Mayfair Bridal is such an awesome establishment! They are very nice and such a pleasure to work with. My sister got married a few years ago and had the best experience with them finding her dress so she recommended I find my dress there as well. They have so many unique wedding dress options and they are absolutely great when it comes to customer service. I would recommended anyone looking for a lovely wedding dress to check out Mayfair Bridal!

I can't say enough good things about Mayfair! My sisters best friend recommended I go here and I couldn't have imagined a better place. Do not let the size deceive you! They have so many gorgeous dresses inside! Maria knew exactly what style of dress for my body type and after I told her what I was looking for she went searching for my options. I ended up getting a beautiful Eddy K gown that made everyone cry when I put it on. They offer alterations that made my dress fit perfectly and even offered to store my dress so my groom wouldn't see it. My sister told me I was also given a coupon for a cleaning after! If you want to be taken care of with genuine customer service and find the dress of your dreams, go to Mayfair! You will not be disappointed!!

Angelica and her staff are the best. They know the business and love what they do. I was very happy with the process from the selection to my final fitting. They know how to dress brides and give them a first class experience. I would definitely recommend Mayfair Bridal to any future bride.

I LOVED my experience with Mayfair Bridal, and I LOVE my wedding dress :) Mayfair's inventory is impressive, and I really enjoyed working with the staff. They provide a different level of service than I experienced when I visited other salons. It was much more personal. I also appreciated their alteration policy and process. Mayfair Bridal is fantastic. I found my wedding dress here. They were very accommodating and made me feel comfortable throughout the process of choosing a dress all the way through alterations. They have excellent attention to detail, which was especially awesome when it came to the alterations. My dress fit perfectly to my body and looked fantastic on my wedding day and in all the pictures. The staff is very knowledgeable and genuine.

I bought my dress here and had an overall great experience. I needed a few alterations appointments and they were very accommodating in getting me in, sometimes twice in one day. Angelica was great to work with and her attention to detail is so helpful. They have a great selection of dresses as well!

I found my dress here! It was my third bridal shop and I was really disheartened going in. The second I walked through the door I was cared for, had things explained, and really had the focus on me (which you should cause your dress matters!). I loved every single person there! Don’t let the small shop look fool you, the people inside have big enough hearts to fill the place!

I was a little nervous coming in at first, I had drove all the way from Austin and had been frustrated that I couldn’t find anything I fell in love with. I found Mayfair bridal when I was searching designers online and decided to go check them out! They have so many amazing designers and even though you can’t really look at the dresses there because the store is small the team there was amazing! So friendly and very willing to help. I already knew what I was looking for when I came in and they did everything to make sure I was taken care of. There was one Eddy K dress I saw online and when I saw it in the bag I was like “ehhh” but they convinced me to try it on anyway, it ended up being THE DRESS! Thank you Nery and thank you Mayfair bridal you guys are the best!

Great customer service! Small store but don’t let that fool you, they have tons of stock. They went out of their way to find my dress and made the entire process very easy. Prices were a little less here too, which is always a plus! Alterations were fast and done well too.

I bought my wedding dress today from Mayfair bridal and it was the greatest experience I could have ever asked for! Right from the start Romy was amazing! Listening to my likes and dislikes she brought in a variety of styles to try and never made me feel pressured or rushed. I knew that this would be where I would find my dress and I did! With their wide selection and wonderful staff you can’t go wrong with Mayfair!!! Bridesmaids dresses to come next!

I was referred to Mayfair Bridal by a friend who had recently gotten married, and let me say I was so pleased with my experience with them! The staff was very friendly and really listened to me about what I wanted in my dress. They weren't pushy and I could tell they really wanted me to find my perfect gown and not just make a sale. They had a great selection at great prices. They answered all questions promptly and were flexible when I had to move some dates around for my fittings. I also liked that I could keep my gown at the store until the week of my wedding, and when I picked it up it was steamed and pressed perfectly. I highly recommend Mayfair Bridal to anyone who is looking for a bridal gown!

