Working with Michelle was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! Her experience and connections in the industry were invaluable throughout the entire planning process. I felt completely confident in her judgment and appreciated her guidance and keen eye for detail every step of the way. Michelle was incredibly organized, timely, and on top of every detail, ensuring nothing was overlooked. On the big day, she took care of absolutely everything, allowing me to simply enjoy each moment without a single worry. It was such a relief, and I can’t express how grateful I am for that peace of mind as a bride.
Wedding planning can be overwhelming, I highly recommend hiring her if you want a beautiful, stress-free wedding day!
First and foremost, if you are Indian or Pakistani, do not expect your culture, your traditions, or what you want to be respected or researched by Michelle. Both my fiance and I work pretty trying jobs and I was not planning on taking any time off during the planning process specifically because we paid a hefty amount to have Michelle fully plan all of our 3-day wedding. Of our total vendor count, Michelle found us 2 vendors we decided to go with, she never gave us options at all for any vendors — there was always just the 1 she suggested and she wouldn’t provide the information on that one vendor until it was too late to look anywhere else. She didn’t bother to help us stay even remotely close to our budget despite our asking many times, and was completely unreachable aside from forwarding us bills to pay. One example of her awful planning was when I told her my number one priority was cake (because I’m a baker), she ended up suggesting a cake vendor that was horribly suited to us and whose cakes were dense, overly sweet, and not unique in any capacity. when we went out on our own to find another cake vendor to use, they turned out to be in the same city Michelle lives in with better pricing. Why hadn’t she given us any choices except that one horrible vendor to begin with? Why did I have to go searching in Michelle’s own area to find another cake vendor 3 weeks before our wedding from across the country?
Let’s move to “weekend of”planning. Michelle arrived at the hotel hours late because she hadn’t appropriately budgeted for traffic, already upset that we weren’t available to let her come get things from our room that she refused to let us ship to her directly. Because she was late (I’m assuming this was the cause), our table assignment display (which we had discussed multiple times, I had drawn a diagram of, I had taken time to write explicit instructions for and literally only required her and her assistants to stick a record in a sleeve) was completely wrong and confused our guests to the point where they complained to us and family members who were most likely to be offended never received their record. One might think she’d make up for all this with her great attitude and friendliness? No. One of our vendors we were already close to told us about how rude she was and a “run-in” he experienced with her on our wedding weekend and she did nothing to help the flow or flexibility of timing during our wedding. Despite an extensive call with our photographer about the time and locations he’d need to use, michelle did not help to coordinate that timeline which resulted in us not being able to get photos in the one signature area of our venue that we wanted and ultimately we got pushed out to the parking lot of the venue to take photos in 113 degree weather. She was snarky and dramatic with my mother and father in law at multiple points throughout the weekend. The desserts and cake we had to find? Shoved in a dark corner on wedding day, the fact that we asked to save our top tier of the cake —she ignored that request (we’ll never get that one back so thank you Michelle!). The napkins and matchbooks my mother in law had printed for us? Never used, found in a box returned to our room from the planner’s room after the weekend. to be honest I’m just thankful she stayed out of my way that weekend but I hope this helps other brides find a planner that will truly care about a day that holds a significant memory for them.

I did my best to manage expectations, adjust my workflow to fit their needs, go beyond the scope of our contract to be of service, and advise on budget reductions to keep costs in check. Couples are in full control with how their money is spent. Couples should also read their contracts carefully so they know what to expect and can agree to adhere to the terms before they sign.
This review is not reflective of how I have provided exceptional service to my couples for over 18 years, and the actions of the couple towards me at the wedding events. On the wedding day, I received smiles, hugs and a thank you. I have a very different account of how the entire experience unfolded but at the end of the day their perception is their reality and I wish them the best.
I am not sure there are adequate words to express our appreciation for all that Michelle brought to the table. As the mother of the bride I wanted to make my daughter’s wedding dreams come true and still hold onto some of our family traditions. Michelle is an excellent listener and was able to take our ideas and make my daughter’s dreams come true. Her extensive experience and vendor relationships helped create absolute magic! Our wedding weekend was the best weekend of our lives and it is 100% thanks to Michelle Garibay and her amazing team. We have been working with Michelle for well over a year and the experience has been above five stars the entire time. Michelle was amazing, we had a wedding weekend at The Hyatt Indian Wells with about 200 people and couldn't be any happier with the outcome!!
