Melissa was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. She was incredibly helpful in the weeks and months leading to the wedding in answering any and all questions we had. The day of the wedding she was there capturing the best moments of our big day, and we can’t wait to see the finished photos!

I seldom write reviews but Melissa was so amazing that I need to recommend her for others! From the first contact to her last communication, Melissa answered all questions quickly and professionally. The day of our wedding she communicated with me which was so reassuring and sensitive. Melissa’s energy is very calm and peaceful which made such a difference for me. She listened to our wishes and also calmly told us her ideas for some of the photos. They all came out so beautifully! Her guidance and knowledge of what would look good in a photo was wonderful. During the reception, Melissa took many beautiful spontaneous photos but was very discreet and honoring of situations. Again, her calm and peaceful ways were so appreciated. The only thing I regret that we did not keep her longer. She works by the hour and we had agreed on 5 hours but I wish we would have kept her until the end of cleanup. She send a digital file within two weeks and also send a photo stick with over 700 beautiful photos. For some reason, I wiped the stick clean by accident. Melissa immediately agreed to send me another one. Her pictures online will be accessible for one year. I know other photographers might do the same but the price they charge is triple or even more in many cases. Melissa is very VERY reasonable with her fee and as skilled as any photographer. When my daughter saw my wedding pictures, she said that she wished she would have hired Melissa. Her photographer was more than triple the price and did not take nearly as many pictures. Thank you Melissa for making our event more enjoyable through your presence and giving us such beautiful photos to cherish! I very highly recommend Melissa Lauren!!!

Melissa was FANTASTIC to work with from start to finish. She was recommended to us from our reception vendor. She was prompt to respond to all correspondence. Our wedding day went so smoothly with her. She was kind, sweet, professional and made us feel very comfortable. Our photos are absolutely stunning and we couldn't be happier!! It has been so fun looking through them reliving that day. We had a destination beach wedding and dinner cruise reception--she captured each and every little moment perfectly. Melissa was AMAZING!!!! She photographed my brothers wedding. I cannot say enough great things about her. Her pictures speak for themselves and her personality is wonderful. She was kind hearted, warm and helpful with pictures. She got so many shots and angles it was unbelievable. She had two cameras all night and it is hard to believe she is a one man show with her amazing images. I wish I knew about Melissa when I got married. She would have been hired in a second. OMG!!! I just saw the photo gallery of my daughter's wedding Keila and Anthony and the it is just breathtaking!! I'm so glad that I was able to have Melissa Lauren Images photograph my wedding! After extensive research online, I came across their website. I immediately loved the photos that I saw, and thought their rates were very fair in comparison to other price quotes that I received. I appreciated their prompt replies to my emails, and their willingness to answer all of my questions throughout the entire process leading up to my wedding day. The booking process was so simple, and I loved that I could complete everything online. Melissa showed up on time on my big day, and went right to work. If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would! Alex was absolutely fantastic! I go back and look at our wedding photos literally everyday and am so happy with them. He truly captured every moment. He was quick to answer any emails I sent with questions and made sure to get any specific looks I wanted. Steve there are not enough words to say about my amazing experience with my wedding photographer. Alex was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable and of course made wedding pictures so fun! I am from Illinois and planned a destination wedding in Florida so I was very nervous about choosing vendors without having any experience with them but one of the best decisions I made on my wedding day was choosing this company as my photographers! I would recommend them over and over to anyone!

Melissa Lauren Images is truly amazing!! It took us a while to find a wedding photographer as we did not want to spend an arm and leg on wedding pictures but also wanted the pictures to be elegant and beautiful. We definitely found that in Melissa Lauren Images. The price point was great along with how the pictures turned out. I wanted pictures that would be timeless and classic. I am not a fan of pictures that have a lot of different under tones when they are edited as to me it does not look natural in regards to the background etc. Melissa Lauren Images defiantly surpassed my expectations. Alex was our photographer and we had him for the whole day (8hrs). He arrived to the hotel promptly and was super respectful. I did not have to tell him what shots I wanted etc he just knew which is great. Also all our guests loved him as well. I had a few tell me that they forgot there was even a photographer in the room. I would definatly use Melissa Lauren Images again for any of my photography needs.

