Getting to see their faces when it all comes together, and the immense amount of love and happiness I get to witness, is why I started MB Events! As a wedding planner, I hold myself to the highest standards. I offer experience, professional resources, and most importantly my time. Marissa and her team are punctual, organized, and detail-oriented. I had a good amount of decor that I was bringing in to my venue, which the venue did not allow me to drop off prior to our wedding day. Marissa and her team were kind enough to take all of our decor the night before our wedding for us so we didn’t have to worry about it. This was a huge help and took a lot of potential stress off my plate.
Marissa kept in touch in the weeks leading up to our wedding ensuring we had the day-of timeline solidified so that I would not have to worry about anything day of, and she did not miss a beat. I was so happy to have them there with us starting at the rehearsal, all the way through the end of the night where they packed up all of our décor in a neat, organized, and careful way (we had many glass candles and other fragile décor), so that we would not have to worry about packing anything up and we could head off to our after party. They were amazing, and so helpful the entire day through.
We truly felt so special and cannot thank Marissa and her team enough. We could not have done this without them and we are so incredibly thankful.

I hired Marissa and her team about 3 months before my wedding. I was having a lot of issues with my venue and needed the extra help. Marissa and her team entered the picture at the perfect time. Marissa helped me handle the drama with the venue and ensured me it would be smooth moving forward (which is was)! Caroline, was my day of coordinator and she did an incredible job. She was there via phone calls/ video calls/ text and in person whenever I needed her. She helped give me decor ideas and truly made my vision come true. I could not have done it without her! The day of both her and Alicia spent hours making sure every detail that I had spent so long planning was perfect. If you are looking for an event planning team, MB events will NOT disappoint!

Words cannot describe how happy my husband and I are with MB Events. We had our wedding on July 6th at my families farm and Jamie and Caroline did an outstanding job. They did my aunt and uncles a few months prior and we knew we had to have them again. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and will always recommend MB Events to anyone who asks.

I honestly do not know where to start. We hired Marissa and her wonderful team about nine months out from our September 2024 wedding at the Fairmont Copley. She immediately got the ball rolling with connecting me with the rest of the (amazing) vendors I needed to book and introducing me to Aisle Planner-which I have to say is a godsend resource for all brides and planners. She kept me on track with payments, with responding to emails and routinely checked in with me to see how things were going. She was always just a text away. She coordinated with all of my vendors and produced a beautiful timeline for our big day. She stuck up for me and helped me find answers/alternative solutions if anything was unclear or needed to be addressed. Marissa is a true professional and missed literally nothing when it came to my large and complex wedding (250 guests). I cannot imagine what the day would have been like without her and her phenomenal team. I interviewed with about 10 different planners over three weeks before I went with my gut with MB Events and I am so glad we did. This is definitely someone you can trust with one of the most special days you'll ever have! I could not recommend Marissa and her team enough if you are planning a wedding in New England.

MB Events was an absolute lifesaver for our wedding! They created a flawless timeline that kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. Their attention to detail and ability to anticipate every little thing made our day completely stress-free. Marissa and team were so organized, responsive, and always one step ahead, ensuring that we could just enjoy our day without any worries. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
Additionally, MB Events created beautiful signage that perfectly matched our theme and added a personal touch to our decor. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and we received countless compliments from our guests.

I cannot recommend Marissa and the MB Events team highly enough! We opted for partial planning and started working with Marissa a little less than a year before our wedding. She helped us with so much - from helping us find vendors to creating mood boards that illustrated the vision for our fall wedding to finetuning every detail of our timeline.
Our wedding was perfect and most importantly, we didn't have to worry about any of the details because Marissa, Doug, and the MB Events team had everything covered. We are so grateful to have worked with them. Thank you again Marissa and team!

Marissa and the entire MB Events team were so incredible to work with! We partnered with the team on day-of coordination and the team truly ensured our day ran smoothly! Marissa remained incredibly professional despite dealing with venue issues (no tables 2 days before, yikes!) and kept myself and our families calm leading up to the big day. She partnered with me on adhoc meetings to ensure my vision came to life, and it truly felt like I had a partner in crime the whole time!