From the start she asked what our vision was for our big day and from there created wonderful design boards and found us vendors that suited us best! The design boards came to life in an even better way than I could've ever imagined! She took time to get to know us as a couple to create a very personalized "us" wedding. Her team is also top notch and I ended up feeling stress free and like a guest at my own wedding. A bunch of our guests keep raving that this was "the best wedding" they've ever been to - I might be biased but I have to agree!
Michelle and her team helped us plan the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, the wedding itself and a farewell brunch - each event felt unique to itself but all somehow in our taste.

We just got back from Palm Springs where we celebrated my son and daughter-in-law's wedding weekend. We hosted the rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells and hired Michelle Garibay to handle everything since we live in Virginia. We met with Michelle once to select the space, and everything else was done online and over the phone. Super easy. Michelle handled everything from the unique furniture rentals, the spectacular flower arrangements, beautiful linens, the perfect lighting and even the music. Both events were absolutely amazing! Our rehearsal dinner space was on the 18th green - completely dark by sunset - so Michelle had pink uplighting on all the surrounding palm trees and rattan lanterns and white lights hanging over the tables. The welcome party highlight was the enormous pink round bar with more flowers than you could ever imagine draping over head. For the music, she was able to hire Moses Lin for us and he was incredible. Truly , Michelle exceeded every expectation we had and made the entire night before the wedding a really special event.
My son and daughter-in-law planned the entire wedding with Michelle and every detail was even better than expected. They had hoped for a fun and relaxing Palm Springs feel with the beautiful backdrop of the palm trees and desert mountains. Michelle created a pink and white checkerboard dance floor with flowers that fit into the natural surroundings. The result was incredible.

As the mother of the groom and living in another state, having Michelle and her team by our sides was amazing and quickly learned to be invaluable. Being the first wedding on both sides we did not know what to expect but it was proven that we could not have done it without her. It was a gift to not have to be worried the week or day of the wedding as everything that was chosen during the planning period was accomplished. The timing of everything was perfect and the bride had a personal attendant from Michelle's team with her throughout the entire day. Our family couldn't be more blessed to have had this experience and now consider Michelle a friend!

We had the privilege of working with Michelle. Her planning from start to finish was amazing! From our first call of going over what we’re looking for to when she sent us our design boards were spot on. She worked with us to find cost savings where we could but still create our dream wedding.
No words can truly express how beautiful our rehearsal and wedding was. The rehearsal was perfect, from the table settings to the beautiful succulents. We loved the vibe of the night and could not have chosen a better location. Inside the barrel room was so pretty and we loved all the details and dried oranges. The food was delicious, and the servers and bartenders were so nice. Everyone said it was like a mini wedding from the outside with the lights to the inside with the drapes over us. It was beyond gorgeous.
The wedding was everything I could ever dreamed of plus more! I kept taking small moments and looking around at the details from the table sets, to candles, to beautiful flowers, to our amazing sweetheart table. The sweetheart table was so amazing, the setup was great and made us feel so special with our cabaña with lights. The falling flowers off the table and on the sides of the cabana were amazing details. It was so much fun and so well planned. Thank you to your amazing team for being there early and setting up during the hottest day ever! I hope everyone was safe with no issues. Courtney was so sweet and helped me feel comfortable all day! I loved having her nearby at all times to help keep everything on schedule and move people around to the correct location. She helped with fanning me, keeping me cool calm and collected all day. Everyone loved her and were so thankful to have her around. You and your team were so sweet and setup a beautiful wedding. I am looking through all the pictures and videos of the day and just smile at it all!

We worked with Michelle this past year for our July wedding in LA (2022) and we couldn't have been more thrilled with that decision! I spoke with almost a dozen planners before moving forward with MGE and what stood out to me during our initial conversation was that she listened more than she spoke - I really felt like she wanted to understand our vision and find the best way to add value while bringing it to life and that's exactly what she did!