Mayfair is THE BEST place to buy your wedding gown! I first found out about this place in 2013 when I was a bridesmaid in my friends' wedding. She got her dress from here, and it was absolutely beautiful! When it was my turn to get married, I decided to book an appointment, and I am so glad I did! Mayfair was the first and only place I went to look for dresses. As soon as I walked in, my mom and I were greeted by Yasmin. She asked me if I had a picture of what I was looking for and listened to what style I wanted. I knew that I definitely didn't want strapless, but when it came to try them on, that is the first style she had me try. I love that she did that, because I was able to confirm that strapless was not for me. We tried on a few different styles until we came to one that I fell in love with! It was everything I dreamed of, except it didn't have sleeves (which is something I really wanted.) Angelica helped me during the alteration process and was such a blessing. The ladies ordered extra lace to match my dress, and they added the sleeves on. I was able to wear my dream dress down the aisle, and I received so many compliments about how gorgeous the gown was. All of the ladies at Mayfair are amazing, and they truly know their stuff! Don't think twice! Go to Mayfair! You won't regret it! :)

This bridal shop has a good selection of dresses and seemingly good customer service when you walk in but don't be fooled. Everything was going great until my bridesmaids decided to get their dresses from the store (which is $$$). They charge premium prices but fell completely short after they took our money. 1. Did not deliver the dresses on time: Although we came a little late to the game, my bridesmaids picked out their dresses in early February for my wedding on April 22. The owner assured me that she can "rush ship" the dresses for an upcharge on 65$ and the dresses would be there well in advance so alterations could be done. Needless to say, the wedding was 3 weeks away and we haven't heard a thing. It was very stressful and each time we called we received vague answers about when they would arrive. They finally arrived with one week to go...and they were the wrong length. (see below) 2. Dresses were ordered in the wrong length without our knowledge, and she still made us pay for the alterations!! The owner promised that the dresses my bridal party picked out came in a short and long length and there shouldn't be a problem getting them in short length in time. They ensured us that if they were not able to order the shorter length that they would call my ladies to let them know. We didn't hear anything from the shop so we assumed that everything went well and our dresses would arrive how we wanted them. In addition to arriving much much later than they originally stated, they came in long. The owner assured me that she "left me a message" telling me she wasn't able to get the dresses in the shorter length. And to make matters worse, she still made me ladies pay for the alterations to make them short. There was no apology about their mistake. TL;DR This place is not honest. They will make promises to earn your business that they cannot keep. And once they have you locked in, they will nickel and dime you to death. Super disappointed.

Absolutely the best bridal shop! I would give it more stars if I could. I went to two other bridal shops in San Antonio and Mayfair had the best selection, best customer service and expertise. The staff is always friendly when I call and go in, and always accommodating around my schedule (I love out of town so I have to plan my trips). My dress was a little big when it came in and they tailored it perfect for my body!

We had a wedding consult at a different salon and didn't have consult down for my stepdaughter's special day. Yazmin saved the day and saw us within 15 minutes of what would've been a terrible day. Yazmin was attentive to my stepdaughter and helped explain all the different styles, modifications they could do, etc. Mayfair treated her like a princess and it was a beautiful day! She said YES to the dress.

Let me just say I love Yazmin and Mayfair Bridal!!! Mayfair’s dress selections and customer service is outstanding! Yazmin and the other ladies were always so accommodating and provided exceptional customer service. I ended up getting a dress that was sleeveless, but I wanted the bohemian flare of sleeves. So the talented seamstress created sleeves that were from the same fabric as the dress and it turned out amazing! So many great things to say about Mayfair, I would refer them to any future bride. Mayfair Bridal was the 5th shop that i visited before I choose the dress. They have a huge selection of Maggie Soterro and Allure. Most of the dresses are lace based and simply beautiful. Angie was super sweet and helpful. She listened to everything that i wanted and stuck by my budget. I left the shop without "the dress" the first visit and then I came back when i found out that they had the same dress that i saw somewhere else. The ladies there made me feel super comfortable. They were always very pleasant. They also have a deal on alternations-which you cant really find anywhere else. All in all, i absolutely loved my dress and my experience at Mayfair Bridal.

Mayfair had the friendly staff! They were very helpful and knowledgable. They had a huge selection of dresses of all different designers and styles. They had all the alterations done on time and had the dress ready.

