Emma and Rebecca helped us create the most incredible wedding, and we are forever grateful for what they did to bring our day together! Both of us work busy jobs and have hobbies after work that keep us running around without much down time- and when we began to plan our wedding, we knew there was no way we'd be able to do it alone. From the beginning, one of the best gifts we could have asked for was the list of all of Meriwether Social's preferred vendors in our area. We would never have known where to start without them, and their recommendations brought together our dream DJ, photographer, florist, cake, and more! All throughout the process, MS was always there for us for check-ins, reminders, and answers to those late night questions that started to accumulate as we got closer to the day. They always made sure we were comfortable, and let us be as involved- or uninvolved- in each aspect as we desired, which was so extremely helpful for those pieces we wanted to weigh in on versus those that we put our full trust in them- which NEVER failed! We recommend the full service planning to anyone who needs lots of direction, and is too busy to fully plan themselves but wants to make sure their wedding will be memorable for them and enjoyable for all their guests. Meriwether Social - Rebecca and Emma were absolutely amazing! They handled our son and his bride’s wedding rehearsal and day off perfectly. Whatever hiccups may have went on in the background we and our guests would have had no idea! The evening was amazing to every last detail the couple envisioned. The icing on the cake…. They set everything up, took down and packed everything into our vehicles and ever found a wonderful driver/assistant to help our 94 year young grandmother home. Just angels! Thank you so much!

Where do i even begin? Meriwether Social was an absolute dream to work with…they felt like our own personal wedding fairy godmothers. We interviewed another planning company but went with MWS thanks to their creativity and kindness and wow, we were not disappointed! Throughout the planning process they were flexible, patient and organized. They gently kept us on track and on time and helped us create a top notch vendor team that executed our wedding flawlessly. They were creative and helped bring our unique vision to life. They were also understanding and non-judgmental about the things we didn’t want to spend money on and helped us maximize our budget with creative solutions. In Spring 2022, we hired Meriwether Social to help plan our daughter’s May 2023 wedding in Ann Arbor. Reflecting on the past year, I can’t imagine the process without Emma and Becky. The day itself was beautiful, and my husband and I fully embraced the joy of the ceremony and reception with our family and friends (and new in-laws!), knowing MWS had everything covered. Throughout the past year, they advised on vendors, invitations, seating charts, timing, flowers, food, parking, and transportation. Emma is exceptionally organized and kept us on track with what needed to be done when. MWS's ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception designs – which started with in inspiration board – were stunning and reflected exactly what my daughter and now SIL(!) wanted for their celebration. They were also mindful of our budget, suggesting ways to appropriately minimize cost. Their ‘go-to’ vendor team for flowers, photography, and makeup were a joy to work with, especially on the wedding day. At the reception, MWS helped us all keep to the wedding timeline, insuring speeches, hellos, and dancing happened when they should. I didn’t have to worry about it at all! Have I mentioned that Emma and Becky are really fun to work with? Thank you MWS for making the day so special for all of us.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Meriwether team! Emma and Rebecca brought my brother's wedding day dreams to life. They are, without a doubt, miracle workers! They were able to plan a beautiful Indian wedding weekend in only 2 months and I am still not sure how they did it. The wedding weekend was perfectly planned and it will be a moment in our lives that we will remember always! My family and I greatly appreciated their patience in answering all questions as well as their creativity in putting ideas into motion. We are all truly blown away at their passion for this work. Emma and Rebecca were so wonderful to work with! We hired them as Day of Coordinators, but they actually reached out and started helping over a month out before the wedding. I can not imagine my wedding day without them. They coordinated all of the vendors, setup all of my decor, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. If issues or problems arose, I was completely unaware as they handled everything and just made sure my husband and I had a great day. The setup and decor turned out exactly as I envisioned and everything was just so wonderful. Emma and Rebecca and the rest of their team are incredibly kind people, super responsive, and I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I are SO incredibly grateful for Meriwether Social! I’m from Ann Arbor but was planning our wedding from Virginia so I knew I needed all the help I could get. Emma and Rebecca went above and beyond from our very first interaction. I contacted so many wedding planners, but Meriwether was the only one to get back to me quickly, and they made me feel like I was the only bride they were working with from the start, even though they have a ton of clients. I can’t tell you how many times throughout the months of planning that I said “I have no idea what I would do without Emma and Rebecca!” They were there every single step of the way, and I knew I could be as “picky” as I wanted to be about all the zillions of the decisions leading up to the big day, and they would be there to help me sort through options, provide expert guidance, and talk me through things when I was getting stressed. I was always so impressed with how accessible they were, and never felt there was a question too big or too small to ask them. Emma and Rebecca are so warm, personable, knowledgeable and down to earth. They will help you clarify your Vision for your wedding and then bring it to life in ways that you never would have thought of on your own. And that’s all *before* the day of! Thanks to them we were able to soak up every moment of our wedding day, knowing they had everything completely dialed in and under control. If you’re a busy bride, and especially if you live out of town, I can’t recommend their full service package enough - it will be the best investment you make in not just your wedding day but the whole process leading up to it.