Michelle is incredibly responsive and solution oriented which I couldn't have appreciated more. My work schedule is pretty crazy so I would often email Michelle between 9pm and 11pm (not expecting her to respond) and she would still manage to respond within minutes. An in-person mock-up meeting with florals/linen options was also really important to me and the night before our meeting, the showroom flooded. Michelle found a way to get everything we needed delivered to the venue that day so we could still have the meeting. I couldn't have been happier that we didn't have to cancel altogether, she made it happen! Her spirit of responsiveness and resourcefulness never wavered throughout our entire year of planning.
Michelle also has incredible connections that I was SO grateful for throughout the planning process. We decided last minute to include a custom envelope liner in our invitation suite (Michelle's great idea) and she was able to find an artist who could turn it around in less than 48hours so our invitations wouldn't be delayed. The liner really made the entire suite pop! I also wanted to add a custom dance floor last minute (I think less than a month before our wedding) and she had that locked in less than 24 hours, incredible!!
I could really go on and on, the day itself was executed flawlessly and I never once worried about how the actual day would unfold because I knew it was in excellent hands with Michelle. I was even bummed a few days post-wedding when I realized I hadn't saved a menu, lo and behold, our bride and groom menus were tucked away safely for us in our day-of items box. She doesn't miss a beat!
We are so grateful for everything Michelle did for us to help create the wedding of our dreams and we couldn't recommend her more!

I brought Michelle into my wedding planning after having my wedding postponed multiple times due to the pandemic. I had lost steam and admittedly a little passion for the wedding planning process because of it all. She helped me find that excitement again. Michelle took over communication with all my vendors and really took responsibility and eased my burden. She helped me make aesthetic decisions that made my wedding so gorgeous and unique to us. She had all the connections and relationships to the other Temecula wedding vendors that you would need as well. Samantha was our coordinator the day of the wedding and she did a fabulous job of making me feel at ease and taken care of that day. She was my right-hand person to make sure everything went smoothly. I truly appreciated her easy-going attitude but at the same time she was making sure everything was perfect. I cannot thank them enough!
Michelle is a true professional inside and out! She helped guide us through our entire planning and design journey offering tips and advice along the way. She has an extensive list of wedding pros at her fingertips. All we had to do was describe what we wanted and Michelle would say “I know the perfect vendor for that”. This was so helpful especially being a gay couple. Finding vendors was a source of stress at the beginning since it felt like we had to come out to them each time was inquired. Michelle designed a beautiful wedding with great vendors. Unfortunately our wedding was 40% over budget, with no regard to costs or suggestions to lower costs. She was out of reach the week of the wedding and many weeks during the process. She increased the stress level of our family. Her timetable for the wedding day was terrible. So great for design, terrible for interpersonal skills.

decisions are ultimately theirs. They are never forced or expected to spend anything they don’t want to. The bride and groom were extremely happy with their wedding day, we parted with hugs, and they sent me a note afterwards saying they had the time of their lives. I wish them the very best!
The best decision we made during the wedding planning process was hiring Michelle and her fantastic team. Because of Michelle, I feel like I actually got to enjoy the wedding planning process with very limited stress or overwhelm. I trust her 100% and am so grateful that I found her to make our vision come to life. Worth every penny and then some; I always tell people this was the best investment I made. Because she has so many connections in the industry, she was constantly getting us hooked up with little “extras” and made booking vendors a breeze. Michelle went above and beyond even from the very beginning when she took us to 5 different venues in 2 days all across SoCal, from LA to SD to Palm Springs, we saw it all! She was there every step of the way to make things fun and easy. The day of the wedding, she was like a magical wedding fairy, seemingly in 3 places at once(maybe because she made sure her staff was always accessible to us), as the day went off without a hitch. Everyone always says that something is going to go wrong on your wedding day so just be ok with it… but NOTHING went wrong on our day, and I believe that’s largely because of Michelle. I cannot say enough about how incredible our experience with Michelle Garibay Events was. Cara was our coordinator and she was a friend, advocate, saver-of-all-things, super-woman coordinator.