Marissa and her team were absolutely amazing and imperative to our beautiful wedding day. Marissa and I started working together about six months prior to our wedding. I came to her after realizing that our venue coordinator would not do the things that they originally said they would do. I was lucky enough to find Marissa and I am so thankful that I did. She was with me every step of the way, attended our walk-through with the venue and did a tremendous amount of extra work to communicate with our venue who had their own struggles with communication and processes to begin with. I can say with complete confidence that our wedding day would not have been as smooth as it was without MB events. I would recommend Marissa and her team to any bride who is looking for coordinator that will go above and beyond to make your dreams come true.

Marissa is amazing, point blank period. My wife and I had a backyard wedding and it went seamlessly, all thanks to her and her wonderful husband. She kept me calm the weeks leading up to the wedding, and truly took so much stress off of us as a couple day of. She works efficiently and came up with solutions to any problems quickly. We truly couldn't have done this without her. As someone who had so much anxiety about the wedding day, she checked in with me several times as well as my wife, and coordinated all the vendors perfectly. Do not hesitate to book her!

Hiring MB Events was one of the best decisions we made! Jamie is a literal rockstar, and her Caroline and Lucy worked so hard to make everything absolutely perfect. The day went seamlessly as they handled any problems that came up like professionals and without us ever having to be involved. Leading up to the big day working with Jamie and then having the three of them with us on wedding day I really don’t know how we could have done it without them. We can’t recommend them enough!

There aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for Marissa, Doug, and the entire MB Events team. Marissa was my sense of calm through all the wedding planning, and was on top of every little detail! I can’t express it enough, MB events was by far the best money we spent on our wedding. Marissa takes the time to know her clients, and truly carry out their dream. They care so much about their clients, and really just make you feel so special and loved. I can’t recommend Marissa, Doug, and MB Events enough. I didn’t plan on having a wedding coordinator but it was required by my venue and now having gone through our wedding day I can’t imagine not having Marissa. She totally exceeded my expectations for the tasks she did and worked with me way more than just on the day. Building a timeline and coordinating all my vendors without her would have been much more challenging. Her communication is amazing as she always replies in a timely manner and answers any questions you have. She and Doug are so professional and handle any stressful situations with ease. They made it so much easier to communicate with vendors during challenging times and always were willing to listen to me when needed. They work so hard to listen and execute all your little details and even clean everything up at the end. Marissa made me feel so calm and helped reassure me that I didn’t have to stress. To top it off, they’re also the sweetest people and just so enjoyable to be around. I highly recommend hiring MB events to make your wedding planning process seamless!

Marissa and her team were so organized and easy to work with! She and Doug coordinated with all of our vendors, outlined a complex timeline and made sure everyone knew where to be and when. Our wedding had a lot of logistics and details to keep track of and Marissa navigated all of them with professionalism and positivity. Highly recommend!

I am so happy we went with MB Events.. My initial interaction with Marissa I knew I had made the right choice. I did the bulk of our planning but needed someone to be me (type A ) on our wedding day. Someone who could keep everything together and make sure our day went smoothly so I did not have to worry. Caroline who was my day of coordinator was so organized and professional as well as her assistant Lucy. My first meeting with her I felt so confident that I would not need to stress the day of our wedding. The night before my wedding I made some changes and felt good after speaking with her about the changes. I put my trust in her and she came through 100%. I had the best, most relaxing and fun wedding day, thanks to MB events. They are a must for that TYPE A Bride that needs someone to be them on their wedding day!!

I truly could not have gotten through my wedding day without the caring, meticulous, and professional help of Marissa and Doug. We had a backyard wedding and halfway through the planning process we decided it was best to hire a day of coordinator. But MB events is so much more than that. We stayed in contact for months leading up to the big day, she was always responsive whether it was a phone call, zoom, email, or text. She put together a detailed timeline and stayed in contact with all my vendors so assure everyone was on the same page. Most importantly my day ran so smoothly and if anything went awry I had no idea. She truly made my husband and I feel so special.