When I walked into this place I wasn't expecting to find the dress of my dreams. Yazmin was great and pulled a great selection for me. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

I had the absolute WORST experience imaginable with Mayfair Bridal. They nearly ruined my wedding day and took no responsibility for almost ruining my wedding dress. This is a very dishonest establishment and I would avoid Mayfair Bridal at all costs. My mother and I experienced the worst customer service imaginable. I ordered my dress in September . When it arrived in January, it was a little big, so I set up a date to have it fitted. They made the alternations, and I came in for my final fitting. The dress fit perfectly except the lace around the armpits was tight and uncomfortable. In the store with the dress on, they cut the lace under the armpit and said that they would just have to clean up the last cuts they made. My schedule then got very busy and I didn't have time to pick up my dress or try it on before they sent it out of state for my wedding. A few days before my wedding, I decided to try the dress on for my sister and we couldn't get it on! It had fit perfectly several months in the store and I had actually lost 2 lbs since the fitting. Someone had taken it in AGAIN! The next morning, I took it to my trusted tailor who saw that it had been taken in twice with all the excess material removed. He wasn't sure if there was enough material left to fix the dress (2 days before my wedding). My mother called the dress shop and asked if they had sent another dress. They assured us that they had not and that we had the correct dress. We then told them that someone must have taken the dress in again--having misread the adjustment note. Then they told us that the dress had fit perfectly (they had a video of me trying on the dress after the 1st alteration) and DENIED and further alteration orders. Luckily, they had sent us the 2 alteration slips, which we sent back to them. With this evidence, they reluctantly admitted to "just altering the armpits" but denied any mistakes on their part. They told my mother that I must have gained 15-20 lbs and they told me that the stitching that my expert tailor exposed (assuring us that none of it was original) was just the original stitching. Luckily, my tailor was able to fix the dress and I barely ate the next few days so I could button the final button. I spent nearly $3000 on my dress and their overpriced alterations which nearly ruined my dress. This was among the most stressful experiences of both my mother and I's life and we were treated terribly by Mayfair bridal, who refused to admit any fault and was downright rude to my mother and I. I want to mention that at no point did we ask for a refund or compensation for their terrible error. They were just this awful.This company cares nothing about the brides that they supposedly "serve" and cares only about protecting the bottom line. This is a very shady and dishonest establishment--avoid it at all costs!

The best selection in wedding dresses in San Antonio. They have so many beautiful dresses to choose from and service is excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The staff is very friendly and will make you feel welcomed!

Loved every part of the wedding dress shopping process! All the staff at Mayfair was extremely helpful and very sweet. The 5th dress I tried on was the one! Once I got in I wanted to change the neckline and they did exactly what I wanted. I then picked out a belt and they sewed it into the gown. There was a small mishap as I had originally chosen a short veil and changed my mind to a cathedral length and when I changed into my dress for my bridal portraits and we pulled out my veil, it was the short one. We made a phone call right away and they met my aunt half way to do the swap. They were so accommodating and pictures turned out great! It's so nice to work with a small bridal boutique that is willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Also, when I did go and pick up my dress the week of the wedding luckily I did try it on and asked where the bustling would go and they realized that had no been done yet. A little frustrating that I couldn't take my wedding dress with me, but it was ready the next morning and I was able to have someone pick it up, so everything worked out. All in all, a great experience and my dream dress!

While visiting my parents in TX, I wanted to share in my wedding experience with them by purchasing a dress while I was there. I scheduled several appointments in the area (David's Bridal, Alfred Angelo, and a few others not even worth mentioning). Mayfair was my first and last stop. I came to them with my vision and Jennie gave me a ton of options to try on. She was so patient and attentive that I felt bad for her helping me with my indecisive self, but she never once wavered or showed discontent (if she had any at all). She tries to gauge what you are feeling and genuinely wants to help you say yes to that dress! I left from my appointment with nothing in hand since it was only my first time shopping...I had to explore the rest of my options. My family and I went off to different shops but it truly did not compare! I kept comparing the service and quality of each place we visited to Mayfair and that ultimately led me back to purchase my gorgeous gown. Mayfair has been a staple to the community for years and years and I can see why! Thank you, Mayfair, for a wonderful experience!

