Honestly, I can’t quite put into words how amazing this company is. They are so creative, so hard working, so sweet, and just all together really the best group of girls! I had the best most magical wedding in Maui because of all of their hard work, and I feel so lucky to have worked with them! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a wedding planner in Maui!

Andrea and Shouren got married on Jan 6, 2019 at the beautiful Maukalani Estate in Lahaina. Maui Angels were recommended to us by our friends who were very happy with their services last fall. Ali Thorstad took up the challenge of organizing and managing our event that included a Vedic-Hindu Wedding ceremony, a first for the Wedding Planners. We live in Canada, thousands of miles away from the venue, hence we did not know what to expect. Everything from the selection of the Hindu Priest, to the set-up of the venue including the Canopy (mandap), selection of the special wedding garlands and other flower arrangements, was superbly done. The appetizers, meals and the dessert selections were greatly appreciated by all our guests. DJ ‘s contributions, the transportation arrangements and the spectacular venue added to our enjoyment. With the perfect Weather, it turned out to be a magical day that all of us will remember for a very long time. Thanks to Ali, and her Maui Angels team and her Venders- we Highly Recommend!

Ali and Lori from Maui's Angels were AMAZING!! We found them while looking for wedding planners to help with our special day on Maui. We did interview several different planners but seriously over the moon that we decided on Maui's Angels. We cannot imagine our special day turning out as perfect as it was if not for Ali's attention to detail. They had everything set up beautifully, provided wonderful recommendations and really knew all the vendors extremely well. We cannot begin to express in words how much we appreciate them.

It hard to believe it has already been a year and a half since our big day! Words cannot express enough how grateful I am for Lorrie and the Maui's Angels team for making the wedding of our dreams come true! It can be a little intimidating to plan a destination wedding 5,000 miles away, but after hours of research and reading review after review we decided that Maui's Angels were (and still are!) the best in the business. Lorrie and her team were so helpful from start to finish, listening to our vision and turning it into reality. Every question was answered promptly (even with a 6 hour time difference!) and the venders and venue went above and beyond what we could have imagined! Not a single detail was forgotten and our wedding was absolutely amazing! I wish I could give more stars for Lorrie and her team! As a bride that is not a planner- as you can tell by my late review, I cannot express enough gratitude and praise for Maui's Angels Destination Wedding and Events! Mahalo ladies you are the best!

Ali & Lorrie are THE BEST! I seriously cannot even begin to describe how amazing the whole planning process was with them. They truly made our dream wedding come true. I was ready for added stress with planning a destination wedding, and I can honestly say they made the experience as stress free as possible, and fun! These two lovely ladies made sure to go above and beyond to make every step of the process enjoyable. The few meetings we had on island pre wedding week were so fun! Not only did they make me feel comfortable, but they also made my husband excited about the planning process as well. He would look forward to getting the weekly phone calls from them! They handle everything so professionally, and made sure we did not have to sweat about any detail of the wedding weekend. I had planned a surprise for my husband by hiring the band who sang our first dance song, and they cancelled THE DAY BEFORE the wedding. Ali & Lorrie were so quick to handle the situation and get an even better replacement band that I did not even have time to stress about it! You can tell these ladies truly put their heart and soul into what they do. They helped us create the most magical wedding that we wish we could go back to over and over again!

Ali was absolutely amazing to work with. Our wedding at Olowalu Plantation House last November was more than we could have ever dreamed! Ali brought every single detail we had in our heads, from Pinterest, and more, intricately together into THE dream wedding. We contacted her about 14 months before the wedding and she helped us every step of the way. Every vendor she recommended was the best of the best on the island. She coordinated the entire day and made sure everything was on time, which even allowed us to have some mingle time with guests during cocktail hour. Words can’t describe how grateful we are for everything! We have previously never been to Maui before and she even gave recommendations for other things to do. I would highly recommend Ali and her team for any couple looking to have a destination wedding in Maui. I PROMISE you will have the best day of your life!

I have been thinking for a week or so what I would write in this review that could even begin to describe how amazing Maui's Angels was. Ali and her team were such a pleasure to work with. I had a hard time articulating my vision but Ali was able to perfectly execute everything and create the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. If you are debating between different wedding planners let me save you the trouble and just tell you right now it doesn't get better than Maui's Angels. The entire wedding went so smoothly and the attention to detail was beyond anything I could ever imagine. To give you an idea before I walked down the aisle her assistant made sure there was no lipstick on me teeth (which there was) and she removed it for me with a napkin. I'm not only sad the wedding is over but also sad that I no longer get to design a wedding with Ali. She has such an amazing reputation with the top vendors in Hawaii and its no surprise that they love working with her as well! As a non-resident of Hawaii I can't be there to see every detail and eventually I just decided I would trust Ali with everything. Hiring Maui's Angels was the best decision we made during the wedding process. I can't wait to visit the team during our one year anniversary trip next October just so I can thank them in person again!

