Meridian Banquets

We got married at Meridian banquets on 6/25/22 and worked with Tina. We LOVED the Meridian and everything went perfectly. From the very beginning, Tina was patient and very explanatory of the entire process. She openly discussed pricing, different package options, and answered every one of ours and our parents questions. She was communicative throughout the planning process of the timeline and what needed to be done and always offered advice when asked. She made the process seem fun and exciting and never a hassle or stressful. Prior to the wedding, we scheduled a tasting that we were able to bring our parents to and they made it so fun and celebratory. The week prior to the wedding, we dropped all of our wedding items off during our final meeting. They had everything set up as asked on the day of and at the end of the night had everything we needed to take home in a box packed up for us. They didn't miss a beat on one thing. Tina was more than excited to have us pop in a few times throughout the planning process to look around the venue again, which we really appreciated! The day of the wedding, everything went exactly as planned. Timing was spot on with no delays and Tina was there in at night as well making sure it all ran smoothly! The food was out of this world and exceptional. We had the athenian chicken and filet options with duchess potatoes and julienned vegetables. We also did the ceasar salad and chicken and rice soup. We loved every bite of both entrees and our guests raved to us about the food. We took a few of the extra entrees home and have been savoring every last bite! They were incredibly accommodating for allergies and special requests. The room looked gorgeous and was a fairytale wedding. We loved the twinkle backdrop and the set up of the GIANT sweets table on display. We were so happy we got the largest room (room A) because of the extra room for seating and larger dance floor. It also provided 2 open bars so there was never a line at the bar! I would recommend the Meridian as a wedding venue to any family or friend. We had a phenomenal experience and are so thankful to the whole team, especially Tina!

We got married at the Meridian this past January and the venue was absolutely beautiful. Our guests still talk about how beautiful our ballroom was, and how good the food was! We worked with Tina throughout the planning process, and she was WONDERFUL! Planning a wedding can be so stressful, but Tina made it so easy. She was so sweet and so flexible. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and we cannot thank everyone at The Meridian enough!

Meridian Banquets more than accommodated our wishes and needs all throughout our wedding planning experience, allowing us to customize and personalize our event to our liking and within the bounds of what was feasible for them. The eventual reception was ornately decorated and elegantly lit, with some truly delicious food that every guest couldn't speak more highly of. Really impressed us in every way!!!

This is truly the last place you want to entrust your big day to... we reached out to this banquet in summer 2019, they seemed to be reasonable and the front desk people were very friendly. So we booked a date in august 2020 for our wedding and paid a deposit. Then the pandemic took over and made it impossible for us to have the celebration we want, so we requested to have our deposit back, but the management refused to return phone calls and only communicated with us by email, refusing adamantly to return any portion of our deposit. Despite the fact that they can’t host the minimum number of guests we agreed on according to state law to maintain social distancing. They were not even able to keep their end of the contract, but they still refused to return money they received for services they couldn’t provide... I have never dealt with a business so unreliable and immoral.

My Husband and I got married in September of 2020, our original wedding date was for June. During the crazy times of the pandemic, Tina and Phil had constant communication open with us through out the whole process. They were really flexible and accommodating to make sure that our wedding day was perfect! Due to Covid restrictions, we were only able to have our wedding ceremony at Meridian Banquets, but next year we look forward to working with Tina and Phil again to plan our reception!

Tina and all of the Meridian staff provide outstanding customer service since day one! They respond to calls and emails in a timely manner. In addition, the food is amazing and the decorations that the venue offers are very elegant. All of our guests were amazed with the service and the entrance of the venue. My husband and I greatly appreciate the service that the Meridian provided to us and we are so happy that we chose this venue. We will for sure be booking this venue for future events.

Tina has been AWESOME to work with at the Meridian! She is knowledgeable, personable, communicative, and goes the extra mile. For example, we were thinking of having the ceiling swag in our banquet room, and Tina, without asking, had a team put up the ceiling swag just so we could see it. We loved working with Tina, and can not say enough about her and the venue!

My husband and I had our reception at Meridian Banquets. We fell in love with the venue after our walkthrough. We loved how fancy the lobby and banquet rooms were and they have an option for wall twinkle lights which was a big hit for us and our guests. Several of our guests including myself are gluten-free and Meridian was able to have the dinner be entirely gluten-free, it was so nice not having to worry! The only thing I wished was that the items at the sweet table could have been adjusted to meet our diet needs because they looked SO good and everyone was talking about them! The food was incredible and the room looked breathtaking! My husband and I were so happy with everything the staff did for us at Meridian! We highly recommend this location to have your reception/event at, they do not disappoint!

