We went with Laura and the team at Mayfield because it was clear from the start that they were listening. The first conversation we had centered around our values for the wedding and how we could bring those to life together. Everything else flowed from that point and we always knew our highest priorities were kept in mind. Our interfaith relationship, focus on spending quality time, and emphasis on dancing became the centerpiece of a perfect wedding weekend thanks to Laura and Mayfield Events' wonderful team. Logistically, they also did an excellent job connecting us with fantastic vendors, handling difficult communications with the venue, and helping us make decisions when we were lost. It was also obvious to those around us just how well taken care of we were - at one point a bridesmaid said "when I get married hopefully Laura can do it". Our wedding weekend ended up being magical and seamless in large part thanks to the efforts of the Mayfield Events team. Highly recommend!

After vetting several wedding planners, my husband and I were delighted to start working with Laura and her team at Mayfield Events. We had the special task of planning two weddings; one Muslim ceremony that celebrated my husband's Malaysian family's culture, and another "traditional Western" wedding celebration. Planning both Texas weddings from New York, it was an overwhelming process that the Mayfield team made infinitely easier by walking us through each of the steps via lots of Zoom calls, thoughtful worksheets, and eventually in-person meetings. Laura takes a very personal approach to her craft, and she took the time to get to know us so she could really guide our decision-making based on the things we value most. During the creative process for the Muslim ceremony, she and Mitch took extra care to work closely with my mother-in-law to design exquisite floral arrangements and a custom wedding pelamin. They also designed a unique, custom structure which hung over the dance floor that completely transformed the outdoor space where our Western reception was held. The two weddings were completely different, and yet both were perfect reflections of us and our families. Laura and her team also made vendor selection really easy for us. Because of their recommendations, we had an incredible DJ who our friends still comment on (long after the wedding), gorgeous photos, and beautiful (not cheesy!) videos from both events. I would personally recommend Mayfield Events to family members, friends and anyone reading this review. It's the best decision we made for our weddings!

There truly isn’t a review that would even begin to describe how unbelievably amazing Laura and her team at Mayfield Events is. I had never believed that my vision and dream wedding would have come to life more perfectly. Laura, Jessica & Mitch were there for every step of the way to guide me along, help keep me organized and at ease. Once we got to the design phase I honestly threw them the ball with a few specifics and I couldn’t have dreamed of the stunning outcome! From the unbelievable florals decor, the perfectly organized day from start to finish I was moved to tears. I truly felt they were apart of my family and they were just as emotional to see it all put together. I will always cherish our special wedding day thanks to this incredible team.

This review was the hardest to write. How could I possibly capture how incredibly grateful my husband and I are to Mayfield Events in the allotted 3500 characters. Shortly after I got engaged, I knew I needed to find a month of wedding planner. I interviewed 6 planners and knew right away Laura was the one. Our conversation was short but I instantly felt at ease. She was personable, kind, down to earth and clearly had a passion for what she does. Throughout the planning process, Mayfield Events was always available and happy to help with any questions even though I had only signed up for month of services. Whether it was vendor recommendations or timing of events, they were always quick to respond and never made me felt like a bother. And when the dreaded pandemic hit, Laura was there to help walk me through what was completely unknown territory to us both. She so graciously held my hand as my husband and I postponed our wedding not once but twice. Never once did she make us feel guilty despite the setbacks in the planning process. A silver lining in the postponements is that I then got the opportunity to work more with Andrea, another lead planner with Mayfield Events. I’ll admit, I was nervous at first to work with another member of the team but that was short lived. Andrea went above and beyond what I could ever ask for. She frequently checked in, answered my million and one questions, hopped on random calls and truly became such a friend to me. Rounding out this incredible team is Mitch. Going into this process, the floral and design part stressed me out the most. I had such a strong idea of what I wanted but wasn’t sure how to bring it to life. One virtual consult with Mitch and I knew I was in good hands. He is truly a floral genius and such a kind soul. The flowers at the wedding were breathtaking and more than I could have ever dreamed. They had my guests talking about them for weeks. The day of our wedding finally came and the day was perfect. Of course, this is not to say things didn’t come up but that is the magic of a good wedding planner. My husband and I had no idea. We were able to enjoy the day celebrating with our friends and family while Laura and her team worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Thank you Laura, Andrea, Mitch and the whole Mayfield Events team for giving us our dream day!

