We did Merrily Wed’s month of planning package and couldn’t recommend it enough! Most month of packages at with other wedding planners included very limited planning help before the month of, but Merrily was on hand to answer any questions we had before she officially stepped in and provided us with her full planning checklist and portal that we could use throughout our planning process. Once we were about a month out, we set up a planning meeting to go over all the details. She was super responsive to all our emails and really great to work with. On the wedding day, there were a few hitches, but she did a wonderful job at handling everything and making sure the day ran smoothly. She carried out our vision to make sure it was all we envisioned and more. We had an amazing time and our guests said that this was the best wedding they had been to. Our day was so special, and we highly recommend Merrily Wed!

Merrily is simply the best, and worth every penny spent for her expert services as a wedding planner, especially in the Lake Tahoe Basin. As the lead of our team of vendors, she contacted, organized, and coordinated all of the moving parts to produce a seamless event while dealing with Covid19 protocol AND a looming Caldor firestorm. Her guidance and advice about the silliest of details during the planning process was invaluable. Her vast experience with Tahoe venues and local vendors made for easy decisions when trying to balance desires with budgets. The day of my son's wedding was a hectic one. The Caldor smoke rolled in while we were setting up and things needed to be adjusted. She handled the last minute changes and communicated brilliantly with everyone alleviating the stress and calming our nerves. She made it easy for the bride, groom, and parents to relax and enjoy our day together without any worries. FIVE STARS!

Where to even start! Saying Merrily is great doesn't do her justice, she is simply amazing. We can't imagine what our lives would have looked like without her. After a number of wedding planner intro calls that made us feel like what we wanted in our budget wasn't possible or that we weren't worth the time, we found Merrily and everything changed. From the very first intro call to the week before the wedding to during the wedding and after Merrily made us feel at home, and that we were number one and only priority. She worked with us through everything: finding a venue, booking vendors, creating a website, COVID, the lake Tahoe fires, bridal party shake-ups and all of the daily in-between. We feel forever indebted to her for making our dream wedding possible. We cannot recommend Merrily enough, she is a true angel and was an absolute joy to work with. A true 10/10!

My husband and I are so grateful we chose to work with Merrily for the wedding planning process. Coming from out of state, we could not imagine having done this without her. She helped us transform the blank canvas of a lake front park into a luxury wedding venue and we were so happy with how it turned out! Planning a wedding during the pandemic was far from easy, and sadly, while we held out as long as we could, things just didn't improve in time and given our unique situation, we ended up needing to cancel it. But among all that stress, working with Merrily was a source of calm. She was so organized, and she had so many great ideas for how we could make it all work in these uniquely complex circumstances. Most importantly, every vendor we reached out to along the way was so happy when we told them Merrily was our planner. That meant the most to us, that she has such a good reputation in the Lake Tahoe area, and feeling confident that all of our vendors would work really well together with her. So even though we didn't quite make it to the big day, I still feel compelled to leave a review for the positive experience we had in the planning phases. From all we worked on with her, I know it would've been a seamless, stress-free, and beautiful event.

In the midst of coronavirus lockdowns and closures, we have Merrily to thank for giving us our dream Tahoe wedding. In only a few short weeks, she was able to recommend and connect us with all our wonderful vendors, never missing a step as our plans had to be repeatedly modified as regulations were changing on a weekly basis. She maintained daily contact with us, was always easy to get ahold of, and ultimately orchestrated our perfect day. We will be forever grateful and will definitely recommend to any friends considering a wedding in the area.

