I really enjoyed working with McNamara and would have given 5 stars had I not hated my bouquet. I don’t like greenery and there was 3-4 varieties draping down all around. Flowers that were important to me were missing. I especially wanted peony’s. I love them so much I have a tattoo of one and I said that at one of our meetings how important they were. There wasn’t a single one in my bouquet but they were in the bridesmaids bouquets. There was also some sort of white small flower that was like a weed. I hated them and my bridesmaids had to cut them all out along with a decent amount of greenery. They kept offering to trade me bouquets because I was so upset. My bridesmaids bouquets were perfect. I really loved them and my centerpieces and my huppah flowers were gorgeous. We used candelabras with flowers at the base and it really gave the room a romantic feeling. They even let us rent a greenery wall that was used as a backdrop for our neon sign in the photo booth. Just a heads up the brides bouquet weights 7-10 pounds! I was not expecting it to be so heavy!! I had to pass it off frequently to rest my arm. All in all I would recommend them but I would be really specific on what you want and maybe ask for a mock-up of your bouquet. I will forever be looking at my wedding pictures and be wishing my bouquet was different. But like I said everything else looked beautiful and the quality was spectacular.

Alan and McNamara were amazing to work with for our wedding. He does a great job of taking your interests/requests and his knowledge and marrying the two together, while staying within your budget. They really do a great job making each arrangement feel personal to you. Highly recommend!

We hired McNamara as the florist for our NYE 2020 wedding before the pandemic hit. Toomie was our designer, and as our plans started turning upside down and things were changing all the time, he was there for us and so flexible. We reduced our guest count from ~150 to 25 people attending in person, which was so difficult. Toomie was so wonderful in continually reassuring us that our smaller, intimate celebration would be still be special and amazing. And now for the flowers - WOW! When we sat down with Toomie and explained our vision, he immediately knew what we were looking for and was able to suggest some amazing designs. We could not have been more thrilled with what he put together. Our 25 in-person guests as well as our Zoom guests all raved how amazing the flowers and decor were. Money well spent with McNamara!

I waited until my wedding photos came back to write a review because I knew the pictures would do more justice to the work of Alan at McNamara than my words could ever do (can be seen on Google review). Working with Alan was the absolute best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. He immediately understood my vision, offered suggestions and options that elevated the entire event and executed the plan perfectly (even after covid caused us to pivot from Plan A to Plan B at the very last minute). Alan's attention to detail is outstanding (just look at the bouquet!) and clear passion and talent for creating exquisite floral landscapes made working with him the easiest aspect of my wedding. I cannot recommend McNamara, and specifically Alan, enough!

We had a great experience with McNamara for our wedding. Neither of us has any experience with flowers and had no idea what our options were, so in our first meeting we probably could've used a bit of guidance or example photos. We had to switch consultants about halfway through due to a health problem, but it was a smooth transition and Julie picked everything up right away. The flowers were beautiful and the centerpieces were perfect!

There were parts that were great and there were parts that were not great at all with McNamara. To be honest - the entire process was not the best when it came to communication. We booked the team in Fishers for the wedding a long time in advance - thinking that they were the best in the business. There was a lack of communication from beginning to end with the woman I was working with. They lost the photo's of the flowers I had sent in the beginning - which made me worry that they weren't prepared for my day. Also - no one reached out during the week of to confirm timelines, drop off's, ensure that everything was under control etc. My other vendors were amazing during the week of. During the day of - the flowers were late being delivered. While my bouquets were BEAUTIFUL, the men's boutonnieres were not good. One large rose, which fell apart 5 minutes after putting them on. The women's corsages fell apart as well (my mom's didn't even make it to the ceremony). The reception was beautiful as well!! The delivery process was not good either. My venue coordinator said that they were not friendly in delivery and were not helpful. Not sure if you value good communication/service, but it could affect your day of event.

WOW! Alan took my vision of a contemporary ceremony and fairytale wedding reception and brought it to life! He and his team were able to flip an entire room, hanging 15+ flower arrangements from the ceiling, all in under an hour! It was incredible. I cannot recommend him enough!

