nt perfectly. Lori and Curtis did an exceptional job overseeing the day and ensuring everything went smoothly. We were SO impressed. The salon was perfect for getting ready in, the lounge was fun for the guys to hang out in. The ceremony site we used was in the forest. In late October, the leaves were in full force and it was honestly the most perfect fall day. The heritage barn was an amazing event space. Plenty of dance floor space, the tables were set up by their team exactly as I had dreamt, and the food was so good (I’m still dreaming of the filet mignon meatballs.) The cabins are so fun to have friends and family stay onsite. The honeymoon cabin is newly renovated and has a gorgeous view of the lake. I wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day. This was our easiest wedding decision.

looking for a beautiful, country wedding that literally has it ALL, look no further. We loved that everything was on-site. Our rehearsal dinner was in the beautiful Rose Room, ceremony by the Kissing Bridge with the trees and lake in the background on a picture-perfect day, reception in the gorgeous Heritage Barn and then had our breakfast the next morning in the adorable café. And to top it all off, almost our entire wedding was able to stay in the cutest cabins/rooms which made it all so special and truly felt like a weekend getaway with all our favorite people. For anyone who didn’t want to stay on-site, Mount Airy Resort is a quick 5-minute drive and Ubers were readily available in the area so they had no problem coming and going. I’ve been to a lot of weddings and let’s face it, the food at big catering halls is mediocre at best. That is certainly not the case at Memorytown. The food was outstanding! People are still talking about how good it was. If you’re just starting out looking for barn venues, I’m here to warn you that we looked at several before finding Memorytown and most do not include catering in their price (and the prices are outrageous!). Having to bring in catering, pick linens, flatware, plates, etc. are just more things to add to the never-ending list of to-dos. No thank you! Memorytown had everything and made it all SO simple. Amazing food and an already gorgeous venue, that even if you didn’t add a single piece of décor, would STILL be beautiful. I've been a bridesmaid in several weddings and I have never seen a bigger, more beautiful setup than the Memorytown bridal suite. It was like a true salon set-up and my girls and glam squad were so happy to be in such a comfortable space. (This was a huge plus because we spent as much time, if not more, in the bridal suite getting ready as we did at the wedding!) And the Buck's Lounge where the guys got ready - SO cool. Very modern setup with a big TV, bar, couches, etc. And last but certainly not least, I need to give a special shout-out to Lori - I swear, if she wasn't working the wedding, I would've invited her as a guest because she felt like Aunt Lori by the time we got to the wedding day. She was the absolute sweetest, down-to-earth person and was SO easy to work with. She always answered all the questions I had and worked with us to make sure everything was just the way we wanted. Through the whole process she was calm and fun and just the exact type of person I needed to work with during the stressful/exciting process of wedding planning. Lori - thank you to you and your amazing staff for being a huge part of making our special day so perfect! (I'm definitely not crying again ...) I could go on and on but I'll end off with this - another thing that makes this place so special is that me and my husband can relive it all. There are not many wedding venues you can go back to unless you happen to get invited to another wedding there. But Memorytown - we will be back! Definitely for our anniversary, if not before then. We can't wait to spend a weekend away in a cute country cabin, indulge in the same amazing food, take a walk around the beautiful lake and reminisce about the day we got married surrounded by everyone we love at the most PERFECT wedding venue.

You absolutely get what you pay for at Memorytown, including the incredible service from the staff, the guidance from Lori and every detail you could think of to make your day so special. Also, the property is beautiful with surrounding trees, a lake and cabins on site for guests to stay in. Our guests were so excited that they could have fun that night and then stay on the same property and not have to worry about driving home. A big part of our day being so perfect was because of Memorytown and the staff. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was and the staff helped the day run so smoothly that I didn’t feel overwhelmed!! We had the most magical day and if you choose Memorytown as your venue you will too!!!

blast. The Bridal Salon and groom Buck's Lounge were the perfect getting ready areas. The food ordered from Memorytown while getting ready was delicious. We had inclement weather all day and I was nervous I wouldn't get to have the outside ceremony I always envisioned, but Lori and her team kept us posted every step of the way and the weather held out just in time for the Ceremony. The Kissing Bridge Ceremony area with its Forest and Lake background was the perfect location. The Vintages Wine Cellar cocktail hour was extremely cozy and the hors d'oeuvres were great. I cannot say enough about the Heritage Barn Reception area. I had guests tell me they teared up when walking in because it was that beautiful. We were even able to have our after party in the Glamping Tents area in the woods. We truly had the best day of our lives thanks to the amazing Memorytown staff and our coordinators, Lori and Curtis. I cannot stop replaying the day in my head. If you are thinking about booking your wedding here, DO IT!

le price! There are so many positives with this venue. Between the excellent food choices (even for people who have dietary needs), the honeymoon suite, onsite rooms for guests to rent for the night, a large library of decorations to help with center pieces, two barns to choose from for the reception, and having the ceremony right infront of a beautiful lake right next to their ‘Kissing Bridge’, you really can’t go wrong here! Our wedding coordinator was so helpful with any questions we had and keeping us on time the entire day! She was constantly checking in with both parties to make sure we were okay throughout the entire day! We can’t wait to go back for our first anniversary next year for a weekend to celebrate!

We had the most perfect fall day, with gorgeous weather and got stunning photos with all the fall foliage. All the staff were super nice and very professional. There was not one singular thing I would change about our day! I cannot recommend enough having your wedding at Memorytown! Also, our rehearsal dinner at their restaurant The Waters Edge was impeccable, with delicious food and amazing service. They also specially made my cousin and nephew an allergy friendly dessert, which we had not even asked them to do. They really go out of their way to make every guest happy! fter brunch all on site. The whole experience was so unique and our guests loved being able to stay in the rooms and cabins on site all weekend. Lori is AMAZING. She went absolutely above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, and it was. The day went smoothly, even though there was rain right before our ceremony! Lori communicated with us the whole time and her and her crew were able to get the ceremony site dried up so we were able to have our wedding outside. From start to finish, Lori was there for every single part of our weekend making sure every detail was perfect. The food was amazing all weekend. Dinners at the reception came out flawlessly. The staff were all attentive and on top of everything. All of our guests couldn’t say enough about how amazing and magical our weekend was. The Heritage barn is beautiful for a reception and the orchard barn was such a cute spot for our other events. Our photographer had so many good photo ops on the property. I seriously wouldn’t change a thing about our entire weekend. I’m still on cloud 9!! Highly recommend memorytown if you are looking for a unique and beautiful barn-style wedding!!