I found Melissa Lauren Images online when I was looking for local photographers who had smaller packages. Melissa and Alex both responded to messages quickly and professionally when we were making inquiries. Their promptness in responding was a big draw for me and my husband. Alex arrived on time and got right to work at our wedding. He was friendly and pleasant to work with. When it came to posing for our photos, he was very helpful. He put everyone at ease (including the little flower girls!) and moved everyone into their positions efficiently. During the reception we knew he was around and snapping pictures but he was so unobtrusive that it was really comfortable. We just got the pictures back this week and they are gorgeous! Alex captured everything we wanted in a beautiful way. His work is outstanding. We are so glad we found Melissa Lauren Images and we will recommend them to anyone who asks. Book them. You won't regret it.

One of my best friends got married in May 2016 & had Alex as her photographer. After seeing how hard he worked during her wedding & seeing her photos, I did my research on Melissa Lauren Images and found nothing but rave reviews. I decided to book them for my own wedding, as well as my engagement photo shoot. Working with Alex on both occasions was such a pleasure!! He really listens to what you want, is very patient & gets a variety of photos. Everyone at my wedding was so pleased that he was patient & allowed them to take pictures of their own and also took the opportunity to take pictures himself. He was my favorite vendor that I booked for my wedding and the pricing is very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Melissa Lauren Images for any event. Alex is superb! My husband and I could not be any happier with our photos!!!

Alex came and photographed my wedding on 10/21/17 and he was THE BEST. He took our silly photo requests, let us relax when our "smile batteries" we're running out and was so professional the entire evening. He was all over the venue capturing tons and tons of photos. I HIGHLY recommend Melissa Lauren Images! Melissa was AWESOME! She did an amazing job photographing our wedding! We had her come for a few hours in the morning/afternoon for the ceremony and then she came back to do sunset photos on the beach. It was very hard trying to find a photographer that would do that and break it down into a customized hourly package, without going way over our budget. Melissa asked to view my Pinterest page to look at any photos I have liked from other weddings. On our special day, Melissa kept asking if I wanted to do this pose/photo since it was on my Pinterest page. WOW! I couldn't even remember what I had pinned to that page, so the fact that she knew those was absolutely amazing! She was super fast with editing the photos, which was great that we didn't have to wait long to view them all. Thank you so much, Melissa! We loved working with you and having you photograph our special day!

In researching photographers, I found many who produced quality pictures but for a fairly high price. Then I found Melissa Lauren Images. Their pictures on their website were top-notch, and their price was very affordable. Their process, from start to finish, was a cinch- everything was available online and through their website (contract, pictures, payment, everything). But =none of these are the real reason I'm writing this review. Meet Melissa and Alex and you'll understand. I was lucky enough to have both at my wedding, and they were the PERFECT photographers! The candids they took were priceless! The most difficult decision I have to make about my wedding pictures is which ones should go on the wall- I want to hang them all!!! :D

We had Melissa shoot our engagement photos last year and both Melissa and Alex for our March wedding. Both of them are super kind, professional and great at their jobs. We used the engagement shoot as a sort of trial before booking them for our wedding and we were amazed at how great all of our pictures came out. At the wedding, they were always on top of things. I asked Melissa when we got to the reception site if she could take detail shots before the guests went in and she said Alex already did it; we had a guest who wanted a picture with us at the reception and I said 'oh let me find our photographer' and as soon as I turned around she was there. The photos were returned to us really quick (in fact, I asked her to hold off a little bit since we were going on our honeymoon two weeks after the wedding). We received around 1,700 photos, all great quality. Highly recommend!

Melissa was the BEST photographer I have ever met! She had exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to capture the most amazing moments of my engagement and wedding. She took pictures I couldn't have even imagined that i could capture. She also has a variety of packages that meets any budget needs. Our wedding pictures are very nice, although we missed ALOT of pictures with family members. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't specify what pictures I wanted or if the photographer wasn't organized as far as knowing "ok, bride with mom, bride with dad, any grandparents", etc. I think about having my wedding all over again because of the pictures we missed. But I will say the photographer, Melissa did an amazing job photoshopping my husband's late father in a couple pictures and she was very pleasant to work with!

Amazing!! Alex was not only the best photographer, but if I have to rank all my vendors, he was #1. He was at every step of my wedding, and delivered the most beautiful pictures. He also did my engagement session, and at that time I knew I hired the best.