Ali and the team at Maui's Angels were amazing. We couldn't be happier with the way our wedding went. Ali did an amazing job organising our perfect day and had all the fine details under control even though we are from Australia She was with us from the start to the end of the night and made sure everything was running smoothly and making the day as stress free as possible for us. We have had so many compliments from guests letting us know that it was the best wedding that they have been to! A year ago when we started the process of planning our Maui destination wedding from the Seattle area, we knew we had to find someone who was on top of their game. Maui's Angels was our top choice, without any regrets at all. Their personality, style and flair were things we (the wifey) were aiming for and we wouldn't have done it any other way. We loved working with our planner Ali, who basically is the quarterback of the whole operation! The process from start to finish was incredibly detailed, organized and coordinated. Everything was communicated via phone calls and emails (Ali would stay late [so sorry!] to accommodate the time zone difference and our busy work schedules): timelines, start and due dates, vendor selections, reminders, etc. Looking back I think the process was made so simple with the least amount stress as possible, with her passion and dedication. Overall the process was made fun and enjoyable which we loved. No wedding details were left unaccounted for from the planning process (even things like recommendations for suit selection for my guys spread out between NY, Cleveland, Austin) to coordinating ceremony and reception times with the sunset. Of course being a typical guy I underestimated the amount of details that could go into designing flower arrangements, table linens etc. When you work with MA, you get to work with their recommended list of reputable vendors who all come together in the end as a great team. This was our first time going to Maui as well and coordinating our 65 guests was difficult as expected, but Ali was always available to answer any logistics questions we had, no matter how insignificant or naive they sounded. I joked with wifey multiple times, I had so much trust in them that I could've just presented them pictures of what we wanted, left the layout process up to them and showed up the day of to be surprised at the ceremony/reception. Thank you Ali and Maui's Angels for all your hard work in making our vision come true on our special day!

We really enjoyed working with Ali, Bre and Lori! For 10 months, we worked with Ali for our wedding at Merriman's. From California, we interacted with Ali via emails, phone calls, video calls. We appreciate the following about Ali: - Experienced: She has planned countless weddings and therefore knows what does and does not work. She gave us great recommendations on things like who to have emcee, favors, where to have our hula show, etc. - Positive: Interacting with someone who is positive makes all the difference to get through the challenge of planning a wedding (remotely!) while life and work charge on. Ali always was optimistic when handling our various questions and requests. - Patient: Ali was very patient with us as we took time to decide on various vendors and other decision points. We never felt pressured or rushed when making the hundreds of decisions that go into the planning process. - Flexible: As my wife and I both work in the tech industry, we had our preferred way of tracking things in spreadsheets and documents. Ali accommodated these preferences graciously. Beyond the planning phase, these characteristics were also on full display during the execution (i.e. week-of and day-of) phase. For example, there were a few surprises that our family members planned at the last minute in coordination with Ali, unbeknownst to us. She handled these extra touchpoints expertly! She also ensured the timeline was adhered to and took great care of us. Overall, she truly brought to life what we had discussed during the planning phase. Maui's Angels is a top notch company - expert in both the creative and operational aspects of a wedding. We'd highly recommend working with them to plan and execute your dream wedding.

Ali from Maui’s Angels was absolutely amazing! She was so professional, and took care of every little detail or issue that came up. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to make our day and experience any better! I’ve already passed her info on to a couple of my customers as well. If you have the please of working with her you won’t regret it!!

Wow! I don’t even know where to start. When I first told family and friends that I was going to plan my wedding in Hawaii from Australia, they thought I was crazy. As weddings are stressful even when planning down the road. My experience couldn’t be further from this. From the minute I got in contact with Lorrie and the girls from Maui’s angels, I knew they were going to be the perfect fit. They were so quick to get in contact with me and I knew from our very first email and phone call that I didn’t have to look any further. Lorrie is just amazing! She was so wonderful with making sure that the whole process was focused on celebrating our love and stress free. Like all brides, I had moments where I would wake up in the middle of the night with questions, and I would send 50 emails and realise In the morning that they were probably completely unnecessary... but Lorrie being the angel she is would reply to every single question I had. I was not great with explaining my vision so we created a storyboard with pictures so the girls could see what I loved. I never in a millions years thought that I’d get my fairytale and more. Out wedding day was planned to perfection from the minute we woke up till the minute we went to bed. The day was so relaxing and stress free.. I even got to sunbake until just before lunch ahhaha not many brides can say that. Little details were added to ensure the day was all about our love and unique to us. All the vendors that Lorrie put us in contact with were so professional and also responded very quickly to any questions We had. Lorrie and her fabulous team felt like family and Excecuted the day to perfection and were genuinely so happy to be celebrating our day with us. So many people say they would only plan one wedding..... Me... I would do it all over again (with the girls from Maui’s angels). It was just such an incredible experience. I recommmend anyone getting married to contact Maui’s angels... an unbelievable group of people ready to make your dream day come true. I would be happy for anyone to contact me via my social media if it means allowing other couples to experience a wedding day as amazing as ours. Maui’s Angels helped my wife and I (if I’m being honest, mostly my wife) plan a 32-person wedding in April of this year. I was initially against using a wedding planner – despite the fact that we are located 2,500 miles away in California, and I had only visited Maui on two prior occasions. I’m writing this review so you future grooms out there don’t make the mistake I almost made. From the wedding planning, to the rehearsal, to the wedding day, Ali and Bre thought of everything and truly made our day magical. Having Maui’s Angel’s assisting us leading up to the wedding enabled my wife and I to get information on a variety of vendors as opposed to flying blind. Ali was able to provide first-hand recommendations for a floral designer, calligrapher, and musician that all far exceeded my expectations. Our venue had very specific rules as to “approved” vendors and Ali was able to provide guidance as to how to best handle that while still getting to have everything my wife and I wanted at the venue. We were also able to ship items such as welcome bags (which Ali and Bre assembled), our guest book, and other miscellaneous items to Maui’s Angels in advance our wedding knowing they would be safe leading up to the wedding day. Moving on to the wedding day, we showed up at the venue and I was blown away at how perfectly everything was put together. Ali coordinated with at least eight vendors to put together the most beautiful table setting that was exactly what my wife was looking for. Ali was a pro getting the guests situated and making sure everyone was taken care of in advance of the ceremony. During the ceremony she timed everything perfectly and even got the ring bearer and flower girl to make it down the aisle without distraction. After saying our vows my wife and I went to take some pictures on the rocks down by the ocean. Bre helped my wife with her dress and with her hair during all the pictures – and was jumping from rock to rock in heels like a pro – which was far more than anyone could have asked for. Long story short, Ali and Bre were absolutely amazing, and I don’t know how we could have done it without their help.

