If you’re looking for a wedding planner who delivers absolute perfection, Lauren is it. Our wedding at The Don CeSar was nothing short of incredible, and that’s entirely thanks to ...
her and her team.
From the very beginning, Lauren provided exceptional vendor recommendations—every single one exceeded our expectations and helped bring our vision to life flawlessly. But what truly set her apart was the way she and her team anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Every time I *almost* thought of something—whether it was help securing my veil or wishing I had a drink while on the dance floor—someone was already there with the perfect solution. It felt effortless, seamless, and completely taken care of.
Because of Lauren, we were able to be fully present and actually enjoy every moment of our wedding weekend. Not once did I feel stressed or overwhelmed—just relaxed, happy, and soaking it all in. That kind of experience is priceless.
Afterwards, we all kept saying the same thing—we have genuinely never met anyone as exceptional at their job as Lauren and her team. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to execute everything flawlessly are truly unmatched.
Everything was absolutely perfect, and we’ll cherish those memories forever. If you want a truly stress-free wedding with a planner who goes above and beyond in every possible way, Lauren and MDP Events is the one.

e. I had booked a venue already and knew she had worked there before so I already trusted her with my life. I still don’t have words to articulate how thankful I am for her. Her patience with my numerous questions, her intense organization skills, and her ability to just understand exactly what you’re envisioning. I feel like I met a unicorn with her. She kept me on track for the entire year and a half of planning and made sure every deadline was met and we had every vendor ticked and tied. She was always responsive whenever I had a random question and we would be in constant email communication which as a stressed out bride, I really appreciated. Leading up to the wedding day was another level. She knew exactly what I wanted the wedding to look like and I knew she was going to achieve it but she truly went above and beyond. It wasn’t out of my Pinterest board it was 100x better than Pinterest. On the day of she was the biggest stress reliever and just such a positive reinforcement. Her and her team especially, they even helped me bustle my dress and make sure everything was perfect for me. I cannot recommend her enough. She made the wedding truly what it was. Everyone needs a Lauren.
Lauren is organized, professional, kind, and fun. Her team was excellent. Hiring her for our wedding was the best decision - best wedding planner!
I cannot say enough good things about Lauren and her team. She is truly a LUXURY wedding planner. I met Lauren when she was the wedding planner for my best friend’s wedding and imm...
ediately I was impressed. She was elegant, knowledgeable, confident, and graceful. When it was my turn, I knew I needed to work with Lauren and it was the best decision I ever made. Lauren was sent to my by God and I truly believe that. She made wedding planning so enjoyable. She would quickly, honestly, and confidently answer any question I had. She always calmed me down and made me feel better when I was worried or overwhelmed. She worked diligently to get me what I wanted. She took the time to get know my fiancé and I as a couple and to get to know our style. By the time the wedding came, she was able to make decisions knowing exactly what we would want to execute the vision. I trusted her so much that anytime she had an opinion, I immediately listened to her and it totally paid off. She thinks of everything before the wedding day and discusses it with you so that on the day of, you get to enjoy your day. Her timeline is so thorough and well thought out. Her vendor recommendations are top tier and if you use any of the vendors she recommends, you can do so with ease and confidence. Although she does not require you to use her recommended vendors, Lauren has high standards for herself and her brides and you can tell the vendors she works with meet those standards. On the day of the wedding, Lauren and Erin did everything they could to make sure we had a wonderful day. She was responsive the morning of as she was diligently working to execute our vision. Both Lauren and Erin would constantly ask us what we needed and if we were doing okay. There is not a single thing that Lauren promised and could not deliver on. We had a wedding of 250 people and a bridal party of 24 people- Lauren and Erin were able to manage everyone with such ease and keep us on time. Their energy is so calming and approachable. Throughout the wedding, they would constantly bring us drinks, food, ice cream and anything to make sure we actually had a great experience. At the end, they packed everything up for us and had it sent to our room as discussed. Lauren is the best in the business and I am so thankful we chose her to be our wedding planner. During the planning process, I sent so many photos from Pinterest that I started to worry our wedding would be a copy of other people’s weddings. When I saw my reception space, I was brought to tears. Our wedding looked just like the photos and nothing like them all at the same time- it was unique to us and still inspired by the photos we sent. It was our very own fairytale. Our wedding day was a dream come true- it was truly magic and Lauren was our magician. We love Lauren and her team so much and will forever be so grateful to them.

