My bridal consultant for my wedding dress was Amy and she was amazing! The dress I chose I never would have tried on if she didn’t have me do it, but I ended up loving it. Alterations were quick and came out great. Tux rentals also were a pretty seamless process! It was great being able to do all this at the one location.

Even though I did not find "the one" (dress) at MB bridal the consultant was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have a huge selection of dresses, maybe too many to go through on 1 visit. I felt the prices for wedding dresses were reasonable for the types of dresses I was interested in. However, I live over an hour away so when I didn't find one I loved on my first visit I couldn't justify going back for a second look especially when I found other dresses minutes from my house. I also looked at their bridesmaids and MOB dresses and felt they were very expensive for what they were, sorry but being honest. Though they do have promotions a lot so that's a plus. Overall, I would recommend checking out this salon as the selection, prices (other than bridesmaids, MOB dresses), and customer service are amazing.

I did not love my experience at MB Bride. I'm from Pittsburgh and went there for a wedding trunk sale they were having. I bought my wedding dress at the sale, and got a great deal (it was about $600). The dress fit me great, and the sales associate estimated that I would only need about $250 worth of alterations (mainly, it needed hemmed and a bustle. I'm pretty average sized (5'6" 135 pounds) so we're not talking anything extensive). That sounded reasonable to me and I thought this sales associate could be trusted, so I made an appointment with the alterations department of MB Bride. I went to the appointment, expecting to pay about $250. After I drove an hour to the appointment and the seamstress spent a good half hour pinning the dress on me, I learned at the check-out counter that the alterations were going to cost $515. I was stunned, as this was almost the price of the dress! Looking back, I should have said no thanks and went somewhere else, but I felt like they had me at that point. So I sucked it up and paid the price. When I went to my follow-up appointment, I did not feel comfortable in the dress. It felt too long on me, and I had great concerns about tripping in it. The seamstress brushed me off, and said that's how the dress was supposed to look. Fast forward to the wedding day, and the length of the dress was in the back of my mind the whole day. I also had issues with a strap staying up on my shoulder, and the bustle to my gown did not lay flat. For the price of $515, I expected better. So here's my advice to brides: Go to MB Bride to buy the dress but think twice before you get it altered there. At least don't be as naive as me!

I feel comfortable writing this review now that the dress is in my possession. My trying on experience was amazing and no ‘real’ complaints here. Aside from the fact that we were not informed that there was a time limit on dress trying on. It wasn’t until we had several dresses left that we were told our time was almost up, and the last set of trying on came down to holding them up on a hanger and saying yes or no via just looking at them as opposed to trying them on. Yes, I got my dream dress here, but what if the dream dress was not tried on and determined via a look? I’ll never know. I ordered my dress the first week of February. It didn’t come in until first two weeks of September. My wedding was in October. When I went to try on the consultants very much made it seem like it was my fault that I was trying on my dress so late. I had complaints about my dress digging into my shoulders and was told that it was too late to do anything about it now and “maybe” alterations could fix it. The consultant tried ripping the fabric to give it slack but it kept digging into my shoulders. Again I was told it was up to alterations to see if they could make it more comfortable. I have bad eating disorder tendencies and have been working with a personal trainer for months. I said I was still cutting and thinning out for wedding and asked when was a good time to maintain my figure and not cut down anymore. I was basically lectured and told I should’ve been getting fitted weeks ago, and should be on my last fitting as opposed to the first. That it’s way too late to make big changes. It wasn’t until I said that the dress just came in that the consultant got off my back about simply inquiring. I then inquired about how to get alterations. I was told I needed to immediately call the alterations when I left the shop but no guarantee on me even getting an appointment as they book far out. I immediately called and they couldn’t even get me in until two weeks before the wedding. They then informed me I’d be charged a rush fee since it was so close to the wedding ???? As if it was my fault the dress just came in ???. I’d understand if I ordered the dress in like July or something but to order it in February and pay in full and get treated like I slacked off on getting fitted and getting alterations? Alterations definitely made my hopes move up for this place being lackluster all around. They immediately said fixing the straps would be no problem. They listened and said my requests were easily fixed. Final fitting went great, no issues. Wedding day went great although the bustle broke very quickly. I was left to carry my heavy dress and having people step on the train continuously or trip over it. And yes, I had deep red cuts on my shoulders from the dress straps. Luckily I had enough alcohol in me that I didn’t notice the pain until the end of the night.