We had to post-pone twice due to COVID and Cara was by our side helping us pivot the entire time. She helped us handle our vendors and made sure everyone was kept in the loop.
The wedding execution was flawless and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Cara - you are a complete rockstar and we SO appreciated you making our wedding dreams come true!
I literally should have made this review the night of my wedding. Michelle was an absolute dream come true for me! There aren’t enough words. Michelle was the absolute best decision for us, besides marrying each other. Michelle truly became like family to us through our entire process. We were caught in the Covid wedding mess, and when we were 8 short weeks away from our original wedding date when Covid hit, we had no choice but to postpone our Cabo destination wedding that was fully planned and set to go. She truly was our lifeline during so much uncertainty, movement and rescheduling. After three dates, and over a year later, we finally got to have our beautiful, highly anticipated wedding weekend at The Cape hotel in Cabo San Lucas. None of it would have been possible with her help, without her vision of our dream and her impeccable execution. We would have been truly lost without her and I will never have enough words to express HOW important it is to hire her as your planner. The benefit to a year postponement, was getting to work with her longer. Michelle, we will never have enough words of gratitude and thanks for all you did to make our day come to life. Wow... where do I even begin?! Michelle was our saving grace for our wedding! Let me start off by saying that we were supposed to get married in 2020 but then had to postpone due to COVID. I was devastated and wasn’t sure which route to go. Michelle was super supportive through it all, and we finally decided to set the date for 2021, and we are so happy we ended up having the big wedding of our dreams. Michelle did our vision board, (got my exact dreams and vision on paper) and helped with everything! We even had a detail meeting at a winery! Michelle feels like family when we are all together. She really knows her stuff and will give you the best advice while keeping your vision alive. On the wedding day her and her assistant Caroline did an amazing job. I didn’t even know that we had a cake mishap on the day of, but I found our that Michelle saved the day and remedied the situation and well as other small details. Throughout the night she kept us on track and was totally on top of it. Her assistant Caroline was great as well and she kept us informed on everything and did a great job making sure my dress wasn’t dragging! Where do I even begin? Our dream wedding came to life all because of Michelle. Michelle was professional and punctual, even late hours of the time when it was crunch time. I was amazed how fast she not only responded to my emails but also actioned my requests. Michelle had a professional relationship with other vendors that allowed us to have everything run smoothly. I contacted Michelle during a very stressful point in my wedding planning process. I'm currently on wedding date #4 and may need to move to #5 due to COVID. If I do end up moving to this 5th date, there's a chance I would need to hire a new wedding planner.
I reached out to Michelle on a Sunday and she responded within 10 minutes to set up a phone call later that same day. I was so impressed with her sense of urgency as I'm sure she could tell how stressed I was based on my email.
Michelle is not only an absolute professional, but she is very involved/connected in the industry – she knows her stuff! She is a wonderful listener and empath – I really felt like she understood my situation and offered wonderful suggestions/solutions.

My wedding would not have happened if I had not hired Michelle. We originally planned our 200 person wedding for April 2020 and as you would guess, those plans were forced to change less than 2 weeks in advance. Michelle handled all the communication with vendors to ensure everyone was informed and helped coordinate and secure our postponed date. Be sure to go with MGE for your wedding! We had a summer/fall wedding in Temecula and were required to have a day of coordinator for our venue. I am so thrilled that we heard of MGE and got to work with Cara Goset! Cara is so kind and caring, and made me feel special from the start! From the beginning, she was there for me via text/email whenever I needed help with vendor recommendations, input on decor designs, or had my random bridezilla-like freak-out moments about other vendors and needed advice. Cara was like my wedding therapist at times. The process was so organized - I loved how everything was laid out (ie, forms with deadlines on things I needed to have done) and the online portal was easy to use. Cara created a seamless timeline for the day of and took care of coordinating all the vendors, etc. at our unique/remote venue. I cannot imagine planning a wedding without Cara, she is a complete master! We booked Michelle Garibay over a year in advance of our wedding and Cara supported us throughout the entire planning process. She had honest and helpful advice and she is full of ideas and resources. Our wedding was at Temecula Creek Inn and Cara coordinates with them SEAMLESSLY!! I got so much reassurance knowing that Cara worked so well with them. She helped us replace a vendor when one of them went out of business, she suggested design elements that helped elevate our decor, and importantly she told me what was NOT worth it or not needed. She kept me very grounded.