Alan at McNamara florist is amazing! My daughter envisioned a room of floating flowers and he delivered. He suspended wreaths with floating flowers cascading to the table tops. He managed to hang 15 wreaths during a cocktail hour flip - unbelievable. He is incredibly creative and his eye for design is unparalleled. You cannot go wrong!!

Wow! McNamara did the flowers for my daughter's wedding and reception at the Indiana State Museum. We worked with Kelly and she was just amazing to work with. She got exactly what my daughter wanted for her wedding. The flower arch for the wedding was so beautiful that when I first saw it, it brought me to tears! The bridal party bouquets were just beautiful.The flowers on the tables in the Great Hall were nothing short of spectacular! Kelly totally got it - timeless, elegant, classic. Thank you so very much!

Alan was phenomenal! He made more beautiful arrangements than I could have ever imagined! We got so many compliments on the flowers- even from our guest who is a florist in a different state! Thumbs up for Alan! He truly listened to our vision and we couldn't be happier!

I was very happy with my flowers for my wedding. I came in with a few pictures from pinterest and the theme of my wedding and they were able to design the perfect bouquet for myself and my bridesmaids. The flowers were delivered right on time and in beautiful glass vases to keep them fresh. We used the glass vases to display the bouquets at the reception and it as perfect. The only negative part was that the dusty miller began to droop when taking photos before the ceremony so when the ceremony happened they were falling to the sides. I am not sure if that is typical, but was a little bummed about that.

The flowers at my wedding were beautiful; however, getting there was a bit rough. I placed my order and paid my deposit far in advance of my wedding. As my wedding date neared I tried to contact my floral designer to make a payment. I could not get a hold of her. Finally someone emails me and says she no longer works for McNamara and asked if I would come in again as she did not leave good notes on my order. At my second meeting I took a ribbon, made from my mothers wedding dress, that I wanted wrapped around my bouquet. Two days before the wedding I received a call asking where the ribbon for my bouquet was. I told them I had already dropped it off and they responded with "well it has to be around here somewhere we will find it". I never heard back from them and didn't know if they had found the ribbon until my bouquet was in hand...

I ordered my flowers with Debbie at the Avon store. I had no issues, and the flowers turned out exactly how I wanted them! Very happy with my experience.

Not happy with our flowers. We ordered our wedding flowers — all bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages — through Debbie, the wedding specialist at the Avon office. We met with her to go over what we wanted and she suggested other flowers that looked like peonies but were in season for our early April wedding and ultimately would be cheaper. It's frustrating because she would always try to talk me out of the Pinterest photos that I showed her and instead would show me examples of what they had done, which I kept telling her was not what I wanted. One of my big rules is that I did not want a lot of greenery or green flowers in the bridal or bridesmaid's bouquets. And of course, she included tons of hydrangeas that were super green even though the florists claimed they were white. When we picked up the flowers, Debbie had said the associates in that day would make any changes. They didn't and just "sorry" too many times but were unwilling to pick out the ugly, dead-looking flowers. I'm just so glad our photographer removed the green from the photos!

9x out 10 I would always vote for McNamara when ordering flowers for any occasion. So naturally, I thought using them of our wedding wouldn't be an issue. Our flowers were scheduled to arrive between 130p and 2p (to the hotel we were getting ready at) on the day of our wedding. The delivery person was instructed to call my fiance to let him know the flowers had arrived. To my surprise, I received a phone call to my hotel room at 945a, stating our flowers how been delivered. Normally I'm happy when things happen early... except when I have to keep flowers fresh - in a hotel room for 7 hours before the ceremony! THANKFULLY, our hotel rooms had normal sized refrigerators and my parents were able to store 5 bridesmaids bouquets, brides bouquet, 7 boutineers and 2 mother of the brides bouquets among my families rooms. By the time I walked down the isle, the very edge of the lilies had started to turn a slight brown and began to wilt. I'm sure I was the only one to notice this as it wasn't obvious to my guest, but when you pay that much for beautiful, fresh flowers... I expect they would still be beautiful and fresh for our ceremony. I was pleased with the arrangement and their service leading up to the wedding day, unfortunately, I think this issue falls on their delivery person, which I believe was handled by their management staff. Overall, I can't say anything BAD about this company and I will continue to use them. It was a small inconvenience during our wedding day that we did not anticipate, but certainly didn't ruin and otherwise beautiful day!