I had my dress that I had previously purchased altered here. The alterations were done by Angel, who is absolutely amazing and meticulous, the dress came out perfect! they even had to remove and replace the lace overlay from the bottom of my dress and when she was done it looked just as nice as before. I give the quality of work 5+ stars! the reason for the lower overall rating was that I felt deceived through the whole process. When I called in to make the appointment, I was told alterations would be about $375 and the dress could be stored there between alterations, bridal photos and the wedding, and that it included up to 2 pressings (it would cost about $150 to add silk covered buttons, or cap sleeves) when I went in for my first appointment and they pinned everything I decided against adding buttons or sleeves and was surprised when I went to the register and the alterations total was $550 (which is actually how much my dress cost from I Do the Dress I Do). Then we set up my first fitting appointment and she said there would be one more fitting after that and that I should have a bridesmaid at the final fitting so they could learn how to bustle the dress. When I came back for my first fitting the dress fit pretty amazingly (I told you angel does fabulous work) but there were a few creases, the manager told me that those would come out when the dress was pressed. she then bustled the dress so I could make sure I liked the look of it, which I did. I went into the dressing room, took off the dress and left it hanging as I had at the previous appointment, when I went to make my final payment for the dress she asked if I would be taking the dress. I told her that I wasn't doing bridal photos and that the dress could get pressed and I wanted to arrange a time to set up a final fitting so my bridesmaid could learn how to bustle it and to pick up the dress before the wedding she told me that getting it pressed would be an additional $150 and that my bridesmaid should be able to figure the bustle out on her own. I told her that I thought it could get pressed twice and she said no, that's only if you buy the dress from us. Then she told me that if I wanted to get it pressed that I needed to take the dress home with me and bring it back 2 weeks before the wedding, because they didn't have enough storage space for it. I opted out of having it pressed by them, especially since I feel that if you do the alterations then you should press the dress afterwards, the lady who did the alterations told me that those types of wrinkles occur during the alterations process... you made the wrinkles, you should get rid of them. I was able to Steam the dress at home for free and it looked perfect, no thanks to the finishing work from mayfair. I would have been more satisfied if they had been upfront about all the additional fees instead of telling me about the treatment they give costumers who purchased their dresses there when I was very specific about the fact that I had purchased my dress elsewhere

I had a wonderful experience with Mayfair and all of the sales associates that worked with me. They are very efficient and know what they are doing. Walking into the shop may be overwhelming, but if you know what you want they pull some amazing dresses for you to try on. Other boutiques that I went to try dresses on were very pushy and I never felt that from anyone at Mayfair which was greatly appreciated! My dress was gorgeous and I absolutely fell in love with it. The alterations job that they did at Mayfair was exceptional and they were willing to meet with me more than once to go over the complicated bustle.

Mayfair is an outstanding wedding dress shop. Their location is not as glamours as some but their selection of dresses cannot be beat. You must set up an appointment because they have limited space and this ensures an attendant to help you try dresses on. I brought in a few magazine cut outs and they actually had all the dresses in their stock. Also, their prices and service is really great. I would recommend this salon to any bride. My dress was absolutely beautiful. I had so many compliments and it brought tears to my husbands eyes the first time he saw me.

I walked into Mayfair bridal without an appointment. They immediately helped me out and by the third dress I found my dream dress. They were very professional and nice.

My experience with the staff at Mayfair bridal was really good. They had patience with the dresses I tried on and I choose the right dress from them. They were on time with the arrival of the dress, the alterations were great and friendly staff.

Mayfair Bridal was the second dress shop I went to, and they blew me away at how amazing they were. They had so many dresses in a smaller space. My dress came in when they said it would, and it was gorgeous! Jasmine helped me and she was the sweetest. My mom also purchased her dress from here and she loved it.