Ali and the whole team at Maui’s Angels are truly amazing! They made my dream wedding come true. We contacted Maui’s Angels 18 months before our wedding and initially was just interested in a quote. When we first spoke with Ali, she listened to our expectations and wants for the wedding and within a few hours, she sent me an email with an estimated quote and a vision board. I didn’t feel pressured and I liked how quick she was, and that’s why I chose Maui’s Angel as our event planner. Throughout the planning, Ali was on top of everything and she was always quick with her response when I had questions. She’s really good at designs and her attention to detail was very on point. She put me at ease many times during the planning process when I became bridezilla and was worried about the certain aspects of the wedding. Ali gave me honest opinions and recommendations, while keeping everything within budget. Our wedding day was just amazing. With Ali’s input and my vision, our wedding turned out to be more beautiful than I expected. I remember gazing at our the venue an hour before I walked down the aisle, and all I said was, “Wow.” I was speechless and very very happy. Everything that day flowed smoothly and Ali was always there when we had questions or needed a drink, so that put us at ease. 😝 The layout of our wedding, the designs and details, and the venue itself was beautiful and perfect altogether, and we were so happy that everything we dreamt of came true. We can’t thank Ali and Maui’s Angels enough for their help. It was truly a dream wedding and I wish I can go back to relive that special day. So to those who are planning a wedding, I highly recommend Maui’s Angels as an event planner. They know what they’re doing and they can execute your dream wedding while sticking to your budget. Til this day, all of our guests still rave that we had the most beautiful and perfect wedding they’ve been to because they loved the details and intimacy of the wedding. Thanks Ali and team! Maui's Angels was the first wedding planner portfolio that caught our eye, not simply due to the the beautiful photographs, but also the fact that each wedding felt genuinely unique to each couple. After comparing many different vendors and quotes, we decided to go with our gut instinct and select Maui's Angels. We couldn't be happier with our decision! Anyone who knows me can attest to the fact I am very Type A - the ultra-organized / perfectionist type that is never satisfied. Throughout the year-long planning process, Ali answered all of my emails (sometimes 2-5 emails a day as the wedding drew closer!) promptly, thoroughly, as well as graciously - never making me feel like any detail was too small or insignificant - whether it was the exact shade of burnt coral or how I preferred napkins to be folded. Even then, you never know until the day of how it will all comes together. I had mentally prepared myself to 'let go' of anything that didn't go to plan, but our wedding actually exceeded my wildest expectations! It turned out absolutely stunning, perfectly cohesive, and truly the best day ever. I can't thank the amazing ladies of Maui's Angels - Ali, Lorrie, and Bri - enough for the meticulous care and effort they poured into our wedding.

Ali and her crew did an awesome job! If we ever decided to get married in Maui again.... =) Our event was at Olowalu Plantation House. We really appreciated the scheduled check-ins as far as vendors, menu decisions that needed to be made, etc. She made it super easy to have a destination wedding. Each of her vendor recommendations did a great job and everything went without a hitch. As the big day got closer, all the final details got addressed, and she made the whole process so much easier. All we really did was show up on the big day, and she did the rest. She allowed us to be as involved as we wanted, and we left the rest in her hands. Id recommend her to anyone looking to do a wedding.