While I will say, I did find my dream gown here and that is the only reason I am even giving this place 2 stars, I would definitely warn brides before shopping here. I had a consultant- Caitlyn, and while I did explain to her what I wanted, I do not believe I was heard. I explained to her multiple times that I did not want a gown that had off the shoulder long sleeves and she continued to bring these styles of gowns back to me until she did listen and found a gown with how I wanted the sleeves to be. It also felt more like she was out to get a sale, than she was about my happiness. Again, I LOVED my gown, but she was a little too pushy for my liking. The alterations department also had over a month to begin alterations and still called me a day before my second fitting saying they were not ready and asked if I could come back the following week to have my second fitting. As someone who works 2 jobs, I have to request days off far in advance to make things work. I was extremely unhappy over the fact that they asked this of me, being they had quite a bit of time already. I honestly was concerned they were going to call me and ask me to move my wedding to the following week because they were not going to have my dress ready in time. I understand they have other gowns to prioritize however I do not appreciate being given an appointment and it not being stuck to. It honestly felt like I was not important and that they took my money and they could have cared less at that point. Please, if you are going to shop for a bridal gown, look elsewhere before looking here., let alone have your gown altered here. It will save you a lot of time and hassle later on.

I loved my experience at MB Bride, I had gone to a bride show a few weeks before and met with Caitlyn. She was so sweet and when I told her I loved Maggie Sottero gowns she said I should make an appointment during the trunk show. So when I arrived I wasn’t as nervous as I thought due to already knowing my consultant. I had a list of dos and don’ts and Caitlyn was amazing about listening to the styles I wanted. Caitlyn was so wonderful and patient with me, she told me to keep a top 3 which really helped narrow down my decisions. We tried on 15 dresses but I kept going back to my second, which became my wedding dress. I also used MB Bride for my alterations and I had Ira. She was another wonderful experience! I was lucky in that I only needed my shoulder straps tightened and my dress hemmed, along with a bustle put in. Ira was able to do all this and I only ended up needing two fittings. I received so many compliments on my dress the day of my wedding! Thank you MB Bride, Caitlyn, and Ira!!

This was the second stop for my wedding dress search. I had booked the VIP service which offered champagne and I chose the sweet tower. I had an amazing experience working with Emmy. She was patient and kind as well as knowledgeable about all the styles and was very receptive regarding responses to certain dresses. The store had a large selection to choose from and was easier to navigate in comparison to the previous store. However, I would definitely utilize a consultant because they made the experience easy and enjoyable.

I was a bride in 2021 and I purchased my wedding gown and veil from MB Bride. The selection was so large and I had heard so many good things about the salon so I was excited to shop there. I did end up finding my gown and my veil there and I was so excited. However, I did experience several issues along the way. The largest issue being that I received the wrong veil. I had originally selected a long veil that was about the length of my mid thigh. It was the same style, so initially I didn’t notice. On my wedding day I had a list of photos incorporating my veil and none were working and I remember wondering why because it should have been long enough, but with the day being so fast paced and emotional I still didn’t put it together. Only later when I was looking at photos of myself on the day I purchased the veil I wanted did I realize I was given the complete wrong veil. I made several attempts to contact MB Bride, email and phone call, but they ignored me. I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews but I was so disappointed. A veil doesn’t make or break my wedding but I believe you should always get what you pay for.

I had heard nothing but good things about this shop, but was honestly not impressed. The associate that I worked with, Sue, constantly rushed us and made us feel like a burden. We were assigned to work with her for both my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses. One of my bridesmaid actually left in tears since Sue was unwilling to help her find something that she liked and fit her body type. The seamstress was also incredibly difficult to work with and I was still concerned about the fit of my dress the week before my wedding. If you are looking for any type of accessory, be careful - almost all of their veils are ripped! Overall, buyer beware. It was incredibly expensive for lackluster service.

I loved MB Bride! Their selection is unmatched, thry have dresses priced for every budget and the staff is wonderful. THEA was my stylist and she was so supportive and patient! I cannot recommend them enough!

Zoey helped my now husband and I every step of the way. She found the perfect black wedding dress for my Halloween wedding and the perfect white suit for my now husband! Whomever is thinking about going to MB Brides ask for Zoey! She will find what you are looking for!

