Metropolitan at The 9

Metropolitan at the 9 is a beautiful place to have your wedding! If you’re looking for a place in Cleveland that you can have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in one location then I would highly recommend the 9! Kennedy, their event coordinator, is AMAZING to work with. She made us feel so comfortable and was very knowledgeable. She answered all questions timely and was wonderful at giving recommendations and making our vision happen. If my original plan was to have a wedding in Cleveland, I would have held off on hiring a full wedding planner because there’s no need with how hands on Kennedy and the 9 are! For the wedding weekend, the 9 provides a presidential suite for the bride to stay at the night before and the day of. They also provide a room for the groom to sleep in the night before. The bridal party was able to get ready right at the hotel which made the weekend stress-free and also feel like a mini vacation. The 9 provides elevated food, drink, AND dessert with multiple tiers to choose from to fit different budgets. The food/drinks were easily the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. They provide linens, chargers, all glassware/cutlery, and décor if you choose. They help with the set up and clean up so the next morning all I had to do was pack up my car and go! They even packed and stored the leftover cake for us and our anniversary cake! At the end of the night, our room had late night snacks and cake ready for us (things you don’t actually get to enjoy during your own wedding). Pretty much every aspect of wedding planning is covered with the 9 and anything that is not (such as florals or a DJ), they have recommendations for if you don’t already have someone in mind. I would easily choose the 9 over and over again for a Cleveland wedding! We are looking forward to enjoying espresso martinis a year from now for our one year anniversary stay!

Truly do not know where to begin to explain our experience at the 9. Our wedding night will be unforgettable and even the planning leading up to it. From our very first meeting, Kennedy was on top of her game and knowledgeable and professional about everything. She was one of the main reasons we picked the 9 because we knew she would be so helpful throughout the planning process. She was prompt to respond to emails and questions and always available. She was flexible in picking out options for the wedding and always tried to work with us to the best she could with what we wanted. The food / beverage tasting prior to the meeting was well organized and a lot of fun. Kennedy kept us in the loop leading up to the event to make sure we had everything organized. She also offered her professional opinion which was very helpful when trying to balance all of the options there are these days and opinions from others. The day of the wedding was an absolute dream. Everything was gorgeous, the space was very clean, food was delicious and nothing went wrong. Kennedy was there and available to ensure success. All of the other staff was great as well! Drinks were delicious and service was great as well. The Vault for cocktail hour was one of our guests favorite part. In the ballroom, we comfortably sat 180 people with three bars that were never backed up. The dance floor looks small but ended up being a great size and we had everyone out there dancing. The staff did not miss a beat when it came to bringing out the food, reopening the bar, serving the cake and the late night bites. The clean up was fantastic too and everything was organized for easy pick up in the AM. We also had organized a section of the rooftop bar to be reserved for after the wedding which the guests loved. On top of it, it was so nice to be able to just take the elevator back down to our hotel room. Three weeks later and our guests are still raving about what a beautiful venue it was. So look no further for the perfect venue and most helpful sales manager, Kennedy, ever. Thanks again to everyone at the 9 who made it such a memorable experience.

I cannot even begin to describe how incredible our experience was getting married at the Metropolitan at the 9’s. From start to finish, the attention to detail and care that Kennedy and the entire 9’s team provided were truly otherworldly. They went above and beyond in every sense to ensure we had the most perfect weekend imaginable! For example, during our reception I mentioned feeling a bit sleepy, and Kennedy immediately offered me a cappuccino or an espresso martini (or both!). There were a million other moments and details like these made us feel so special and taken care of—the staff were all so sweet, thoughtful, and genuinely dedicated to making sure we had the best day ever. To add a bit of context, my new husband and I live in Ireland, so planning a wedding with an 8-hour time difference in the States could have been a challenge. However, Kennedy and the 9’s team made the entire process so easy and seamless. You'd never know there was any time difference at all—Kennedy was always there with a fast, kind, and helpful response to all the questions we had no matter the time or day. She also coordinated and took care of all the vendor communications during the week of the wedding to ensure that everything flowed perfectly on our big day! We seriously felt like royalty throughout the entire week. If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would! If you're reading this and haven't chosen a venue yet, book the 9’s now—it will be the best decision you'll ever make! We had guests traveling in from all over the country, and we’re STILL hearing about how fun and amazing our wedding at the 9’s was. We had so many people say our wedding at the 9’s was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, and everyone couldn't stop talking about the delicious food! (The amazing food gets mentioned in every single review for a reason—it's SERIOUSLY some of the best you and your guests will ever eat). All the staff were so kind and helpful, making our guests feel welcome and well taken care of, especially since many of them were visiting Cleveland for the first time. I can't recommend Kennedy, the 9’s staff, and the venue itself enough. We couldn't be happier with how perfect our wedding week was, and we'll be forever grateful to the wonderful team at the 9’s. We can't wait to visit for our anniversary next year!

Kennedy was absolutely spectacular throughout the whole process, she was the main reason why we chose to have our wedding at The 9. She was very communicative, organized, friendly, and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough great things about her and the staff at the 9! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how attentive the waitstaff were during the reception. Everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole wedding weekend, 15/10 recommend.
