Meadow Ridge Events is a family-run outdoor wedding venue located in eastern Geauga County, and it has been running since 1976. This stunning 80-acre property is ideal for couples who wish to wed amongst nature and experience a relaxed but elegant atmosphere. You can host your dream wedding celebration at Meadow Ridge Events with your choice of two covered event spaces and ceremony sites.
During the summer, you and your loved one can exchange vows surrounded by tall trees under a wooden arbor at the Creekside Gazebo. Rows of white chairs can be lined out on the green grass, ready for your entrance. This nature-filled setting with a wooden bridge and two waterfalls is great for private ceremonies in the great outdoors. Not to mention, it provides one-of-a-kind photo opportunities before and after the ceremony. Banquets, cocktail hours, and receptions can then take place under the Oak Pavilion. This open-air structure is complete with a high ceiling and ample lighting. The area can be rearranged in a number of ways and include space for seating, mingling, a dance floor, and live entertainment, should you wish. Additional facilities include the Sugarhouse Bridal Suite, which allows you and your bridal party to relax prior to the ceremony.
The second area of the property includes the awe-inspiring Maple Pavilion and Wedding Island. Wedding Island offers a panoramic lake view, seasonal landscaping, and a babbling brook as a backdrop for your ceremony. Stroll across a manicured lawn to the Maple Pavilion, featuring soaring ceilings, a double-sided fireplace, a 75-foot deck, and post-and-beam construction. The Maple Pavilion also includes the use of the Barn Bridal Suite, which has a new outdoor patio and access to the on-site garden with fresh produce and herbs.
Speaking of gardens, Meadow Ridge provides in-house catering using fresh, local ingredients made from scratch. The full staff also provides all of the set up, service, and clean up to make your day seamless. You will work with an Event Manager who will ensure that you and your loved ones are taken care of and your day runs smoothly.

owners had in their venue and the beautiful scenic views. Our wedding was on 6/15 at the Maple pavilion and it was perfect in every way. Seneca was our event manager and she answered every question I had (and I had many) and provided amazing customer service. I can tell that Seneca is very experienced as she handled our wedding day with grace and a very relaxed attitude while still getting every detail perfect. She easily transported the wedding party from the getting ready areas to where they needed to be and at the right time too. I really feel that Seneca goes above and beyond what you ask for from the communication to the hours they spend getting your vision to the venue. Now...the food. The food is all made in house and it was the best food I've ever had at a wedding. They also had a very detailed food menu you can choose- from amazing mac and cheese, candied sweet potatoes, brisket, to snack options like gourmet pizzas or fruit and cheese platters. Everyone at the wedding complimented the food and got seconds to thirds! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and this is truly a wedding space right out of my dreams. Thank you to everyone who made our day so special, our best decision we ever made regarding the wedding was having it here.

I have been a wedding coordinator for over 20 years and I know how hard it easy to make a wedding day look effortless but they nailed it. The attention to the details is unsurpassed. From the little touches in the Airbnb to literally setting everything up for you the day of the wedding, they go above and beyond expectations.

Coming from the bridge & groom's perspective, they made sure there was not a single thing to worry about. Our guests and vendors absolutely loved the place and felt that the staff were helpful. The food was 10/10, you won't find a better wedding cuisine!! The natural beauty of the manicured landscape, flowers and trees makes for a photographers dream.
They have an efficient system from start to finish. You call, arrange, and pay for your vendors, and Meadow Ridge takes it from there. Absolutely stress-free. We cannot recommend this place enough!

nly three responded. Out of those, we absolutely fell in love with this one—and it felt like the right choice from the start.
The deposit was 7,000, which initially seemed a bit steep, but we felt confident it would be put to good use—and it truly was. I sent quite a few emails with questions (including food allergies and other special accommodations), and the staff was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. They genuinely wanted our experience to be special, and it showed.
We ended up doing our rehearsal as a brunch there, and it was perfect. The food was delicious—we had muffins, an egg dish, hash browns, fruit salad, and sausage (which was seriously so good!). The vibe was relaxed and lovely.
One of the best parts was that Meadow Ridge let us bring all our decorations the day before, which made the actual wedding day so much smoother and stress-free. Beth (day of coordinator) was absolutely amazing—she truly made the day unforgettable. She worked at our pace, was incredibly thoughtful, and even carved out 15 minutes just for my husband and me to have a quiet moment together. It meant the world to us.
The bartenders were also fantastic—they handed us drinks right after our ceremony and made sure our bridal party was taken care of, which is something I’ve never seen at any other wedding. They even brought us an appetizer so we could have a bite to eat amid the chaos.