If you’re looking for someone who will go the extra mile and treat your wedding as if it were her own, look no further than Erin and the amazing team at MDP Events!

es away) to plan the most amazing day of our lives. She masterfully planned every step of the way and always kept us on track. We were so well prepared that we were able to actually enjoy the few weeks leading up to our wedding knowing that everything was in order. Lauren curated the most incredible vendor team that made our day feel like the perfect reflection of us. She understood our vision and made it come to life. I am a detail oriented person who likes to see a good plan come together so I thought I’d be stressed on our wedding day wanting to make sure everything went as planned but I didn’t think about it for a second. I felt so relaxed on our day, not a worry in my mind, knowing Lauren and her team had everything handled. Everything was flawlessly executed! Working with Lauren and her team was the best decision we made for our wedding and we would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
We worked with Lauren for partial planning for my May 2024 wedding at The Westin in Sarasota and had a great experience. I am not local, so we appreciated Lauren’s willingness to ...
coordinate site visits with my visits to Sarasota, and she gave us several vendor recommendations at the start of the planning process. We also really appreciated that she reviewed all of our vendor contracts before we committed. She worked with us on a very detailed timeline of the wedding day that we would review together several times before the big day, so we always felt organized and on top of things. On the day of, we felt very relaxed and able to enjoy the moment because Lauren and her team had all the vendor/planning details under control at the venue!

The GOATs, MDP Events. It’s impossible to express how much love I have for this team. I have experienced other weddings as a bridesmaid and as a guest, so I was fully prepared for ...
our wedding day to have its bumps, to have its imperfect moments. When I say our wedding day was perfect - I mean it was flawless. And all the credit goes to Lauren & Erin. I am an ADHD girlie and I can struggle when I’m juggling too many things at once, I have a hard time prioritizing & not getting hyper-focused on one task and forgetting the rest. This team was like medicine. They are so organized and they provide so much support throughout the whole process. They keep you on schedule and help you focus on what’s important, when it’s important.
I had a very specific vibe I was going for, but the picture in my head was blurry when it came down to details and specifics. Lauren was incredible in listening to me, seeing my vision, and bringing that vision to life. She provided me with a perfectly curated list of vendor options, each one matching exactly what I was going for. And the way it all came together was beyond anything I could’ve ever dreamed of.
Honestly I laugh at what our wedding day would’ve been without this team, I probably would’ve given up around the 9 month mark. Wedding planning can be overwhelming and stressful, but if you have the opportunity to make it easier, to make it feel lighter - it is 1000% with MDP Events. They are a joy to work with, and the absolute best humans. They gave my husband & I the wedding of our dreams and I wish every set of fiancés could experience their magic. So much love for y’all xoxo

We had a venue walk through where Lauren & Erin attended and everyone in my family was just so impressed with their expertise and professionalism! If you want a stress free wedding day do yourself a favor and hire MDP Events! We were blown away and we can't thank them enough for making our wedding day perfect!!

And, I can say all this truthfully in spite of the fact that we had some lighting equipment challenges as well as threatening weather, both of which could have been disastrous were it not for Lauren's calm composure and resourcefulness. When you plan a major outdoor event you really want to know that the person you hire will be able to manage any potential glitches that come your way. Lauren is your person!

I hired her as a month of coordinator, but even 11 months out, she answered every question I had, provided easy solutions for problems or concerns that came up, gave me top-tier vendor recommendations, checked on me regularly, and always assured me that everything would be perfect. And it was.
Her problem-solving abilities and eye for detail are unmatched! And anything you throw her way, she takes it with a smile. Her confidence, style, and positivity were such a comforting presence to have on a day when nerves and emotions are high! But I did not worry about a SINGLE thing on my wedding day.