If you are looking to hire a wedding planner, stop looking and hire Meriwether. My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Emma and Rebecca guiding us through the process as we planned a large wedding from completely out of town without ever having to make a physical trip to Ann Arbor (where the wedding was) for just the purposes of the wedding. We hired Meriwether after having already booked the venue, band, as well as a few other vendors so we only signed up for their partial planning option as we mainly needed their help organizing an itinerary, making sure that things ran smoothly the day of, and signing up a few vendors of less critical items. Despite not signing up for the full level of service, we never seemed to know the difference. They were always available to provide guidance and advice either via email or on a quick phone call and they were willing to jump in and negotiate and work with vendors who were slower to respond. All of this was in addition to the regular touchpoints we had and the general reminders to make sure that we were following our planning schedule which they provided. Beginning ~2 months out from the wedding itself, Meriwether became even more involved as they organized a detailed schedule complete with addresses, names, and phone numbers making sure that everyone was where they needed to be on the day of the wedding. As a very detailed-oriented person it was incredibly helpful knowing that we had a planner more organized than we were. On the day of the wedding, Meriwether and their team were extremely helpful shepherding us through the day from getting ready, to photos, to the ceremony and then the reception. They were at the country club the whole day making sure that the tent for our ceremony and the ballroom for the reception were completely set up. There was not a single hiccup or slight detail that my wife and I would have changed. As we were preparing for our wedding, people would tell us ‘just relax, something will inevitably go wrong but don’t let it bother you, the day will be wonderful’. Well the day was wonderful, but nothing went wrong thanks to Meriwether. It was truly an incredible experience in no small part due to their effort!

We are so glad we worked with Emma and Becky for our wedding. We got in touch with them about 9 months before the wedding date and knew immediately after our intro call with them that we wanted to work with them. They are professional yet easy going. They guide you toward the “right” decision, but also understand your tastes and are totally comfortable doing anything non-traditional. They are extremely responsive, which can’t be taken for granted when it comes to wedding planning. Ultimately, they vastly streamlined our entire planning process. To the point that we basically had no stress related to planning the week leading up to the wedding day. Things are never going to go perfect day of, but Emma and Becky were on top of everything, down to making a last minute call to change the shuttle route for an impromptu after party. We couldn’t think of better people to be in your corner for your special day.

If I could give 10 stars I would! From the start, Emma and Rebecca were great-very professional and kind! We used them for day of coordination services and man did they bring their A game! My husband and I had a ton of stuff for our wedding and I had a vision and they made it happen. They were on top of everything from start to finish and I give them 100% of the credit for making the day run as smoothly as it did. I could honestly not thank them enough! You have found the powerhouse wedding planners that every couple dreams about - look no further and shoot up a prayer that they’re available. Emma and Rebecca, the dynamic duo behind Meriwether Social, made our big day everything we could have hoped for. But, more importantly, they made the process everything I could have hoped for as a detail-oriented bride planning things from out of town. We knew that planning a wedding in another state — and in 8 short months, no less — would have its challenges. But they saw us through every phase in the most efficient manner and in a communication style that we very much appreciated. They could always figure out a way to “get to yes,” and they commanded details so that we could say something once and know it would be handled correctly and without a follow-up. Emma and Rebecca have a unique combination of an open and easy spirit, a mastery of the business and a sense of creativity and fresh design. My husband and I loved brainstorming with them and having the security that they would execute our vision with class and elegance. We very much felt that they had our back at every turn and were impressed by their sense of firmness but kindness with contacts in any potentially challenging situations. Emma became as much a friend in these moments as a relied-upon counterpart; and from one professional woman to another - I cannot say enough how much I respect her. She is calm under pressure, seemingly unflappable and infectiously joyous. This is the kind of positivity and professionally you will love as you plan your big day!

