We had the honor to get married at McCauley Estate Vineyards on September 2021 and it was the best day of our lives! We could not have asked for a more perfect day. The entire staf...
f was so easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. The communication with the staff was also absolutely amazing. Every question we had was answered very promptly, which is hard to find so we really appreciated it. Their all- inclusive package made wedding planning a breeze.

Absolutely beautiful venue! This venue had everything I could ever imagine. I got so many compliments from my friends and family about how beautiful this venue was!
The place is BEAUTIFUL! It will forever be where my husband and I got married and be "our" place, but if we knew all the small details we may have picked another location. There wa...
s a lot of communication leading up to the day, but once the day came it was a little different. The cocktail hour was dragged out longer because the reception area had no air conditioning and it was way too hot for the guests to enter. People ended up not dancing the entire night because of this. I was told that the wedding coordinator's assistant would carry my dress until I reached the isle with my father at the ceremony, and she didn't help at all. I walked down the isle with a dirty dress on the bottom which was very obvious. The security guys were rude to a lot of the guests and at the end of the night, both my father and father-in-law had to tell them the alcohol we brought for our signature drinks was not a free for all and they were not allowed to just go into our ice chest and take them. If the fathers weren't next to the ice chest they would have taken our alcohol home. We paid for an open bar and was never told that shots would not be allowed and only mixed drinks with barley a shot in each would be what the guests could order. Guests were not allowed to order doubles. It was very strict rules for an open bar. All of our guests were over 21, yet they gave one of the bridesmaids a hard time. On the day of the rehearsal we dropped off all of our items and it was put into the warehouse that they have there. Everything was packaged up. Before the set wedding time was over that we paid for, people had to grab the champagne flutes and knife serving set off the tables before they were thrown away. The caterers came through and were picking up everything before the time was up. The packaging that we supplied was thrown away and nothing returned. Even the 30 or so extra favors we gave them were "lost" and they had no idea where all the shot glasses had gone even though they were packed nicely in a box. (yes we knew we had to take everything home at the end of the wedding, just not before the time we paid for was up) For the price we paid for the wedding, all of this should not have occurred. We are very thankful for the money our parents spent and allowed us to get married here, but we felt like the overall experience was not what it should have been.
My husband and I were married here back in May. We have mixed feelings.
Pros:
-The DJ, Kevin, comes with the venue. We didn't have a say about that and we were hoping for the b...
est and definitely got it. We got a ton of compliments about the DJ.
-The venue is gorgeous! I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful location :)
Cons:
-I worked with Tiffany the whole time as my wedding coordinator and she wasn't even there day of. She sent an assistant (I heard she has several), who was horrible. This assistant wasn't at any of our meetings and had no idea what I wanted and had no idea what was going on.
-The AC in the bridal suite doesn't work well and it was miserably hot in there.
-We paid for a full bar package, but we couldn't get anything to drink before the wedding, not even water. This was for both the guests and wedding party.
-The man cave has a full bar where the guys get to hang out for one hour before the ceremony, but they can't have any drinks... A room of guys and a full bar and they get nothing? The bar is what makes the man cave cool.
-You have to take your own trash. The caterer luckily takes all of theirs, but things such as rose pedals have to be picked up if used on the aisle and you must clean up, or have some designated to do this, at the end of the night, for things such as cleaning off the bottles and cups on the tables.
Newberry Estate Vineyards was the perfect venue for our wedding. It is absolutely beautiful and everything is in one place. Sabrina was great in organizing all the arrangements for...
the included vendors. Our family and friends all had so much fun and a wonderful time that they are still talking about how great it was. We had an amazing time and will have memories that will last forever.