In addition to being an experienced professional who is highly organized and responsive, she also has a very friendly and relaxed demeanor which was helpful to balance some of my nervousness. She provided reassurance that we were on track throughout our planning. She also got along with all of our family members and helped make them a part of the process as well.
One of the things that I found most touching is that she makes you *feel* like a bride and the most special person. She took a lot of work off our plate so that we could enjoy the days leading up the the wedding. She kept reminding us "You don't have to worry about that, I will take care of it." I may have a Type A personality but I had so much confidence handing everything over to Cara. She really allowed us to enjoy every moment :)

BY FAR THE BEST! Cara was completely professional, very welcoming and supportive from the jump. She doesn't treat you like a job, she treats you (the bride) and your family like gold. Whenever I felt overwhelmed with all the decisions I had to make leading up to the big day, Cara was always the one bringing me back down to earth and helped ease all of my anxiety. To me personally, communication is huge and Cara exceeded my every expectation in that category and so many more. On top of all that, she introduced my groom and I to the most amazingly organized wedding planning website so trust me ladies there's no need to go out and buy any books or planners of your own. She is extremely resourceful when it comes to every vendor you can think of wanting to have at your wedding, too. Don't stress about adventuring up and down the Cali coast finding the perfect one because she gives you a good list for every vendor right off the bat. Cara always had my back during the process and when it came to the big day, anything I needed to ease my nerves she was on top of it. My only regret with Cara is not getting more time to spend with her outside of stressing about the wedding because she's actually a very genuine human being.
If I could give more then 5 stars I would! A huge thank you for CARA! She was Absolutely Perfect and she made are day PERFECT! We first hired MGE, specifically Cara for Day of Coordination. We had the absolute best experience working with Michelle Garibay Events and our coordinator Alex. On top of being so kind and patient, we had a destination wedding and I NEVER felt like she was far away. This is a very late review, but its never too late :).
Cara was our wedding coordinator for our wedding in May 2018 at a brand new private home in Palm Springs (the home had just finished being built and we hadn't even moved in yet). This was a complicated wedding because we had to bring everything in (rentals, food, bar, band, flowers etc.) and had a small space that needed to accommodate A LOT of people.
Throughout the entire process, Cara was unbelievable! She was a rockstar at coordinating with all of our vendors, walking us through the day-of timeline , and ensuring that we felt comfortable and happy about everything that was planned. She even came out to Palm Springs a monthly before the wedding to meet the vendors and my family.
As an anxious couple that was having a wedding at a space where no one had ever had a big event before, we had so many random and crazy questions for her. Cara always made herself available via text or phone and never made us feel crazy or stupid :).
The day was absolutely perfect; everything ran so smoothly, thanks to Cara. I would recommend Cara to literally anyone getting married. She is amazing!!

I never thought I would need a wedding planner until I met Michelle! She was a lifesaver for our wedding! The best decision we made for our Temecula wedding was hiring Alex Fingerlin of Michelle Garibay Events for day-of coordination. If I could give this review infinitely more stars, I definitely would!
From the moment I consulted with Alex about what I needed - day of coordination - I could feel my stress level immediately go down. After I hung up the phone with her, I immediately called my fiancé and told him we just had to book her.
Even though we hired her for just “day of”, Alex went above and beyond every step of the way. Before taking over all coordination 60 days out, Alex did a couple vendor meetings with us and helped us every step of the way. She had connections with a lot of vendors and helped us navigate the process to ensure our wedding dreams became a reality.
The wedding day went off without any problems because of Alex’s incredible hard work and professionalism. She made our vision come alive and ensured everything was perfect!