It is impossible to write a review that truly describes how amazing Emma and Rebecca are! From kindness, to professionalism, to talent, they are everything you could ask for and more in an event planner! Their creative vision and communication is unmatched. They took the vague design ideas I had and turned them into the most beautiful, once in lifetime engagement party! Leading up to the party, I had absolutely no concerns or stress because I knew everything was in their capable hands. I couldn't have asked for a more special way to celebrate our engagement and it was all thanks to Emma and Rebecca.

We have so many good things to say about Meriwether Social - more than we can really fit into this review - but the gist of it is: book them. You won't regret it! Emma and Rebecca are savvy, competent, and fun. We booked the Day-Of Coordinator service, but it was so much more than just the day-of. We Zoomed with them several times before the wedding whenever we weren't sure what we were doing (which was often). They helped us stay sane while planning a wedding during COVID! Right before the wedding, they coordinated with all our vendors to get everyone on the same page. Then, on the day, the Meriwether team seemed to be everywhere at once, making sure we were on schedule and everything was running smoothly. I really don't know what we would have done without them.

I truly cannot say enough about what an amazing job Emma and Rebecca did for us. They worked with us through a postponement and got us started again when our new date loomed. They completely understood the mood and atmosphere we were going for and worked very hard to make this process as stress-free as planning a wedding can be. It was so nice to be able to reach out to them with big or little questions and to have them communicate with vendors on our behalf. They did an incredible job executing our vision for the venue, making adjustments where they saw fit, and working with all of our vendors to make sure that on our wedding day the only thing we had to worry about was ourselves. When we did have an issue come up with a vendor on the actual day, I immediately was able to pass it off to them and know it would get taken care of. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, we could not have had as amazing a night as we did without them!

Emma and Rebecca did a tremendous job helping us plan our wedding in Michigan from another state. They hit the ground running immediately and they helped us get all of our vendors selected, even attending a tasting for us when we couldn't make it. They were responsive to our needs and quickly pivoted when we decided to go in different directions and they even helped manage two highly motivated moms. But where Emma and Rebecca really earn their money is the week leading up to the wedding and the day of. We entered our wedding week not having to worry about a thing because they were on it. Our wedding day was beautiful and went off without a hitch because of the planning and management by Emma and Rebecca. We were two unconventional brides who didn't really know what we wanted when we started the wedding planning process. Emma and Rebecca managed to combine our different tastes and planned a backyard wedding that was beautiful and elegant.

We were thrilled to have Meriwether "on the ground" in MI for our daughter's lovely wedding in April. Emma and Rebecca were hugely helpful in arranging all of the moving parts, especially as the wedding was at a private home and involved finding a caterer, tent, heaters, etc. At the wedding, Meriwether did deft troubleshooting when the weather acted up, and ensured that things ran as smoothly as possible. Emma and Rebecca were a pleasure to work with, i.e. highly responsive, organized, adaptable, polished without being pretentious, and delightful.

I highly recommend Meriwether Social as planners for your wedding. Emma and Rebecca were professional, helpful and creative. And they are lovely ladies too.