We will always have so much love for Mayfield Events. Our wedding wouldn’t of been so incredible if it wasn’t for the love and work of Laura, Mitchell, and Andrea. Mitch is such an amazing florist and designer, making our ceremony and reception beautiful, it was so breathtaking. You can tell how much this company cares by how much hard work and attention is put into every detail.

By far the most stellar group of professionals you will ever work with. Organized, scheduled, polite professionals will guide you every step of your special day. They know every vendor and ensure that every detail is executed to your desire. My event as well as every event that I have seen them organize are absolutely beautiful. Every detail is perfect every time. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about Mayfield Events as a whole. My “destination wedding” in my hometown of Denver, CO was made an ABSOLUTE fairytale, thanks to Andrea and Laura. I had the pleasure of meeting them at one of my best friends weddings (amazing wedding again thanks to Mayfield) and amongst the craziness of the day, Laura took the time to talk to me, assure me if I needed any help with my wedding that next year that she and her team were on it, ALL while making my friends wedding perfect!! Fast forward to my personal experience… from the moment we handed over the reigns to the Mayfield team I was able to sleep soundly knowing everything would be done, and it would be done perfectly. The entire planning experience was so enjoyable and so fun because of this amazing team. My wedding day could not have been better, and wouldn’t have been that way without Mayfield. My dress strap even snapped during my reception (too much spinning and dancing) and my girl Andrea quite literally sewed me back into my dress not once, not twice, but three times to ensure that strap stayed…. And did it all on the dance floor while I sipped my Moët. These people quickly became friends and like family and made my entire experience better than I ever could’ve dreamed. We worked with Mayfield Events to plan our 65 person wedding in October. The whole process was so fun and resulted in our perfect day. Every phase of the project is well thought out. Laura and her team provide you with great guidance so you can figure out what’s important to you and then they execute! We really appreciated Laura and her team bringing us paired down vendor lists specific to our goals and budget. It truly made the whole process much more approachable and less stressful. The final product was beyond our wildest dreams. Even being so involved in the selections, seeing everything come together was breathtaking and I know we could never have created the final product without Laura and her team. Andrea, Jayde, Mitch and Laura (and the rest of the team!) were such a joy to be around and we enjoyed the planning process and day of thoroughly with their guidance. I definitely recommend!

My dream wedding was made possible because of Mayfield Events. The level of attention to detail in their planning, meticulous execution of the most gorgeous floral arrangements I've ever seen, and prompt communication made for a virtually stress-free experience. My husband and I are forever grateful to Laura and her team. They truly went above and beyond. My expectations were already sky-high, and they were blown out of the water!

When we first met Mayfield they explained that Laura would be overseeing everything and would handle the wedding day execution but Andrea would be our day-to-day POC and handle rehearsal. We got the top package for their input on vendors and budgeting. When we rescheduled our wedding from 2020 to 2021 they put us on the backburner. In 2021, we really had no calls that we didnt ask for. We repeated details about our wedding many times via email. Andrea was unorganized and showed us we werent important by her lack of effort to keep details straight. The details she asked us to send multiple times were sitting in her inbox. Andrea sent budget tracking sheets that were very inaccurate that we had to call out multiple times. We discovered on our own that we were 10k+ over budget already without having any decor. When we told Andrea, she essentially said if we wanted to stick to our budget we could just have no decor at the wedding, and gave a very weak apology. We told Andrea we wanted things multiple times that she neglected to help with. Andrea got contact info for our wedding party to send out a weekend agenda… she left off 5 people from that group text including the best man and the maid of honor. We then started planning the remaining details on our own. There were so many times we asked for things and Andrea/ team would say “we cant do that”, which then I would go and figure out for myself. We ended about 20k over budget. On wedding day, there were many mishaps that Andrea chose to not handle. First thing in the morning I got a call from the shuttle bus service. They said the card on file didnt go through weeks ago and they needed payment. Andrea then called me to say she forgot to order any mixers for our signature cocktails. Instead of fixing this issue or asking her coworkers to fix the mistake, she asked me to send someone to get them. Andrea came to see me around noon to tell me we are on time. In fact, we werent on time. The vendors were given different schedules and everyone was told to be ready at different times. My wife cried multiple times that morning because she was so stressed that Mayfield missed so many details and werent fixing any of their mistakes. During the reception there were missing details that we specifically confirmed with Laura the week prior, which we noticed but it looked fine and the guests didnt notice. Despite being told Andrea would be there for the whole day, she left around 7pm. She left us with a member of Mayfield we had never spoken to. We were very frustrated that the rest of our night was being left with a planner we had never met/spoken with. Andrea left early for some undisclosed reason, Laura never came at all. The FOTB said he would pay the remaining balance via check on the day of the event and Andrea said that was fine. Nobody ever sought him out to get the check, after the wedding Mayfield sent a passive aggressive email to my wife saying that her father never paid the balance. We looped him in on the email and he explained that nobody ever found him that day to pay, another sign of disorganization. The FOTB then let Mayfield know how upset we all were with their performance. All that we asked for was an apology to the FOTB and to me and my wife. Despite Laura apologizing to the FOTB and saying she would apologize to us, she never did. For potential clients: be aware of these things if you do book and make sure you get what you paid for.

