I absolutely cannot say enough about Noel at Midwest Best DJs! My expectations were exceeded in every way and he was the life of our party. Three words to describe our wedding, BEST. NIGHT. EVER. Lindsey and Hector made our night a dream come true. We had countless guests approach us with how much they loved our DJ. We hired Hector as our DJ for our wedding this past weekend and he CRUSHED IT! Such a professional, I hope I have another event some day for him. His portal made the planning process super easy and cover all of the important parts of the night in detail. Hector and Lindsey both were super responsive and helped us stay on track. They were flexible with our music requests and even helped make small edits to our songs, like our first dance song. The sounds system was perfect for our venue. I've been at some where the speakers are set up poorly and not everyone can hear toasts, but not with this group. Everyone could hear perfectly. The uplighting was awesome too, I'm really happy we went with it. I appreciate that he was able to link to our spotify and play our playlist, but also took over with his own choices to based on the crowd. Overall, can't say enough good things about our experience with him and his team.

Hector and Lindsey did such an amazing job. From day one they were great with communication and answering any questions we had. They. Helped coordinate with other vendors, they brought an amazing Photo Booth, and did the best job keeping the energy high with the music they played. I can’t even begin to express how amazing Hector & his team are. For starters, they have phenomenal communication and planning systems to make sure everything is laid out and planned from beginning to end. During our final zoom call, Hector asked if we wanted him to follow our playlist entirely, or let him “feel” the crowd and to use his best judgement for the music. I gave him creative freedom for the dance floor music and IM SO HAPPY I DID. One of the things I heard from my guests the most about our wedding was how AMAZING the dj and dance floor was, which is exactly what I wanted for everyone. One of the things that stood out to me the most about Hector was his kindness and genuine passion for what he does. He went above and beyond his roles as a DJ- checking on us to make sure we had drinks in our hand, that we had a fan on us when it was hot, and he even stepped in to carry one of our banner’s inside to the reception when another vendor moved it to the wrong place. I’m so happy with the turnout of our wedding and I credit a huge part of that to Hector & Lindsey. Thank you MWBDJ’s for giving us the wedding our dreams and for treating us like royalty from beginning to end. We are so grateful, and are excited to use them again for any event we have in our family going forward.

DJ Hector was amazing! He truly kept everyone at our wedding dancing all night long, and he read the room to decide what songs to play next! Highly recommend them! Hector and Lindsey were phenomenal!! Prior to booking Midwest Best DJs, we heard so many recommendations for Hector. He is definitely worth all of the hype and then some!! Hector and Lindsey accommodated all of our oftentimes out there ideas and requests, they truly made our wedding the best day ever and went above and beyond for us. My husband and I have polar opposite music tastes and Hector was able to blend them together seamlessly. He asked what kind of wedding I wanted to have and for me I wanted it to be a party where people don’t want to leave the dance floor and that is exactly what I got! He was perfect, he knew when songs where not bring the energy that we wanted he changed them and brought it back up. He truly DJ our wedding and didn’t just put in some playlist and let it play.

oel was absolutely amazing. He made everything very easy for me. He listened to the music I wanted, when I wanted it and played a great variety. We had Spanish and pop/dance music. We have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Hector, Lindsey & Midwest Best DJs! The entire planning process was organized and extremely easy from the beginning. They have a great website to help you choose music - very easy to search songs and also to see the top 150 requested songs. Hector was a great guide for us in areas where we weren't sure. When you go on their website, you will see that there is a bit of an upcharge for Hector (and he is totally worth it by the way!) but after working with Hector and Lindsey (owners), I have no doubt that their other DJs would do an excellent job as well. You can tell that they are really tuned into their clients and that they would only hire people who would execute in the high standard they have established for their company. Midwest Best Djs were absolutely amazing! From the second we hired them they were nothing but helpful. They are so communicative! They responded so quickly to any questions, changes, ir concerns we had. Our dance floor was only empty during dinner! Our guests were so impressed and had so much fun. The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Midwest Best DJs as our DJ. They make it so easy from the beginning by providing a portal to enter timeline / detail / song information and even song suggestions. The email reminders from 30, 60, 90 days out are very helpful as well. They dress and handle themselves very professionally while being very knowledgeable and trustworthy. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour / dinner, to the reception - everything was perfect from start to finish. They absolutely killed it!! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how awesome they were and I can’t thank them enough! The energy was unreal. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and will forever be grateful for them making the planning process so simple and stress free. P.S. - you have to get the package with uplighting - it really transforms the entire space especially for the dance floor.