We hired Melissa Lauren Images after finding them online and speaking with Alex. We scheduled our engagement session with him first at Honeymoon Island and immediately scheduled him for our wedding day, 1/21/2017 at the westchase Golf Club. We received our engagement pictures back within days and they came our gorgeous! We were so pleased. We hired Alex for our wedding day, and he arrived and blended in completely with the event, taking pictures, making sure we got all of the pic/poses that we wanted, and professional. He was so organized. Throughout the entire process, he made it so seamless to communicate, make deposits, complete the contract, etc. On the wedding night, he gave us and our guests a business card with our images album website and and approximately time frame of when the pictures would be available. For both the engagement and wedding albums, he emailed us once the online albums were ready and mailed us a USB with all of the pictures. Approximately 3 weeks after the wedding(as the card noted), we recieved our pictures and are in love! We would definitely recommend Alex and Melissa Lauren Images to anyone looking for a easy-to-work-with, organized, professional, fantastic photographer! Thank you Alex!!

Mellisa and Alex were amazing she snapped so many pictures laughed along with us and we just revived the pics and they were amazing she captured everything !

I do not have enough good things to say about MelissaLauren Images. They had actually photographed our friends' wedding and I loved how their pictures turned out. They were punctual, involved, directive yet calm & relaxing. Every in the wedding party loved them both and we even got compliments from the guests on how nice our photographers were. Pictures just came back and we LOVE them! They captured everything and everyone! I would choose them time and time again. :)

Melissa Lauren Images did a phenomenal job at our wedding!!! Alex got there on time and immediately began taking photos. He was very polite and patient as I was trying to figure out what pictures we wanted to take. Their prices were prefect for the amount of time that we needed them for. Alex was our wedding photographer, and we couldn’t be more pleased with his talent, skill, professionalism, and his demeanor. I really appreciated that in the mix of trying to accomplish family photos with elderly, kids, and strong opinions, Alex was very calm and accommodating. My sister is a professional photographer in San Francisco and tends to have strong opinions, and she remarked on what a great job Alex did in venue with tricky lighting. Alex didn’t ask us to do any cheesy poses like the groom chasing the bride or every jumping in the air like they just won the lotto or something. He was able to read us, offering suggestions that suited us as a couple. At the time I was almost 6 months pregnant, and Alex created a fabulous shot of my husband on one knee kissing my belly with amazing lighting on the dance floor. Everyone who has seen it LOVES it! Also, I appreciated that Alex was available before the wedding for my last minute questions and he was able to offer helpful information on where to find hair and make-up artist. Ok there is more… I am so glad he walked around and took pictures of little décor details that I had made such as the painted table numbers, card box ect. He truly was a blessing for our wedding day and we feel so fortunate to have chosen him to capture our most special day! I would absolutely recommend him!

Melissa was such a joy to work with! I'm so glad she spent the day with us. She is super sweet and knows what she's doing! I can be somewhat picky about my photos and how I like things, because Hey! You only get married once! But- I heard so many great things about Melissa before I hired her from friends who had her as their photographer. Amazing! Alex did a wonderful job. Very professional, handled all the crazy chaos that went on while us ladies were trying to get ready. He got a ton of amazing photos. My husband and I are so in love with our wedding photos! Alex shot our engagement photos as well, and we couldn't be happier. Imagine the process of locating professional, helpful, courteous, detail-driven vendors for ALL aspects of your special day over the phone and internet alone! Which brings me to our photographer....Perfect. Professional. Thorough. Personable. All the moments we had hoped for when it came to capturing our special day...We have them! And then some! I'll say we did receive a "vendor list" from the venue and we researched 3 other prospective photographers and just didn't feel comfortable with any of them, from prices and potential "extra fees" to time constraints. Thankfully, my now husband took control at that point(giving credit where it's due here!), and he found Melissa Lauren Images online and he exchanged communication with them to book our wedding. All the email exchanges with Melissa Lauren Images were prompt and all of our questions were answered thoroughly. The pricing was very reasonable and very simple to understand. We simply COULD NOT be more pleased with the great amount of images sent to us within a few short weeks of our wedding. Stunning. And plenty of images to keep. I am so pleased with the services Melissa provided my husband and I; both for our engagement session, and our wedding! She was so easy to communicate with, and very flexible. For our engagement session, the weather was being SO difficult! We went back and forth so many times changing the dates and times trying to beat the rain, and I really appreciated Melissa's patience through that. The months leading up to my wedding were tumultuous. We lost several members of our family, including both our fathers. Melissa and Alex are an amazing team. They captured our wedding perfectly. They were fun, and professional. They stayed as late as I needed. Their photos were amazing. I'm a full-figured bride and sometimes finding someone who knows how to take flattering photos of your body shape can be a challenge. Melissa and Alex both alleviated my concerns very quickly.
