From the very first meeting with Cher and the Merry Me team, I knew my daughter Ashley's wedding was in the best possible hands. Their attention to detail, organization, and dedication to making Ashley and Owen's day perfect was beyond anything we could have imagined. Every step of the way, they offered advice, creative ideas, and a calm, collected presence that made us feel completely at ease.
We worked with Cher Goggins and Corinne Latham of the many team members of Merry Me. Cher is a Creative Mastermind - you ask for something fun and unique, classy and simple, or a New Year's Eve wedding NO ONE will forget and let me tell you - that is exactly what she will give you. Corinne is the Calm. She is so organized, detail oriented and such a delight to work with that we all knew that there was nothing that would not get done.
Working with Merry Me you don't just get a coordinated wedding you get a masterpiece. Ashley's ideas for her and Owen's wedding were brought to life. The floral arrangements were absolutely breathtaking - vibrant, fresh, and perfectly complimented the venue. The decor, was elegant and stylish, transforming the space into a magical atmosphere that left everyone in awe. I have received countless compliments from guests on how beautiful everything looked. It truly was an EPIC wedding and it was because of Merry Me.
Days before the wedding, friends would ask if I needed any help with anything and my response was "No, Merry Me has it all covered". I can truly say that as a Mother of the Bride, I was not stressed at all. I knew that Corinne had everything under control.
On the day of the wedding, it was a delight to spend time with the bridesmaids, Mother of the Groom and my daughter getting ready for one of the best days of my life. Corinne managed everything flawlessly - every timeline was followed to a tee, all the vendors were coordinated seamlessly, and not a single thing was out of place. We all truly felt like we could just enjoy the day.
I can truly say that Ashley and Owen's Wedding was one of the best days of my life. Spending time with family and friends, watching your girl get married to the love of her life and feeling completely at ease, completely happy - well it doesn't get much better than that.

I have mixed feelings regarding this service, and I'll explain why. The communication prior to the wedding was awful. I was passed around to three different coordinators, and I was made to feel like I was a bother rather than a paying client. I ended up asking for one specific coordinator that I had communicated with the most at that point, and expressed my concerns in terms of being passed around amongst the team, and they did end up solidifying that coordinator as my coordinator for my wedding. I was told I was passed around so much because it was their busy season and they didn't have a coordinator to assign to me, but now they would. The communication was still pretty bad though, even after that. It was so bad that it ended up causing me a lot of extra stress, because it was unclear as to what was my responsibility and what was the coordinator's responsibility, as well as the specifics on how they wanted things done. For example, I ended up having to do my seating chart three times, which was horrible and a lot of work. I had it done in excel and after I had it done, I was told I needed to do it on their website. I was never told that prior, so it was extremely frustrating to have it all done, and then have to do it again on their website (which is not user friendly at all). Then, after I had done it and told the coordinator it was done, she went in and changed things without asking me. So then I had to do it a third time to fix what she had done. After that, we had some long text exchanges regarding expectations and things improved after that. The day of the wedding went smoothly and the coordinator did do a lot of hard work and everything was beautiful. So I do thank her for all that she did for setup, florals, organization, etc. That was all great and I'll give her credit for that. However, the next day, we noticed that we had a big box of our favors left over. We thought this was strange because even though we knew not everyone would take their favors, we figured at least half of people would take them and with how many were in the box, it looked like nobody took their favors. I texted my family and some friends a couple days later to ask if they needed favors because we had a lot left over. My aunt and one of my friends told me that the coordinator was picking them up off the tables about an hour and a half prior to the end of the wedding. This was extremely upsetting to me because our wedding was still full, as most people didn't leave until it was over, and most people were dancing, so they weren't at their seat to "save" their favor from being taken away. I messaged the coordinator after I was informed she was picking them up and I was told that it is standard practice to pick them up 30 minutes prior to the end of the wedding. I have two issues with this...first, why would you pick them up prior to the end of the wedding? People do not take their favors until the wedding is over. And second, I was told by two people that it was not 30 minutes prior to the end, it was an hour and a half. So neither of those scenarios make sense. She told me she'd note it for future weddings. My guess is that the coordinator just wanted to be able to leave as soon as possible, which definitely made sense to me because from day 1, I always got the vibe from this company that I was a bother to them, because they were too busy and likely overbooked themselves for the wedding season. They should plan better and not overbook events.