Ali, Lorrie, and the rest of the Maui's Angels are simply a dream team. We instantly clicked with Ali during our first phone conversation, and she was absolutely wonderful to work with, starting from the early planning stages, all the way until the busy days right before the wedding. No matter how many other events Ali was working on, she always made time to answer our (many!) questions along the way. She has a great eye for design, and never steered us wrong, whether it came to table napkins or videographers. Thanks to Ali and her team's hard work, we had the most amazing, memorable wedding day. We felt completely taken care of every step of the way and were able to simply relax and savor the big day. I can't recommend Maui's Angels highly enough! Maui’s Angels were a huge part of making our wedding day the most beautiful and best day of our life! When we started working with Ali about ten months before our wedding, she made the whole process feel smooth, organized and easy. The fact that we were planning thousands of miles away wasn’t an issue thanks to her friendly and fantastic communication skills. My husband and I got married on the beautiful Ironwoods Beach in Maui on Fri Oct 6th and we can't express how thankful we are to have found Maui's Angels and to work with Marni. She was amazing throughout the entire process. It was tough for us at first to figure out how to plan a wedding all the way from New York, but she made everything stress-free and found us the best vendors! Marni made our dreams become a reality and we are forever thankful! We look forward to coming back again!

There will never be enough words for me to describe what an amazing experience it was to work with Maui's Angels. Where do I even begin?? Lorrie and her team were absolutely incredible to work with! The first day my then fiancé and I met with Lorrie we instantly knew she had to be the one to plan our dream wedding. I believe it was fate as her vision, style & personality aligned perfectly with ours. She has such a god given talent for taking what you dream of and creating it into a total masterpiece. Her skill set is untouchable but beyond that her heart for her clients is remarkable. She treats you like family and truly puts everything into making your day one to remember!! She was given less then 2 months to put our wedding together and she outdid herself. Everything I wanted she achieved beyond my expectations. I love that she was with me every step of the way ensuring the day of my wedding was stress free. I got to truly enjoy every moment of my day because I had total faith and trust in her & her team. She did not disappoint or let me down...she made my heart so very happy. Everything was shear perfection all the way down to the name cards. She puts so much added thought into the special extra touches she adds. It was because of Maui's Angel's that my wedding was so beautiful and memorable! If I could give 100 stars, I would! Our wedding was absolute perfection and it's all because of Ali at Maui's Angels. We originally had planned on having a wedding in October 2018 with 50 guests and had started the whole process with Ali. She helped us find and secure all the vendors we wanted and helped give us options to stay within budget. Then come August 2017 we decided to move to New York and move up our wedding to October 2017! First we were going to elope just the two of us, but then decided a few days later to have a wedding with just our immediate family. Without hesitation Ali was able to secure almost all of the same vendors on short notice AND our venue! To say she is a miracle worker is an understatement! Flash forward to our wedding day, we finally got to see what she had been working on for us and she killed it! She went above and beyond our wildest dreams and took our small budget and made it seem like we had a HUGE budget. All of the little details just made every element of the wedding stunning! Our family kept coming up to us and telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and it was all because of Ali. I wish I could build a time machine so that I could do it all over again and the first thing I would do again is call Ali to get her help! Thank you Ali and Maui's Angels for making our wedding even better than my dream wedding!!

Maui’s Angels was great from the minute I started working with them. Before we even signed anything or sent any form of payment, they were already answering my questions and giving me helpful suggestions. I worked with Ali, and she was so kind and knowledgeable. She really made our day so special. We enjoyed every second of our wedding day because Maui’s Angels made sure all the details were in place!

Without Ali, our wedding ceremony would’ve taken place in a muddy field. It’s a long story, but it’s the truth. Thanks to her going above and beyond our expectations, we had the wedding of our dreams, for which we will be forever grateful. Placing our trust in Ali was the single best decision we made in planning our wedding. From the start, Ali was responsive, professional and a total pleasure to work with. She is an expert in all things wedding which makes her advice impeccable. For us, her excellent communication skills turned what was quickly becoming a stressful experience into an easy and joyful process. She’s also an excellent communicator and any questions we had were always answered in detail within hours. Her day of event coordination was phenomenal. Not only did she take care of the two of us, she made certain every detail went perfectly. Looking back on it, there isn’t a single element we feel she didn’t absolutely nail. She even entertained the kids while the adults ate. She walked the line perfectly of being there the exact moment you needed her, but disappearing to allow for that intimate wedding we wanted. Without Ali, my husband and I would still be happily married, but the day wouldn’t have been half as magical. She crafts wonderful events, and we would most definitely recommend her to anyone getting married on Maui.

