is Morilee and the original dress came with long sleeves, but instead I opted for the cap sleeve look as I am a big fan of how elegant cap sleeves looked when my dress came together in the end. through on 1 visit. I felt the prices for wedding dresses were reasonable for the types of dresses I was interested in. However, I live over an hour away so when I didn't find one I loved on my first visit I couldn't justify going back for a second look especially when I found other dresses minutes from my house. I also looked at their bridesmaids and MOB dresses and felt they were very expensive for what they were, sorry but being honest. Though they do have promotions a lot so that's a plus. Overall, I would recommend checking out this salon as the selection, prices (other than bridesmaids, MOB dresses), and customer service are amazing.

with knowing I just wanted a long train but was open to anything, she helped my find my dream dress. Vera was my seamstress, she was fantastic! Few alterations were needed but she gave her suggestions with what should be added, she really helped make my dress even more perfect.

l (it was about $600). The dress fit me great, and the sales associate estimated that I would only need about $250 worth of alterations (mainly, it needed hemmed and a bustle. I'm pretty average sized (5'6" 135 pounds) so we're not talking anything extensive). That sounded reasonable to me and I thought this sales associate could be trusted, so I made an appointment with the alterations department of MB Bride. I went to the appointment, expecting to pay about $250. After I drove an hour to the appointment and the seamstress spent a good half hour pinning the dress on me, I learned at the check-out counter that the alterations were going to cost $515. I was stunned, as this was almost the price of the dress! Looking back, I should have said no thanks and went somewhere else, but I felt like they had me at that point. So I sucked it up and paid the price. When I went to my follow-up appointment, I did not feel comfortable in the dress. It felt too long on me, and I had great concerns about tripping in it. The seamstress brushed me off, and said that's how the dress was supposed to look. Fast forward to the wedding day, and the length of the dress was in the back of my mind the whole day. I also had issues with a strap staying up on my shoulder, and the bustle to my gown did not lay flat. For the price of $515, I expected better. So here's my advice to brides: Go to MB Bride to buy the dress but think twice before you get it altered there. At least don't be as naive as me!

ot informed that there was a time limit on dress trying on. It wasn’t until we had several dresses left that we were told our time was almost up, and the last set of trying on came down to holding them up on a hanger and saying yes or no via just looking at them as opposed to trying them on. Yes, I got my dream dress here, but what if the dream dress was not tried on and determined via a look? I’ll never know. I ordered my dress the first week of February. It didn’t come in until first two weeks of September. My wedding was in October. When I went to try on the consultants very much made it seem like it was my fault that I was trying on my dress so late. I had complaints about my dress digging into my shoulders and was told that it was too late to do anything about it now and “maybe” alterations could fix it. The consultant tried ripping the fabric to give it slack but it kept digging into my shoulders. Again I was told it was up to alterations to see if they could make it more comfortable. I have bad eating disorder tendencies and have been working with a personal trainer for months. I said I was still cutting and thinning out for wedding and asked when was a good time to maintain my figure and not cut down anymore. I was basically lectured and told I should’ve been getting fitted weeks ago, and should be on my last fitting as opposed to the first. That it’s way too late to make big changes. It wasn’t until I said that the dress just came in that the consultant got off my back about simply inquiring. I then inquired about how to get alterations. I was told I needed to immediately call the alterations when I left the shop but no guarantee on me even getting an appointment as they book far out. I immediately called and they couldn’t even get me in until two weeks before the wedding. They then informed me I’d be charged a rush fee since it was so close to the wedding ???? As if it was my fault the dress just came in ???. I’d understand if I ordered the dress in like July or something but to order it in February and pay in full and get treated like I slacked off on getting fitted and getting alterations? Alterations definitely made my hopes move up for this place being lackluster all around. They immediately said fixing the straps would be no problem. They listened and said my requests were easily fixed. Final fitting went great, no issues. Wedding day went great although the bustle broke very quickly. I was left to carry my heavy dress and having people step on the train continuously or trip over it. And yes, I had deep red cuts on my shoulders from the dress straps. Luckily I had enough alcohol in me that I didn’t notice the pain until the end of the night.