Working with Merrily was so wonderful! She helped us to plan our dream wedding in Lake Tahoe this summer. Over the course of about 10 months, Merrily helped us to envision and execute a perfect day. My husband and I both have pretty time-consuming jobs in NYC and working with Merrily made the cross-country wedding planning process relatively stress-free. We regularly communicated via email and met twice in person– an initial meeting about 10 months out and then a big planning meeting 2 months before the big day (it would have been earlier in the process, but we were snowed out of Tahoe!). We immediately clicked with Merrily and are so glad that she guided us through the entire planning experience and not to mention, our wedding day! When Merrily asked us about our vision, I shared a picture of a specific wildflower bouquet that I’d been dreaming about. She immediately understood what I was looking to create and this picture became the guiding light for our wedding. After understanding our desire, she recommended local vendors that would best bring that vision to life. She kept us on top of everything, always reminding us when and what we needed to do to coordinate with vendors, select décor and create a plan to keep our wedding day running smoothly. During the wedding, Merrily took care of everything and made the day absolutely stress-free for me and my husband. I’m sure things went wrong, but Merrily didn’t let on to any of it and I am so thankful because we were able to be super present and focus on the magic of what was happening. Our wedding was absolutely breathtaking and perfect – all thanks to Merrily and the teams that brought our dream to life!

Merrily truly is the best there is! From start to finish, she was consistent, professional, timely, and not afraid to give her opinion without pressing. All of the meetings and correspondence we had throughout the planning process was informative and helpful and truly guided us along the way. My husband and I both work full time and it was amazing to have Merrily in our corner making sure everything was done. She worked so well with all our vendors and we always knew when everything was due to them. She was extremely organized, which helped keep us on our budget. The day of the event was the topper; she was on her game! Our wedding day was perfection! We truly did not have to worry about anything, and it ran so smoothly. We hired Merrily Rocco of Merrily Wed last November (2015) for our daughters' Lake Tahoe wedding 9/2016. She was the first and finest decision we made. Our daughter lives in Denver, we live in northern California and our destination wedding on the west shore of Lake Tahoe seemed initially overwhelming, but ended up being nothing short of amazing. Merrily is the epitome of perfection in wedding planning. She has incredible vision, excellent communication skills, outstanding vendors and her attention to every last detail was extraordinary! She understands the business from every angle and keeps you on track every step of the way so you can truly enjoy the process. It was so beautifully orchestrated that I was sad to see it end. Merrily is someone I truly enjoyed working with and I have the utmost respect for her talents and creativity. She is simply the best in the business!!

My husband and I hired Merrily Wed for our June 2015 wedding before we had a venue or even a date. We both live in Texas but knew we wanted to get married in the beautiful setting that is Lake Tahoe, CA. That being said - that is ALL we knew. We have no connections or ties to the place and didn't know anything about wedding venues. We found Merrily after some initial online searching for "Lake Tahoe Wedding Planners" and after talking with a handful of different planners, decided to make the choice to go with Merrily Wed. We felt comfortable with Merrily and her team, had an amazing experience with Beth Hill, one of her team members, who showed us all around Tahoe one afternoon looking at multiple different venues and Merrily fell within our budget (which was a big thing for us). Beth became our go to girl for over 14 months as we planned our wedding. Again, we live in Texas and Beth is local to Tahoe so my Husband and I basically planned our wedding via emails, phone calls and recommendations from Beth/Merrily. Beth is one of THE most organized people I have met - and I consider myself to be organized - but she put me to shame in that category. She could answer any question regarding ANYTHING to do with the wedding within hours of my email. It was so comforting to know I didn't have to keep track of who needed to be paid when, when I needed to make certain decisions, etc. Beth provided us with a detailed wedding timeline broken out by month starting 12 months before our wedding. It had everything you could think of on there and it was an amazing tool we used throughout the planning process. She also provided us with a budget template, worked with our budget and helped us negotiate with certain vendors when we potentially were going to go over budget. We had three in-person meetings with Beth throughout the process but other than that, our wedding was planned from afar and with the amazing coordination Beth provided. Of course there were a few stressful times - as there always will be with planning such a large event - but there is no way I would have enjoyed this time planning if it wasn't for how calm, organized and excited Beth was each and every time I talked to her. She was literally on top of everything from day one and I can't sing her praises enough. Truly an amazing woman who is remarkable at her job! If it wasn't for Beth, Merrily and the entire team - there is no way we could have picked such amazing vendors. They helped us decide on everything from who to work with on linens, music, venue, hair, décor, etc. It was so nice to have someone who knew the area, knew our budget (and stuck to it) and knew our taste/style we were going for. The day of the wedding finally arrived and everything was perfect. Beth, Merrily and Pam worked flawlessly with each of the vendors and allowed me the time to get ready with my bridesmaids to be as fun and carefree as possible. We had a meeting with them before our rehearsal the day before and we passed off everything that needed to be done. I have had so many of our guests come up to me and say it was the best run wedding they have ever been part of and how beautifully everything came together. That is a true testament to Beth and Merrily for an amazing job well done - I promise you, you will not be disappointed by hiring them to help plan your big day. They have forever touched our hearts and I am so grateful our paths crossed during this time in my life.