I found my wedding dress there and the lady that helped me was amazing and super helpful! The week of the wedding we had to do some last minute changes with my husband’s tux and they were very accommodating. (If you get your dress there then the tux rental is free) I do have to say I got my dress altered here and on my wedding night my bustles broke and I had to carry my long dress all night long so the alterations were a disappointment for the money that was paid.

I am so happy I chose MB Bride for my 10-15-22 wedding! I chose my dress and they were very open and forthright about the extended shipping (like most things at this time) and updates on the website . My dress was here in perfect timing and I had more than enough alterations appointments than I needed. Vera was amazing with altering my gown and I had so many complements on my beautiful dress.

When your stylist has the same very unique name as you you know the vibes are on. My dress was perfect and I’m glad she suggested something that I would have never thought of. It was the most flattering dress I tried on out of three locations.

MB Bride was amazing for my wedding dress journey! Angie was an my fairy godmother, she got to know me and ended up picking a dress for me I never ever would have picked for myself. That dress was the one! Angie I can't say how much I loved you enough. Kathy in alterations made me feel so beautiful and special. I appreciated her so much for what she did. the 4 stars is only because the bridesmaids shopping at MB Bride wasn't as amazing as my wedding dress shopping. They had the color down wrong twice and I was very stressed I was going to get the wrong color. No matter how anxious I was they were always there to answer any and ALL questions I had. All in all an amazing experience.

I had a great experience shopping at MB! They helped me find dresses that matched my style and were not pushy about anything, like some other places I went to. My dress came in way quicker than expected!

I got my gown at MB bride after only trying three on! I absolutely loved the selection that they had. My maids got their dresses there as well, and they had a very nice selection of maids dresses! I also used MB for my bridal alterations. The only issue I had with MB is that they accepted the wrong dress for one of my maids and then they told me that it would be reordered and set to her house. After reordering it and sending it, it mysteriously just got lost. After reordering it, I had to come to the store to pick it up. The did offer her discounted alterations, however she lives in Erie and was unable to use them. Thankfully, she did find a great seamstress because they dress was disproportionate. It was too short on the bottom and the seamstress had to take some fabric from the top to make the dress long enough for her. Overall a good experience minus that headache!

I'm so happy I visited MB Bride! Thia was absolutely amazing. She knew exactly which style of dress would suit me best and picked so many great options that I had a really tough time deciding on "the one!" Everyone at MB Bride was super friendly and made my whole group feel included. We didn't even realize until we were going to leave that we ended up staying quite a while past the end of our scheduled appointment time! I would definitely recommend for their selection and consultants!

Susan helped me to find my perfect dress and Cathy altered it to perfection! The store has thousands of options but the experience was really catered to me and I found "the one" easy enough--with a little help of course! We also got the groom/groomsmen attire here. One stop shop!

I didn't end up buying my dress here, but the young woman who helped me try on dresses was very kind and helpful! If you're looking for a princess style wedding dress, this place is for you.

BRIDES PLEASE BEWARE! MB Bride will leave you high and dry before you can even worry about getting stood up at the altar. They’re gaslighting all the other negative reviews, so I’ll give just the facts. They did not communicate unless I called them. I ordered my dress 6 months before my wedding. They told me I was responsible for calling in to check when it had arrived. I call in weekly for 3 months. TWO WEEKS before my wedding, they told me it arrived a week ago. They ordered the wrong size dress. The dress was too tight. (I’m a fitness professional, so my weight had not changed.) I asked if they had ordered the wrong size. They said, “Oh, maybe. That happens sometimes.” They refused to do basic alterations. My hips measure 3 dress sizes larger than my waist size, so there was significant bagginess in the waistline that she said she didn’t need to fix. I requested thin pads in the bust, but the seamstress insisted on putting in large push-up pads and would not change them. They backtracked on my alterations requests. I asked for two specific alterations before even ordering my dress. They said no problem and even sent me pictures to show how they would do it. When the dress came in, they told me the alterations were impossible. (Even after showing them the pictures THEY had sent ME.) They denied production errors in the dress. The lace on the dress arrived crooked, but the seamstress insisted that it was fine (over both me, my mom, and my bridesmaid’s complaints). When it couldn’t be denied any longer, they told me, “No one looks at that part of the dress anyway.” (The entire skirt, mid-bodice and below.) They took the lazy way out to fix mistakes. After finally measuring the lace and admitting it was a full 2 inches off-center, they pulled the center piece of lace off and replaced it, leaving everything else crooked and told me “This will give the illusion that it’s straight.” They took no ownership of their problems. When it became clear that the dress was not salvageable, they asked ME what they should do about it, ONE WEEK before my wedding. I had to be the one to suggest altering one of the sample dresses they have in-store. They tried to make me pay full price for a used gown. Meaning for a gown that is dirty, 4 sizes too large, with wear and tear from months of use, I would be paying the same price as ordering a brand new one in my size. There was no internal communication. I had to reexplain my situation to every person. When I finally got to speak to the manager, she said, “I understand that you’re upset we can’t do the custom alterations you asked for.” We were FAR past that. The point was I DID NOT HAVE A DRESS. They were rude and unprofessional on the phone. Five days before my wedding and still without a dress. I call the manager, Jenn, who says she needs to talk to the owner and will call back in 15–20 minutes. I say, “Okay, I’ll expect your call in 20 minutes.” She responded with a huge scoff and “BYE.” They left me without a dress. Jenn calls back, still without any answers. I request a refund, since it’s clear they have no idea how to fix this. She says, “I feel like we’ve failed you.” Yes, MB Bride. You did.

