My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Marcea during summer of '22 and she helped tremendously with the wedding planning process. From the start she was incredibly easy to talk to and offered helpful tips in areas that we were unsure about. She made great recommendations, and we took all of her advice. Throughout the actual wedding day, everything went exactly as planned. If there were any hiccups, I certainly don't know about it. How wrong I was and as the MOB, it was such a blessing to be able to enjoy the day with my daughter, our families, friends and not have to think about much but relaxing and immersing myself in the joy of the event. Marcea was wonderful to work with. We had several meetings prior to our wedding where we ironed out all of the details, and she made sure we were comfortable heading into the wedding. On the day of, she made everything run smoothly and stress free. We also appreciated the large inventory of items that she had available for us to use, which helped reduce our rental costs.

There are way too many details for a bride to think about on her own. Marcea went above and beyond in each step of our planning process. She came well prepared to bring to my attention the details that never would have crossed my mind. When it comes to wedding planning, Marcea knows that the bride and groom come first (but mostly the bride, tbh). She stepped out of her way to create that perfect wedding I had always dreamed about. One thing that really impressed me was, with every meeting with our other wedding vendors, Marcea held a high level of professionalism, including printed check lists and spreadsheets, to ensure we touched on everything we might need. Yet, at the same time, there was never a cloud of worry in the room. All of our meetings together were filled with joy and excitement about the big day my fiancé and I were planning. I never doubted that I was in good hands and I could have peace that all the pieces would fall into place because she was right there with me to make sure everything was in place and we had all we wanted and more. MG Event Designs was absolutely fantastic. They had outstanding coordination, punctuality, and insight, helping our wedding be well-prepared and beyond stunning. Marcea guided us through the things we never even thought we’d have to think about, providing really helpful assistance through the whole process. I remember her taking such good care of my wife, making things smooth and ready to go. Additionally, when issues or complications came up, she was always on top of it; we were in such great hands. MG Event Design was absolutely incredible to work with! Our venue staff and officiant all said they had never seen a more on-time and seamlessly organized wedding. As MOB, it was such a blessing to enjoy the day with my daughter and not have to think about anything but being present. MG took care of every detail. Communication from the start was exceptional. MG kept us organized, gave timely reminders, offered fantastic suggestions for other vendors and rental companies, and offered a wonderful stock of in-house rental options. I can't imagine a wedding planner with more professionalism. We absolutely loved our experience with MG Event Design!

Marcea was the absolute best from the very beginning, until we said I do. It was wonderful having Marcea & her team for my son's wedding, but it's a whole different ballgame when your daughter gets married! There were plenty of moments in the planning & day-of when I (mother of the bride) was tempted to panic, but it was Marcea who kept me calm, while handling every last detail! MAGICAL & MASTERFUL! Marcea took our wedding vision and turned it into a magical event. We wanted an elegant evening with a focus on our family and friends. Marcea masterfully created just that! We had about 50 guests at a family member's lakeside home. Our ceremony was at a beautiful spot down by the water just as Marcea had suggested. In addition to supporting design and decor, she expertly guided us in planning activities and made sure the evening flowed well. It was wonderful to see guests relaxed and enjoying the night either sipping cocktails, making s’mores or having fun in the photo booth. Marcea is skilled at problem solving and she makes it look easy! When our photographer needed to cancel just days before the wedding, Marcea found three possible replacements within a couple of hours AND within our budget! Some of our flowers arrived brown and unusable, Marcea took care of it! When I had the wrong cord for the speakers, Marcea and her assistant got right to work and solved the problem. One of the things we valued about Marcea was that she is open and straight to the point. She was great at making suggestions and sharing insights to help carry out our vision. My husband and I describe the night as truly magical. We were able to focus on friends and family and had the most memorable evening. We highly recommend Marcea and are thankful for her expertise.

It was very evident that Marcea was experienced and knew exactly what she was doing. From our planning sessions to the day-of coordination, Marcea helped handle every little detail to ensure that the wedding ran as smoothly as I had pictured. Marcea has gone above and beyond for my fiancé and I. She is always willing to answer my many questions and offer ideas/suggestions. When you talk with her, she has such a warm personality that instantly makes you feel comfortable. My fiancé and I had to postpone our June 2020 wedding to June 2021 due to Covid and Marcea has been so understanding. I know that when we get the green light for our new wedding date, Marcea will be right there with us.