Seneca was a dream to work with and she helped every step of the way and made the wedding planning process a breeze. The food was absolutely delicious and, a month after our wedding, we are still hearing people rave about it. On the day of the wedding, the staff really went above and beyond! Throughout the evening, they made sure we had everything we needed. Someone on the staff continually found us somewhere on the grounds and handed us cocktails and bottles of water! We never had to ask anyone to do anything. Everything was done very efficiently, things ran smoothly and there was never anything to fuss or worry about. We HIGHLY recommend using Meadow Ridge Events for your wedding (or any other event)!! You will NOT be disappointed!

It was truly with the help of Seneca and the Smith Family, that the event was perfect! Seneca is kind, professional, accommodating, and recognizes the importance of your event. All of the staff (most of them family) have the same philosophy and are excellent at offering quality service in the hospitality industry. They have a talent, and they all take pride in fulfilling their obligation.
The highest compliments came after the wedding. So many of the guests have reached out to both families to say, "it truly was the Best Wedding they had attended."
They raved about the venue, staff, grounds and food!
The next day we had the pleasure of meeting the owner-Mastermind who had a vision for this property. It gave us the opportunity to express our compliments. He was overwhelmed and genuinely touched by our gratitude.
This is a great Family who is happy to share their vision, talents and venue and take great pride in making your event not only memorable but truly exceeded our expectations. It honestly was the "BEST DAY EVER".

The staff was phenomenal and everyone was just so NICE. The food was INCREDIBLE and we got so many comments about how good it was. The Maple Pavilion was perfect and everything we wanted. The team set up everything according to my directions and it looked so much better in person than in my vision :) We honestly could not have asked for a better wedding day and the team at Meadow Ridge has a HUGE part in making it so special. She decorated the venue the morning of and it was everything I could have ever imagined and more. The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly, always walking around making sure everyone was having a great time. This is a family run business and you can truly tell they are so proud of what they do, as they should be! I had no stress the day of our wedding because I knew everything would be handled by Seneca and her staff. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants an outdoor wedding.

Seneca was amazing with providing us with all the information and getting our wedding booked. Then we were provided with our event planner Beth, I can't even put into words how she went above and beyond for us. Beth was incredible with helping organize and making sure our wedding day was stunning. We really couldn't of done it without her. Our wedding day was a dream come true, from the ceremony on the island, the amazing food, awesome bartenders, beautiful weather, and to the stunning venue. The day went so smoothly and perfect. My husband and I were blown away with how perfect everything was and can't believe it's already over. I highly reccommend booking Meadow Ridge Events venue for your wedding day, you really can't find anything better. This venue is truly something out of a fairytale. lly made our day run smoothly. It was raining on and off, so she drove us around the campus to take pictures. The staff also set up everything(center pieces, signs) before we even got on campus. Being able to bring your own alcohol was also great and saved us a lot of money. After our ceremony we wanted a few minutes away from guests, so Seneca picked us up in a golf cart and dropped us off with a tray of apps to enjoy together. She picked us up with drink orders and brought us back to the reception. The entire staff kept coming to our table and other guests tables to ask if they needed anything -refills etc. The Venue is gorgeous, so it doesn't need much decoration. If you're debating using this Venue, don't hesitate, they are really top notch and care so much about their family business and it really shows

st off, the food was amazing! Take it from me as someone who gets to eat at 30-40 venues a year. 10/10! What really stood out was the staff. They were so accommodating. It was the first time I had worked with them but everyone just made it feel like you were working with family ( in a good way :) ). Outside of all of that. The venue is absolutely beautiful!
Overall if your looking for a venue and a venue that will not only take care of you but also your vendors. Look no further!