An amazing shop that goes above and beyond! This was the first shop that I stopped at to look for my wedding dress, and ended up finding the perfect gown for my big day! My bridesmaids and moms ended up purchasing their dresses here too. Great selection of gowns and accessories. Alterations are reasonable and done with such detail!

So happy I found my dream dress here! The best part was Linda during the alteration process. She was so wonderful, kind, and genuinely enjoyed working with me and my friend. Truly was an experience I'll never forget!

Unless you want to gamble whether or not you'll have a dress on your wedding day steer clear.

They had a very large selection. At times I felt rushed to make decisions, but I found the perfect dress and it was on the clearance rack!

While I didn’t buy my dress there, I had a fantastic experience. Shelby was super sweet, and found a lot of beautiful dresses I loved (sadly didn’t find the one though), she did an amazing job staying in my budget with every dress we looked at.

I cannot say enough amazing things about MB Bride with my experience with them so far!! I am a plus sized bride that was dreading the “well we don’t have that in plus size for you to try on” and MB Bride never once made me feel this way. They had MANY plus size samples for me to try and I actually ended up buying my dress off the rack! Kaitlyn was friendly, knowledgeable, and so so so helpful.

I visited MB Bride in May and had the most wonderful experience. My consultant, Ava, was helpful, knowledgeable, and never tried to push me outside my price point. The store was clean and well organized considering how many dresses they have. I brought in pictures of dresses from their website with the dress number on it (I recommend this if you want to try on the specific dress) and Ava found them in no time. Overall, was a great experience and I found my dream dress!

From doing some online searches and pinning, I knew that I wanted a Morilee by Madeline Gardner dress and that MB Bride was a hub that had a ton of their inventory. I was originally scheduled to go during a Morilee trunk show, but alas, covid. When I did get to finally come in, I had a sheet with pictures and names of about four/five of the dresses from her line that I wanted to try. The only struggle I had during shopping was this list, as they said it would be near impossible to single out those dresses and let me know I should walk my way down the Morilee rack and see if there are dresses that look like something I would like. This lead to pulling a few I knew I didn't really know if I would like because I didn't know if we would be able to find the ones I really loved (this is one comment I've seen frequently, so I understand, but it is one thing that would greatly improve the experience). As luck would have it we did find two of my list, one of which ended up being THE dress, so I'm glad I kept searching. Our consultant was great when I mentioned I would love to add straps if possible, and helped find a belt which we would eventually convert into straps. My experience with the alterations department was fantastic! Our seamstress went above and beyond in terms of making the dress even better than I could imagine, adding some beading to the belt that would be my straps, adding FIFTEEN bustles to bring up my train for the reception, and making sure the fit of my dress was perfect so that I would look my best on my wedding day.

I went to MB Bride after visiting 4 other salons in the Philadelphia area for my bridal gown. THIA 😘, my consultant, was absolutely fantastic. She knew her inventory and she listened to everything I wanted in a dress! Her knowledge and expertise lead me to finally say yes to a dress. Very wide selection of gowns for all budgets (low and high). Thanks for all your help THIA!!!

Everyone at MB Bride was wonderful to work with! I picked them because I was looking for a black dress, and they were able to find a variety for me to try on between their bridal and prom department. Even on a busy day, the staff was very helpful finding dresses while my family helped me into them. Their alterations department alone is worth working with! They fitted my dress perfectly and designed a custom overskirt that was not initially part of the dress I had picked.