If we could give 5+ stars we would!! Thank you to The Meridian—-an elegant, stunning and spacious venue! Our daughter and now son-in-law could not have chosen a better place for their reception. Phil and his staff were remarkable and so attentive from their first meeting through the reception and after; the room was breathtaking; all extras we brought were set up perfectly and tastefully; the food was plentiful and beyond fabulous and all the guests were so impressed! Everyone had a wonderful time and the bride and groom had no worries at all—such a memorable wedding! We would would do it all again.....at the Meridian!!

We got married in the beginning of November! We had the opportunity to work with Phil and he was AMAZING. He was so kind, answered all my questions and made sure that we were very happy on our wedding day. He stayed in our room the entire night making sure everything went as planned. Thank you Meridian especially Phil for making my wedding as memorable as it was.

Everything was fantastic! Phil and all of the staff at Meridian did an outstanding job for our wedding reception. Phil was extremely accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning process to make sure everything turned out exactly how we wanted. We chose Meridian Banquets as our venue for our wedding and we are not disappointed!! From their beautifully decorated foyer with a perfect stage for formal photos to their elegant rooms, Meridian couldn’t have done a better job to host our 215 guests. Everything was just absolutely gorgeous! The bar staff was amazing. The food was super impressive. The room/dessert table was setup perfectly! The staff in general guided me along the way... Every few months I would write 10-15 question emails. The communication was amazing throughout! I highly recommend this banquet hall!!

Everything was absolutely amazing!!! Phil took great care of us to make sure we had everything we wanted. We had so many compliments on how great the wedding was and how much fun everyone had. In addition, the food was awesome, which is a surprise for most weddings. Would book again for another event and recommend to everyone.

I had my wedding reception at the Meridian Banquets on October 6, 2018. I was thrilled how everything turned out! The food was excellent and got so many complements from our guests. The room was set up exactly how I had envisioned it! Their pricing was also very reasonable compared to other banquets halls. My husband and I were extremely happy with how everything turned out and would recommend the Meridian Banquets to anyone getting married or needing a venue!

Yola, Joyce ,Tina, Phil, and everyone at the Meridian made this wedding a huge success. From the tasting , to planning and all thru out the event everyone was very helpful I honestly have nothing bad to say. The venue looked amazing, the food was incredible. The Meridian made for the perfect wedding venue! The team there were so easy to work with, Tina and Phil were so accommodating and patient with me even when I was struggling to make all the little decisions on decorations and I could not be more appreciative of that. The service provided to us was top notch and the food was amazing, all of our guests raved about it. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was how they displayed some of the stuff I brought in like signs and photo booth props and whatnot, but otherwise everything was perfect!

I had the pleasure of having my wedding and reception at the Meridian on 9/30/18 and it was honestly the best decision I could’ve ever made. When I first stepped into the Meridian I knew that we had found our venue. I had the honor of working with Joyce as my event coordinator and she stuck by my side the entire time! She was always available to answer any question that I had and made sure to follow up with a prompt response. The day of my wedding was truly a fairytale each employee at the Meridian made sure to make sure our day was absolutely perfect. 3 months later and our family and friends are still ranting and raving about how good the food and drinks were!!! Having my wedding at the Meridian made the wedding planning process so easy& I wouldn’t have had it any other way! Their wedding packages are sure to include anything that any couple may want and they sure didn’t miss a beat!! Thanks so much to everyone at the Meridian; they will always be near and dear to our hearts!!

The Meridian did a great job starting 10 months out from our wedding date. Joyce, Janet, Tina and Phil were all great and very thorough and accommodating. Our room looked beautiful and the service was outstanding. The only negative thing I can say is that they charge you full price for vendor meals-which I don't think is fair considering the full price includes your appetizers, table wine, open bar, sweet table and any other add-ons you choose. Every other venue we looked at offered vendor meals at a reduced price considering those factors. But everyone loved the food and the staff was great to work with. Cost wise, they are very competitively- priced and they will work with you if you get married in the off-season (which I highly recommend). Overall it was a great experience!

We got married October 19th, 2018 and it was just amazing. Joyce was with us throughout the whole process and made us feel at ease! The room was stunning and everything we could have imagined. To this day, I keep getting compliments on the room and food since it was delicious! I absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone who needs a venue!