My twin sister found her dress here years ago, so I decided to follow in her footsteps and do the same. I told the lady (I can't remember her name but she is shorter with brown, shoulder-length hair and a lovely accent, she also helped my sister so has been here a while) what I wanted and literally the very first dress is the one I knew was THE dress. You can't buy the first dress though...so I tried on others, and several were very beautiful. I did my due diligence and went to two other stores. The very LAST dress I tried on in the 3rd store was the first dress, THE dress, from Mayfair. Except it was less expensive at Mayfair and I really liked the lady that helped me at Mayfair better. So I went back to Mayfair and bought THE perfect wedding dress...I didn't need any alterations except a bustle, and they did a beautiful job. The pressing was lovely and everything was exquisite and ready when it was supposed to be.

Mayfair Bridal was excellent. I had went to Mayfair first, and then two other dress stores and went back to Mayfair to purchase my dress. The had a great selection at affordable prices. The staff was friendly and made sure you were happy.

The ladies provide amazing customer service! They do not pressure you to buy a dress the first day. Although they are slightly expensive on cleaning and alterations the service is worth every penny.

I went to another lady named Blanca, to her home on the far south side, recommended by "idothe dressido.com". Don't go to Blanca. She does a sloppy job. Mayfair Bridal rescued my dress from Blanca's mess, and in an amazingly emergency timely manner. Excellent job!

I went with Mayfair because they were one of the select few who carry the designer I was looking for (pronovias). Jasmine is AWESOME!!! She knows how to make you feel special and treats you right. The whole bride experience from Mayfair is impeccable. The only reason I knocked off a star is due to the alterations on the bridesmaid dresses. The dresses were a little tight (just the way they are made). So we requested to have the slit moved up from 1 inch to 3 inches. When we got the dresses back (2 days before the wedding), we noticed they had closed the slit entirely shut. I started to PANIC. No one had the time to pick them up the next day because of errands. The owner of the store personally delivered them to me during my air brush session. That was great service! BUT, the morning of the wedding we noticed that the slit was opened on the exterior and they completely forgot to open the slit on the slip (inner part of the dress). Which defeats the whole purpose of creating a slit in the first place. Luckily, my mom used to be a seamstress and was able to fix the dresses. But when you are paying for these specific alterations, you expect them to come out as perfect as the wedding dress.

Angelica at Mayfair was just amazing. I stumbled into Mayfair to search for bridesmaid dresses when we absolutely fell in love with the owner. she made us feel right at home and right then and there i knew we had to use them as my bridal gown vendor. I cant tell you how many times we went into the store or called and Angelica always made us feel welcome and eased our crazy wedding planning minds. we also bought our Laso and a bracelet i used during the wedding. I would recommend everyone to use Mayfair. Very professional, patient and kind people.

Mayfair Bridal doesn't look like much on the outside and the inside is cramped with dresses, but I was able to make a last minute appointment and give Angelica some pictures of dresses I liked. She pulled several that were exactly the ones I saw in the magazines and helped me try them on. I ordered my dress that day. She suggested some different things that I could change on my dress to cater it more toward my theme and make it a one of a kind. Once my dress came in they did all of my alterations as many times as necessary so that it fit perfectly on my wedding day. I'm still getting compliments on my dress 2 weeks later and I can't wait to see the professional photos. I loved Mayfair so much that I took my daughter up there to buy her prom dress which they also altered. (she's only 5'1" with a very large chest and didn't like the sash that was on it originally). She still loves the dress and none of the other girls had one like it. I would recommend Mayfair to anyone looking for a special dress whether it's for prom, wedding, or bridal party. The staff was always fantastic and helpful unlike some of the other places I tried. Check it out and ask for Angelica.

All the staff at Mayfair Bridal are professional, curteous and extremely helpfull. Yasmine is the one who actually found my dress for me. I went in with a couple of pictures and designers, but nothing exactly like I wanted, because I had not seend what I had wanted...yet! I explaining what I was looking for. Yasmine pulled several dresses for me. I found one that I really loved, but I wanted to had some of my own touches to it. I explained what I wanted to add, asked it they could do it, of course they could, and it turned out better than I had ever dreamed of! My dress was gorgeous and one of a kind. My bridesmaids even commented on how professional and curteous all the staff was. Everyone was so helpful in assisting me and my bridal party. Thanks Mayfair Bridal!