Words alone cannot express my gratitude in working with these ladies!! Ali Thorstad was my main go-to girl to guide me in every step of the way! As organized as she can be, she was able to help me match the perfect vendors for me and able to leave me stress-free before, throughout, and after the wedding. The stress-free factor was the most important to me and Ali was able to achieve that. For example, during the wedding, Ali constantly reassured me that everything will be ok and beautiful. Danielle was very organized and detail oriented with the floral and decor! She was able to discuss every detail from the textures of the flowers, to lighting, down to the type wood/colors and details of the wedding ceremony arches. Marni and Ali worked wonderfully on the day of the wedding! Everything was coordinated in an organized fashion. Every time my anxiety kicks in due to a possible issue, either Ali or Marni were able to remedy that with a solution and with reassurance that everything will be alright. The wedding ran smoothly and everything was beautiful! Maui's Angels are very accommodating, especially with last minute needs. We stayed in touch throughout the year before the wedding day, on the wedding day and even after! It was a pleasure to meet and work with these ladies and are such sweethearts! This review is a long time coming! My husband and I were married in October 2015 at Merriman's Kapalua. We live on the mainland and were looking for an affordable coordinator that could help us in coordinating day of, working through flowers, etc. and I was getting very discouraged until I found this awesome group! I'll be honest I was a little apprehensive on first looking through their portfolio because I'm a bit of an offbeat bride and we were not looking for a super traditional fancy wedding. I didn't need to worry! Not only were they extremely reasonable price wise but they embraced our quirky sense of style even helping us to plan our unique color changing centerpieces. They worked with us using the vases we wanted for centerpieces and found us great flowers without blowing the bank. The coordination in helping to set up our homemade and individually purchased decor made the wedding day so stress free. Couldn't have asked for more from them and would highly recommend to any bride - even those other offbeat ladies out there!

My husband and I got Maui'd in June at the olowalu plantation house, it was the best day/wedding ever thanks to Ali, Lorrie and Maui's Angels team! They made the whole destination wedding process completely stress free and were so easy and fun to work with :) Everything turned out so much more perfect than we had imagined, I highly recommend Maui's Angels and can't thank them enough!!

I can't say enough about how awesome Ali and the rest of the team at Maui's Angels are. Having a destination wedding and not being physically there to see the progress and meet all the vendors is a bit stressful when you are use to planning and organizing everything yourself. All we had to do was send Ali our ideas and visions and she made sure they came together. It was stress free and we got to show up as guests to our wedding. We would not change a thing about our wedding. From U'Ilani to Kaua and Cake Fanatics everything was truly perfect and I could not have asked for a more perfect special day. You should choose Maui’s Angels for your destination wedding if you want to have a perfect wedding experience. Ali made it so easy and completely STRESS FREE. I’m not kidding, I didn’t worry about one little detail the entire trip. Which is something you really want when you are planning a vacation out of your wedding week and have a lot of family traveling from all over the world. Ali, Lorrie, and Marnie were like dear friends at the wedding that would show up when they were needed and point you in the right direction. I will always remember Ali was the first person to congratulate us as we walked down the aisle after our ceremony and it was an emotional moment that deserved a hug. They live and breathe weddings and they are sooo good at it. They just know what you are feeling and how to be there to support you when you need it most. I never felt overwhelmed and looking back, I have zero regrets. Making decisions on vendors was super easy because they have amazing relationships with all the local vendors and send you the best options for your personality/stlye and all you have to do is pick one. If you are considering whether or not to go with a wedding planner for a destination wedding, I would have to say it was the best decision I made.

I can't thank Ali, Lorrie, and the rest of the Maui's Angels team enough for making my wedding dreams come true! Maui means a lot to both my husband and I. So we knew that we wanted to have our wedding there, but being based in the SF Bay Area, we needed help. We initially started the wedding planning process with another planner, and things started to go awry. I was starting to get frustrated by the choices this planner was making (we were way out of budget range). Luck would have it, this planner left Maui's Angels, and Lorrie came to the rescue and teamed us up with Ali. I don't know what we would have done without Ali. We even had the opportunity to meet with her on a quick trip to Maui 4 months prior to the wedding. She always answered all emails and phone calls, and addressed any concerns right away. Even with a few hiccups at the wedding, Ali made sure that my husband and I didn't stress about anything. The wedding day was more beautiful than I could have imagined it. Thank you Maui's Angels!

