In 2008, I joined the Mermaid team as one of the lead officiants and was thrilled to work on the beach. The magic of the ocean, sand, winds, and palm trees set the stage for a perfect happily ever after. Managing the team gives me the availability to find photographers, officiants, and team members who enjoy what we do as much as I do. We share the idea that this is a special moment, and our goal is to make our couples' dreams come true. Romance is our specialty.

erent types of weddings). We live in Iowa and had no idea where to start, so we used Googled and typed in beach weddings in Lauderdale by the Sea. We found Mermaid Beach Weddings - when we clicked on the link it was pure magic of what we found. The venue, minister (who we chose) the photograph and even the music was all included in the price! We were overjoyed. We asked my parents for help since they live there and they were absolutely impressed! The owner was efficient and had everything spelled out and it matched what we found on the website. We never met the owner until our wedding day - everything came together beautifully and I gave her a huge hug for everything they did for us. The minister they used was pure perfection and we felt like he knew us for years - we never met him either until that day. The photographer took amazing photos and we are pleased with the selection and number of photos he took! I felt like I was given my fairy tale wedding that I always dreamed of. Beautiful set up on the beach for 40 guests. Communication back and forth was very quick and accommodated to all of my requests. Turned out even more beautiful than I had imagined....
Pictures came out amazing, loved the photographer. He was very personable and a joy to work with. We loved everything about it! bride and bridesmaid bouquet were also beautiful, better than we could have ever expected! Patty made the night go smooth and helped calm my nerves and put me at ease that everything was perfect. highly recommend!

ctober 2020 and chose to meet with the company while in town. I was in communication with Patty. She was very quick with responses and precise with information. We met on a Thursday, she shared with us all of the packages available. Like two crazy people my fiancé and I decided to land on getting married in December, barely two months later! Patty assured us we could have our date, 12/30. She gave us a few days to make sure this was exactly what we wanted. We managed to book everything and Patty did exactly what she said she would. She gave us a beautiful beach ceremony, despite crazy weather. She was amazing, and completely understanding when my parents showed up to the wrong beach. She kept me calm when I was losing it and was a complete angel thru thee entire process. I would recommend them to any and everyone looking to save a few bucks and still interested in an unforgettable experience. Patty knows her stuff and her team is everything you’d want for your special day!
