Most of all, he did a great job with the music and keeping the dance floor occupied. All of my guests had a great time and mentioned how they loved what a great job Calbert did. ed out to Mike after A LOT of thought was put into the music for our wedding, and not only did he execute to perfection, but was EXCITED to tell the story with us! Our venue coordinator also said that he was one of the most communicative DJs she's ever worked with, and I can't tell you how much my husband and I appreciate his work. He looked for our cues, could read the crowd when it came to dancing, and continued to check in with us all night long! He was so fantastic, and I only wish we could get married AGAIN so we can hire him again!

to change our wedding venue the day of our wedding due to rain and Mike went above and beyond to get everything set up at our new venue. You can tell he is very experienced by the way he lead the wedding night and the recommendations he gave us. We gave him a few genres and artists we liked and he did not disappoint. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else besides Midnight Mike!

he technology involved worked flawlessly. He mic’d our officiant and the volume and clarity was really nice, which was especially important for our livestream we had (just covid things). However, we did have some issues. In our meeting about a week before our wedding we discussed details for first dance, parent dance, last song, exit song ect. But when the wedding came, I was disappointed in Mike’s follow through of the plans. The biggest upset of our day came at the end of our evening. After our last dance, Mike did not announce or organize the crowd for our exit that we had planned. The music just stopped, and frankly every guest that I talked to about it thought it was an awkward way to end the night. No good evening announcement, no “hey hey hey goodbye”, nothing. And when I called Mike a few days after the he was apologetic, but I still feel disappointed we didn’t have the exit we planned for our otherwise perfect day. Some other smaller details, that aren’t a big deal but I think other brides would want to know... My husband and I had a choreographed first dance and we told Mike this, and that he should play the whole song. Cut to the day of, right before our dance, he asked again if he should play the whole song... slightly annoying but it all worked out. However, we did discuss fading the parent dances around the two minute mark and he didn’t do that. Again not a huge deal, but not what we planned. We also spent basically a whole year adding songs to a Spotify playlist. These were all songs that we love, that make us want to dance, and were songs that we knew our guests really enjoyed too. While this was not an exclusive list it did have about 5 hours worth of music that Mike could have used during cocktail hour, dinner, and of course dancing. Then the day of, I felt like he was not using the playlist at all. He said in our post-call he had it opened the whole night but I definitely heard many unfamiliar songs. Don’t get me wrong, the song he played were fine and our guests seemed to enjoy it. However, I knew better and was not 100% satisfied. I do think based on prior reviews and recommendations that this was probably just an off night for Mike. But reviews aren’t about excuses, they are about experiences and ours was lackluster. Overall, it felt like Mike lacked the energy and attention to detail that was needed to provide an excellent service.

on't even get me started on the party that he brought...3 days after our wedding and we are still sore from dancing so much! It was just amazing! 100/10 would recommend!

he knows what he's doing! After talking with Mike we felt completely comfortable leaving all of the music selections for our reception up to him and we were not disappointed! We had guests of all ages and he kept everyone on the dance floor all night! We even had an extended reception and people were dancing until the very end! Not only is Mike a great DJ, but he also did an amazing job emceeing our event, keeping everything moving and hyping up our guests. He also provided the uplighting for our large ballroom and it transformed the room so elegantly! He kept eyes on me and my husband all night making sure that we were having a blast and it was great knowing he was looking out for us. While we only worked with Mike, we have heard great things about his partner Alex too. Hire Midnight Mike, you won't be disappointed!

wd. The only complaint we had from our guests was that he played such good music they could never sit a dance out! He also went above and beyond and helped us out with some venue issues during the middle of the reception! He was definitely more than just a DJ, and I would highly recommend him for any party!!

p before the wedding, and even the day of. He was on point, prepared, and ready to make the night a blast. The uplights he set up were amazing, the sound quality was perfect, he had everyone on the dance floor almost the entire night, and he helped coordinate everything from the walk-out to the garter/bouquet toss really well.