The only reason I chose 4 stars for value was because this vendor was a bit more expensive than average and flowers are just expensive period. However, for the quality the price isn't unreasonable. I had my heart set on vibrant, abundant flowers, and Alan Thompson from McNamara did not disappoint. He took my very vague, uninformed, hair-brained ideas and turned them into a gorgeous reality that exceeded my expectations. He is truly an artist. Alan himself was actually there at the wedding to set everything up and even pin the boutonnieres on the guys. He has great taste and can turn your nutsy ideas into a beautiful reality and is just plain fun to work with. I highly recommend him.

The service and quality were good. I did think they were a little over priced, but they were the cheapest in the area.

I was not disappointed at all with my flowers. The employee who worked with me on my wedding arrangements was great. She encouraged me to be realistic about my budget (because those bouquets you see on Pinterest are NOT cheap!) and was able to give me exactly what I was looking for with a combination of real and fake flowers. My bouquet, the family and bridal party's bouquets and boutonnieres, and the memorial arrangement were breathtaking and absolutely perfect. I also purchased single rosebuds for centerpieces and some assorted flowers similar to my bouquet to place on top of my cake. All of the flowers kept very well and photographed beautifully. They also helped me get my bouquet preserved through an affiliate called FreezeFrame. I highly encourage you to work with McNamara for your big day!

My flowers were simply stunning!!!!! I cannot recommend this florist enough! The florists knew what I wanted and made it happen on my budget! My flowers arrived looking picture perfect and were an elegant touch to my wedding!

We worked with Alan at the Carmel location, and he was amazingly creative! I was so pleased with how our flowers turned out, and we also added candles to the altar, which were absolutely gorgeous! My only complaint was that they didn't get back to us for weeks on end, so there were times that I was worried that things wouldn't work out, but they did and I was so pleased!

I had no clue what I was doing when it came to pick bouquets & boutonnieres, but the associate helped me visualize her ideas. The flowers turned out beautifully.

We used McNamara for most of our wedding flowers: bouquets, boutonnieres, unity candle arrangement, and pew decor. They did an outstanding job! I met with Melody to draft our order, and she did a great job understanding what I wanted and guiding my flower selections. The staff was very organized and prompt about emailing me copies of updated proposals; I needed to modify part of my order, and they were very responsive. On the wedding day, the delivery went perfectly. They were on time, nothing was missing, and everything was absolutely beautiful. Our guests loved the flowers and they look wonderful in our pictures. I would definitely recommend McNamara.

We actuall used the avon store for our flowers. We had no idea what our 3 different center pieces would look like but when we saw them they were gorgeous. It was exactly how I imagined my flowers looking. Easy to work with and great value.

We used McNamara to do our Bouquets, boutineer and corsages for the wedding. They all turned out so beautiful and all of the colors were perfect!

I have gotten all my flowers need from McNamara's and I have never been dissapointed. this time, our wedding, they delivered just wonderfully. beautiful flowers with wonderful smells. Loved them!!

Toomie Farris is awesome. He makes gorgeous works of art with flowers. Our bouquets are still being complemented on!

