Rachel and Anna with MAVEN Styling were amazing! They were my day-of event coordinators for a rehearsal dinner we held at the Neu Neu in Minneapolis. I could never have gotten through my event successfully without them! They made suggestions about details I overlooked and went above and beyond with helping me feel comfortable with the plan. Most importantly, I was able to completely enjoy my event just as much as my guests did because they kept tabs on the timeline and every detail. On top of all that, they were both delightful women! I truly enjoyed working with them. Thank you Rachel and Anna!!

We used Maven for wedding coordination and floral and could not have been more impressed! As many brides know, the wedding planning process can be stressful but with the support of the Maven team we felt very stress-free during the weeks leading up to our wedding. We worked with Kati on floral and decor — she was amazing! We had a large floral installation as the backdrop for our alter and it looked better than we could have imagined. Not to mentioned they nailed the look and feel we were going for- sort of a luminary loppet feel - with tons of candles and soft lighting. Shaley was our coordinator and she was absolutely fabulous!! Seriously, follow her on Instagram — she is inspiring! She was fun, professional and personable. I LOVED being able to send everyone who pointed out a problem or saw something out of place (ie mothers ;p) to her. She was totally there for us every step of the day and made sure things ran smoothly before, during and after. I would highly recommend Maven to everyone planning a wedding. They made our day so magical. Ironically, I did not know Maven owned Neu Neu, but we did consider this venue for our grooms dinner. Its very charming and chic. Definitely worth checking out. Maven did the flowers for our October 2019 wedding. I was horrible at providing direction and just sent them my Pinterest board and told them "I trust your judgement." And I'm so glad I did!!! What they put together was not what I would have picked out for myself, but it was perfect. The bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres were stunning, and they did a great job adding small arrangements, candles and greens throughout the venue to add texture and color. Working with them was also a breeze - they were super responsive and answered all of my questions with helpful advice. Thank you mavens!!!

Danielle and her team were fantastic! They were so organized, knew exactly what needed to be done and even ran out to get eyelash glue for one of my bridesmaids! They made the day run smoothly and I am so thankful for all they did for us!

Deciding to use MAVEN during our wedding planning was the best decision we made all year (besides the decision to get married, of course). We had our December 8th wedding at 514 Studios Event Center, which includes Day of Coordination through MAVEN, so that’s how we learned about them. As wedding planning got more stressful, we decided to add on MAVEN’s Design Package, and we are so happy we did. Shaley was incredible - we got to meet with her in person where she attentively listened to our ideas and came up with a few of her own to make our day and space really unique and beautiful! Not only do they help with tangible design details like floral and stationery, they can help with other more intangible things like order of events. Through all of our conversations and emails, we could tell they are a very professional group who are experts in their field. They handled every question and worry we threw at them with ease and reassurance. We booked floral and nearly all of our decor including all the table centerpieces through them. When we saw the space the day of, we were floored - everything came together perfectly and the space looked like “us”, not just another cookie cutter wedding. And the best part was that they took care of all of the set-up and tear down, which meant less stress for our families, and more time to enjoy the day! Huge shoutout to our amazing Day of Coordinator, Kalie, for knowing exactly what needed to happen and timing everything perfectly. We felt so secure in her hands, and she was an absolute joy to work with as well! Also thanks to Linda (floral design) and all the other MAVENs who helped deliver, set up, flip, and tear down the space. If you’re on the fence about booking MAVEN, DO IT NOW. You’ll thank yourself later when you’re having fun instead of stressing on the best day of your life.

We used Maven for our florals and couldn’t have been happier. They do such beautiful work that makes such an impression, at what we felt like was a pretty reasonable price. My dad even teared up seeing our head table decor with an install they created. They were easy to meet with throughout the process and did set up and tear down without me having to worry about a thing.

Kelly from Maven was our Day of Coordinator for our August wedding at 514 Studios. She was a lifesaver! I truly do not think I could have made it through the weeks leading up to the weeding or the day of without Kelly and the Maven team! She was calm, organized, and supportive and made sure that every single detail that I had obsessed over for the year leading up to the wedding was executed flawlessly. Thank you Kelly!