Lorrie, Ali, Marni and the rest of the Maui's Angels team are the absolute best in the business HANDS DOWN!! My husband and I are based in LA and got married in Maui last month. Working with the Maui's Angels team to make our dream wedding a reality was the best decision we made for our big day. We had a pretty clear creative vision, some unconventional requests, a crazy work schedule and a relatively strict budget. Ali and Lorrie were able to work with all of these challenges with ease and grace. Throughout the planning process, we must have emailed them 20 times a day with questions and concerns. Not only was every email responded to quickly and thoroughly, but it was clear that Ali and Lorrie really "got us" and were willing to do everything possible to make this the best day of our lives. We felt more at ease and less stressed after every phone call with them and never doubted that they had our best interests in mind. And that didn't stop after the planning process was done. It poured rain most of our wedding day at Olowalu Plantation House, and the Maui's Angels team brought their world class A-game to keep us and our guests happy, comfortable and as dry as possible. In lesser hands, it would have been the most stressful experience, but with their expert coordination, a minor inconvenience became a beautiful, memorable backdrop. We will always remember dancing in the rain with our guests that day and it made for the most gorgeous photos! Our wedding was like a fairytale; the best day of our lives, and that is thanks in large part to the Maui's Angels team. All of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended - and we agree! My husband and I cannot recommend the Maui's Angels team more highly. Planning a destination wedding can be tricky but over the years (yes it took years) of planning the team at Maui's Angels coordinated everything to run smoothly. Being from Vancouver and my husband from New Zealand, Hawaii was the perfect spot to tie the knot! Their inside knowledge of the best vendors on the island really helped make our decision making easy. As outstanding wedding planners, we knew they would put forth amazing vendors and those that fit our style and budget. The communication between them and us was so easy and natural, whether it was emails, phone calls or skyping they were always available to chat. They took my ideas and design priorities and really executed them on the day. We worked together to create a beautiful setting for our wedding. They listened to our needs and concerns and worked with us to find a common, happy outcome. Leading up to the big day they made us feel at ease and calm. Everyone kept telling me I was such a calm bride and I honestly think it's because these lovely ladies had taken care of everything. I'm so grateful I found Maui's Angels to plan and design our wedding. Lorrie, Ali, Danielle, and the rest of the team understood exactly what I wanted, and were so accommodating with their phone calls especially considering the massive time difference (we live in Australia). The vendors they recommended were perfect, and they knew what I wanted even before I did. They listened to my feedback, and if I was unsure about something they worked with me until my vision. The planning process was a breeze, they were always available for every little thing I would obsess about, instantly putting any of my fears to rest. When we finally made it to Maui for the wedding and met Lorrie and Ali in person, they greeted us with big hugs told us to let them know if we needed anything. And they weren't lying! When the heavens opened up and dumped a bunch of rain on Maui before the wedding, I texted Ali who calmed me down and assured me everything would be okay. We had some welcome drinks for our guests a few days before the wedding and I was so happy to see Lorrie and Ali there, and they even brought along our florist! It proves that they really care about their clients and make every effort to go above and beyond to make them feel comfortable about the big day coming up. When the day finally arrived and I saw the first glimpse of our wedding, I was blown away. They NAILED it. From the officiant to the table settings to the twinkling lights that I wanted so much, everything was perfect and magical, and I wouldn't change a thing if I had to do it all over again. The wedding ran so smoothly that even the most neurotic of people (me) can relax and just enjoy the day that Maui's Angels worked so hard to plan. When everything was all over they even had a little present for us, which was so sweet of them, I loved it. I cannot express how lucky we were to have Lorrie and Ali with us for our wedding. Is it bad to want a divorce just so we can do it all over again? ;)

We first chose Maui's Angels since all the pictures on their websites seem very high quality. We would say their actual services were even better. During the three to four months preparations, their team responded our requests with high efficiency and professionalism, despite the fact that we are from China and the time difference is huge. They were very flexible in terms of scheduling calls and were very patient to answer our questions. On the wedding day all the things were highly organized. All the things such as boutique, arch, chair, dinner table, wedding cakes, all of them kept the consistent quality as the picture we saw from their websites or we provided to the team earlier. They also gave us lots of suggestion in choosing stylist, musician, photographer, videographer, etc., making our work much easier and ensuring the quality. We loved the pictures so much. Planner was also around for the entire event supervising the procedures, giving us lots of sense of "safety". A BIG thanks to Maui's Angels!

Maui's Angels brought our dream wedding to life!! My husband and I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience working with Lorrie and her amazing team at Maui’s Angels. They more than exceeded our expectations! Second to marrying my husband, Maui’s Angels was the best decision I could have made for my wedding. What a wonderful experience we had with Lorrie and her team of event planners! The year leading up to the wedding was filled with advice, support and the most professional input from this amazing team. These women are wedding experts, Maui wedding experts at that. There are so many details that go into planning a wedding, but never did I feel overwhelmed with decisions to make and things to do. Maui’s Angels was so professional and organized and approached my wedding with a detailed timeline that helped to keep everything in order. The week of, and most importantly, the day of the wedding is when Lorrie and her team shine. They were like our own personal wedding fairies making sure everything was perfect and ran smoothly. And that it did. If you ask me, absolutely nothing went wrong on our wedding day. It was PERFECT. From the processional, to the ceremony, to the music, to the table settings, to the flowers, to the food, to the drinks, to the DJ, to the décor, everything was perfect. It was the most magical and meaningful day and it would not have been the same without Maui’s Angels there every step of the way.

Lorrie and the girls from Maui’s Angels were AMAZING and I would highly recommend them if you’re planning your wedding on Maui. I didn’t have to browse around too much as they had so many great reviews from past clients that it made my choice really easy. After I had my first call with Lorrie, I knew instantly that she was THE ONE. Lorrie has such a genuine and caring heart that instantly makes you feel like her friend rather than just another client. She always made herself available on the phone whenever she or I had any concerns... but we usually spent the first 10 to 15 minutes just catching up on life :) I’m from Canada and one of the things that brides worry about the most on planning a wedding from afar is getting slow responses from their planners but Maui’s Angels were so quick in getting back to my e-mails that it certainly put my mind at ease. When I decided to visit Maui a few months prior to my wedding, they had worked around my schedule and booked all my vendor meetings for me before I arrived. When it came to the wedding day, Lorrie and her team went over and above my expectations. Our wedding was so beautiful (practically magazine worthy as our guests say) and Lorrie really listened to all our wants and needs and pulled tones of inspiration from my Pinterest board. Her attention to detail was immaculate and every vendor that she had recommended was spot on. The whole team was so attentive on the day, they constantly checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed while we were getting ready. Lorrie was really good at reminding us to not worry about a thing and to take the time to savor the day. We certainly did not have anything to worry about, the wedding went so smoothly and we had the best time of our lives. Honestly, if you’re looking for a planner, you won’t regret picking Maui’s Angels. They are absolute stars!