My mom loves McNamara and had used them for both of my older sisters' weddings. I asked my brother in law what he thought of them and he said, "the flowers aren't great for what you pay for them." But, my mom was paying so what the heck, right? Go for broke, mom. We worked with Rosemarie and in the beginning stages went very well. She utilized her expertise to help explain to us (since we had zero knowledge about flowers) which flowers were the right ones based on our preferences. With a solid plan in hand and a bill we seemed to be good to go. And then, the day before the wedding, the flowers for the rehearsal dinner came in the wrong vases, were the wrong type, and were honestly pretty crappy (bruised and browning). Guests even commented that they hoped the flowers the next day would be better. Talk about embarrassing. Sadly the wedding day flowers were not better. The bride's bouquet (THE BRIDE'S BOUQUET...FOR THE FREAKIN BRIDE) had browning flowers in it. The bridesmaids were not much better. The groomsmen's boutonnieres looked great, but wilted over the course of the day. They looked pretty crappy during the post wedding ceremony photo shoot. At the reception I just told them to take them off and throw them away. To their credit, they did come to the church to try and fix the flowers. However, the person they sent had a bad attitude and basically told the bride she didn't understand what the problem was. She did glue in fresh flowers where the bride's mom had taken the browning flowers out. Overall: totally unimpressed, embarrassing flowers which we both had to apologize to our wedding party for. Won't be back and would not recommend. Sorry, I really hoped they would be better given my mom's love for them and the excitement after the initial consultation. But, the quality is not there and even my mom said she won't go back. Just sad, really.

Michelle at McNamara Glendale was very creative and talented as a designer and I was so happy with how the flowers turned out. However, keep your contract and all receipts close, because I had a few mishaps. They lost track of my deposit, and when I received my final bill (5 months after the wedding) it had late fees even though it was the first statement I received. However, they were nice about it when working to get it all straightened out. Just keep good records!

I have heard that McNamara was a little pricey when it comes to wedding flowers, and I am not necessarily a big flower person to begin with so I was leery of contacting them. However, after shopping around a bit McNamara was very comparable to other vendors and even cheaper than some. The reason that I chose McNamara was because even though I was not ordering thousands and thousands of dollars of flowers, Teresa understood what I wanted and still made me feel important. She personally, without prompting, called my venue to check altar height and vase sizing for the arrangements. And she met with me 2 times before the wedding just to make sure that she was on the right track with the arrangements and the bouquets and was just genuinely very sweet wanting to ensure that I was happy. Teresa personally delivered the flowers the day of the wedding and they were beautiful and exactly what I wanted! Her work did not stop there though, she later emailed me to ensure that I was happy with everything and to tell me how pretty I was in my dress! I would recommend them to anyone!

They were timely, so easy to work with and the flowers were exactly what we wanted. Will use them in the future for all flower purposes!

Many compliments were given on the flowers. They were so beautiful and looked like everything I had envisioned.

McNamara was very professional and delivered exactly what I asked for. I came in with a tight budget, and Alan worked with me to make sure we stayed within it. I still got everything I needed, and it was all beautiful and very high quality. We ordered all the personal flowers there, and they all held up from pickup at 2pm until far past the end of the reception at 10pm. They even looked nice the next day at noon after riding in a hot car! We also ordered flowers to set up in our own centerpieces and they were beautiful as well.

I only used McNamara for my bouquets! The bouquets were beautiful. I expected McNamara to be expensive. They were very reasonable. I worked with Michelle. She was great! She did everything I wanted! I would highly recommend!

After going to three different florists for quotes, I chose McNamara. Not only were they the most beautiful arrangements, but the cheapest too! Come wedding day, my aunt went to pick up the flowers they were too wide for her car. Rosemari, the manager in Greenwood, offered to have them delivered for free. Now that is great service.

After looking around at a few florists, McNamara proved to be the best price for what I was wanting and very willing to work with my ideas to get exactly what I wanted. It was still more than I had wanted to spend on flowers, but comparitive to other florists, the same arrangements were almost half the price. I had beautiful bouquets of calla lillies that were wrapped in silk ribbon. Everything that I asked for, they were able to provide; including a very rare type of calla lilly that was very difficult to find for no extra cost. The boutonnieres and corsages were also very beautiful. Everything was delivered to the venue and arrived before I did and a consultant was waiting to make sure everything looked perfect. I was very happy with my flowers and the service!