The choice on dress was easy. Being that my mom works at MB Bride, that was the only stop I wanted to make. Selection is huge, all of the staff is amazing, and I never felt pressured on any decision. I saw my dream dress on their website and just knew it was it. Went in to try it on, cried ugly tears, and the rest was history. My matching Allure veil had all of my guests in awe. Linda did my alterations and she did an absolutely phenomenal job. She basically had to rebuild my dress as I’m so short, the whole bottom needed re-working. I cannot recommend MB Bride enough for any bride who hasn’t found a dress yet! Call and make an appointment with Cathy!

I went to this shop with intentions of just trying on different dresses to get a feel for my style and walked out with my dress! The service was great, the changing rooms are clean and spacious. So glad I came here to get my dress!

They were absolutely fantastic to work with! After explaining to them my horrible experience at the bridal store, they promised that they would give me a wonderful one. And that they did! I was able to say yes to the absolute perfect dress! Plus we picked out all of my bridesmaids, made of honor, and flower girl dresses. It was such a wonderful experience and I would recommend them to anyone!

Easy to work with when finding bridesmaids! MB bride made the dressing shopping process easy and fun. The employees are great to work with and very helpful. I highly recommend.

Visiting this store was the absolute worst decision that I made as part of my wedding planning. Initial dress selection was overwhelming. I was told to pick sample dresses from the floor, having no idea what styles are located where. There isn’t any sort of grouping to the dresses, and I was left to wander the store to find something not knowing where to begin. I had visited the website and had photos of dresses I liked, but was told it would be too difficult to find them in the store. Later, I would come to find that inventory is much more organized in other bridal stores. Eventually, I found a dress and placed a down payment to place the order. Several weeks later, I received a call that the designer no longer made that dress design. I was told I could purchase the sample dress, and they would clean it before my next appointment. When I went to see the dress, I was horrified. It had black markings and holes all over the tulle, the bodice was snagged, and the back along the zipper was brown and dirty from many people trying on the dress. The alterations specialist was rude to me when I pointed out these concerns, dismissing these issues saying that it all looked fined to her. I was disheartened because this sample dress was such a mess and not something I could wear on my wedding day. I reluctantly tried on other dresses, but was left to do this largely alone as the consultant often disappeared and I had to wander through the store, crestfallen trying to find other dresses that may work, not knowing where any similar dresses might be located. I asked the consultant if there were any discounts available to me for a different dress as I thought this was the minimal thing that could be done to try and make my experience right. She then got a manager who came up to see me and had a haughty attitude from the beginning. It seemed to me that the manager did not come to speak with me to listen or understand. I felt like she was very insensitive and displayed a level of rudeness that I had never experienced from anyone in customer service before. When I inquired about a discount, she did not attempt to explain policies or counter negotiate with other things that may compensate for the inconvenience, but called me “ridiculous” for asking. I began to cry because I was so overwhelmed by her disrespect and the whole experience. I felt she was very confrontational. After she insulted me she began to verbally argue with my mother. This was the most humiliating and disrespectful treatment I had ever experienced in a store. When I tried to leave the store, it was evident that the manager had been gossiping to the other employees about me. As I left, they were all huddled, whispering to each other and looking at me. One of them then came over to me in a mocking tone, “Oh you look sad, did you not have a good experience?” I have never been treated so unprofessionally. I eventually found another dress elsewhere, which ended up costing less than what they wanted me to pay for the initial dress that was covered with stains, snags, and holes. They seemed nice when things were going well, but the minute something went wrong, they made things absolutely miserable and treated me like it was my fault, with no attempt to make things right.

I went to multiple places before going to MB Bride and I could not be happier. They helped me find the perfect dress! The rooms to try on dresses are better than most other places, they are private but big enough to look at the dress from all angles with your family/friends. They made sure I was able to get my dress in time to have alterations done. The alterations team was amazing! I had 4 alteration appointments and needed my dress altered a lot and everything was perfect! I suggest going there for your dress and for sure having the alterations done there as well!

I know that the woman who helped me no longer works here but I still have to commend her. I drove out to MB to try on 2 specific dresses from a brand new collection that they had received just days before. Turns out I didn't like how either of them looked on me... Nor did I like any of the other options that I pulled with my friends and family. Finally at the end, she pulled out this sample dress that she INSISTED I try on even though the sample was almost 2 sizes too small. I loved it just like she said I would. We bought and ordered it that day. Thank goodness for her because that dress was seriously perfect and I don't know if I would have even found it without her.