The Meridian did an amazing job hosting our wedding in October 2018. We received so many compliments on the decor, food, and service throughout the night. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and can’t wait to recommend them to our friends and family members getting married in the future. Meridian Banquets was our first choice right from the start. I have never felt so welcome at a banquet hall than I did at the Meridian. Everyone at the Meridian treated us like family throughout the entire process. They truly took the vision we had for our wedding and made it a reality. Our day was truly perfect thanks to the Meridian. We were lucky enough to have a first look at the room before any guests came in. I was doubled over in happiness when I first saw it. The Meridian created an absolutely beautiful and romantic scene for our reception. Once guests came in they were seated right away and served the most delicious meal. From the decorations in the room, to the uplighting, to the service, to the bar, to the music, to the food, to the exquisite dessert bar, Meridian Banquets gave us a full five star service. If you are looking for a place to have your special day at, my husband and I would highly recommend them! Thank you for everything!

We are so happy we selected Meridian Banquets as our wedding reception venue for our August 25th 2018 wedding. I had the pleasure of working with Joyce, Tina, Phil & Yola. They are all very professional, sweet, accommodating and prompt in answering any questions. All of them were of tremendous help in the planning process. They were all very flexible with all of my ideas , ensuring that my day was exactly how i pictured it. Everything was decorated so beautifully on the day off! The venue is simply put gorgeous!! They had a promotional package of uplighting which was definitely a very nice addition. The food is delicious,all of our guests were raving about it! The waitstaff was outstanding, so polite and hardworking! There was a wide selection of drinks which everybody enjoyed. Overall a perfect venue for any occasion and such a great value! Loved loved loved! Exceeded expectations in every category! Will host all future family events here and would recommend to everyone!

We got married here on October 20th, we are still hearing amazing compliments on the service, food & look of the venue! Phil made the whole planning process painless! He was always there for us to send an email and ask questions and get back right away. It was absolutely amazing!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could. I was married at The Meridian on 7/7. Yola, Phil and Tina did everything in the realm of possibility to make sure our wedding was perfect. The food was delicious, the service waa above par and the set up was absolutely beautiful. I can't recommend this place enough.

the place was so beautiful. I'm was reasonably priced and got extra discounts for booking on a Friday. it had rained but the main lobby was perfect for taking group pictures. the street was helpful and polite. very accommodating.

My husband and I got married here on 8/03/18 and it was beautiful! The place was clean and it all looked great, the personnel were very attentive and accommodating. The food was amazing, our guests loved it and so did we! All their staff were helpful.

I had my wedding reception at Meridian Banquets on March 17th, 2018. I worked directly with Joyce Murray during my planning process. Joyce was absolutely a delight to work with! She was professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to make sure my wedding day went perfect. The day of the wedding, the staff was so friendly and provided wonderful customer service. Several of my guests were in awe by how beautiful the banquet hall was and how great the food was. Meridian Banquets is an absolute gem! I can’t wait to use them again for future events.

The room was absolutely beautiful and we had an amazing time. My only complaint was the vegan meals. They were not nearly as good as when we had them at the tasting, and the sides were switched with the chicken meal. We were supposed to have the mixed rice but they put it on the chicken plate instead so we got plain rice. The soup was still delicious, and the service was perfect.

We got married October 21, 2017 and had our reception at the Meridian. We were extremely happy with how everything turned out!! I mostly worked with Yola, who was absolutely wonderful to work with. I was a bit indecisive when I was wedding planning. There were so many different accent colors and options to choose from for table linens and uplighting and Yola was so patient and helpful throughout the entire process, spending so much time with me making sure I was happy with everything before the big day. She emailed me about different ideas she has seen from previous wedding receptions or something she saw on Pinterest. On our wedding day, our ballroom was beautifully decorated exactly how we pictured it to be and the staff did all the set up and decorations for us. The sweets table was a big hit with the guests and was so pretty!!! The food was delicious and a very generous portion. Majority of our guests had the chicken marsala with beef sirloin and neither me nor my husband could finish our plates. Nobody left hungry! A few guests had the vegan dinner and they both said they were very impressed with their special ordered dinners. The bar was fully stocked with something for everyone, they even carried Maker's Mark which is not common but so nice, since a lot of our friends drink that. The company they work with for our wedding cake was so easy to deal with and was also delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and and gave excellent service. They have a car port (in case of bad weather) but we were lucky enough to have amazing weather. Some of our more elderly guests loved it, being dropped off and picked up at the front door and not having to walk through the parking lot. Washrooms were kept clean throughout the night. What else can I say? We are so happy we picked the Meridian to have our wedding reception. It was absolutely perfect!!!!! I highly recommend it!