ltant- Caitlyn, and while I did explain to her what I wanted, I do not believe I was heard. I explained to her multiple times that I did not want a gown that had off the shoulder long sleeves and she continued to bring these styles of gowns back to me until she did listen and found a gown with how I wanted the sleeves to be. It also felt more like she was out to get a sale, than she was about my happiness. Again, I LOVED my gown, but she was a little too pushy for my liking. The alterations department also had over a month to begin alterations and still called me a day before my second fitting saying they were not ready and asked if I could come back the following week to have my second fitting. As someone who works 2 jobs, I have to request days off far in advance to make things work. I was extremely unhappy over the fact that they asked this of me, being they had quite a bit of time already. I honestly was concerned they were going to call me and ask me to move my wedding to the following week because they were not going to have my dress ready in time. I understand they have other gowns to prioritize however I do not appreciate being given an appointment and it not being stuck to. It honestly felt like I was not important and that they took my money and they could have cared less at that point. Please, if you are going to shop for a bridal gown, look elsewhere before looking here., let alone have your gown altered here. It will save you a lot of time and hassle later on.

should make an appointment during the trunk show. So when I arrived I wasn’t as nervous as I thought due to already knowing my consultant. I had a list of dos and don’ts and Caitlyn was amazing about listening to the styles I wanted. Caitlyn was so wonderful and patient with me, she told me to keep a top 3 which really helped narrow down my decisions. We tried on 15 dresses but I kept going back to my second, which became my wedding dress. I also used MB Bride for my alterations and I had Ira. She was another wonderful experience! I was lucky in that I only needed my shoulder straps tightened and my dress hemmed, along with a bustle put in. Ira was able to do all this and I only ended up needing two fittings. I received so many compliments on my dress the day of my wedding! Thank you MB Bride, Caitlyn, and Ira!!

The store had a large selection to choose from and was easier to navigate in comparison to the previous store. However, I would definitely utilize a consultant because they made the experience easy and enjoyable.

p there. I did end up finding my gown and my veil there and I was so excited. However, I did experience several issues along the way. The largest issue being that I received the wrong veil. I had originally selected a long veil that was about the length of my mid thigh. It was the same style, so initially I didn’t notice. On my wedding day I had a list of photos incorporating my veil and none were working and I remember wondering why because it should have been long enough, but with the day being so fast paced and emotional I still didn’t put it together. Only later when I was looking at photos of myself on the day I purchased the veil I wanted did I realize I was given the complete wrong veil. I made several attempts to contact MB Bride, email and phone call, but they ignored me. I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews but I was so disappointed. A veil doesn’t make or break my wedding but I believe you should always get what you pay for.

One of my bridesmaid actually left in tears since Sue was unwilling to help her find something that she liked and fit her body type. The seamstress was also incredibly difficult to work with and I was still concerned about the fit of my dress the week before my wedding. If you are looking for any type of accessory, be careful - almost all of their veils are ripped! Overall, buyer beware. It was incredibly expensive for lackluster service.

I appreciated her so much for what she did. the 4 stars is only because the bridesmaids shopping at MB Bride wasn't as amazing as my wedding dress shopping. They had the color down wrong twice and I was very stressed I was going to get the wrong color. No matter how anxious I was they were always there to answer any and ALL questions I had. All in all an amazing experience.

The only issue I had with MB is that they accepted the wrong dress for one of my maids and then they told me that it would be reordered and set to her house. After reordering it and sending it, it mysteriously just got lost. After reordering it, I had to come to the store to pick it up. The did offer her discounted alterations, however she lives in Erie and was unable to use them. Thankfully, she did find a great seamstress because they dress was disproportionate. It was too short on the bottom and the seamstress had to take some fabric from the top to make the dress long enough for her. Overall a good experience minus that headache!

me deciding on "the one!" Everyone at MB Bride was super friendly and made my whole group feel included. We didn't even realize until we were going to leave that we ended up staying quite a while past the end of our scheduled appointment time! I would definitely recommend for their selection and consultants!