I got my wedding dress and bridesmaid dress from MB Bride. Kristi was AMAZING!!!! She was so patient and really made sure that I got what I wanted in a dress. When you shop with a group it's hard not to feel the pressure and Kristi asked to have time with just me and dressed me up and put me in front of a mirror without anyone around to see how i felt in the dress. That was the one I ended up picking! She was so kind during the whole thing and really made me feel special. Thanks Kristi!! :)

Brides! Please please please do not risk ruining your special day by trusting MB bride with your wedding gown. From day 1, my experience was horrendous- and i was uncomfortable on the biggest day of my life thanks to this company’s incompetence. Shopping, fittings, and alterations were incredibly rushed. I bought my dress during a high-pressure “trunk show” in which my consultant tried to get me to say “yes to the dress” several times while i still had a room full of gowns i wanted to try on. I then waited 6 months for the dress to come in, only to find out that they ordered the dress incorrectly. They then had to “rush ship” (2-3 months)the correct gown- giving me little to no time for alterations. Jen, the store manager, did provide me with a $100 gift card towards a veil- which was a nice gesture, but what I would have appreciated more was alterations that were done correctly. If you have already had the misfortune of purchasing your gown at MB bride- DO NOT purchase the alterations package- it includes next to nothing. You’ll still spend nearly 800$ on alterations due to the fact that they make you order your dress 3 sizes too big, and if you have the same seamstress I did- your dress still won’t fit. First of all- when I went to pick up my dress- I was in tears because it looked AWFUL. She had given me 2 inches of cleavage I didn’t want- and ARGUED with me when I told her i didn’t like it and i had to repeat “i don’t want cleavage, i want to look classy, i don’t want my boobs to hang out” several times before she agreed to make an adjustment to it. She did not allow me to walk around, try to sit down, or even raise my arms to ensure the dress fit properly and i could move in it. the experience was SO Rushed, and i was very disappointed. But the worst part of all- I had to SAFETY PIN and clip my dress to keep it from falling down because it was several INCHES too big in the waist. Why did I pay for alterations if i was going to have to wear clips and safety pins on my wedding day anyway- i could have saved HUNDREDS of dollars. My now husband even had to stop our photographer while we were taking photos with his grandparents to tell me to adjust the dress because it had started falling so low. I had asked the alterations employee about the waist being too big and said i was afraid it would fall down when i moved because it was falling while i just stood there. She must have misunderstood and thought i wanted her to take in the bust area- so she was sure to insult me and tell me I would have back fat if she made the chest tighter. I told her i meant the waist was too loose- and she kept insisting it was “perfect.” She must have been too busy or lazy to care, because it was far from perfect- but she refused to fix it. Everyone -including every other MB bride employee i spoke to about my dress before she got her hands on it- knows that when your dress is strapless- the waist is what holds it up. Well- it does not hold up the dress when you can literally grab THREE EXTRA INCHES of fabric. My biggest concern was that i didn’t want to spend my wedding day pulling my dress up or exposing my chest when I danced. Well- my nightmares came true thanks to MB Bride. You took away my chance to look and feel beautiful on the most important day of my life and you should be ashamed of yourselves. This store should be closed before they have a chance to ruin anyone’s else’s wedding day.