I'm honestly a little torn about this review, and considered not writing one for this vendor, as I think my experience was a little atypical, and I struggled to work well with Maven. While we enjoyed our wedding immensely and things still looked beautiful, there are definitely things that didn't turn out how we had hoped, and communication overall could have been better. Events: Ultimately our coordinator, Danielle, was amazing on the day of. While I'm really glad that we ended up with her, I didn't initially realize that we did not meet the actual day of coordinator when hiring Maven, and did not know who she was until relatively late in the process. I hired a day of coordinator because I am prone to stressing out during big events, and feeling comfortable with the person I would be interacting with on my wedding day was a crucial part of that decision. (I totally own that this misunderstanding might have been my fault.) So, while there were some communication missteps with coordination leading up to the wedding, the day of was 1,000% smooth, and Danielle went above and beyond. Would absolutely recommend. Floral: Maven does really wonderful work, and I admire it very much. Most of our floral turned out beautifully, but with better communication, everything could have turned out great. I met with the team about 15 months before our wedding for an initial meeting to reserve the date and have a loose discussion of concepts. At the time we didn’t have the venue or colors finalized, I wasn’t totally sure of the creative direction or preferred flowers, and I had very little concept of how much flowers and greenery cost. This was the only in person meeting we had. As my fiancé and I finalized details and developed a more specific concept, I tried to get in touch with the floral designer to make adjustments and more fully realize the design. We didn’t stray too terribly far from the initial proposal book, so it never seemed to warrant a larger discussion—but I probably should have been much more proactive with making sure things were on track. Ultimately, most of the décor items ended up perfect, especially the ceremony garlands and aisle flowers. The bridal bouquet, however, was not quite as I’d envisioned from the proposal (more compact, less sweeping, smaller), there was not as much color overall as we would have liked, and the flower crown I had ordered was not a crown, but a piece to be pinned on the side in a difficult to work with shape. I would have added more funds to the flowers if needed—the initial budget I gave may have been on the low end simply because I was unfamiliar with the costs of the items, but this never came up as an issue. The floral designers did add extra small details on the day of that tied things together and were very thoughtful. They are obviously very talented—I would absolutely recommend them, but I would suggest being more active in your communication with them if you have specific ideas, or even if something in your proposal book appeals to you as it is shown.

514 Studios provided us with a day of coordinator from Maven and we were lucky enough to get Alison Oase. She is amazing and a life saver! Our day flowed flawlessly. My husband even forgot to pick up our linens and Alison somehow magically got them from Linen Effects. Highly recommend :). - The Carbone's

Working with MAVEN on our design, day-of-coordination and floral was the best decision we could have made! Our wedding was everything and more we could have dreamed of. I didn't feel an ounce of stress the day of our wedding and it was because of Shaley, Kelly and their teams. Seriously, do yourself a favor and hire them now! Maven was amazing --- Kelly helped us with florals, bouquets, center pieces, and day of organization. She utilized our Pinterest vision board. We had a meeting at her adorable office space a few months before the wedding and talked through details. The day of the wedding, Kelly came to the hotel to drop off bouquets, boutonnieres, and my hair pieces. Everything looked amazing - and completely what we desired. Her team set up our venue hours prior to the event. The weather was super hot, so we made a few changes with florals - and they were super flexible and knowledge regarding what would work in the heat. Between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception florals, we were super pleased - everything looked perfect and details were on point. I would definitely recommend Maven.

OMG! We had the awesome pleasure of working with Brie as our day of coordinator. She was the BEST! She was so friendly, organized, and over-all kick ass! I was able to meet with her a month before the wedding, and it was the first moment in the wedding planning process I felt reassured everything was going to be perfect. She followed up with emails as often as I needed, and was always on top of every detail. She was kind to my family and wedding party the day of too! To my knowledge, our wedding was flawless without any problems (so if there were any, she took care of it with great discretion). I really can't say enough good things about MAVEN and Brie. Thank you so so much!!!!!

WE LOVE MAVEN. Booking them for floral and day of coordination was the best decision ever. Genevieve made all my floral dreams come true and Shaley made sure that everything was executed flawlessly. Our day was absolutely perfect and it wouldn’t have been possible without them. Not only are they incredibly talented, they are wonderful people. We instantly felt a connection with them and knew that we would be in good hands on the big day. Pricing was also super reasonable!! The night of my wedding, I remember thinking, how did we afford all this!!?? We told them what we wanted to spend (thinking it wouldn’t get us much) and it turned out so much better than we could have ever imagined. I also think that having a day of coordinator (specifically Shaley:)) is a NECESSITY. I’ve been to many weddings where family and friends are stressed trying to make sure everything runs smoothly, but that was not the case at our wedding. Shaley took care of everything and everyone was happy and stress free all day. Hire the Mavens, you won’t regret it.

Our venue provided us with a Day of Coordinator from Maven, and Danielle was a dream to work with. She met with us to talk through the big day about a month out, and then continued to email with us making sure she had all the details. She was especially helpful in figuring out a floorplan with us, when I was being picky! We had some complicated table settings as well as a lot of pieces of decor in general and she did an AMAZING job of setting up. It was so much more than I could picture it being. She also checked in with us throughout the evening, kept things on schedule (and ahead of it!) and even got the bartenders to crack open the bubbly for me to have during dinner. Every detail was thought of. And clean up happened so quickly and seamlessly that I didn't even notice it. Everything was packed up and ready to go so we could load up the cars and head out at the end of the night not worrying about what we forgot. Honestly, working with Danielle was a better than I could have guessed and I'm so grateful for how the day turned out with all of her hard work! Thank you!

MAVEN and Genevieve were wonderful to work with for our wedding floral. I have very little knowledge of flowers or floral, so gave Genevieve a general idea of the colors and style of what I envisioned, and I can't say enough about how gorgeous it all turned out! Absolutely stunning. We also had a few specific requests including hops in our hanging floral installation and bomber beer bottles in some of our centerpieces, and they were incorporated beautifully! Maven also did all the set-up of the floral for our ceremony and reception, installation of the hanging greenery, and take-down of all at the end. They event wrapped up a few centerpieces for our mothers. It was perfect.

