Getting our wedding video was important to us because we wanted to be able to capture the emotion and inflection behind our words and actions. There are some things that photos just can't express. It means so much to us that we will be able to look back and view the moment we shared our vows to each other privately. We would (and already have been!) recommend Mike Staff Productions! From the beginning, the entire team was extremely supportive and communicative. There wasn't a single question that wasn't thoroughly answered. If there was something that we thought was "asking too much" or not possible, our team found a way to make it happen. I couldn't be more happy with the memories that our team captured from our day.

During the chaos of your wedding day, you tend to miss some of the little things that took place or you don’t remember exactly how they happened. Having a wedding video will help the two of us relive one of the best days of our lives and allow us to share these special moments with our future kids, like our vows and the beautiful wedding speeches. Mike Staff was recommended to us by some close friends and we couldn’t have been happier! The ease of having your photography, videography and DJ all in one made it a lot less stressful on us. When I had a wedding day dress snafu, Greg was right there offering assistance, even came prepared with an emergency sewing kit. Our videographer, Daniel, equally as awesome. We had a blast taking our pictures and videos. We had Alex for our fabulous DJ and he kept the party going and the dance floor packed all night. We spoke directly to the team on different occasions before the wedding and they took care to make sure every fine detail was handled. The biggest thank you to Mike Staff! We hired Mike Staff Productions to videotape our wedding day last fall, and aside from the venue itself, the Mike Staff Productions videographers were by far the best investment we made that day! We selected the option of having two videographers, since my husband and I were going to be getting ready in two separate homes; this way, a videographer was able to cover each household, capturing sentimental moments of my family, closest friends, and me at my family’s home, and my husband with his parents and extended family at his Airbnb. They also recorded footage of us taking photos at our venue (Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, MI) before the ceremony, which was so great to have; those clips show all of our emotions, interactions with each other and our families, and excitement on that day in a way photos alone can’t capture! Both videographers were extremely professional, kind, and easy-going, and at both our homes and the venue, they weaved their way seamlessly into our day and captured all of the big and small moments without us even really noticing they were there! During the ceremony, the videographers stationed themselves at different locations so they could film the wedding from various directions. Their final videotapes, both the short film and full film, were outstanding! Their coverage of the day was thorough and beautiful, and the background music they used for the Mini Movie video was perfect! We were especially impressed with the Director of Videography – Jason Chevatewa – he was very responsive with various questions and edit requests during the months following our wedding, and was very patient and accommodating as we provided editing responses while trying to navigate major life events following the wedding such as deployments, new jobs, and pregnancy. He consistently provided beautiful, updated videos for our review. Without any reservation, we absolutely and highly recommend Mike Staff Productions’ videography team to anyone looking for a top-notch videographer for their event! In fact, we plan on hiring them again in a few years for the next wedding in our family!

Mike Staff was excellent to work with and very responsive throughout the process. We used them for our videography services and loved how the films turned out. Sylvester was our videographer and he was great to work with! He made everyone feel comfortable and came up with a lot of creative ideas that reflected well within our video.

Mike Staff was great to work with from our very first call through our big day. We used them for our videography services and couldn't be happier with the two films. Thank you to Stu (our videographer) and the team for helping us capture the memories we will have forever!