Best decision ever to hire Cara Goset at Michelle Garibay Events! Michelle Garibay Events offered the perfect coordination package for me. I loved that the Day of Coordination package actually began 60 days prior to the event. One phone call with Cara and I knew I wanted to hire her. Next step was to convince my now husband that we should hire her. That may not sound great that I had to convince him but the problem is that before our wedding, my husband had no clue how much work goes into planning a wedding and making sure that day actually runs smoothly as planned. He didn’t quite understand the need for a coordinator (obviously, he didn’t do much of the wedding planning). He FOR SURE now understands just how lucky we were to have Cara. We were both amazed with how seamless our day went, we never felt stressed or rushed and we were even ahead of schedule!
They also have a great website tool that I absolutely love. This tool has pretty much everything you need to plan your wedding but some of my favorite things about it was: the BEST wedding checklist ever, a great way to track your vendors (contacts, payments, contracts, etc), and the guest list manager + seating chart! So easy to use and it really kept me organized. Even with all these fancy planning tools, Cara was so quick to respond to my emails and texts. I never had to worry about anything, I knew Cara was on top of it. She is super organized, confident, and instantly puts you at ease. I would recommend Cara and Michelle Garibay Events to anyone!
Michelle is the absolute BEST. If you are getting married in Temecula like I did (OR anywhere else) you are missing out if you have not hired Michelle yet. She knows EVERYONE and because of her amazing connections with vendors we not only saved a lot of money but we ended up with the most beautiful decor and the most talented vendor team all thanks to Michelle. MGE and Katie Dixon came into our lives about 60 days out from our wedding, and it was THE BEST blessing my husband and I could have asked for. I hire a lot of vendors and deal with events and logistics for a living, so I was apprehensive about finding someone who would get my type-A craziness and wedding vision, but Katie was a seamless fit from the beginning. Katie is organized, insightful, positive and supportive. Most importantly she hit the ground running alongside us and we became a team of three that worked wonderfully together. We had an AMAZING wedding – due mostly to Katie. From the look to the feeling to the special moments that made it truly ours, Katie helped guide us to that point and provided insight and support in a way that kept the last somewhat stressful days to the wedding light and breezy.
As a communicator for a living, typically having a response for everything, I am finding it hard to express how much her contributions impacted our special day. There just aren’t words to describe how her genuine investment in us and our day and how that translated to relieving our stress and allowing us to soak in every moment on wedding day. This is so important when looking to add a coordinator to your team as it's your and your guests' feelings you'll remember over the little details. We had complete trust and faith in her leadership and we can’t thank her enough. “Thank you” just doesn’t seem sufficient. Katie will always have a special place in our hearts!
My advice to any bride-to-be reading this is to run, don't walk to MGE. They are a true partner with your best interest at heart, have extraordinary experience and insight on events, and have warm hearts that contribute to the overall execution of the event. I had the most amazing experience working with Michelle Garibay. Cara was our planner and did a great a job helping with the planning of our day. They offer different packages and that worked best for me. I was able to find something that was gonna fit the needs for me and my husband and my family. I first spoke with Michelle after seeing her featured in an article in Exquisite Weddings San Diego. The article was about why it is important to hire a wedding planner. In addition to our wedding in Italy, Michelle helped plan a US reception for 150 guests in San Diego (basically a second wedding). There is a reason that everyone knows her name, sings her praises and compliments her sterling reputation. You don't become a top 50 wedding planner in CA without all those qualities and more! She knows the best vendors and contacts. The caliber and quality of any person/company she recommends will exceed your expectations.
For both my wedding and US reception Michelle's planning and day of coordination were impeccable. Her meticulous organizational skills, attention to detail and calming presence allowed me to focus on enjoying the moment and have a stress free day. She was as kind to my family and guests as she was to me. At the end of your journey together you will feel as if she is part of your family and you'll want to say in touch forever.