My entire experience with MB Bride was overall chaotic and disappointing. They get 2 stars only because the quality of their dresses and suits are really good, albeit Expensive. I bought my wedding dress here, all 5 of my bridesmaids purchased their dresses here, and my husband and his 5 groomsmen all rented full suits from Modern Tux, within MB Bride. My first visit was a rushed experience in which the consultant brought me dresses that were 2-3 sizes too small on me, so everything looked awful and didn’t fit right. She kept disappearing in between. I’m a size 16, and they advertise on their website that they have plenty of plus sized gowns, but that obviously didn’t seem to be the case. Luckily, I picked out a dress off their website and verified that it was a size that fit me before I came. That was the only dress I tried on that remotely fit me, and again, luckily, it was the one I fell in love with. The consultant measured me, and insisted I order 2 sizes up (the size of the dress i tried on even tho i was absolutely swimming in it) because the shoulders were just a little tight. I allowed her to order me that size because I thought she new what she was doing. I later found out that I should never have ordered that size, and it would’ve cost me nearly the amount of the dress had I got it altered there. I had a family friend do it, and she was furious that they ordered me such a large dress, when it would have been WAY easier just to let out the sleeves. Instead she had to take it in almost 3 sizes! my second visit I make an appointment to bring all my bridesmaids in at the same time to get measured because we live an hour away. I had already picked the bridesmaids dresses out prior to the appointment. It took 3 and 1/2 hours to measure 5 people.. the consultant kept disappearing and I had to keep hunting her down. I was so annoyed with the situation that we almost left. When the dresses came in (we ordered them 6 months early because that’s how long they said they would take, which I thought was ridiculous for bridesmaid dresses), they were all huge on the girls and all of them had to get them significantly altered. What is the point of measuring someone, if they’re not going to fit anyways. When I picked up the bridesmaids dresses, I verified with the consultant at the front desk that all of the groomsmen had their measurements in. They couldn’t tell who had gotten measured and who hadn’t and it took them a half hour to figure it out. I also verified that they all had the right style or tie and vest, which they didn’t. The girl assured me they would have caught it when they verified everything with me the week before the wedding (no one every contacted me to verify anything so I’m glad I asked when I did).Fast forward to two days before our wedding, and my fiancée picks up his suit, only to find out that it’s the wrong size jacket. No one every verified that the jacket they ordered was the jacket they got. And our wedding was out of town so we were leaving the next day. A guest of our wedding, had to go pick up the correct size jacket the day of our wedding and bring it. I understand that things happen, but I have had nothing but awful experiences with this place. I would never trust them with something so important as your wedding day.

I’m happy to see that so many people had a great experience here, because we did not. We went on a busy Saturday, first appointment of the day...I work full-time during the week and my mom lives across the state, so this was our only option. Our consultant began by emphasizing that we were on a time limit. I showed her specific pictures and style numbers I had saved to my phone to hopefully speed things along; she said this would not be helpful because the dresses are spread out throughout the store and it would be hard to hunt down specific style numbers. She sent us out to pull dresses that caught our eye; this was a little stressful as we aren’t trained in this and don’t know where the best dresses to flatter my figure are. She did not really help me in and out of any of the dresses other than a few clips, so it was hard to see what the dresses would actually look like on me if it fit. I tried on mostly what my family had picked out; I was describing things I liked and didn’t like about each and she didn’t pull more according to my feedback, just went on to the next one that they picked. Again, I’m glad others had a wonderful experience. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.

MB Bride saved my wedding! I had purchased a wedding dress with another bridal store. It was an AWFUL experience! They had pressured me, did not disclose everything and took advantage of a brides emotions during a highly anticipated time in the planning process. So I went to MB Bride on a whim one morning. They were AMAZING! Helped me pick the best dress for me, engaged me, talked with me, took their time - and made it a pleasurable experience. Thank you MB Bride for your thoughtfulness!

My MB brides experience was amazing! I had a huge group and they made sure I still was able to get my vision across and pick what I wanted! I went during a truck sale and got a dress from allure brides and i never felt so beautiful! Even when I went to get alterations everyone was so nice! Highly recommend!