ll give just the facts. They did not communicate unless I called them. I ordered my dress 6 months before my wedding. They told me I was responsible for calling in to check when it had arrived. I call in weekly for 3 months. TWO WEEKS before my wedding, they told me it arrived a week ago. They ordered the wrong size dress. The dress was too tight. (I’m a fitness professional, so my weight had not changed.) I asked if they had ordered the wrong size. They said, “Oh, maybe. That happens sometimes.” They refused to do basic alterations. My hips measure 3 dress sizes larger than my waist size, so there was significant bagginess in the waistline that she said she didn’t need to fix. I requested thin pads in the bust, but the seamstress insisted on putting in large push-up pads and would not change them. They backtracked on my alterations requests. I asked for two specific alterations before even ordering my dress. They said no problem and even sent me pictures to show how they would do it. When the dress came in, they told me the alterations were impossible. (Even after showing them the pictures THEY had sent ME.) They denied production errors in the dress. The lace on the dress arrived crooked, but the seamstress insisted that it was fine (over both me, my mom, and my bridesmaid’s complaints). When it couldn’t be denied any longer, they told me, “No one looks at that part of the dress anyway.” (The entire skirt, mid-bodice and below.) They took the lazy way out to fix mistakes. After finally measuring the lace and admitting it was a full 2 inches off-center, they pulled the center piece of lace off and replaced it, leaving everything else crooked and told me “This will give the illusion that it’s straight.” They took no ownership of their problems. When it became clear that the dress was not salvageable, they asked ME what they should do about it, ONE WEEK before my wedding. I had to be the one to suggest altering one of the sample dresses they have in-store. They tried to make me pay full price for a used gown. Meaning for a gown that is dirty, 4 sizes too large, with wear and tear from months of use, I would be paying the same price as ordering a brand new one in my size. There was no internal communication. I had to reexplain my situation to every person. When I finally got to speak to the manager, she said, “I understand that you’re upset we can’t do the custom alterations you asked for.” We were FAR past that. The point was I DID NOT HAVE A DRESS. They were rude and unprofessional on the phone. Five days before my wedding and still without a dress. I call the manager, Jenn, who says she needs to talk to the owner and will call back in 15–20 minutes. I say, “Okay, I’ll expect your call in 20 minutes.” She responded with a huge scoff and “BYE.” They left me without a dress. Jenn calls back, still without any answers. I request a refund, since it’s clear they have no idea how to fix this. She says, “I feel like we’ve failed you.” Yes, MB Bride. You did.

y scheduled to go during a Morilee trunk show, but alas, covid. When I did get to finally come in, I had a sheet with pictures and names of about four/five of the dresses from her line that I wanted to try. The only struggle I had during shopping was this list, as they said it would be near impossible to single out those dresses and let me know I should walk my way down the Morilee rack and see if there are dresses that look like something I would like. This lead to pulling a few I knew I didn't really know if I would like because I didn't know if we would be able to find the ones I really loved (this is one comment I've seen frequently, so I understand, but it is one thing that would greatly improve the experience). As luck would have it we did find two of my list, one of which ended up being THE dress, so I'm glad I kept searching. Our consultant was great when I mentioned I would love to add straps if possible, and helped find a belt which we would eventually convert into straps. My experience with the alterations department was fantastic! Our seamstress went above and beyond in terms of making the dress even better than I could imagine, adding some beading to the belt that would be my straps, adding FIFTEEN bustles to bring up my train for the reception, and making sure the fit of my dress was perfect so that I would look my best on my wedding day.

and prom department. Even on a busy day, the staff was very helpful finding dresses while my family helped me into them. Their alterations department alone is worth working with! They fitted my dress perfectly and designed a custom overskirt that was not initially part of the dress I had picked.

My matching Allure veil had all of my guests in awe. Linda did my alterations and she did an absolutely phenomenal job. She basically had to rebuild my dress as I’m so short, the whole bottom needed re-working. I cannot recommend MB Bride enough for any bride who hasn’t found a dress yet!