There are no words to describe how amazing Cara is and how much my family and I appreciated her being apart of our special day. I hired Cara when I was about 5 months out from my wedding. I was super stressed since my venue came with a coordinator but had very high turn over. From the moment I spoke to Cara on the phone she put me at ease. I wanted someone reliable and consistent but what I got was a wedding fairy godmother!! Cara went above and beyond from every phone call, email, and text. Well, what can I say......Destination Weddings For The Win. Thanks to Michelle for planning our dream day! My husband and I got married in Hawaii on the island of Oahu on 19th August 2018 and we used the services of Michelle Garibay Events (MGE). Let me tell you, this lady is worth her weight in gold! First of all, we read a lot of reviews across the internet regarding whether or not to have a wedding planner at all. Many thought it could easily be done without as I am a project planner by trade. I’m sure it could be done, but as we were venturing overseas we didn’t want to take any chances. Michelle had many many contacts with local vendors and if something was out of our price range she would either negotiate or look elsewhere. As Michelle owns MGE, it is an extremely personalised service and excellent value for money. She doesn’t like to sell a package deal, but rather tailors the wedding to the needs of the client. We had two skype calls leading up to the big day and every email I sent was answered in a timely manner. Even if she didn’t have the answer there and then, she would sent me a quick message to ensure me that she was working on it. I never felt as though I was bothering her and it was hard to believe that she was busy working on numerous other weddings.Michelle absolutely loves her job, you can tell she enjoys planning all those little details and loves every minute of the big day coming together. She never takes the easy option when creating a theme for the wedding, she took all my ideas and incorporated them into our day. Michelle knew exactly what I wanted the wedding to look like and my gosh, it was the most amazing wedding!! My husband, myself and all our guests said they’d never seen anything so amazing. We were married in a beautiful oceanside private estate in the soth west shore of the island. Our wedding celebration was truly like something out of a fairytale. It was exactly how I wanted it to be. Throughout the day, Michelle stayed behind the scenes but always near in case of any questions or problems. She was busy coordinating music, food, photography etc. to ensure a seamless day. Michelle is extremely professional, courteous, organised with an excellent sense of humour. She made our wedding the most magical day of our lives. If anyone is planning on getting married (I believe she travels all over the world to co-ordinate weddings) you will not go wrong with hiring Michelle. She was such a dream to work with. Wow! I am not even sure where to begin. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Alex! She is truly one of the kindest, most creative, most amazing people I have ever met. When we originally booked our wedding venue, we had a day of coordinator and I assumed that was all I would really be needing. I'm super organized and detailed oriented but as the wedding got closer I was very anxious about someone styling our wedding and tying up all the loose ends. After we hired Alex she was there every step of the way throughout the planning process. Any question I had for a vendor or rental company, etc. she was on it. She spoke directly to each vendor and I didn't have to get stressed out about handling wedding details. As the day got closer Alex put together an entire timeline based on the recommendations from the vendors as well. She styled our entire wedding perfectly and helps to make every detail exactly what I envisioned. With Michelle Garibay Events each bride gets an aisle planner which is truly your wedding bible. Every bit of info goes through there and Alex would check it with me weekly to see what had changed or been added. If there is any advice I could give to a bride who is contemplating if you need a wedding coordinator or not the answer is ABSOLUTELY! Alex was so much more than just a coordinator for us. She made that day what it was. She is directly the person there for you and your groom. No venue coordinator is going to do even a fourth of what Alex did for us. I truly cannot say enough good things about Alex and the entire Michelle Garibay team. They are some of the most positive, professional, and talented people I have ever met and my husband and I were so truly blessed to have them be a part of our day!
We could not have been luckier to find Cara Goset with Michelle Garibay Events. Cara went over and above when it came to bringing all the little details of our day together. Whether it was finding vendors, picking up rentals, or calming our nerves she did it all with a smile and a TRUE willingness to help make our day seamless. Even our wedding party was impressed with how calm, cool, collected, and SWEET Cara was, is. We would highly recommend Cara and Michelle Garibay Events!