If you want the most seamless wedding day, look no further!! I found Mayfield Events through some friends, and the more people I told about them, the more great feedback I got. I love to plan, so I hired them for month of/day of planning. I worked with Andrea, Jayde, and Stephanie closely to get everything squared away. Whether in person or virtually, they were also so professional and helpful. There were so many last minute questions the month of that I likely wouldn’t have thought about or thought about too late if not for Mayfield Events. They were the point of communication for all vendors, and that was a HUGE weight off my shoulders. I would have had many more breakdowns if not for them taking the lead.

Where do I even begin? There are truly no words to describe how incredible Laura and her team are. Not only was Laura the MOST incredible planner that we could’ve ever asked for, but she has also become a friend. Laura and the Mayfield events team are extremely intentional with the wedding planning services they offer. They truly take the time to get to know not only what you want, but who you are as a person, and as a couple. We unfortunately had our original wedding date planned for June 2020, which was the peak of Covid. Of course, I as a bride was distraught. Not only did we move our wedding once, but TWICE. Laura and her team planned 3 different wedding days for us like it was nothing. Through an incredibly difficult time, the Mayfield events team was our rock. My husband and I decided that we wanted to still get legally married on our wedding day, and amazingly, Laura Mayfield was the one who married us. She was our wedding planner, and now our officiant too! The one thing we will tell every couple planning a wedding, is how crucial a planner is. Thanks to laura and the Mayfield team, after 2 long years of waiting due to Covid, we had the most incredible wedding day day we could’ve dreamed of. We are more grateful than words! If you are on the fence about who to hire, we whole heartedly can assure you that you can trust Laura and the Mayfield events team. We love them and are so blessed by all they did for us!

Truly the best ever! We absolutely adore Laura, Andrea, and the whole team at Mayfield Events. They are communicative, well connected, caring, and incredibly capable. We especially loved how they cared about what we cared about, and built our event around our values--not their own. From the day we booked them until after our big day, Mayfield Events truly held our hands in the wedding planning process. On the first day, Laura put together an itemized budget for our personalized dream wedding and helped us to understand all the costs realistically. When we were choosing vendors, she would send us a few options that she believed suited our preferences and would then interview our favorites alongside us. Andrea accompanied us to cake tastings and venues, and she even bargained with our vendors for good deals. Mitchell took charge of our flowers and delivered the most amazing floral chandelier and cascade bridal bouquet. Everyone on the team spent countless hours on the phone with us, meeting us at cafes, walking us through venue tours, emailing us, and so much more. We planned our entire wedding during Covid, and Laura and Andrea always reassured us that it was all going to work out. We cannot express enough how lovely they were from start to finish. We actually loved them so much, we hired them to plan and manage our rehearsal dinner as well, which Andrea took over and totally nailed. We also hired them to live-stream our wedding to everyone who couldn't make it due to Covid, and the stream was top notch quality. On the day of our wedding, everything went perfectly smoothly and according to plan, all thanks to the army of wonderful people at Mayfield Events. Mayfield Events was our favorite vendor and we consider them friends. They are so supportive, knowledgable, and professional and we recommend them with gusto!

I used Mayfield Events for month-of-coordinator and floral services, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with! The entire team was so professional and organized throughout the entire process. Every detail was executed perfectly, and they made me feel so reassured on my wedding day (which is a lot for a COVID wedding). They were accommodating at every step of the planning process and answered all of my questions/follow-ups so quickly for months on end- really made my life easier in the chaos of everything. They were worth every penny and more!