I don't even know where to begin. From the time we started to look at venues, we instantly fell in love with Meridian. They are so wonderful to work with. Yola was the event coordinator we worked with from the beginning and she truly did everything she could for us to have a great experience and helped us work out everything we wanted and still be able to stay in our budget. Every detail was went through at the final meeting the week of the wedding with Tina. She was such a pleasure to work with as well. At Meridian you definitely get deliscious food and service from the beginning to end and the venue and rooms are absolutely stunning. Also, all the servers and staff that worked with us on the day of our wedding reception were so helpful and would go above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied and accommodated. They made our big fat Polish Mexican wedding one that will be remembered by us as well as our guests. So many family and friends keep raving about how amazing everything was. Thank you Meridian for everything! We are forever thankful!

Best and easiest part of wedding planning! Joyce was amazing to work with, and our reception was perfect! The food was delicious, snack table, pizza....so much! The room was gorgeous, and all in all a great price! Everyone loved it, and I strongly recommend it!

Meridian's FOOD and STAFF are more than 5 stars! They are way beyond that! The food is excellent and the servers are accommodating and friendly. Even the planning process was made easier with the team of professional coordinators that answered all my questions and met with me to select colors and the room layout. My wedding day was so special, thanks to the Meridian team!

Just booked this venue for my wedding. I'm so excited to host my reception here in their largest ballroom. The process has been seamless so far and the staff is sooo nice to work with. Their pricing is super reasonable allowing me to spend more $$$ on my decor. Beautiful space!

Meridian hosted my wedding ceremony and reception on 5/12/17. From our very first meeting with Janet in March 2016, we knew that this was our venue. I knew I wanted a place that included many things in their package that would minimize the amount of vendors I had to keep up with. We discussed our budget and they made sure to help us get the most in that budget. For everything we received, we were honestly surprised at how affordable it was. From the moment you walk in and see the fountain you are blown away with how nice the venue is. The rooms are naturally pretty with minimal decor and very spacious. I worked with Janet during the planning process. She met with my husband and I when we decided to move forward and went thru everything with us during that appointment. Janet is amazing and answered all my emails and calls up until the day of the wedding. Every staff member we encountered was polite and helpful. Our wedding was on a Friday. We were able to drop off all of our decor during the final appointment the Tuesday prior. We discussed everything in detail for the day of which was a huge stress relief. During rehearsal we were also able to practice with the sound system. The day of the wedding, the staff was great and made sure everything went perfectly. At least to my knowledge lol. They were amazing with making considerations for my guests with food allergies and checking in with me if they had questions. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! My husband is still talking about the clam chowder lol. The staff packed up extra dinners for us to take with which came in handy following the reception after we got back to the hotel. A plus for us is that we were the only event the night of our wedding. My guests took many pictures by the fountain and photo area without having to wait for guests from another event. I could go on about how great the staff and location was. Take a tour if you are questioning, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Meridian for a perfect night!

Wow! I wouldn't change anything from our wedding day. Everyone at the Meridian made planning easy and stress-free. Being the typical bride, I was freaking out about a week out, Joyce sent me the nicest email letting me know that they had everything covered and all was well. I literally brought a tub of props ( pictures, photo to sign, chocolate bars for seating arrangements, 2 sets of champagne flutes cause we couldn't choose just one, and more) a few days before, and crossed my fingers that everything would be where it was supposed to be on my wedding day, and it was! The food, omg the food, it was amazing! People couldn't stop raving about it. We did the filet and chicken vesuvio- we didn't have any complaints, just tons and tons of compliments. We also had a few people with allergies, and the meridian was so accommodating. We would highly recommend The Meridian, I have absolutely no regrets.