Mayfair Bridal in San Antonio was such a good experience buying my wedding dress. The ladies who work there were nothin but nice, sweet, and do very helpful! I actually went to this shop right after finding a dress that I loved at another store. I didn't tell them that right away but they knew only a few minutes intoy appointment that something was up. After sharing that I had found a dress I liked --Casa Blanca--they found it and put it back on me. They gave me a better price and since I live out town they allowed me to have alterations done in one day a few months later when my dress came in. The alterations were amazing! That can always be so scary when they have to start snipping and chopping but they made my dress fit perfect! I couldn't have had a better experience

Great bridal shop. I'm only 5'0" so needless to say I had quite a few alterations to my dress to make it fit perfectly. I liked how the alterations had a price cap! They were very friendly and nice to work with!

Such wonderful service! The ladies here are absolutely fantastic to work with and were extremely patient and that helps when making a decision as big as a wedding dress purchase. They would offer their suggestions and opinions when asked and made me feel so comfortable. Alterations were spot on and my dress fit me like it was made just for me on wedding day! So impressed! My mom and I went to about 4 other dress shops in SA and none compared to Mayfair. They are the absolute best. The SA, Tabitha, found my gorgeous dress for me and was helpful every step of the way.

I can't say I was overly "wowed" by Mayfair but I did find my dress there and was very happy about that. Its a small store and the dresses are crowded so tightly together, when you in have an idea in mind of what you want to try on so the consultant can get the dresses. Alterations were okay. They cap it at $270, which is good because my dressed needed the work done. I was slightly disappointed when I ordered my veil and was never told it came in. When I went to pick up the dress the consultants had to run around to find it, and do a quick steam on it since it was still in the original packaging. Worth the trip to try on dresses but don't expect exceptional service.

Mayfair Bridal was fair and courteous to me. They have a beautiful selection of dresses. The owner provided her undivided attention to my dress, and made an alteration vision that I had in my head come to reality. Her seamstress was able to do the re-do the entire top of the dress seamlessly... it was beautiful and job well done.

Mayfair Bridal did a phenomenal job. Their owner, Angelica, and their staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely use them again. Going in the racks of dresses can be overwhelming. I would recommend looking online and in magazines and bringing in photos of what you are interested in. Show them to them and let them go to work. They are very good at finding what you want and finding it in your budget.

These wonderful ladies worked with the to find a base gown that would work for the dress I had in my head and then customize it until it was exactly what I wanted!

These ladies altered my dress. The price was the best I could find and they did a great job except that they altered it too small! No, I did not gain weight! It was only a week in a half from the time they measured me till the first fitting. I was able to forgo the undergarments and zip it up so it worked out. I have a weird body shape and I think they just cut to fit a size six instead of contouring it to fit me. I do recommend them.

The service was great. The owner (Angelica) received me, asked patiently what I was looking for and came back with 6 options all in the style and the range of price I wanted. I had to have the dressed reduced and that added an extra cost, but at the end I was looking gorgeous on my dress and my husband loved it. It is not a huge store like other bridals but it has everything you need, good price ranges and a great service.

I looked at many places and tried on countless dresses before coming to Mayfair Bridal. I couldn't have been happier to have found this place! The girl who helped me look recommended I try on my dress (even though I wasn't very convinced of it), but the moment I tried it on I told her that I didn't want to try any other dresses (even the ones that were still hanging in the dressing room) because I knew I had found THE dress!!! The fitting and tailoring/alterations were done beautifully and I could not have been more pleased with the final outcome. They are so professional and helpful. I would recommend Mayfair Bridal to anyone planning on finding their dream wedding dress!

I was SOO impressed with Mayfair Bridal. I picked out a dress that I really liked, but I wanted to change the whole top of the dress. They did a phenomenal job on the alterations and it didn't matter how many times I went back and asked for little tweeks to the alterations, they did them with a smile. Tabitha and Angelica were awesome and I LOVED my dress when Mayfair was finished with it. I highly recommend this bridal shop if you are interested in great quality and a personal experience. :-) I also got my veil and headpiece here.