From the first day of meeting with Laura I was convinced our wedding day would be perfect! After many months of planning, even with a rescheduled wedding, our day was everything I imagined and more! Words can't explain how grateful we were for Laura and all the hard work she did for us. I am honestly in awe of Laura and her team. From our first phone conversation to even after the wedding day, Laura and her team have been the most amazing people to work with. I came into looking for a wedding planner quite a bit into the planning process - I realized I couldn’t do it on my own any longer and needed help. I am very particular about how I want things to be - I value a high level of organization and want to always feel like I can trust others I am working with, so choosing the right Wedding Planner was very important to me. Laura and her team throughout the whole planning process were SO patient with me. They reassured me when I needed it (I needed it a lot lol) and were supportive of me through all of my decisions. They have been the most gracious people, and honestly I just can’t say enough how great it was to work with them. One thing that really stood out to me from Laura and her team was that they had my best interest in mind at all times. I saw it during the planning process, and see it even more now as I think back to everything. On the Wedding day, they had me with absolutely no stress - I knew going into it that they were in control and I wouldn’t have to worry about one thing. The day of the wedding, they completely blew my expectations out of the water. I didn’t even know what time it was majority of the day because I had Laura there walking me through every step and ensuring that I was on track for everything. Furthermore, Laura and her team did my floral. And wow, its been a couple weeks since the wedding and I am still dreaming about it. Walking into the reception seeing the floral for the first time, I was in shock. Honestly it was the most beautiful display of flowers I have ever seen in my life. I cannot praise their skills enough with the floral arrangements. It was absolutely incredible. If there is one decision that I am forever grateful I made, its hiring Laura and her team. The wedding went beautifully with them there, and truly feel so blessed to have worked with them!

Where do I even begin? Mayfield Events is simply is the BEST. Everyone on their team is amazing. Our wedding was absolutely perfect because of Mayfield Events and we couldn't be more grateful! We did not feel any stress at all throughout the whole process because of this incredible team. They took on so many roles and have so many great suggestions. They make wedding planning so much fun and honestly we enjoyed every minute! We miss this team so much and we just got married in January 2020! Now...when is our next reunion? We love y'all!!

It is my upmost pleasure to get to write this review. BRIDES, look no further. If you are reading this you just found your wedding planner and your floral and decor team. I cannot recommend Laura and her team enough. I didn't find Laura until a few months before my wedding and if you have the opportunity to work with her from the beginning DO IT- SHE'S WORTH IT. Wedding planning for me had become a burden, and Laura stepped in and turned that around for me. She gained my trust during our very first phone call, and it was because of her sincere nature. From this phone call forward, there wasn't a moment that I didn't feel valued, heard, or cared for by her and the rest of her team. To her, I wasn't just another client and this wasn't just another wedding. She saw me as an individual and she didn't lost sight of the fact that this is my only wedding. With this, she got to know me and my fiancé, she took time to learn what our values were, and what mattered most to us on our day and then she made it happen. She sat with me and dreamed with me, she supported me during the ups and downs. She helped me set healthy expectations for our wedding day, and she did everything and then some, to set me up well for the day of. Fast forward to our wedding day- things were seamless. To this day- if something went wrong, I can sincerely tell you I do not know about it. In many ways, Laura slowed down the day for me so that I could fully be present in it. She made sure it wasn't a blur, which I communicated to her was important to me. She was thoughtful, professional, and everything in between. I say this about Laura, but it is true of her entire team. They felt like friends day of and because of the relationships we built during wedding planning- there are memories I have of her team that day, that still make me smile as I process March 7th. With joy and kindness, Jen and Clemence held the train of my dress as I was about to walk down the isle and they kept me calm (think about how big that is- they are some of the last people that are with you right before your big moment- and they didn't make me feel alone. They weren't checked out or simply going through the motions of their job- they were present with me). I have a memory with Mitch, who is a part of her design team as he was adding greenery to a stair case in our venue. He shared in the joy of our day with me, and he made my visions and dreams come to life. Mayfield Events took the venue I fell in love with and they made it my own by perfectly bringing to life the dreams and ideas that I had in my mind. They took care of me, my family, and our guests and they have been in NUMEROUS conversations as others have raved to us about how well they did and how they would recommend this team to anyone. My parents and my husbands parents can't stop talking about them, and as a bride I miss this team. That is saying something. If you've read this far- hopefully you can feel the sentiment that I am feeling as I write this. I adore this team. They have left their mark on me and I am forever thankful that I got the privilege to work with them.