When I first set up a meeting at the Meridian, I didnt realize it was the same place a cousin had his wedding a few years before. When we met with Kate, she was so personable and showed us everything. She was able to answer all of our questions and understood and evalutated any concerns we had. I already knew the food was delicious so after recieving so much amazing customer service right off the bat, we knew we had to hold our reception at the Meridian. They were so helpful with every bit of the planning. I could send them an email and within a day or so had a response. If they didnt know the answer, the would inform me as such but would investigate and get me an answer. They were so great with providing us flexibility when bringing in some extra decorations. I was a total DIY bride but I did use their centerpieces (just added some stuff). On the day of, everything looked great! The food was delicious and the cake was beautiful! They even let my family bring in sweets to add to the sweet table. Price point was great for everything that was included. It was everything we needed from a reception hall! I only took off some points as we had an issue with one member of their staff but Tina had such amazing customer service and took care of everything. She heard all of my concerns and complaints and did the best she could for be the customer. We loved it so much we are actually making their Mothers Day Brunch a yearly event for our family.

Joyce was very helpful and everything we asked and what are budget was she full fill. Food was incredible everyone was very happy. Love the hall we were and servers este very nice and respectful.

If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, look no further! We had our wedding reception at Meridian Banquets on October 22, 2016. The attention to detail was intensive and the results were spectacular. Table settings were precise, elegant; guests were welcomed with tasty hors d’oeuvres served by waiters and waitresses. The five-course meal was spaced out to allow for a casual culinary experience, bartenders cordially served up drinks to match everyone’s tastes. Management allowed us to bring in homemade Polish, Mexican, and Armenian pastries which were displayed on a show-stopping sweet table. Our manager of the night, Kate, tended to our every request during the evening. We worried about nothing! Meridian took care of us like family. For a flawless, elegant reception that will make your guests feel like they matter, definitely consider booking Meridian Banquets for your celebration.

The staff were all awesome! They helped us from the preparations to the big day. They were always on top of things. I'm grateful specially for Joyce and Tina! We had the chance to look at the reception hall before the cocktail hour and we couldn't stop saying "wow" over and over. We were just so amazed at how they were able to bring to life the vision we had for our wedding.

Look through all their Facebook photos and where are the photos with simple decorations? Their banquet facility to us is lacking that much that they have to have their brides and grooms pay out so much on decorations with all this drapery and massive decor to make their facility decent for a wedding? We are on a budget and there is NOT one picture that shows a budget wedding. It is pretty noticeable that they may discriminate on budget-friendly weddings. If they were not they would proudly show pictures of weddings that most couples can afford. Their pictures are so way over the top expensive that it is plain to see you need money to be able to decorate their place in order for it to look fancy and nice. Believe me, we know! Get some pictures of real weddings every day people can afford. And by the way, your so called General Manager, Bill, is a real tool! Hey all, if you look like you don't have money don't bother touring because that tool, Bill, will make you feel less than and that there would be no way you would be able to afford them! We are African Americans and that didn't help either! It seemed to us that they don't like our kind at their facility! No wonder why they wouldn't come down on price! They don't want us to be able to afford there! Discrimination at its finest! Hey owners our money is green just like yours! Bunch of jerks here! Don't bother and don't support a facility that makes you feel less than and may discriminate against African Americans! Test it out, you will see they will not give a discount to our "kind"!- Very upsetting!

We had our dream wedding at the Meridian. Tina, our event coordinator, was the absolute best. From the time we met her until the day of our wedding, she was there to answer our questions and address our concerns. We met with her several times throughout the process because our wedding plans, including the count, changed drastically from the initial meeting we had with her. We were concerned with 3 other wedding going on that day if she would have the staff capacity to handle the changes, but she assured us that it will all work out just fine. And she was completely right. I was floored when the doors opened for the first time and I saw the room set up. It was beyond my expectations. Our guest list was 450+ and service was absolutely flawless. No running out of hors d'oeuvres, no complaints of slow service at the bar, and there were no complaints of the food that I heard of. We decided to offer the choice entree for our guests (I know, crazy), and I was concerned that there would be a mix up along the way, but as far as I was aware, everyone got the meal they requested for. We had the filet, chicken marsala, and the chilean sea bass. Of the three, I highly recommend the chilean sea bass. The have the capacity to host 4 weddings at the same time, but you would never know it. Each room is a separate room - there are no partitions, so you won't hear the wedding next door. Each room has a high ceiling and a a real bar, not a set up one with tables surrounding the bartender. We had minimal decorations, but the place is so beautiful, that you really don't need too much. I have nothing but good praises for the Meridian. If you're planning a wedding, I highly recommend setting up a meeting with the event coordinators. You'll fall in love with the place like I did,

I was brought to tears when I saw how beautiful the hall looked! It absolutely exceeded my expectations! the hall staff was beyond accomendating throughout the entire planning process and made us feel right at home when we had a thousand crazy questions or when we brought in tons of stuff to set up the week of our wedding. they made sure to come and see us personally before our reception started and again at the end of the night.