Cher, Corinne and the team are absolutely the BEST!! I worked with them for flowers, tablescapes and day of planning & coordination for my wedding in August 2022 at Notre Dame. For florals & table decor, I really appreciated all of Cher's guidance and she was so wonderful to work with, especially through the process of moving dates due to covid. The arrangements & decor turned out beautifully! For day of planning & coordination, we absolutely loved working with Corinne! She was SO helpful, especially with planning the wedding from out of town & truly can't imagine not having her help! She was very thoughtful, detail oriented, listened to what I was looking for and gave great advice. She made sure everything went smoothly with our timeline, vendors, our family and so many details. I also really loved being able to use the tools Merry Me provides to work through details together and make sure I wasn't forgetting anything. I really felt like Corinne was my #1 person and was there for us to make the day stress-free & fun. I almost didn't add on day of coordination and I'm SO glad I did and feel so grateful that Corinne was available to help. I would highly recommend Merry Me!!
We hired Merry Me to handle the florals, design, and day of planning for our daughter's wedding. Cher was great to work with--very accommodating and responsive. She worked with us on creating the atmosphere my daughter and son-in-law were hoping for and it all came to fruition exactly as envisioned.
When it comes to event planning, this is the A team. You will be at ease with MerryMe in charge because they can throw a PARTY!! We received a personal touch with a professional execution from Shelley and Cher. They walked us through our party and options and smiled and laughed with us while adjusting to circumstances. You will be so glad you hired MerryMe to get ‘er done right!!
The lead florist Julie did an amazing job putting the right flowers together to really bring out the colors of the bridal party. The type of flowers went exactly with my theme and looked beautiful in our ceremony on the water. I would highly recommend merry me for floral needs , the process was quick and easy! You give them a few thoughts and they take it away with their creativity .
Cher and the team were AMAZING. They were on the ball, ensured our vision was met perfectly, and everything was seamless. Cher took personal responsibility for our job, despite having many other large jobs the same weekend, and it really showed her care.
Their floral work is the best, and the price was incredibly reasonable. After a frustrating false start with another local vendor, Merry Me rescued our event and made it truly spectacular.
Being from Chicago and getting married in South Bend, I wanted a certain look but being from out-of-town, I had a slow start. After seeing a beautiful wedding done by Merry Me Events at my parent's lakehouse in Michigan, I knew I needed to work with this team. Not only did they recommend the venue I chose but they helped me create my dream wedding by providing our florals, decor, and day of coordinating.
Cher and her team are the real deal! I initially loved their style and on point decor based on their portfolio but their work ethic and professionalsm made them TOP NOTCH.
I loved DIY-ing parts of my wedding but Merry Me events added the final touches that truly made our wedding look modern rustic, chic with a romantic ambiance.
Dani was our Day of Coordinator and being out of town, this was a must! She was a life savor and communicated regularly throughout the process. I honestly felt like I was working with a close friend during the whole planning process - I trusted her opinions, loved her taste and was grateful for her ability to take intiative.
Based on what was spoken about, planned and paid for, I knew it was going to look amazing, but walking into the venue for the first time on our wedding day - it was even better than we could have imagined. Words cannot express how thankful we were to have Dani, the day of coordinator, florals and the decor from Cher's on point design ideas. It all turned out absolutely stunning!
If you are currently on the hunt for a florist, design/decorating team, or Day of Coordinator, you should stop now and go with Merry Me (check it off your list)! I can wholeheartedly recommend them to any bride.
P.S. It's been a few months and we are still getting compliments on our unique wedding venue and decorations from that day!
We were absolutely thrilled with Cher and her team's work for our wedding last week. We hired her for Day of Coordinating, Decor, and Floral. A+ all around. Cher was fair, listened to our needs, trimmed back on decor when things started to get to pricey and left us with the most gorgeous reception we could have hoped for. A true professional in every sense of the word. I recommend Cher especially if you plan on having a larger wedding and the venue doesn't come ready for a wedding (like a country club). Our venue (The Brick) was a blank space and we were completely overwhelmed. Having Danielle as our day of coordinator made allowed me to simply enjoy the day without worrying about the timeline... totally worth the money.
They did a great job with capturing the overall feel that I wanted for my wedding. I loved the bouquet that they made for me. My only critique is that it took quite a few meetings to iron out details that had been previously talked about. Overall, they did a wonderful job and helped the wedding run perfectly.