When the weather quickly turned into a bad thunderstorm (my biggest worry), the staff quickly moved into action to help re-arrange the band and tables to keep our party going. The rain actually made for a great time dancing outside and the perfect memory. Our wedding coordinator Beth was the best! She promptly answered every little question we had in the months leading up to the wedding and calmed the brides nerves throughout the wedding day. hemselves are nothing short of the best mother nature has to offer - surrounded by trees, a babbling creek nearby, beautiful landscaping in every season, plus gorgeous sunsets if you're lucky! We saw many of our guests sitting by the pond and walking around the property during our reception simply to take in the beauty of this venue. Both high-ceilinged pavilions on the property, especially all decorated with flowers and candles, are truly something out of a fairy tale.
Second, you are not only choosing the Meadow Ridge property but the thorough, detail-oriented, friendly, and professional team of staff. Our day-of coordinator, Seneca, could not have been more responsive and helpful with every single question and detail in the months, weeks, and days leading up to our event. And on our wedding day, I knew that I wouldn't have to worry over a single thing as the Meadow Ridge staff would have it covered a hundred times over! They are a family run business, and everyone at Meadow Ridge made us feel truly at home before and during our wedding.
Third, the food! If you want a wedding meal that tastes wonderfully homemade, you've found it. We had a BBQ-inspired dinner, with pulled pork, chicken, mac & cheese, and more, and our guests were thrilled. Coming up with a menu to fit our budget and style was so easy with the flexibility offered by Meadow Ridge. Everything was served so fresh and hot, and the buffet dinner service went extremely smoothly.
Overall, Meadow Ridge Events allowed us to have the nature-inspired, romantic, laid-back wedding that we envisioned. The entire staff could not have been more professional or helpful - even setting up & tearing down a whole bunch of yard games and photobooth stations for us, in addition to all of our decorations. Guests raved about the beauty of the venue, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our day!

a setting as this one. There is an open structure surrounded by woods, rolling lawns and a gorgeous pond. It features the surrounding nature while still being quite elegant. The food is truly DELICIOUS, and it is provided by the nicest, friendliest, most cheerful staff, who greatly add to an elegant yet relaxed ambiance. This balance is often not achieved by other companies, so you may not find this wonderful tone elsewhere. Their skill and effort really show that they are a family business where every person is 100 % caring and dedicated to making your wedding perfect.

he willow trees, to the beautiful landscaping and serene lake. Talk about a wedding photographers dream venue! It was so nice to not have to travel with my bridal party all over for pictures. It enabled us to spend more time with our family and friends!
Next, but certainly not least- we have to discuss the FOOD. No joke when I tell you that almost all of our guests reached out to us to tell us how delicious the food was. Make sure and include the macaroni & cheese as a side dish for dinner and the pizza as an appetizer, you and your guests can thank me later.
Last of all, I can't thank the staff at Meadow Ridge enough. They treat you like family and want to make sure your big day is just as special as you've always imagined it. Beth, our coordinator, was so sweet, patient, and completely willing to work with you on any ideas you have. She even gave me a little pep talk before walking down the aisle when she saw my nerves. At the end of the night their staff was so helpful and efficient in packing up our décor and loading up our cars and the party bus.
We can't say enough about how wonderful our wedding experience was, and how we'll always be so thankful we chose Meadow Ridge for our wedding day.

venue that can provide literally everything for you, just stop your search and contact Meadow Ridge Events right now I worked with Seneca and Matt and their approach to working with clients and vendors is unmatched!
I was able to come out and work through the set-up logistics with them, they were super-accommodating to us. We were able to communicate throughout the entire event (from 11am until 11pm) so things stayed on track and on schedule. We provided live ceremony music, live cocktail music and of course live reception music. Matt was always close by to work with me and I really really appreciated that.
The entire crew that works for Meadow Ridge are also really great people. The servers took care of us just like the guests and were very complimentary of the band. Then there's the FOOD which I could go on and on about So so good. I made the comment to Matt that I wish I could have put in an order for 5 lbs. of their brisket to take home with me!
Everything is truly 5 STARS!! Contact them soon because they are definitely booking up fast!

May 2021. As you can see in the pictures, the property is stunning and makes an incredible backdrop for all your photos. Seneca was extremely supportive during the planning process, and always made herself available to answer our many detailed questions. This is a family owned & run property, and when you speak to Seneca and her team, you can immediately tell how much they love what they do. Food was excellent - we chose the chicken, garlic smashed potatoes, grilled summer veggies, polenta with tomato basil tapenade, salad & rolls. Honestly I could eat it again right now! They were very accommodating in making modifications for a few guests who had dietary restrictions. Last but not least, the service provided by Seneca & her team on wedding day was NEXT level. They were so attentive and gracious, and I felt so grateful for their support to make sure everything went smoothly. Anytime we needed anything, Seneca & her team were easy to find and willing to help. Meadow Ridge was a top contender from the start of my wedding planning process, but I did extensive research on 20+ other venues. I can confidently say there is nowhere in Northeast Ohio that compares to Meadow Ridge.