Marissa and her team were fantastic! Marissa was involved in every step of our planning process, and provided a detailed breakdown for the entire day that was extremely helpful. When we had a hiccup in the day (our Church service went longer than expected) Marissa took initiative, spoke with all involved vendors and adapted the schedule accordingly. Marissa and her team at MB events truly made our wedding day everything we could have hoped for and more. Our venue did not include any services and it was a very DIY situation. However, the MB Events team helped my husband and I stay organized with all our vendor outreach, a VERY detailed timeline, and as needed support along the way. The team was tremendously responsive in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. On the day of, we weren’t worried about anything but each other and the fun we were having. The MB Events team helped all of our guests seamlessly, they made sure to inform us of the timeline throughout the day, and truly saw to any and all of our needs. Marissa and her team kept all communication with vendors before and during the event smooth and organized and they thought of things I never would have. I was able to bounce all of my ideas off of them knowing I would receive supportive yet honest responses about how logistically those ideas might work or look. I could not have done all of the planning without this coordination team. We felt so cared for and enjoyed our day so incredibly much thanks to them.

Working with Marissa and the MB Team was the best decision we made for our wedding! From the moment we signed with her she was on top of everything and anything, kept us on track and assured us that we wouldn’t have to worry about a single thing come our wedding day. I had never thought of doing a venue walk through a month before and I’m so glad Marissa and Emily organized this for us. The schedule that Marissa and Emily prepared was so meticulously organized and detailed that every vendor complemented that they had wished every wedding coordinator had a schedule like this! Fast forward to our rehearsal, Marissa and Emily took charge when our venue was less than prepared for a wedding our size. They had us run through 3 different rehearsal scenarios because the forecast was not looking in our favor, and I am so glad we did! I started to panic that my wedding was going to be ruined because of the rain and Marissa and Emily assured me that everything would be perfect and it was! Marissa, Emily and Doug quite literally saved the day on our wedding day when good ole spring New England weather decided to torrentially downpour on our wedding day. Our venue had a coordinator that was there to help however if Marissa, Emily, and Doug weren’t there, I can honestly say my wedding wouldn’t have gone as smooth as it did. From moving our ceremony inside to where our reception was to coordinating the change over during cocktail hour, everything was more than I could’ve imagined, including help coordinate having our dog be apart of our ceremony, which meant the world to me!There was more than a few hiccups that day but I didn’t know about a single one until our follow up call with Marissa and Emily after we got back from the honeymoon. This is the amazing quality work that MB Events provides! I was always afraid that I was going to become a brideszilla and I don’t feel as if that happened because Marissa, Emily, and Doug were there for absolutely everything! They thought of things we would have never considered, lipgloss hidden at our sweetheart table, drink orders prepared for our wedding party, to picking a point person for our cards to make sure nothing got lost. My only regret was not signing with MB Events sooner! My husband and I cannot thank Marissa, Emily and Doug enough for everything they did to give us our wedding of our dreams!

Working with Marissa and her team at MB Events, was by far the best decision my husband and I could have made during our wedding planning process. Marissa truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and her passion for her work is apparent from start to finish.
My husband and I chose a venue where every aspect of our wedding needed to be coordinated with third-party vendors (string quartet, DJ, catering (incl. table, chairs, linens), set up, breakdown, etc). When we realized how much we underestimated the time and coordination needed to plan such an important event, we knew we needed help. Enter: MB Events. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected.
We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team.
Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!

Can’t begin to express my gratitude for Marissa and her team as my day of coordinator for my wedding day on May 25th, 2024. My fiancé and I did the bulk of our planning and booking but needed someone who can keep everything together and make sure our day went smoothly so we did not have to worry. Marissa is organized, professional, and extremely qualified for everything that she does. As soon as we handed everything over to her, I knew we would be in great hands on the day of our wedding. Even the night before my wedding at 1am I was sending her a notes app note with all of my last minute thoughts/needs and she even made sure all of those things were completed the day of. I could put my trust in her and her team and knew she would keep every vendor in line and keep us on our timeline for the day. I had the best, most relaxing and fun wedding day, thanks to MB events.
