Our showroom, located in Kill Devil Hills, is open Monday - Saturday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, and event customers are served 7-days a week. We stock a wide variety of tents, tables, chairs, linens and dinnerware for casual parties or elegant receptions as well as accessories for an intimate beach ceremony.

We used Metro Rental for our reception in Corolla and loved working with them. They accommodated my many change orders effortlessly and were great to work with in the months leading up to the wedding. Equipment drop off and pick up was seamless and everything was great quality. They also did string lighting over the yard at our wedding house and it completely transformed the look and feel - definitely recommend if you are doing a beach house wedding in the Outer Banks! Prices were very reasonable and I enjoyed working with them very much.
Great value and great service! The team was professional and prompt leading up to our event. We used them to outfit our wedding with a tent, tables, linens, chairs and more. It was easy and quick to make adjustments to our quote. I was worried about drop off because we were using a rental home and weren't sure how early we could check in. But Metro contacted the property manager and made sure they were all cleared to get in early to set up the tent. The staff called me when they got there to confirm tent placement and when we arrived, everything was accounted for! 11/10 for communication and reliability. We were grateful to trust that the rentals for our wedding were in good hands!
I got married at a state owned and operated facility that only used sustainable products, so no paper or plastic products could be used. Needing plates, utensils, glasses, and other miscellaneous items, I turned to Metro. I used them because that was recommended during the wedding planning process from my venue. At first, there were a lot of unnecessary charges and items I later found out I didn't need. Hannah and Hope were lifesavers! I had to ask the hard questions to remove fees for delivery, pick-up, drop-off, extra utensils, glasses, and plates. I enjoyed their show room and able to physically touch every piece of rental equipment. I felt uneasy with the pick-up and drop-off process because there was no exchange of names, only products. The gentleman at the wedding expo did not seem like he wanted to be there neither. In the end, everything turned out wonderfully and I saved money by only using their products, not their services.

All of our rentals arrived on time and in good condition. The company was quick to get back to our emails, and easy to work with.
We rented chairs from Metro Rental for our wedding day and they were perfect. The numbers and times changed close to the date and they were quick to revise the contract and work with us. Metro Rentals were very easy to deal with. We only wish that setup and cleanup of the chairs was included, or at least at a more reasonable price. Overall, it was a good experience.
My wedding got cancelled because of COVID 19 and we were unable to even enter the outer banks. Metro rental did nothing but give me a list if rentals and they refused to give me my entire deposit back. Out of $531 they gave us back $340 and even that was a struggle. Me and my family are in a financial loss because vendors like Metro Rental did not have the heart to refund our money because of a pandemic out of our control. I would never recommend doing business with them.
Holly at Metro Rental was so helpful in planning all of our rentals. We booked at a discount from the Outer Banks Wedding Association Expo over a year before our wedding so she helped us with every change we made. They also have a nice little showroom where you could set up your table and get a better idea of what it will look like before the wedding day.
Holly was great to deal with and everything was on time and in order. No issues at all.
Mandi and the team at Metro Rental are fabulous to work with. I came in early in the wedding planning process to speak with them about options, colors, etc. Mandi was incredibly responsive throughout and gave great feedback regarding what and how much I would need. I made several changes and additions to my order and nothing was forgotten. I even needed to add a few linens on the day of and that was handled with no added hassle for me. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you again Metro Rental!
I just booked my linens with Metro, haven’t seen them yet as my wedding is in a few weeks but I can’t say enough about Mandi! She was so helpful and didn’t seem to get annoyed with my mind forgetting everything (I like to call it bride brain). She even sent me over some ideas on how the room can be set up which was so helpful since I’ve never even seen the venue. I recommend!
We rented napkins in two shades of blue from Metro Rental for our August 5th wedding. Mandi was extremely helpful in guiding us to pick the right type and color of napkin for the event. She also made the whole pick up and drop off process effortless and stress free! The napkins looked beautiful and complimented our decor perfectly.

My husband and I got married two weekends ago at Jennette's Pier and used Metro Rental for our linens, glasses and dance floor for the wedding. This company is absolutely AMAZING! I was very pleased with their excellent customer service and super quick responses to emails. Mandi, in particular, was great to work with and helped make wedding planning for us stress-free. Every item that we rented was exactly as pictured and flawless. I would highly recommend Metro Rental for your next event! :)

Metro Rentals was wonderful! First, they have a huge selection of rentals. I rented everything from water glasses and linens right down to my ceremony arch and cafe light for the reception. Every single person I worked with, from the ladies working in the store front to the gentlemen delivering the rentals, was kind, considerate, helpful, and knowledgeable (with a special shout out to Megan and Mandy)! I would definitely rent from Metro again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to all OBX couples. My only complaint is that their website and brochure are not very descriptive and do not do their products justice, but that detracts nothing from the quality of their service!
Horrible costumer service. They delivered our chairs and tables without telling us they were there. When we called them to tell them they were wrong and would not be using them, they refused to pick them back up or refund us our money. We spent $400 and did not use any of the items delivered. They had to sit outside the venue the day we got married and were the most horrible things I have ever seen

Our banquet tables require some type of linen for they are used at numerous events from the beer fest to the elaborate vineyard wedding and handled differently. Due to the vast area in which Metro Rental services an impromptu pick up or delivery request may not be probable, we cannot guarantee a specific time for delivery or pickup. We want to create a stress fee atmosphere along with a pleasant experience so by request, we will note a time that works best and call our clients prior to delivery or pick up. Otherwise, we will deliver the day prior to the event and pick up the day after at our one day rate during normal business hours to the front, ground level, carport area. We will note a specific request when made in advance and will make every effort to accommodate it or will notify you.
Again, we apologize and hope that you will give us another chance to par take in your next celebration.
I would recommend Metro Rental. Jerri was great and always easy to get a hold of. I changed my mind 100 times and she was always very helpful. The reason they didn't get a 5 was because the items didn't get picked up until Wednesday and our wedding was on Monday. We started to get worried that the items would have gotten stolen. Other then that Metro Rentals was great.

We used Metro Rentals for tables and chairs for our small wedding. They were very friendly and easy to work with. The rental items were dropped off promptly the day before the wedding and picked up (without us even noticing) the day after the wedding. The timing worked perfectly and made it much less stressful to do our site setup and tear down. We would definitely use them again if we had another event in OBX.