Jakub was our DJ for our wedding and was PHENOMENAL! Great control, music was on point and he rolled with our last minute changes as they came up. Overall great experience and we’re truly thankful to him and Midwest Best for their great service.

The music was excellent – exactly what we wanted! DJ played songs we specified and included some others that we hadn’t thought of that were totally in line with the genres we focused on. The dance floor was full all night, would definitely recommend to others and would work with again!

We could not have possibly had a better experience with Midwest Best DJ's. From the first time we met our DJ, Hector, we knew that he wanted this day to be exactly what was right for us. We had several meetings with Hector to discuss everything from reception music, walkouts, cocktail hour, dinner, and much more. He gave us free range to request any songs we wanted, didn't want, and even allowed us to create a playlist and send to him to use. For the cocktail hour and dinner, we had no idea what type of music to use, but Hector sent us several examples of what to use. Not only was he a phenomenal DJ, was MC'd the entire night wonderfully. Everything was announced on time, correctly, and gave us all of his energy! Our wedding was truly made better from having Hector as our DJ and we can't wait to recommend Hector to everyone we know getting married.

Hector and Lindsey are an amazing team. They both were extremely professional and friendly throughout the entire planning process for our wedding. Hector was the DJ for our wedding on August 30, 2020 at the Morton Arboretum and was OUTSTANDING. During one of our first conversations, Hector offered to mix five songs of our choosing for us to hear prior to us finalizing the contract. There was no other DJ we spoke with that offered to do this. Throughout the entire process, Hector was quick to respond, kind, informative, reliable, and adaptable. Amazing DJ energy and voice but not in an “over the top” or cheesy way. Aside from reading the crowd and playing the perfect music, the uplighting was exactly what I wanted and looked stunning! After our wedding, we received so many compliments on the DJ and cannot recommend Hector enough!!! You will not be disappointed!

Hector was absolutely incredible. I would and will reccomend him 100% to any couple looking for a fun and reliable DJ. All the way from the initial planning to the wedding day, we felt we were in great hands with Hector as our DJ. He met with us and we discussed our wants/needs for the wedding day and sent us a wonderful planning website for putting our song lists together. He even came out to the venue the week of the wedding with us to ensure he knew where to set up. My husband and I just got married last Saturday, July 11th, at the Monte Bello Estate in Lemont, IL. We were originally supposed to have our ceremony at a church in Lemont so we did not think we needed his services for that. However, one week before our wedding, our church informed us that everyone would have to wear a face mask during the ceremony (including my new husband and I). We were devastated and scrambled to put together a new ceremony outside at our venue instead. Hector did an amazing job accommodating our new changes at the last minute and even set up a generator for us, that we rented, in order to have our ceremony in the woods. The ceremony turned out beautiful and the great service didn't stop there. The reception was a BLAST - people were dancing and having a great time all night and his light show was so much fun. He really knew what music to play to get people out on the dance floor and get them to stay there too! Even amongst all the worry and stress of having a wedding during a pandemic, we had such an amazing time and definitely have Hector to thank for that!

Hector made my ceremony and reception absolutely perfect. He kept the energy high and was SO easy to work with! He made things extremely easy leading up to my day to pick out special songs and to create a phenomenal playlist for the reception.