Hiring Laura was simply the best thing I did for myself during the planning process. I wanted someone that I could bounce ideas off of, someone that could help me if I was torn between two choices, and someone that could tell me when I was maybe leaning the wrong way with something (lol) and she absolutely did amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better team behind me on my day. Andrea, Stephanie, and Jen were super helpful and super sweet. I got SO MANY compliments on my wedding; people said it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to!

From our first phone call, I was impressed with Laura Mayfield Events. She knows her stuff, walked me through the process, and she kept me at ease. I hired Mayfield Events for month-of coordination for our wedding at the Perot Museum and I would highly recommend them to anyone! She had calls with all of my vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. I had a specific vendor who was VERY slow to respond and was a huge stressor to me. Thank goodness for Andrea who follow-up called and emailed the vendor daily and spoke to higher management of the vendor until we got a response!! From start to finish, I could not be happier with my experience with Laura Mayfield.

I was a delusional bride who thought I had everything in the bag. My future mother-in-law was extraordinarily organized, and we could plan my massive 330 guest wedding without the help of a professional wedding planner. About 50 days out from my big day- sleep was non existent. My mind kept running around in circles thinking of the tiny details that needed to be addressed and praying that everything would just work itself out. Then I realized that my very expensive big day could be derailed if somewhere along this complicated road we dropped the ball. It was time to face the facts- I couldn't do this on my own. Everyone I spoke to about wedding planning kept name dropping Mayfield Events. Jason and Laura Mayfield. You need to contact them. Trust me. They'll take all of the stress away and you can focus on getting married. If I could go back in time- I would've listened to all of those wise friends and made the call so much sooner. In comes Laura who waves a magic wand. She meticulously covers every square inch of an event (including important details that were no where on my radar.) She knows precisely how every aspect works, and she has relationships with every vendor in the market. A few brief meetings with her and the weight of the world had been lifted off of my shoulders. She was taking care of absolutely everything with careful efficiency. Due to my delay in pulling the trigger on hiring a wedding planner, my new fairy Godmother, Laura, was already committed to another event on my wedding day. Her trusted associate Christina would take care of everything. (I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bummed that my new BFF wasn't going to be there, and I'd have to bond with someone else- but lo and behold.... another extraordinary talent.) Christina was every bit as organized, thorough, pleasant, brilliant, experienced as the angel before her. No matter what I threw at Christina, she would confidently look at me and say, "I've got it covered." From a week out to 5 minutes before "I do" I felt so secure in how my ceremony & reception would transpire because I had my secret weapon, Christina, overseeing the whole day from top to bottom. Her calming presence and confident demeanor provided me with so much reassurance. I kept thinking, "I want to be like her." So put together. So thoughtful. So on top of things. My wedding day went off without a hitch. My ceremony was beautiful and sacred. My reception was magical. My family & friends had a blast. My special day was everything I ever could have imagined and more. And it might not have been so, if I didn't wise up and make the call to Mayfield Events. Hire Mayfield events for your big day. My husband and I loved working with Laura and her team when planning our wedding! Laura went above and beyond to meet with us on multiple occasions and when meeting with a few of our vendors to ensure everything would go smoothly on the day of the wedding. We worked with Laura not only for wedding planning, but also for her floral and decor services. We absolutely loved our floral and decor! I truly can not say enough AMAZING things about Laura Mayfield and her team. Best decision we could have ever made!!! I was so unsure as to whether we needed a planner but honestly - the best choice we could have ever made. I tell all of my friends to most definitely hire a planner and to hire Laura! Not only is she professional, organized and knowledgeable - she is passionate, creative, kind and loving. She wants your day to be perfect for you and will go to extreme lengths to make that happen. We had a terrible severe thunderstorm blow through and ruin our entire setup and venue. We were devastated. However - Laura SAVED our day. She had a Plan A, B, C, D and E!!! There really are no words that could ever do justice on how I feel about Laura Mayfield, Mayfield Florals and her entire team! I hired Laura and her team for month of planning as well as Mayfield florals, and it was the absolute BEST decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Laura is kind, considerate, and listens to everything you say and then makes your dreams a reality. I really could not put into words what my vision was of my perfect day and Laura asked all of the right questions to help me figure it out. My fiancee (and mom) loves Laura as well. When I would start to worry about something, he would tell me to call her so I would feel better and he was correct-within 1 minute, my mind was put at ease. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect in our eyes. We had no idea if there was anything going on behind the scenes that needed to be taken care of-it just was. This let me enjoy the day and not have to think about anything except having the happiest day of my life. My wedding was an absolute dream come true, and Laura is the reason, other than my now husband of course. If asked if someone should have Laura Mayfield as their wedding planner, I would scream out loud "YES, AND DO NOT WAIT ONE MORE MINUTE!"