Stop reading other coordinator reviews and just pick Maui's Angels. I may be biased because they are so kind and personable AND helped make the wedding of my dreams come true... but who can blame me? They also got me into contact with the perfect wedding photographer to capture it all and a videographer to produce a video that still makes me cry after I've already given it over 100 views... These ladies are the best in the business. And we still have the Christmas card they sent us hanging on our fridge. Seriously, they're great :)

We always knew we wanted to get "Maui'd," but with the number of family/friends coming (over a 100), we would have to be smart, flexible and prudent with how we handled our budget and still got the “dream” day. I spoke with different planners during my researching stage, and knew from the outstanding reviews and photos of their work online that my heart belonged to Maui’s Angels, but I needed to make sure I was making the right decision so I “shopped around.” But in the end, I went with Lorrie and her team of professionals because they were everything we were looking for. We worked with Nicole throughout the whole 18 month process and she was my angel! She was quick/responsive, was professional, detail-oriented, organized, trustworthy, made me feel listened to, and that our needs were met, and just made the whole usual stress of planning one of the biggest events of your life doable. I felt comfortable going to her with my questions, and she was always ready with suggestions. They love to do what they do and that spirit of Aloha comes out through the care they take with you and in the end, the planning process is fun instead of a big old ball of craziness (well, you will still have some craziness, but that’s self-imposed and has nothing to do with Maui’s Angels, haha), and the outcome, the wedding day is actually more than you could even imagine. The team pulled it off for us, a wedding within our conservative budget with that really unique and pretty bespoke edge that the DIY girl in me is just salivating for, and made it just so personal and lovely. They took my ideas and blew them up to scale and made it even better than I could have imagined. In the end, we were happy with the process, and our guests all hands down said, “that was the best wedding” that they have ever been to. The view at the Olowalu certainly didn’t hurt, but all together with the high quality vendors they put together and the way everything was executed, made it definitely the “best day ever.”

If you're planning a wedding in Maui, I highly recommend using Maui's Angels (MA) to coordinate your wedding! It's stressful enough as is to plan a wedding, let alone a destination one, but you can rest easy knowing that Lorrie and her team will take excellent care of you. One piece of advice for those potential destination couples: choose a coordinator who you can trust. They are your eyes and ears during the planning process and will be the people you rely on to make your day as special as you want it to be. I can say I fully trust the Maui's Angels team. You can trust that the MA team will help make your day as special and magical as you've imagined it to be. They care about the details and will listen to your style so that your day reflects who you and your groom are. The MA team helped make the planning process as smooth as possible for me and my husband, so that days even before the wedding, we didn't have a thing to worry about. MA helped us enjoy our time as an engaged couple--without any surprise appearances of a bridezilla. We still look back on our day and think about how perfect our wedding was. MA helped make our dreams come true beyond what was imaginable. We loved everything about the day--from the vendors they recommended, to the layout, to the ambiance. It was truly perfect, and it wouldn't have been what it was without MA. My husband and I are so thankful to the MA team, and if we were to go back in time and do it all over again, we'd choose MA in a heartbeat!

I had a great experience with Maui's Angels for my wedding. I found them online and initially had a lot of questions in regards to planning a destination wedding in Maui, and the girls at Maui's Angels immediately went above and beyond to assure me they would be able to help me organize my dream wedding. They were so easy to work with and had so many amazing ideas for me! I planned my wedding from Canada, so wasn't able to see any of the details until the actual wedding day, and I was so unbelievably happy with the result. The whole planning process was so easy, which is what I wanted, and I trusted the girls with each and every detail. They chose my venue and all the vendors, and I couldn't be more grateful for all of their hard and amazing work. They are such a sweet group of girls!!