Merry Me did an outstanding job with day-of coordination of my wedding so that my mom and I could enjoy ourselves! It was seamless and easy - they kept us on schedule at the reception and didn't forget a single detail! I highly recommend their coordinator/planning service!
Our daughter just recently got married at Whittaker Woods in New Buffalo Michigan. The venue was beautiful along with hiring Merry Me Events for Day of Planning, Floral/ Design and Invites it made the wedding amazing. From the first time I met Cher I knew she would go the extra mile to make our visions come to life. Cher and her team are amazing and listen to what their clients are wanting while adding their professional advice of what would work best with our ideas. Working with one company for it all works and runs so smoothly. Cher is amazing and words cannot describe how happy we are how awesome the wedding turned out!! We had so many people come up to us and tell us that it was the most organized, beautiful and fun wedding they had ever been too.
Our day of event planner was Lauren she is an amazing she gave 110 percent along with her assistant Alex to every detail of the rehearsal and day of. My daughter and I had people coming up to us for a full week before the wedding and day of and said they had never seen a bride and MOB so unstressed with a wedding a few days away. Merry Me Team make it so Bride and MOB can enjoy every minute of their special day while watching their visions of the wedding unfold more beautiful then what they even imagined. A friend of mine referred me to Cher and her Merry Me Team and I am so grateful to her it made wedding planning and day of wedding so enjoyable. Hiring Merry Me is so worth it!! I have learned from my experience with hiring Merry Me it that quality of a wedding over rules quantity of guests!!!
I will use Merry Me again when our other daughter gets married someday and will highly recommend to everyone to hire Merry Me!! MOB’s do yourself a favor and hire Merry Me for at least The Day of Planning package you won’t be disappointed. Moms of Brides deserve to enjoy their daughter’s wedding day with no stress.

Cher and Richelle created a magical day for my daughter and son-in-law. Their wedding was at the basilica on the Notre Dame campus and the reception was at the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center ( Gillespie Center). Everything that day ran so smooth and I never had to worry about making sure all the details were taken care of.
The moment I saw the reception room I let out a gasp as all our guests did because it was nothing short of MAGICAL. In fact our guests did not want to leave when it was over because the room was unbelievable- a picture that will be forever in my memory- it was that TERRIFIC.
We really enjoyed working with Cher and her team. They worked within our budget and made our wedding day even more beautiful with their creative centerpieces and every other decoration. Wouldn't have been the same without
Merry Me Events did the bouquets and corsages for my wedding. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL! They were exactly like the picture I sent. They were delivered on time and the woman who delivered them stayed to ensure that everything was perfect with them before leaving. Cher at Merry Me was very easy to work with, even when I had to make some changes and additions pretty close to the wedding.
Cher and her team did a great job. We gave them a budget and they gave us great ideas to help keep costs within the budget. Also, as we got closer to the wedding and day of, they made sure everything was perfect.
As an out-of-town bride, I knew I would need help planning a wedding in South Bend. I was referred to Cher and Merry Events by a friend who, herself, is an event planner. (I knew she would know who to go to!) This was, by far, the best vendor referral I've ever received. If I could give Cher and her crew, 10 stars, I would.
Cher, and her team, are an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first meeting to the last, she was everything we needed in a planner- her ideas, flexibility, commitment to her brides, creativeness and professionalism were outstanding. She was able to work with our budget to create something I could have never put together ourselves. She designed our flowers, decor and even the details on our cake!
Our assigned Day of Coordinator, Richelle, was everything we hoped- she was under the radar, and moved our day right along and on schedule. The day of was effortless, and thanks to Richelle, no one in our family had to worry about the tiny details. That alone is worth EVERY penny. She was professional, flexible, and our families enjoyed working with her.
Most importantly, Cher made me feel secure in our budget, planning and those tiny details. Let's face it, how many of us have planned our weddings before? Sometimes, you just need a little positive assurance in your decisions and time-lines. I hope, we are able to work with Merry Me again!!!
Can't say how great it was to have someone to take care of everything the day of the wedding. It gave Randy and I a chance to enjoy the day as well as my friends and family to be apart of the day instead of the behind the scene stuff! Ami and Cher were amazing! We had a GREAT wedding and can't thank them enough for being apart of it!
My consultant was fabulous, knowing just what I wanted only after meeting a couple times! She was able to envision what I had in mind for my 'perfect' wedding and made it absolutely gorgeous! Thanks Ami!!