Tiana from Michelle Garibay was our event planner and we could have never done it without her - she was a delight! Given we did the majority of our planning remotely, we felt so much comfort knowing that she was there to keep it all organized, bring in exceptional vendors and even accept a couple of packages for us. Tiana Loyd was our coordinator and I could not have been more blessed to have her!! Tiana exceeded our expectations! Our wedding was in Palm Springs, CA and both my husband and I live in Oregon. I was so nervous about having a destination wedding but Tiana's attention to detail and her impeccable organization made the process very easy! Tiana was so incredibly patient, kind, and professional from start to finish. The entire day was perfect and I attribute that to Tiana and Michelle Garibay events! Cara Goset of Michelle Garibay Events was our day of coordinator for our wedding at Galway Downs in Temecula, CA. From our first phone meeting with eachother, I knew that I wanted to work with Cara and company and when we finally met and had our in person meeting it was definitely a match made in heaven!
They have a great website tool that kept me on track with my planning. I really enjoyed the website because it made working on my guest list SO much easier. It also helped me keep track of my vendor invoices among other things. Throughout the entire time that I had been planning my wedding Cara was always only minutes away. I never had to wait more than a couple hours to get a response from her via email and when we started communciating via phone she was even easier to speak with.
Cara is super detail oriented and professional. I was a bride who wanted to make all my decisions and just needed someone to execute them on the day of. What I loved about Cara is that she never tried to change my mind about the choices that I made. If there was something that she felt like could work another way she suggested it but never expected me to do it. (But of course I did because her way was way better) She took my vision and went with it and I appreciate her so much for that. Her and her assistant Katie made sure that everyone was on schedule and of course kept everyone in line. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and I couldn't have been more happy.
I highly recommend Michelle Garibay events if you want a seamless and stress free day!

Michelle Garibay was our day of coordinator/manager for our wedding at Temecula Creek Inn (Stone House). Our first meeting together, I knew she was my gal for my wedding. She is very organized and knows more about the wedding industry than I ever knew existed. She has an amazing website tool that keeps you on track with your planning, guest list, budgeting, paying invoices- everything you possibly need. Throughout the entire year of my planning, Michelle was there for me within minutes of me emailing her. She has a really good eye and helped me with decor/furniture, centerpieces / place cards, ideas and all my vendors. She really helped my envision of my day come together with all her knowledge and advice. Michelle is very professional and has worked in this industry for a while; she is well respected and holds a strong networking circle so any vendor she recommends is top line like herself. Our wedding day went off without a hitch Thanks to Michelle and her assistant Shea. (I have the sweetest photo of Shea helping our 1 year old son while he's getting announced because his cousins left him in the dust). They were both on it from set up, to keeping us on track with our timeline (I didn't realize how important that is), to breakdown. Michelle was my coordinator for my wedding at Callaway Vineyard and Winery this past September. She was very helpful with ideas or questions I had leading up to the wedding, VERY responsive, and the execution on the day of my wedding was fantastic. Now that I have gone through the wedding planning process, I realize how important it is to hire a coordinator who knows what they are doing. We had some issues at the venue with food service being delayed (which can mess up your wedding timeline) and Michelle was right on top of it. She also worked with Sterling Productions to pick out all my lighting colors and they could not have been more perfect! Loved how the room looked thanks to her great taste. I highly recommend her to other brides out there! Her assistant coordinator Tiana was really great as well. Thanks Michelle Garibay Events!
Hiring Michelle as our wedding planner was hands down, the best decision we made throughout the wedding planning process. She handled the hard work so my husband and I could actually enjoy planning our wedding. Michelle has the best contacts and relationships with every vendor you will need and every single vendor she recommended was top notch. In addition to Michelle’s excellent organization and vendor relationships, she also has an incredible eye for details while also being mindful of budgets. Michelle made design recommendations that would fit within our budget and that made all of the difference when it came to the overall aesthetic of the day. But what I like most about Michelle was her honesty! While she was always mindful of our budget, Michelle made sure we were aware of areas that she thought would need a little something extra…she’s been doing this for so long, she knows if something might look wrong and got in front of it so that we wouldn’t be upset the day of – this attribute is priceless in my opinion. Lastly, Michelle’s day of coordination was flawless…I didn’t stress about a single thing because I knew Michelle would make sure everything would go exactly as planned (and she did). Thank you Michelle for helping make our day so beautiful, special, stress free and fun!
