sign - Matt is the best!

right photographer for us! Matt's photo ideas were just as fun and crazy as some of mine and I couldn't be more thankful that we had him! He was up for anything when it came to getting fun shots. Him and his team did not hesitate to make our day perfect. Because of them, our whole day ran smoothly. He made sure to keep is on track with time and to get pictures in the right lighting. He even arrived to our wedding with confetti bombs and sparklers as a special little wedding treat. We felt so comfortable having Matt and his team around for the entire day capturing some of the most precious moments of our perfect day. I seriously couldn't thank them enough for some of the shots we've already gotten. We just cannot wait to see more!

we got our full wedding video! Seeing Matt’s work, I knew he would capture our day in a beautiful way. That is an understatement. Our wedding video blows me away. It is stunning! Watching it brings me right back to our wedding day. You can feel the love through the video and see all the fun that we had! That was so important to me. We love the drone shots and the candid video clips. Matt was so easy to work with! He made everyone feel so comfortable, he made sure he always had the best shot with angles and lighting, he showed up on time and made sure he recorded everything! I had a few surprises for my husband and I made sure Matt knew beforehand, and he captured everything perfectly! We love having this all on video to look back on. It really is perfect. I highly recommend Matt’s Next Level Media! You will love them!

was recommended by my photographer and I am very grateful for that. When we receive the first copy of our video, there was an error with it. I emailed him immediately and he sent out a corrected copy the next day. The final product was stunning! You would be very lucky to have Matt capture your special day!

Matt can put himself in your shoes and understands what you are looking to accomplish with the video. In our case, the majority of my relatives were overseas and unable to attend our wedding, and this video would be the only connection they would have to our day. Matt took the time to capture the details of the night, from the dress, décor, cake, and the guests present. Memories were truly captured at 100% and we have heard nothing but positive remarks from the family who has had a moment to see the footage. When it comes to the final product, we were blown away. The flow of the video is incredible and the 1hr 40mins encompasses everything we wanted. A lot of emotion captured as Matt would always be at the right place at the right time. We had a remembrance candle near the alter which would be lit before the ceremony. The meaning behind this was that we lost a family member to cancer a few months prior and the bride's grandfather a week before. Matt got the shot on camera without being intrusive of such a meaningful moment. The video is not simply entrance, vows, exit as many small details (such as the candle) that made our night unique are included in the video. You will not be disappointed!