I really loved the atmosphere of the Meridian but the Representative that did the walk through was very rude. Not a very good first impression.

My husband and I held our wedding ceremony & reception at Meridian on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Before deciding on using this wedding venue, we went and visited several other banquet halls and hotels in our area. As soon as we had our meeting with Joyce at Meridian, we knew we had found the right place for our wedding because it fit all of our criteria. It actually worked our great because this venue is right down the street from us too. Joyce was very helpful and accommodating. She was able to put together a discounted package for us with a minimum of 80 guests. We did not want to have a large wedding and a lot of other places wanted a minimum of 100 guests. The other thing that really grabbed us was how beautiful the lobby and rooms were - lobby has high ceilings, a fountain in the middle and multiple photo-opportunity spots for wedding photos (white couch with a backdrop, etc). Another reason why we knew we liked this place is because all of their rooms are separate rooms. Other venues would offer to split up a large room with a divider but by doing that, the room would not be soundproof (in the event that another wedding was taking place next door). Meridian used to be a movie theater so each room is its own and is soundproof. Our ceremony and reception were held in two separate rooms down the hall from one another. We chose the 2014 Meridian Wedding Package which included: 6 hour event - a four course meal (choice of soup, salad, entrée, vegetable, potato, and wedding cake), bread & coffee, 4 hours of open bar with premium liquor, wine service during dinner, choice of colored napkins, a centerpiece consisting of a round mirror, 3 candles, and fresh roses, champagne for the head table, and a private bridal suite (with champagne and an assorted cheese tray). *Side note: Tina and Joyce made sure to give me the large bridal suite that was right outside of our reception room so that was very convenient! We also added a sweet table and reception room uplighting to our package. We were going to add hors d'oeuvres but decided against it due to our budget. But it wasn't a big deal - guests still snacked on the sweet table and visited the bar during cocktail hour. Throughout my communication with Joyce and the rest of the staff, I always felt taken care of. Joyce had great ideas for things that I had trouble deciding on. She guaranteed me that our wedding would be memorable and beautiful. And it was. I did have a minor issue with scheduling a wedding rehearsal but it was quickly resolved. I had wanted to schedule it much farther in advance than was permissible. Our ceremony and reception rooms were set up exactly how I wanted them to be. At my last meeting at Meridian, I met with Tina and went over all of my items to be placed in the reception room. The staff did an excellent job on assembling the rooms. I was amazed at how beautiful everything really was and at how it came together. Months and months of planning had paid off. Every little detail was perfect. Nothing was out of place. The one thing that our guests have been complimenting us on is the food at Meridian. At our tasting, we were able to sample 3 items from each part of the dinner and decide what we liked best. Our main entrée was the Chicken Francaise. Overall, I would definitely recommend this venue - especially if you are on a budget! If I could do this all over again, I would still have my wedding here. 5 stars.

Our reception was everything we dreamed it would be, down to the last detail! Our guests were raving about the space all night, and for many months after. Staff was very attentive and made sure everything was exactly what we wanted. Food was delicious, and there was another wedding across the hall that we didn't even notice! Staff was willing to work with us and open to working with our budget. Five stars!

I have had a great experience working with the folks at the Meridian for my wedding September 2014. They were incredibly accommodating, food was wonderful, drinks were great and the space was large. We had a great time and I have been getting nothing but compliments on how much fun and how great the food was! Great job Meridian!