Marcea's presence at our wedding made an enormous difference in the event's success. We were initially hesitant to hire a day-of coordinator, but I'm so thankful we did. Marcea's guidance, flexibility, communication, and organization were extraordinarily appreciated. She stuck with us through multiple postponements, helped make sure we had planned everything we needed to, and handled everything behind the scenes on the wedding day. From fixing other vendors' mishaps on the fly to setting everything up beautifully, she made sure the day went smoothly and that we could focus on our guests. By the time the night was over, she already had everything packed and taken care of. A day-of coordinator is not a full wedding planner, and hiring one doesn't get you out of doing your own diligence in planning the wedding, but Marcea jumped in seamlessly to help execute our plans. Highly recommend!

Marcea has been such a great help since the moment we hired her. We, like many other couples this year, have dealt with the many obstacles of facing COVID and the uncertainty of wedding planning and Marcea has been nothing but supportive, adaptable and offered many great alternative ideas. We look forward to her continued support next year during our larger (postponed) wedding reception next year. I highly recommend her!

I don't even know where to start. Marcea is a professional. She is always collected. Always prepared. We got engaged in February and were planning a summer wedding that same year. During our first meeting, I thought that was going to be a problem. We were on a tight timeline! Nope, Marcea was so calm and made us feel so at ease. She gave us a list of vendors we could reach out to, offered some immediate guidance, and that was all before we even signed a contract with her! In the following months, the world shut down due to COVID but we stayed in touch over video calls and adjusted our plans accordingly. We had several video calls with Marcea and she kept us on track with our milestones i.e. booking our venue, sending invitations, booking the DJ and photographer... Bonus of working with Marcea, she has a lot of beautiful decorations in her arsenal that she makes available for her clients to use. I had a very specific vision for the garlands I wanted on our dinner tables that I neglected to communicate clearly. Marcea was so kind and found a florist that was able to make what I wanted! Marcea is also very plugged into the industry. About 3 weeks ahead of our wedding, Marcea gave us the heads up that venues were going to issue more restrictions. Long story short, we had to cancel our wedding which was an incredibly difficult decision. Marcea was so supportive and understanding. It really felt like we were working with a friend. I envy the future brides who will get to work with Marcea. She is truly the best.

Marcea was our day of coordinator for our wedding, and was so helpful and supportive of our needs and dreams! She is so professional and kind, and really makes her client’s vision her own. As the mother of the bride, I felt reassured that everything was taken care of and my focus was on my daughter and enjoying the day. It blew me away that I had nothing to do because it was all handled by Marcea. I was in awe at how Marcea handled everything with such grace and calm. The decor and table settings exceeded my expectations. She is a gem!

Marcea saved us during this Covid-19 time. We had a wedding planned in Southern California which we had to cancel and move our wedding up to Washington State because of my mom's health. We had one month to plan a wedding, and Marcea made it everything we dreamed of and more. We were so thankful for her professionalism and her timliness on everything. Our photographer and videographer mentioned specifically to me that they loved working with her because she kept them in the loop of everything. I highly recommend!!!

Being the last in my group of friends to get married, I witnessed first hand how much time and effort goes into wedding planning. It can be stressful, with lots to think about and consider, and things that will totally slip your mind. As a groom, I helped my soon-to-be wife as much as I could, but there’s definitely something awesome about having a professional by your side to help you along the way. In comes Marcea. Besides being so easy to work with, she’s a knowledge powerhouse when it comes to everything and anything related to wedding planning. She even saved us a considerable amount of money by reviewing the contract of one of our vendors. I heard that a great wedding planner makes sure the day goes without issue. That’s the case with Marcea. I was never approached by any vendors outside of being asked if I was hungry or if I wanted a drink. When it comes to logistics and making sure everything is in order, Marcea can be trusted. One of my colleagues at work was asking about wedding planning and I didn’t hesitate to pass along her contact info. She’s that good.