Emma & Rebecca are THE BEST. We hired them for full-service planning, and they went above and beyond to create what can only be described as our perfect wedding. A mother/daughter team of superheroes, Emma & Rebecca killed it at every stage from conception to day-of coordination. They are professional, empathetic, flexible, observant, and experienced – all at a reasonable price. Here are few out of our numerous experiences that best personify this… Up front, we spoke to them about our vision, sharing our constraints, desires, and pinterest boards to come up with a conception of what we wanted. E&R dreamed up a wedding for us that matched exactly our vision with enthusiasm. E&R then replanned the entire wedding in 5 months. Originally planned for June in Detroit, we found out the father-of-the-grooms’ cancer meant he could only attend a wedding in February. Without question, they pivoted to a February wedding in Charleston, advising the need for a warmer climate to support an outdoor COVID wedding. All without significant incremental costs to our bill. Despite not having destination experience in Charleston, E&R quickly built a vendor dream-team. They managed the diverse group through respectful dialogue, industry experience, and meticulous organization. Several vendors shared compliments about E&R directly to us. Beyond the event details, E&R were emotional support. Always a text or email away, they were happy to answer questions, take on a minor task, or be a shoulder to cry on. They perfectly metered information to us; we felt involved in the decisions that mattered but not overwhelmed. E&R were day-of bulldogs. They kept us on time, kept guests in line, and read the room. When speeches were starting to run over, Emma realized it and helped make game-time edits so guests stayed engaged & happy. Additionally, when the DJ needed to create a 30 second pause in music before the speeches started because of the placement of the booth, Emma stepped into the booth to adjust sound levels so audio transition was flawless. They knew how to create a superior experience. We are so thankful we went with Emma & Rebecca. We can’t recommend them enough to other couples.

Six weeks before our wedding date our initial wedding coordinator essentially disappeared. My wife and I were at a loss and very little of our wedding was planned. We reached out to a close friend who recently had a wedding, and she highly recommended Emma and her team. Luckily Emma had our wedding day free. I will start by saying Emma is a true life saver. Emma was kind and empathetic about our prior wedding coordinator disappointment. She reassured us that her team would make sure all our expectations were met for our special day. Emma is outstanding with quickly responding to emails and texts. She seamlessly arranged our vendors with short notice. Emma was always a step ahead of us with planning the nuances of our wedding. We had a small intimate wedding and all of our family complimented Emma’s team with their organization and making sure everyone felt welcome. Emma and her team went over the top including heating a pie in the oven for dessert, adding extra décor and lighting to our outdoor tent and videotaping our wedding vows. After our wedding Emma gave us the most unexpected memorable gift. She videotaped with her cell phone key parts of our wedding day. We were so surprised to receive a video of our wedding she took time to make after our wedding day. I highly recommend Emma and her team, and I can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond for a day we will never forget.

I can’t thank these ladies enough for how amazing they were! I did the day of package because we changed our venue to a friends barn due to Covid restrictions. When we changed from our original venue to an open venue with no help, I knew I needed coordinators. I am so lucky and so happy to have found Meriwether Social. These ladies freaking ROCKED it! They helped make the day so perfect and took all the stress away from me! We got married in the church I grew up in and had the reception at a barn. So, day of, I was not able to be at the barn to finalize everything. I gave them a list and they KILLED it! Also, everything timing wise went PERFECTLY thanks to these amazing ladies. Really I can’t say enough to tell you how wonderful they all are. You will not be disappointed if you hire them. And let me tell you, if you’re already looking to use them, DO IT!! Meriwether Social made our wedding day amazing! We did not have to stress about anything on the day of. Best decision to have them be our day of planners! They executed our vision and more. I would give them at 10 out of 5 stars if I could!

We could NOT have asked for a better dynamic duo to help guide us on our special day. They made our day and days leading up to it so incredibly carefree. They are masters of this industry. I cannot say enough good things about Emma, Rebecca, and their team. When we postponed our pandemic wedding, they were quick to offer support and suggestions for postponement announcements. They were always supportive and personable. On our wedding day, Emma handled all of the details with ease. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our special day knowing Meriwether Social had it all under control. Emma has a take-charge drive which was perfect when it came to wrangling our large extended family for pictures.