My fiancé and I went to this facility for a tour and it was very disappointing. I am shocked at all of the 5 star reviews because those 5 star reviews must have low standards and actually want to pay more for what they get. The lobby is huge and has a cold feeling to it. The furniture is from the 1980's and it looked like they got the furniture from a garage sale. The sales office staff is not very friendly and was quick about the details of their venue. We felt we were interrupting them because we didn't have an appointment. We were in the area and thought we would just stop by. Do not go their without an appointment, they will be very short with you. FYI - They just raised their prices! It seems as though they are always raising their prices cause I heard from a friend of mine they just did and now they raised them again! If they offer you a percentage off don't feel so honored, remember they raised their prices again on us consumers and they think they are doing us a favor by giving us a slight discount? NO! They are not giving us any discount cause what have they changed to warrant an increase in price! In reality, it is not a discount. Don't bother asking them to include upgrades in their packages! They make you feel cheap. They didn't seem like they wanted to work within our budget! All the pictures you see online of the ballrooms are all weddings that have spent $1,000.00 upon $1000.00 of dollars adding beautiful decor and food upgrades. Don't be fooled. What about the weddings that are not bringing in an outside vendor for decor or do not want food upgrades? All we get are clouds on the ceiling! lol Tacky to say the least. I asked if they owned their chavari chairs or uplighting and the sales girl said it is really none of our business and that it didn't matter we will still be charged for renting them! I thought maybe we would at least get some decor off or included. No chance! We moved on to another location which is a lot closer to where our church is. Rolling Meadows is way too far! There are so many other beautiful venues that actually are willing to work within your budget. Don't they know that the public is not stupid! If you raise your prices and then offer a percentage off that really is not a discount for us consumers! Move on, we did and are very happy with the venue we signed with! There attitudes in the sales office turned me off and I would not let them plan a dog birthday party let alone my wedding. We didn't want to get ripped off!

We had the best experience ever here! The staff were beyond helpful from start to finish. The planning was easy. Janey took all the stress of organizing our room off my hands. When our big day came, the room was everything we ever dreamed of and more. Classic romance from Beauty and the Beast with a hint of country and it was all tied in beautifully!

The staff is very helpful and accommodating to your needs. The bakery they use for the cake definitely needs to learn customer service skills and had our cake all wrong. I suggest many follow up calls to ensure they understand your order. Great food!

On August 24, 2013, I had my dream wedding at Meridian Banquets. If I could give Meridian Banquets a thousand stars, I would!! I can probably write a book on how amazing and wonderful Meridian Banquets is! My husband and I walked into the venue and we absolutely loved the layout, the beautiful high ceilings and the pleasant scent of flowers. A few moments later when we met Tina and her amazing mother, we knew this was the place we wanted to have our wedding. This is a true family business and my husband and I, as well as my parents, felt like we were part of the family. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding our primary point of contact was Tina, however, the other ladies there, Joyce and Janet, assisted me on different occasions and they also did a great job. I have to admit, I was a difficult bride. I was very particular about every small detail. Tina patiently spent hours with me, going through every detail, and on my wedding day everything exceeded my expectations! Meridian Banquets went over and above their duties to make sure that I have my dream wedding. For example, I was torn between a few different linen colors and Tina ordered samples of each color and set up tables so that I can decide which color I liked best. Another example of how accommodating they are, I wanted to slightly change the cream of chicken soup by adding some diced carrots and rice and garnishing it with parsley. Tina talked to the Chef and my request was easily fulfilled. I wanted the appetizers to be served on the table (replenishable), instead of butler style and, for a very small fee, this request was again easily fulfilled. I wanted the chicken to be served family style, so that the sauce from the chicken does not mix with the au jus from the New York strip steak, and again Meridian was happy to accommodate my request. I brought in my own late night snack, and Meridian provided the heat lamps and plates, at no additional cost! The night before our wedding we came to Meridian to drop off some items. When I walked into the room it was so beautiful and perfect, I started crying. Tina’s mom, Vicky, set up the most amazing pool for our sweet table. It is a square table, filled with some water, making it look like a pool. Our ice sculpture, along with flowers and floating candles were placed in the middle of this pool, and our sweet table was on both sides of this. It is absolutely amazing and a must for any wedding, it is absolutely unique and breathtaking. I received so many compliments on it! Overall, my husband and I are so happy that we booked our wedding with Meridian and highly recommend it! The food was amazing (the steaks melted in your mouth, and that is not easy to achieve with 400 steaks), the bar had all of the items which I had specifically requested (like Ciroc vodka, Courvoisier, etc), the bartenders and the wait staff were very friendly and accommodating (for example, I had a couple who showed up as we were eating dinner, and before I had the opportunity to please ask their waiter to also bring them the soup, the soup was out on the table!), the sweet table (personally set up by Tina’s mom) was so beautiful, and the décor, absolutely perfect, just the way I envisioned it. Words can not express my gratitude for everything that Tina, her mom and the entire Meridian staff did. It was such a pleasure working with them and I am so thankful to them for making my dreams come true! I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding!

Love the venue, it's very beautiful. The food was great. I received so many compliments from my guests on how great it was. The wedding planner was so friendly and helpful before the wedding; however on the day of it took 45 min to find anyone to help us when we arrived and it was so upsetting!