I inquired about several people’s opinions regarding Mayfield Events before I finally made the decision to book them. It is pretty difficult to make such a big decision so quickly for a day you’ve dreamt of forever! As expected, each person had wonderful things to say about Laura and her team, but of course you want everything to be perfect when it comes to YOUR wedding day! I am a pretty picky person that knew what she didn’t want but I wasn’t quite sure what my vision was…and we only had 5 months to plan! After meeting with Laura for the first time, it didn’t take her long to figure out Dane and I’s personalities. She immediately had ideas that captured the two of us individually and together. The flowers were something that were of big importance to me. I was persistent on them including my Nana’s favorite flower because she had passed several years ago and I wanted a piece of her with me on one of the most important days of my life. Laura requested a couple of mock-ups with Jen to ensure I was 100% pleased with all of the flower arrangements and the overall decoration layout. I truly appreciated these ladies insisting I do this because everything turned out beautifully and we could not have been more pleased with the final result! The Mayfield Events team work very well together and with their couples to ensure and deliver high quality production! P.S. It had rained off and on for several weeks in Texas, even causing some areas to flood…and our ceremony was outside! Laura left the venue, drove to town, purchased a shop-vac, and vacuumed up the pools of water where our guests would be sitting. If that is not DEDICATION, then I don’t know what is!

Laura Mayfield did an amazing job for our wedding at the Marie Gabrielle Gardens. We hired her as a day-of-coordinator. She advocated for us and supported us during our conversations with vendors, offered great advice on preferred vendors based on her experience, and also was a friendly person to talk to for bouncing ideas. Also, she has a great personality and is very easy to talk to while she’s getting to know you as a person. Understanding your needs is what matters the most to her, and she bases her suggestions on you. During our wedding, she also found a problem and corrected it very quickly without even bringing it to our attention! Her top priority is for the wedding to go as smoothly as possible and she genuinely cares for her clients. As an example, when people were coming to see us while we were eating dinner, she politely told people to give us some space so we could enjoy our own food! It’s the little things that matter. I can’t stress enough how much Laura helped us with the flowers, decorations for our mehndi ceremony, and consolidating everything into her portal. People continue to talk about our wedding, and major credit goes to Laura and her team for making it all happen.

I have absolutely no doubt or worries the entire wedding planning process with Laura. I knew from that moment "she's got this down" -- which is exactly what she delivered. She was always there to lend a solution to whatever issue had come up, between dealing with vendors to figuring out logistics of the wedding day. The day of went flawlessly, of course, there were hiccups with vendors behind the scenes but Laura made sure to handle and fix with ease-- so we or any guests didn't even notice! Laura and her team were amazing! We hired them for "month of" planning and she was an absolute life saver. My mom passed away 5 weeks before my wedding and Laura made sure that all of the plans we had made together were executed flawlessly. Laura and her team were the best decision that we made for our wedding day. Myself and my husband were in different states when planning the wedding (which made it even more difficult) but Laura was up for the challenge. She made time for frequent Skype calls and text messages- and made us feel like we were with her even though we were many miles away. Laura has a way of making everyone feel so at ease, and made wedding planning a joy rather than a burden. On the day of the wedding Laura took care of absolutely everything- which made our parents VERY happy, as most parents have to be stressed and constantly help out during the ceremony and reception. Instead, ours were able to relax and have fun because Laura and her team took care of everything. Laura is such a sweet and loving person and I believe was called to be a wedding planner. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Laura Mayfield is. In my eyes, she is a magician. She managed everything for my wedding flawlessly. Always willing to help with every little detail and, though she may not remember everything you tell her, she writes everything down so she always has a record of it and executes perfectly on the day of the wedding. Throughout the year and a half of planning she talked me off ledges, helped me through every little thing and when the day finally came, I did not have to think about anything. She had it all covered and she still managed to be there with a drink refill for me every time I turned around. I don't know how she does it, but she is incredible and I would highly suggest her for any wedding. I know my sisters will be going to her when they get married. Could not be more impressed.