Maven was absolutely incredible to work with -- we were placed with Mackenzie, who was such a great fit for us! She was extremely detail-oriented, so pleasant to work with during both the happy and stressful moments, and she was such a blessing during the day-of; helping us stick to our timeline and keeping us stress-free!

Where do I even begin? Kelly made our wedding magic. It was like she knew us better than we knew ourselves.. she made our vision and dreams a reality. She was attentive from the beginning and always helped me where I needed it, even if it was just an ear to listen. My husband Jonah and I found her to be such a blessing to us throughout the planning process and of course on our wedding day. We had booked Maven for a partial planning package and for floral. Everything was spot on. There is not one single thing I did not like. Do you know how good that feels as a Bride? I knew I was always in trusted hands with Kelly and her team. If you haven't booked them yet, do it now! It is a decision you will never regret making.

Kelly was our florist and she was AMAZING!! I told her the colors of my wedding with a couple pictures of inspiration was Pinterest and that is it! She always answered my questions and her excitement was so genuine. All the flowers were beautiful and the centerpieces were perfect! If you use Maven as your florist you will not be disappointed!!

Wow- having Bre as the event coordinator at my wedding was fantastic!! Everything was taken care of and went so smoothly. I highly recommend Maven! If you are debating whether you need an event coordinator, you do! It helps soooooo much and really takes the stress off you on your big day!

I cannot say enough how thankful we were to work with MAVEN! I really don't think our wedding would have gone smoothly without them. There were a lot of last minute issues they handled without even telling us! Highly recommend them!

I was so impressed by all of the staff at Maven. They really helped me from start to finish with all my planning and decor and they even did all my floral! It was nice being able to work with people who understood what I needed and were able to give me advice.

We hired Maven for our wedding on October 3rd, 2015. The entire experience was truly incredible. We worked directly with both Kelly and Bre. They were attentive and detail oriented, making the entire process so easy. From our very first meeting, Kelly understood our aesthetic and took time to get to know us as a couple. Not only did our floral arrangements exceed our expectations, but we were blown away by the attention to every single detail throughout our day. We highly recommend including day-of coordination if you choose to hire Maven. Bre was our lead day-of coordinator. She went out of our way to ease our worries and make sure our day went perfectly. She is kind and patient; an absolute joy to work with. We will definitely hire Maven again for future events!

Bre was my coordinator for my wedding at 514 Studios on April 1st and there are not enough adjectives in the English language to describe how awesome she is!!! She made sure my day went absolutely flawless. Sinah from Maven also helped with the preparation of the food we ordered and she was amazing as well. We hired Jenny and Kelly as our florists, as well as coordinators for our May wedding. My husband and I sing their praises every chance we get, because we know that without them our outdoor wedding would not have been as successful or as beautiful. Initially, I was a little nervous because Maven is located in Minnesota, we are located in Iowa, and our wedding was in Wisconsin. But everything was above and beyond. I communicated with Jenny frequently through email and she always eased my concerns and had wonderful ideas. They took my ideas and vision of what I wanted for our wedding and turned it into a beautiful reality. The week and day of our wedding was hectic and stressful as we had to move locations last minute due to flooding and weather, but with Jenny and Kelly there everything was taken care of. My husband and I were so thankful for their professional help and guidance throughout the process. And the flowers, oh the flowers! The most gorgeous flowers I have ever seen at a wedding! People continue to compliment us on our beautiful wedding and the relaxed vibe of the day, which was all due to Jenny and Kelly!!! I wish that we were closer to them, so that we could hire them for future events!!

I hired Maven for my rehearsal dinner at Glensheen Mansion in Duluth. I picked the venue, but they took care of everything else. It turned into an elegant, well-run evening that everyone enjoyed! Maven took care of everything: from the beautiful invitations, social hour, tour of the estate, and dinner. The invitations and decorations were beautiful and definitely complemented the look and feel of the mansion. Even when the weather did not cooperate with our original plans, Maven took it in stride and quickly reorganized and moved things around to accommodate. If I had not known the original plan, I would never have known that there was a problem. All in all, it was an elegant and stress-free evening where we were free to enjoy ourselves. I would definitely use Maven Event Production again for any future events and highly recommend them to others!

I had Kelly's help with my wedding and multiple events, and I have also attended Maven designed events. All of Maven's events are beautifully designed and detail oriented. Jen and Kelly are experts at putting modern touches on classic designs while staying true to individual style preferences. Brides can trust that Kelly will handle all aspects of the wedding to exceed expectations and keep everything running smoothly. I would definitely recommend Maven for any event.

Jenny did the floral for my wedding and she did a phenomenal job! I gave her a vague idea of what I wanted with a couple specific flowers I had in mind and she created the most perfect bouquets and centerpieces! I couldn't have described exactly what I wanted but Maven did a wonderful job figuring it out and making it happen! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to any bride!