The Maui's Angels ladies did a fantastic job with coordinating and planning my husband and my wedding event in Maui. We were married in July 2016 in Maui, but started the planning process a year earlier. Lorrie, the founder of MA, ensured that I was comfortable and happy with the chosen venue. I was in good hands with our wedding planners despite a last minute planner transition a few weeks prior to the event. Our wedding day went off without a hitch - my husband and I did not have to worry about a thing except making sure that our guests and we all had a good time! The wedding was perfect and exactly what we envisioned. If we could get married all over again, we'd choose Maui's Angels. Our wedding was a DREAM! Thanks to Maui's Angels! My husband and I live in Toronto and decided to have a destination wedding in Maui. I wanted to hire a wedding planner right from the beginning since we will be planning a wedding remotely. After doing a lot of research and requesting quotes from different wedding planners in Maui and Hawaiian Islands. Maui's Angels were the only full event planning service that gave us the most reasonable and affordable quote, not only that, they also had the best reviews across 5 different websites. Over the months, we communicated over emails and phone calls. The only complaint that I have with Maui's Angels is that it usually takes Lorrie a while to respond to my emails, but that may be because Lorrie is the business owner and she is usually the busiest person! Her team will usually respond very efficiently in any case where Lorrie is away. Despite the response time, Maui's Angels are very professional ladies and they know exactly what to do with any situation. They will satisfy any request a bride may have at any time. Stephanie (the-day-of coordinator) and Danielle (designer) were there with us throughout the entire event. They were the nicest ladies and they made sure everything was flawless and smooth. They were very attentive and made sure we as bride and groom had drinks and were taken care of. I honestly can't imagine our day without Maui's Angels, it would have been a disaster. They made our day even better than our imagination! All of our guests loved the wedding and had a great time! If you are wondering if it is worth it to hire them, it is! Hire them and they will make your day flawless!

Lorrie and her team of professionals did an incredible job of creating a dream come true, best day ever, fairytale wedding for our daughter and her groom. In the planning stages they were always willing to take the time and help us find just the right vendor at the right price for our wedding. They were quick to respond and their attention was focused on every little detail. The day of Danielle was there for production and set up, Marnie and Stephanie at the event sight to manage all the vendors and Lorrie was on hand to add the last little touches, making our daughters wedding perfect!

First off, I dont even know how to put into words how wonderful Lorrie, Nicole, Amber, Marni and the rest of the team are. Nothing I say is going to add up to how truly amazing these girls are! All of them are so sweet and always did whatever I needed and answered every question I had. On the day of my wedding Marni did a great job of letting me know what I should be doing and when to do what. Amber was amazing with my 9 month old. I seriously wanted to bring her home with me and in our nanny finding process my husband keeps saying "seriously why can't Amber live in Minnesota?!" Lorrie is thee nicest and most caring person I have ever met and you can honestly tell that she has so much love for what she does. She has a heart made of gold!! Not to mention she is amazingly creative!! Maui's Angels took my vision of what I wanted my wedding to be like and ran with it. It was everything and more than I could have ever dreamed of. I literally felt like I was in a fairy tail and needed to be pinched so I could wake up...it was seriously that beautiful. I had tears when I walked into my venue before the ceremony and saw how perfect and gorgeous everything was and I am not an emotional person. My guests keep saying how it was the most beautiful wedding that they have been to and that it will be a tough one to beat. I have had multiple people tell me that it looked like something out of a magazine. We were so happy with each and every vendor Lorrie and her team suggested. Everyone just fit in perfectly. We really wanted to have a donut bar at the wedding but Maui didn't really have any donut bakeries on the island so Lorrie worked her magic and had Krispy Kreme custom order donuts for us. Anything we wanted!! Who doesn't love Krispy Kreme?! Also, we never sent out invites since we were only inviting a select few of people so I didn't have one (an invite) for picture purposes. Well, Lorrie took that matter into her own hands and surprised me with an invite and everything that went along with it so I could have one for pictures! It was so beautiful and totally what I would have chosen!! She's just so amazing! Now after that the wedding is over I'm so sad (I seriously open my email a million times a day, checking to see if I have an email from Lorrie or one of the girls...I am clearly going through withdrawals from them) but so happy I met all of these amazing people. My wedding would have not been the same without each and everyone of them and I am so happy I chose them.

I wanted to write a review to say how great Lorrie and the team from Maui’s Angels were in planning and executing our special day. They were very professional, organised and easy to deal with. The day went seamlessly because of the hard work of this team. Above all, I have to say that Lorrie’s taste level is impeccable. I would recommend them to anyone who wanted an elegant Maui wedding.

I first have to admit that I dreaded the thought of planning a wedding. Not only that but planning it from so far away (I live in Florida, wedding was on Maui). I forget how I found Maui's Angels, but I am SO happy I did. They seemed to be one of the only companies that cared more about what I wanted and less about charging me more so they could take a percentage. When I first started planning my budget was low and later expanded, MA was the only company that seemed to care to work within my original low budget. Nicole was my planner and she was amazing! Brides can be needy people and she ALWAYS answered my emails within 24hours. Even when she went out of town she would let me know weeks in advance. She was on top of everything and more importantly such a joy to chat and work with. I never thought I would say this, but honestly, I will miss our daily emails about wedding planning and LIFE! When the events came around she was there through every step of the way. ALL day putting the event together, and then ALL night making sure it ran smoothly and I had everything I needed. Not only was she amazing, but her whole team was. Marney & Amber helped do "Day of" coordinating and they were equally as awesome. Bottom line, I couldn't have done this without Nicole and the amazing hands-on team at Maui's Angels. Thank you for making what seemed like a wedding planning nightmare, turn in to a total dream.