Marcea was the wedding planner for my niece's wedding. She was an invaluable asset providing expert advice during planning and managing event logistics (venue, caterers, florists, etc.). No one (bride, groom, bridal party, family, guests) had to intervene or be responsible for anything on the day of. If there was a problem with any of the vendors, we didn't know about it. It meant that all of us could simply enjoy the moment. Beyond the thoughtful consultation and efficient execution, Marcea was so easy to work with. She was available whenever there was a question or a need for reassurance that all was going well. I am truly grateful for Marcea. The day before our daughter’s wedding I asked the groom how he was holding up. He had a lot on his plate with family arriving in town, multiple airport runs and last minute errands. He responded, “Wow, weddings sure do have a lot of moving parts!” I couldn’t agree more which is why I am so thankful we had Marcea in our corner. No matter how many balls we threw in the air she juggled them all with grace, kindness, and an indefatigable “No worries, I’ll take care of it!” attitude. Thank you, Marcea! Straight to the point, Marcea is a very professional, knowledgeable, and motivated wedding planner. She made the planning process very easy; she executed the day of amazingly, and she brought a beautiful creativity to our décor that just made everything so much fun, which was exactly what we wanted! She was ALWAYS prompt and flexible and a joy to work with. She always drove to me and accommodated what I needed. I can imagine our wedding was probably a challenge because most of our guests were from out of town, we have a ton of steps and sides to our families with some drama and poor communication but the whole day before and the day of event went so smooth and right on schedule. It’s hard to put into words how much Marcea helped me and my husband throughout our wedding planning process and how much she helped me, my husband, our families, and our wedding party throughout our wedding day. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, Marcea dedicated countless hours to helping us plan. Marcea is very knowledgeable about the wedding industry and can give you great advice on what works and what doesn’t work at weddings because of her experience. She also has a lot of contacts and can refer you great vendors. In short, Marcea is phenomenal and she’ll be the best vendor you hire for your wedding. She went above and beyond what we expected from her and what a lot of other wedding planners would offer. I’ve always dreamed Id have this beautiful Pinterest worthy wedding. But with such a small budget, I doubted it could happen. I also dreamed of the day being completely stress free for everyone involved, but since when does that happen in weddings? Well I can safely say that she helped me achieve both. Everyone who attended was astounded at how beautiful the wedding day was and everyone involved was so relaxed. She is an absolute miracle worker.

I really enjoyed working with Marcea. I chose her because of many things that I will dive into below, but mainly because I felt she balanced me very well. I work in events and was planning the wedding myself, but I knew I would need a rock star coordinator for day-of execution, and Marcea delivered an unbelievable wedding day for my husband and myself! We were told by dozens of people it was the best wedding they had ever been to. People would not stop talking about OUR wedding for weeks! •Professional - Marcea impressed me right away with her templates and organizational skills. My husband and I had no idea what our vision was for the ceremony and she helped lay things out so we could solidify all the details, because there are a lot of details to consider! When we booked her she instantly got all contact information for vendors, bridal party and parents to keep open and appropriate communication with all parties. •Decisive - I can be indecisive. Marcea kept me focused and on track. She knew what I wanted and she helped me keep it simple. In a world of Pinterest and outrageous wedding ideas, sometimes you need someone who will help you stay realistic and focus on what is most important to you for your wedding day, not on things you like because they are trendy now. •Creative/Connected - She had great suggestions of decor, ideas and vendors that were within our budget. She knows the industry well and was good at helping us determine our vision. •Clutch - The morning of the wedding she walked a quarter mile in heels, in the rain, and down hill to trim the stems on all the bouquets (that sounds so bridezilla of me; I promise I wasn’t in bridezilla mode, or at least I don’t think I was :)). Let’s just say she went above and beyond to make everything come together. She also did an amazing job of decorating the ceremony and turning the room for the reception. It was so beautiful! •Stayed until the job was done - She stayed all the way until the room was completely clean! She directed the service staff and clean-up crew on clean-up tasks to get things done quickly and efficiently and loaded up. •Communication - Marcea worked with my vendors on timeline so that everyone was in sync on the wedding day. She conducted the wedding rehearsal as well so that the officiant, ushers, family members and bridal party knew their part and so wedding day would flow perfectly, which it did! She also was great at dealing with my venue when there were a few scheduling hiccups and other miscommunications that the venue messed up on. Marcea did a wonderful job and was a first class coordinator!

Marcea was everything I could have hoped for in a coordinator and MORE! Our meetings before the wedding, she was so thorough and thoughtful. She brought up ideas and details that I forgot!! She calmed any of nerves. She supported me through every step of the way. On the wedding day, nothing slipped through the cracks, no detail to big or small was forgotten, we paced perfectly with our timeline all day long (a miracle! Thank you Marcea for helping us with this!). When she was directing our bridal party, ushers, and guest attendances she lead with grace, kindness, and promptness. Coming from a family where weddings are the party of the century, my wife and I had a lot to live up to when planning our wedding. Luckily we had Marcea. I was nervous about who to pick and what traits to look for, because planning a 350+ person wedding is a lot to handle, especially with someone as detail crazed as me. However, once we met Marcea, it was like planner at first sight; we knew she had it on lock. She's friendly and sweet, but incredibly sharp and knows how to get it done and get it done right. She was so keenly aware of each and every detail from each and every angle and made sure our day was OUR DAY and nothing short of it. Marcea was a dream come true. There were so many elements of our day that we didn't even know that we had to plan or where to start, and she stepped right in and walked us through the entire process. From start to finish, our experience with her was smooth, easy and an absolute blast. If something went wrong through the process she had a solution ready to be executed before we even realized there was an issue and on the day of our wedding, not a single detail was missed, nor timeline off track.