Not only that, but we wanted to make sure we didn't forget anything. When we came to Laura, the only thing we had set was the venue and the date. She and her team gave us a selection of vendors (catering, DJ, transportation, photography, and hair/makeup) and then put us in touch with our top picks so we could make a final decision. Not only that, but Mayfield Events took care of our invitations, florals, and desserts (mini cupcakes!). Laura was so professional and responded to my texts/calls/emails very promptly. She was organized and had an online portal that was very helpful. It had all the vendor contact information, a giant checklist with all the things we needed to take care of, and vendor contracts. We had multiple meetings over the phone and in person leading up to the big day. Come wedding weekend, Laura took care of our rehearsal and had timelines for every single person of the wedding party and family, so everyone knew exactly what they had to do and at what time and where. My bridal party was very impressed by how organized and smooth everything was. On the day of the wedding, Laura and her team were by our side throughout the entire wedding. We stuck to our timeline within about 10 mins margin of error and never felt rushed or stressed out. If there were any issues during the wedding, my husband and I had no idea because Laura either handled it quickly or word of it never reached us! So we were able to enjoy our wedding to the fullest. Hiring Laura was hands down the best decision we made towards wedding planning. I don't know how we could've handled the whole thing without her and her amazing team. <3

Mayfield Events- and its owner, Laura Mayfield, went above and beyond during our whole wedding process. Laura has a great, cohesive team that will exceed your expectations from start to finish. As the days drew closer, my stress levels begun to rise and I felt so overwhelmed and stressed. Again, here was Laura Mayfield to my rescue – reassuring me that everything was on-track and will be okay. Although I could stop here in my review, I think it is important you know about every aspect of this wonderful business. Upon meeting Laura for the first time, I already knew that I had selected the right planner; she was so welcoming, attentive, and organized. As the months went by she established a timeline of what needed to get done including major milestones. Anytime I had doubts or seemed lost, Laura was always there via text, email, or an impromptu visit. I do not know if you will find this in other wedding planners. Did I mention to get a wedding planner, yet? If I have yet to convince you about Mayfield Events, let me go into the actual day. My favorite part. Laura and her team were so calm and reassured me that everything would look magical (and it did). Even with only a few days left, I gave Laura several boxes with picture frames, candy for our candy bar, and additional décor that was setup so beautifully without little input from me. Laura just has that “eye” and puts her unique touch on everything/anything you give her. Also, Laura also brought her photo booth which was AMAZING! Everyone complimented how fun her props and signs were…like the best props! They even make a photo book with all the guests’ pictures. Our guests really enjoyed this photo booth. The DJ services were awesome too! Her husband, Jason, does the voicing to introduce the bridal party and he does an exceptional job. He is very articulate and has a great voice. After a while, Laura then takes over as DJ – another awesome skill set that Laura has. We (our families and guests) had such a good time. I still get compliment after compliment on how beautiful and fun our wedding was. Many say it was the best wedding they've ever been to which makes me feel so good. Most of these compliments deserve to go to Laura and Mayfield Events. I couldn't have done it without them. Laura and her team have a gift and will continue to have so much success. Not only are they good at their job, but they are GREAT people. People who are caring, loving, and genuine people. They realize that investing in them is a serious commitment, and they will make sure you are 100% happy on your special day. Last, but not least, the BEST part of the night was when I was worried about the location of my cell phone. I know it was somewhere in the bridal suite, but could not recall. I immediately gave Laura the details of my phone and she went to go look. As Randy I proceeded to do our sparklers, Laura taps me on the shoulder and says, “Okay, bags are in the car and cell phone is in the cup holder.” At that point I knew I had made one of the best decisions in my life- well in addition to marrying Randy, but that I made a new friend in Laura Mayfield and Mayfield Events.