y nice venue tours down we pulled into Meadow Ridge and stopped at the first pavilion. After looking across the grounds, seeing the 2nd pavilion, pond, and being greeted by an extremely friendly family, I asked if this was her favorite. She said yes. We called the last venue and told them we wouldn't be coming, we'd made our choice.
That's how long it took to pick Meadow Ridge, 3 minutes on the property with the family that runs it. From that day on, we felt nothing but magic from the Meadow Ridge team planning our big day. Seneca answered endless emails, returned countless calls, and did everything possible to make the big day perfect. The team really stepped up to make sure nothing fell through the cracks on the big day. They adapted the menu to fit what we needed, accommodated all of our guests, and threw one hell of a party (you HAVE to get the pizza for cocktail hour!).
I cannot emphasize enough how hard the team worked on wedding day to assure we needed nothing. I cant think of a single detail that could have gone better than it did. We even had some guests ask how we were related to the venue owners! Our photographer went wild with pictures around the wonderfully kept grounds. Our DJ loved throwing lighting on the beautiful pavilion and playing music all night. We received many comments on how good the food was, especially the pork!
Meadow Ridge certainly isn't the cheapest venue to host a wedding. I did find plenty of venues that were more expensive, and I would be willing to say that at any price point there isn't a more welcoming, hard working team to share your big day with. I would recommend Meadow Ridge to anyone from the bottom of my heart.

on the spot when anything was needed. The food was outstanding, even exceeding expectations, especially the beef brisket. It was honestly the best brisket i have ever had, and i had multiple comments from friends and family saying how much they enjoyed it.
This is truthfully a beautiful and one of a kind outdoor venue. Everything about the landscaping and pavilion set up was perfect. Also my wife and i lucked out with the weather that day, which made it even better.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Between the scenery, attention to detail, delicious food, service, and atmosphere, you can’t beat Meadow Ridge. Matt and Seneca do a fantastic job running this place. My wife and i will be forever grateful!

ell you now, one week after our wedding, that we were meant to be there all along. Our reception was in the maple pavilion as another wedding was booked in the oak (we preferred maple anyway). Do not be worried that you event will suffer if they have two events in the same night, you’d never know!
Laura was our event coordinator and she is my official maid of honor, that’s how awesome she was! Seneca and Matt (and Nevada and Art and everyone) were awesome and made the whole weekend so special from the rehearsal dinner through to the morning after when we picked up all our decor.
It was a fairy tale, truly. We didn’t want for anything and our parents were utterly ecstatic, even though we had an entirely outdoor event in early July. It was hot, humid, but totally tolerable. The food was excellent, the venue beautiful, and the grounds impeccable. Honestly, we cannot day enough.
Do not hesitate to have your wedding here. Or your ceremony! We were set in a church wedding, but again because of COVI we were “Forced” to have our ceremony outside. We faced the woods and it was perfect.
I could talk for hours about the perfection of the venue, and the staff, but you’ll get bored, surely. Everyone in the area was awesome too which made coordinating last minute vendors a breeze! Coffee corners has the best muffins, perfect for a girls breakfast wedding morning, and DS Cakes and Sweet Cafe has delicious cakes and cupcakes.

ntive to every need that my husband and I had. They did everything in their power to ensure that everything went as smoothly and efficiently as possible. From making the planning process insanely easy to ensuring that my husband and I always had a drink in hand at the reception, they could not have done better.
The food was incredible. They were kind enough to bring us in to do a tasting at their restaurant when we were stuck between two different protein options. Not only was the food amazing, but they were willing to create a menu for us. For us, our dinner was something that had turned us away from other venues. We knew exactly what we wanted, and they made it happen for us even though it was not an option they originally gave us.
The fact that they set up & tear down for everything is a tremendous burden that is taken off of the bride & groom.
We cannot say enough positive things about this place. They go above & beyond, and our wedding day was absolutely perfect with their help. Thank You Meadow Ridge, you guys are amazing.

The staff
From the moment we saw the place to the day of our wedding, the staff at Meadow Ridge was undeniably THE BEST. I worked with Beth, our personal coordinator to make sure all the details came together. From a custom meal to a custom layout of the venue, she made it work for us. Meadow Ridge sets everything up for you the day before your wedding and takes everything down with care . We didn't have to do anything.
Also, on the day of, the staff made my immediate family and wedding party feel extra special by remembering drink orders and bringing them out to you when you looked low. Seriously, amazing people.
The venue
We were in the Oak. Just go see it. It's magical. We had a 65 degree day with about at 45 degree night and everyone was amazingly comfortable. We were going to set up a photo area but the grounds were so beautiful that there was no need to.
OH and it's very kid friendly. I think the kids had more fun than the adults.
Food
Farm fresh and oh so tasty food. I'm still getting compliments on how awesome the food was.
Overall—go see meadow ridge. Talk to the family. Fall in love with everything they have to offer. It's amazingly beautiful.