Planning our wedding with Merrily was truly a joy! She made each step of the process so easy, enjoyable and fun which really made it so that my husband and I could enjoy our engagement and really have fun with the planning! She is incredibly detail oriented, knows all of the best vendors, has a great eye for design and detail and our wedding day flowed flawlessly. She has a wonderful team of women who work with her who were there for us on the day of to make sure every little last detail was taken care of, and I felt so taken care of and relaxed throughout the entire process and day of. Once we decided to work with Merrily, I felt like the burden of making sure everything was perfect for our special day was off my back, because she takes care of everything. Of course I still felt completely included and like it was my vision that was being created, but she expertly put me in touch with the right vendors and reminded me of the decisions I needed to make and never let anything slip through the cracks. Our wedding day was hands down the best day of our lives and it would not have been nearly as amazing, fun and beautiful without Merrily. I would recommend her to any bride!

I worked with Merrily Wed to plan my wedding at Sunnyside Restaurant and Lodge in Lake Tahoe. Merrily and her team came highly recommended to me from a very close friend and they didn't disappoint! I worked mostly with Beth Hill from Merrily Wed and she did such an amazing job. Day one, Beth sent over a detailed timeline for getting things done as well as a budget to help me stay on top of things. She also had my husband and me fill out a detailed personality and taste survey so that she could understand exactly what it was we were looking for. Following the survey and budget, she began sending me names and information on vendors she had worked with. I was able to take a look at the vendors and then she would contact them to see if they were available and on budget. Beth was so organized and knew exactly what I was looking for. I also must mention how well Beth and her team are under pressure! One week before my outdoor wedding, we found out there was a snowstorm on the way. Beth and the Merrily Wed team handled the situation beautifully! They were able to easily transfer the venue to our reception area and made the entire thing so seamless and even more beautiful than I had imaged. They calmed me down and knew exactly how to handle everything. Had I not had Merrily and her team, it would have been chaos! Day of the wedding, Beth was incredibly attentive and was on top of every single detail; she even replaced the live flower in my hair mid reception. Now that's attention to detail! Merrily Wed and her team are incredible and I highly recommend them!

Our Lake Tahoe wedding was perfect. We could have never done it without Merrily. Not only was she awesome and easy to work with, she kept me on top of everything, and easily has the best vendors. We could not have been happier with our wedding, or with Merrily. Personally, I'm not much of a wedding person, but with Merrily's help, I had people tell me after the wedding that I should go into event planning. That would never happen, I leave that to the professionals like Merrily! If you're going to get married in Tahoe, which I highly recommend, you definitely want Merrily to help you plan your day, no matter the size or budget. She's worth every penny!

We truly love our wedding day and there is nothing we would change about it but maybe to slow it down! It was everything that we imagined it would be thanks to Merrily. Without even knowing so many of the details, we know she did so much to make our day the beautiful, easy flowing and the memorable day it was. Our guests were blown away by the details and still bring it up all the time. The attention to detail and thoroughness of the Merrily Wed staff is second to none and we knew they had everything handled throughout planning. She would always respond promptly and thoroughly to my emails or phone calls. She was calming when she needed to be, decisive when I needed her to be and always caring for what we wanted.