Everything was perfect. The staff were prompt and professional, and the flowers were just beautiful. They made the entire grand hall at Union Station smell like a garden! I couldn't have been happier.

I was extremely pleased in the end with the service I had from McNamara Florist. They worked with my budget and delivered everything we had discussed on the day of the wedding without any problem that day. The reason I would not give 5 stars was that I did have some issues along the way which seemed that they could have been avoided, but were not a problem the final day. I worked with McNamara during a transition point for one of their wedding designers and unfortunately I think some of the details were overlooked by the person who was leaving. Thankfully, when I discussed these with the designer who took-over our wedding after she left, the new designer was quick to fix any previous problems and further adjust my flowers as I desired. I was very pleased with my flowers on wedding day and did not have any problems the day of the wedding, which was the most important part to me.

We had a consulation with Mary Beth Brady at McNamara a few months after we got engaged. I showed her my vision of the flowers and reception centerpieces. She got it all!!!! The flowers are great. Our wedding color is gold, purple and brown.

Sara Thompson's floral creations are absolutely gorgeous! I went in not quite knowing what I wanted so I just told her some flowers I liked and let her take the reigns. The outcome was better than I ever could have imagined!

When we told Alan from McNamara that our idea was a chic, modern wedding, he took the idea and ran with it. Everything he made looked gorgeous! His use of mini calla lilies was perfect with everything! I loved my bouquet and the arrangements on the chuppah were beautiful! We also went with Asiatic Lilies for the centerpieces and bouquets and they made the room smell amazing.... He's worth every penny!

My florals absolutely blew me away. Spectacular for the price!

I used McNamara Florist for my wedding in August. The florists were very organized and helpful. The flowers themselves were extremely fresh and beautiful! I knew I would receive outstanding flowers with them! However, some flowers were loose in my bridal bouquet and actually fell out : ( I would recommend them to a friend!

I ordered my flowers in bulk through McNamara after getting outrageous prices from other vendors. We walked in expecting more high prices and Eileen was extremely friendly, helpful and had great suggestions! My friends and family seperated the bunches of flowers into different vases for the centerpieces and they looked awesome! Cost and delivery fee was much lower than other vendors and the flowers were perfect!

I was so excited after meeting with the florist. She was helpful, friendly, and even though I didn't have a complete vision for exactly what I wanted, she helped me to form one. The disappointment came on the day of the wedding. My cascade bouquet of stargazers, hydrangea, and dendrobium orchids showed up full of frilly filler flowers. I stared at it then told the woman that I had specifically requested no filler flowers. "But that's what the picture looked like!" After explaining that I had wanted a very clean look, she and her associate huffed that they would be able to take care of it. My bouquet returned minus the filler flowers, but began wilting before I even walked down the aisle! Also for pictures both during and after the ceremony (we didn't want to see each other before) the ruscus and orchids that were cascading down kept falling out! Also, the bouquet ended up being far larger than I had requested. You could barely see my dress in pictures unless I held it off to the side. Plus several of the boutonierres had drooping freesia by the reception. This included the best man when he gave his toast. I was able to look past the fact that the freesia in the bridemaids bouquets were far more purple than pink because it still looked nice with their dresses, but I was still rather disappointed with the flowers as a whole.

I waited until crunch time to book a florist. Enflora (a McNamara company) took on the challenge for a very reasonable fee, including delivery. Since I gave a very clear vision, including photos, to the designer, it was pretty easy for them to let me know if my vision was attainable or if things had to be changed. Although the order was placed last minute, it arrived on time at the designated area. The reason for the grade is that, although the flowers were beautiful and pretty much what I envisioned, the colors were slightly off and many arrangements fell apart before the end of the night--actually, they started falling apart from the moment we touched them. For example, several of the wired orchids in my bouquet fell out, my father's bout completely came apart, the monkey tail in DH's bout came off, and a few dahlias were lifeless.