How do you give a 100/5 rating? Choosing the Meriwether Social team was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. This absolutely indominable team handled every single thing with grace, poise, and confidence. Hiring them in late 2019, we could never have imagined the COVID-induced turbulence that would come through our wedding planning process (three? venues, countless guest-count iterations, regulation changes, tent options, the list goes on and on). But with every change, and turn, these two made sure we were sure our day would be perfect. And it was! Every detail went off without a hitch, and it was absolutely the day of my dreams. Prior to COVID, my husband Brandon and I had planned our wedding reception at an indoor venue. We started looking into wedding coordination services in January 2021 once we realized we may need to make changes to our wedding on 6/5/2021 based on COVID restrictions. After our first meeting with Emma and Rebecca, we knew we were in great hands! They were so friendly and on top of details we hadn't even thought about. It was so nice having an experienced team to be in frequent contact with, to get advice from, and to take care of the not so fun parts of wedding planning. Moving our wedding reception to my in laws' backyard seemed like a challenge, but Emma and Rebecca made it easy and provided an amazing set up that we were more than happy with! Prior to the wedding day, they helped coordinate our vendors and provided helpful documents and detailed timelines to ensure that our wedding day ran smoothly. They were in constant communication with our other vendors and helped with last minute additions to our catering menu. At our rehearsal, Emma and Rebecca provided reassurance that our wedding day would be beautiful and all details would be taken care of. On our wedding day, I didn't worry about anything because I knew Emma and Rebecca would truly make it the best day. They were there at set up, for all of our deliveries and at our ceremony. When we arrived at our reception, the reception venue looked even more beautiful than I could have imagined! They even provided me with a drink when I arrived! Working with Meriwether Social was the best decision we made during wedding planning and we truly could not have had such an amazing, stress free wedding without their help! Our son and now daughter-in-law were married this past weekend, 6/5/21. The wedding and weekend were beyond what I could ever have imagined it could be! Emma and Rebecca took care of everything from handing all of the vendors, complete setup and were with us the entire weekend to ensure everything was perfect and it truly was perfect! All of our guests raved about how beautiful everything was and how organized it was. From the very start they were there for all of our phone calls, texts (day and night) and any questions we had for ourselves and the vendors! They were there from the very beginning to the church rehearsal, wedding day and reception, always making us feel so comfortable in knowing all would be wonderful and the best and, it was!! Rebecca and Emma did a fantastic job for us on our wedding day. We had several last minute changes to our wedding and they were so flexible with all of the changes. They helped our wedding run so smoothly and took care of all of the details/errands we asked from them. I did not have to worry at all on my wedding day and otherwise would have been worrying about all of the little details that needed to happen. They allowed me to truly enjoy my wedding day and to be in the moment!

Emma and Rebecca from Meriwether Social made my sister's wedding day absolutely perfect! From the first day I met them to the wedding day they immediately made us feel like family...like we had known them for years. That first impression was so impactful and assured us that we had chosen the perfect people to coordinate this special day. Despite 2020 being full of challenges every step of the wedding planning process was seamless and made easy thanks to the attentiveness of Emma and Rebecca. Any issues, concerns or requests was responded to and addressed promptly which helped ease my sister's stress/worry. On the wedding day Emma and Rebecca coordinated multiple vendors, the caterer, florist and photographer while still making sure my sister and brother-in-law were enjoying their wedding day to the fullest. When I saw the ceremony and reception space for the first time I was speechless, everything was absolutely perfect! We are so happy we had Emma as our day of coordinator! She was super sweet and so helpful and attentive the entire day of our rehearsal and wedding. We weren't sure we needed a day of coordinator, but we decided it would help take some worry off our shoulders and it turned into the best decision! Emma helped keep things so organized and was there for us the entire day for anything we needed at all. Just the little things she provided like keeping me updated on the weather forecast for the ceremony to calm me down that it wasn't going to rain or helping hold our drinks between pictures made such a difference. Emma goes above & beyond your wildest wedding coordinator dreams! She is amazingly talented & makes your big day stress free! She took care of all our decor, & coordinated the timeline with all of our vendors. She makes sure everyone is where they need to be & has every detail covered. Emma and Meriwether social did such an amazing job to make our day stress free. We didn't know exactly what to expect with a day of wedding coordinator, but she far surpassed our expectations. She did a great job at the rehearsal to give us all the timeline details, so we could be ready for what was in store on the big day. When we arrived to the venue on wedding day the decor was setup just as we envisioned, not a detail missed. I had SO many worries and stressors as my big day was approaching, as soon as I met with Emma on the night of my rehearsal dinner I knew I had nothing else to worry about. She took care of absolutely everything. My venue was set up by her perfectly, it was prettier than I even could have imagined. The day of the wedding went so smooth and it would not have went as well as it did without Emma being there to keep everything on time and on schedule. Emma acted as our day of reception coordinator (we had a separate ceremony venue) for our wedding in July. As soon as we arrived, she made sure we knew she was there and ready to help.
