They were both very energetic leading some dances and followed our must play song list very well. If you get the chance make sure you request Nick he is so kind and in general just so fun to be around.

I wish we would have. - On the day of the wedding, after the ceremony, AJ got in our receiving line in order to remind us about our remaining balance. He did this after already informing our day of coordinator who told him she would find someone to take care of it. She SPECIFICALLY asked him not to bother us with it right now. It really blows my mind that he thought getting in our receiving line would be the appropriate way to inform us of this. - When he set up his equipment he set up his table directly in front of the table that had our cake on it and took up almost a third of our dance floor. We were hoping to take cake cutting photos at this table. When approached by our day of coordinator, our venue coordinator, and my mother all asking him to move he refused. He came up with excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't move his equipment. Each excuse he came up with our team offered an alternative solution to which he would just come up with another excuse. He ended up refusing to move his equipment. - He was dressed very unprofessionally (baggy clothes, wore sunglasses through all of cocktail hour and dinner). - He frequently left the DJ table unattended throughout the night. - Most songs were ended abruptly about 4-5 seconds before the song was actually over. It made for very awkward silence between songs. - We contracted a DJ to play music until 10:30pm. At 10:15pm he stopped playing music mid song while about 10 people were still on the dance floor. While initially working with midwest sound was pleasant (friendly staff, quick response time, etc.) when it came time for them to put the money where their mouth was, they failed miserably!

The groom, my son, & husband at different times went up to Millie and asked him to turn the music down and my daughter asked him to stick to her music and focus on the oldies as we were having several guest leave because of the raunchy and extremely loud music he was playing. He NEVER turned the music down or played my daughters music even being asked over and over to do so. My husband and I never danced at our daughters wedding nor did my daughter have a dance with her grandfather. I emailed Midwest Sound and a few days later "Chad" the owner called me back. I told him what happened and he told me he and his wife popped in there at different times and saw people dancing, even the bride and pretty much disregarded everything I told him. Bottom line, when you're being paid to do a service you do what the customer has paid you to do! We will never get this day back and Chad could care less!!! I do NOT recommend this company. VERY disappointed!

started no requested songs were played that didn’t fit his style, not even when requested from the bride and myself. Than we find out that both of the owners were snooping around at the wedding with out even letting us know and that they seam to have saw what they thought was good. Any complaints we shared with them were disregarded. Bad experience was one thing but the owners followed up and helped make it worse. I would never recommend this company.

The day of the wedding Joe was super helpful and really got the dance floor going the whole night. You could tell he cared about putting on a great event! We spoke with our DJ, Dan, about a week before the wedding day to confirm the details which was a great way to finalize the details and get to know him! and Dan did such an amazing job! We had some incidents that could have really thrown off the timeline and mood of the night, but he smoothly MC'd things back to order and kept the good vibes going. We also had some more obscure (and maybe questionable) music requests, and he managed to sneak them in and blend them in a way that didn't totally offend everyone. We had such a fun night, and I cannot recommend these guys enough. Besides just being a really fun guy, Dan is an awesome DJ and really knows how to read the room and get the party going. One million stars. Definitely book with them!

It got to the point where my husband asked to plug his phone in because not only were he and the 2nd DJ training with him not able to find the songs, the party was just slowly dying and the music they were playing was ruining the vibe. During our consult we were told if they didn’t have the songs we wanted, they’d find them. I don’t think that happened :(

Shortly before the wedding day, our DJ (Dan) ran through our wedding schedule again and he relayed back the essential songs we wanted. At the wedding, Dan played all the essential songs but not quite all the songs we absolutely wanted. Regardless, he rocked the house down! We only had 29 folks at our wedding but felt like we had 50 because of how well he managed the reception. He wasn't overbearing but did enough to keep the energy flowing and made it a memorable wedding that we will never forget. Thank you Midwest Sound for making our day so special and would highly recommend others to use them for their own wedding!

The dj we had was Brandon B and he was outstanding to work with. He went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. From coordinating with the photographer, to the ceremony and reception and always checking in with us throughout the night to see if there was anything that we would want differently or anything that we needed. Brandon made sure the music was bumping and everyone was dancing and having a good time. I wish I could give them a 100+ star rating. Although we had some technical difficulties with the equipment at first, Gary was incredibly determined to fix the issue as soon as possible. There was even another Midwest Sound DJ employee that quickly came out to the venue to ensure that all equipment was working properly. The company's commitment to customer service & professionalism was very apparent to how they handled this situation. The rest of the night went according to plan & our guests had a great time on the dance floor. Thank you for doing everything you could to make our night what we hoped it would be!

missed our ushers in the grand March, forgot about the groom speech, constantly asked us questions he ALREADY KNEW. Played baby shark for the 5 kids at our wedding, definitely didn’t need that played... missed all the songs on our must played list and went straight to grinding music instead. Extremely disappointed. The only thing that went wrong. Wouldn’t recommend.

Due to us not being able to have our reception in March of 2020, we had to reschedule and though we had to reschedule basically 3 times, Midwest sound was beyond flexible. Also they do truly cater to anything you need to have the best day of your lives, from making the playlist to writing in creative ideas. Our DJ, Micheal was so much fun, he had everyone on the floor, awesome announcements, and also always being in full communication with Evan and I throughout the night. He was very polite and you could tell he is truly passionate about his career. We truly did have “the time of our life” we can’t thank Midwest Sound enough, for their professionalism, fun, and overall love they provided to us. If your looking for a very communicated company and wanting to fully custom your day, look no further.... Thank you Midwest Sound! Oh and also they do a super fun photobooth offer!! Our guy Justin was a blast! He was so easy to work with, and help our guests out easily and also filing the awesome book of photo keepsakes for us and having our guests write fun things. We truly appreciated all the hard work he did for us. Our guests enjoyed the phot booth so much, and said it’s an awesome keepsake to have of the photos and memories made. Trust me, get a photobooth for your wedding- you won’t regret it one bit!