I want a negative star, not one star. My first 2 alteration appointments I sat there waiting to be called back for almost an hour both times. I had the same lady both times. Her name was Chune. The second time she saw me, she brought in one of my bridesmaids dresses and not my wedding dress. (The bridesmaids dress had a huge snag in the front and she didn't even have her alterations done yet at this point). She didn't listen to any of my requests. She lost an attachment piece to my dress TWICE. It was not kept with my dress apparently. She asked me where I wanted my bustle, I told her, she put it in the wrong spot and then TOLD ME I picked that place when I did NOT. She also gave me poofy shoulders and said "didn't you want this?" I never EVER wanted poofy sleeves?!? That's not even how my dress was! She also stabbed me in the butt twice with her pins. (Also did this to a bridesmaid). I asked for the bust to be rounded because it was so pointy- I was charged for this, and she didn't fix it. She also said she would move my cups down in the dress, and there were no cups!! She made my bustle look like a huge tail. I wasn't happy with my sleeves. Or how anything fit!! The dress didn't fit how I wanted, she did the bare minimum to help me. After she was done messing with it, I had pearls from my dress on the floor. I was so mortified with her and her changes to my dress I about ran out of there crying. I called and requested the manager for my follow up appointment. She was PERFECT. I got right in, she UNDID everything Chune did and started over and was puzzled about how Chune had done a few things. She fixed everything that I hated about my dress and gave me great shape and made me love my dress again. She went out of her way to try to make me feel beautiful in my dress which Chune did not do at all. She didn't listen to anything I said and did just about the opposite. I had more issues with the Modern Tux side of things too, I would not recommend MB Bride to anyone after everything I've been through with this place, and with Modern Tux- UNLESS YOU DEAL DIRECTLY WITH THE MANAGER EVERY TIME. My mother in law even got hung up on 3 times, when her son was wrongly over charged for his tux and the lady (Cindy?) wrote down the wrong colors for the fathers of the bride and groom when it was time to order. She told us to write down all of the groomsmen's names and phone numbers (there were 6) because my fiancé would get a free tux. Cindy then called me a few weeks after telling me she needed his tux paid for. I said "you told me his tux was free if we had 6 or more groomsmen. I even wrote it down for you on his form like you asked." She had to go searching for it, and then said never mind. What a nightmare this place has been. Oh, and the groomsmen all tried on the tux's and when they came in, nobody's fit by a long shot. Their shirts were stained and ripped. This was the Friday before my wedding. My sister in law had to steam my brother in laws suit for him since they didn't. I really did love Shanna. She was absolutely great and I'm so UPSET that I was put through hell (along with my mother in law, and bridal party) by everyone else at this place. I will never step foot in here/ nor let anyone I know getting married do it. What a mess!!!!!!

I had a great experience purchasing my wedding dress at MB Bride. The sales woman helping us was very organized and helpful, and the team made my group feel at home. MB Bride has a wide selection of styles, designers, and price points, which allowed me to try a variety dresses before ultimately choosing mine. We had a great day, and I would recommend MB Bride to anyone.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with getting my wedding dress here. We went during a Maggie sottero trunk show. And was able to find the dress of my dreams. All staff was so helpful. The most amazing experience to with Kathy in alterations she helped make the dress fit so much better she made it look stunning. They were so easy to work with and made me feel like a princess on our wedding day.

Very big selection and helpful staff. My dress turned out beautiful thanks to their seamstress Ire. If you get your dress altered I would ask for her, she works wonders! As for the Modern Tux my husband and I were very displeased. He had two groomsmen from out of town so we got their measurements and gave them to the women at the front desk. The other two groomsmen were in town and got measured. When his out of town groomsmen got here two days before the wedding they tried their stuff on and none of it fit. The shirts were ripped in the armpit and my husbands jacket was way too big. My brother went and tried his suit on at the store and they told him it looked fine when actually his pants were way too short his sleeves on his shirt were too long and his jacket were too short. Now I have to look at his messed up suit in every last one of my pictures. Definitely would recommend for dresses but not for tuxes even though you get a deal. The deal was not worth their crappy suits

The staff were friendly but I would not recommend this shop. I originally called them about trying on a dress I saw on their website and was told they had the dress. When I arrived, the dress that the girl brought to me was similar but not the one I asked about. She assured me that it looked different because it was the full length version. I ordered the short version of the dress. I later found out that it was indeed a completely different dress. Two weeks later I was informed that the dress was discontinued but there was another size in the long version available at the warehouse. I agreed that they should order that one since they offered to cover the cost of alterations. When I visited the shop for my alterations fitting, we agreed that the jacket sides needed pulled in. I asked if the jacket could be tapered in the back as well and was told no, it is supposed to "flow". I felt that it made me look large. I noticed that the hem pinning on the dress made one side longer than the other and pointed it out to be corrected. When I went back, I asked again about the jacket and was told the same thing. I also noticed the inner lining was sticking out from beneath the lace outer lining. I pointed it out and was told it could be fixed quickly and to wait downstairs. When the dress was brought to me, I saw that the lining still was visible. I went back upstairs but became frustrated that I couldn't find anyone to help. I decided to leave and when I returned to the front desk, two separate women asked with big smiles if everything was good now. I stated that it wasn't and neither asked why or offered assistance, they both went silent. I ultimately took the dress to another seamstress and she offered to correct the hem and was able to pull the back of the jacket in for a more flattering appearance. I personally will not return to this shop or recommend it to others.

Everyone was so friendly and wonderful. The selection is like no other salon I have been to. Amazing! AND I found MY DRESS!!!!