Payment was efficient and I was able to easily make online payments and see my balances at all times. It's so nice to be able to tip in the portal too, because I ended up forgetting my cash envelopes in the whirl of the wedding day and really wanted to tip them for how amazing they did. When I went to my two-week meeting with the venue, the manager already knew I hired Mike Staff because she said they were the only company who sends her notices about the impending services they were going to provide and for who, which I thought was extremely impressive. Jenny L. (photographer) and Phil (DJ) were punctual in contacting us before the wedding, and Mike Staff sent occasional reminders that this would occur so we weren't caught by surprise. Jenny and secondary photographer Priyanka were so wonderful to work with. My husband and I have never had professional photos taken before, and even on our own we're always forgetting to take photos of ourselves and our lives. Jenny (who I primarily worked with so I will mention her specifically) was calm, fun, and so efficient. She knew exactly what she was doing, gave great advice, and helped my husband and I with poses and directed us, which was exactly what I asked for, given our inexperience. She took charge because I requested her to, and I was absolutely blown away at how quickly she finished many family photos I had scheduled to take place in a short period of time. Overall, I knew wedding days needed a lot of time cushion so I accounted for it, but Jenny was so efficient she gave us even more time than I originally cushioned for! Everyone was impressed by her knowledge and ease of directing people and overall, I am SO grateful we had this amazing professional take care of us on our wedding day! Phil was also amazing. He had a lot of tips to relate from his vast experience as a wedding DJ, and it was clear he was enthusiastic about DJing weddings and music in general from our conversation on the phone. He asked for specifics where needed, and he managed to smoothly transition some songs I wanted for ceremony, despite our officiant messing it all up. Phil played it by ear and played the music I requested as best as he could with the mess-up, and I really appreciated it. Maybe it's generally known or standard for DJs to have good-sounding equipment but I just wanted to mention that Phil DID have very good quality speakers, the music was crystal clear and could be easily heard and projected well without being too loud and grating. We requested just fun, upbeat popular songs to dance to at the reception, particularly maybe 2015 or before (since we haven't really listened to recent music) and he obliged easily. He got everyone on the dance floor with ease from the beginning, and many of us are not very young anymore, so we had to step off the dancefloor after the initial energetic rush but we LOVED all the music and fun going on. He of course threw in a few popular slow-dancing songs as well, and overall everything was perfectly balanced. He was calm and helpful, and his emcee style was just the right amount of laid back and fun (some weddings I see DJs trying really hard to get people hyped up and screaming and it's exhausting to us, so Phil was just the right DJ for us). One of my guests commented to me after how amazing a DJ he was, and when his daughters get married he'll ask me for who DJed my wedding :) We received our sneak peak and full gallery technically even earlier than promised. Mike Staff is so efficient, professional, and experienced, we were blown away. Our photos came out amazing, and I'm grateful Jenny and Priyanka were able to photograph two unphotogenic and awkward people and display us beautifully and capture all our moments. Overall, my husband and I felt well taken care of on our wedding day and we highly recommend them!

The Mike Staff crew was INCREDIBLE our entire night. Even before the wedding, Dennis, Lauren, Daniel, and Kevin all took time to coordinate phone calls so they could review each detail of our big day. Everyone worked hard to achieve the things we talked about, and our photos and videos turned out amazing. Kevin played all the songs that were important to us as well as fun dance songs. The dancing was my favorite part of our entire night! Josh did our uplighting and he made the space look even more beautiful. We highly recommend Mike Staff, specifically their team approach since they all coordinated with one another to ensure our big day went as smoothly as possible.

We used Mike Staff Productions for both videographer and DJ. Both were amazing. Our DJ Brad stuck to our do not playlist and played lots a great music that got people up and dancing. Sylvester was our videographer and he was very easy to get along with and made sure he was every where he needed to be to get all the shots. We recently got our video back and we are so grateful to be able to have the mini video and documentary of our full ceremony, first look, and all the special parts of our reception. We had James as our DJ and he was amazing! He was friendly, funny, got everyone's names right, stuck to my music list, and did his best to keep the dance floor going! I cant remember the name of our videographer (I think Nick) but I was so so grateful to have him there catching the behind the scenes of the day. He was respectful of the girls in the bridal suite and worked well with our photographer (not from Mike staff). I had a great experience with the people Mike Staff provided and they were professional as well!

We were recommended to use Mike Staff by my sister after they did a great job at her wedding. You are able to hire services for photography, videography, and a DJ. This makes it so easy to package these services up so you don’t have to have more vendors to be responsible for. We ended up hiring a videographer named Jake and a DJ named DJ Kevin J. Video: I wasn’t so sure about hiring a videographer at all, thinking I wouldn’t actually watch the footage back but I was wrong. I LOVE being able to relive this day over and over again. Jake did such a great job of making us feel comfortable and not like there was a giant camera in our faces the whole day. He was very friendly and relatable. Jake went over things we wanted video of and made sure to record those things and more! We were sent a short video (about 10 minutes) of our wedding and a long version of the wedding video (about an hour and a half), both were great! Overall, Mike Staff is an awesome company to hire for your wedding. You are able to “shop around” within the company and pick the person that best fits what you need. Jake and DJ Kevin J were our top picks for our wedding because their interests and style blended best with us. I have already recommended Mike Staff to many of my friends who are getting married in the next few years and I will continue to recommend them!

Where do I even start?! Mike Staff Productions was amazing! They made it so easy to get all our most important services. Our videographer, Dylan, was great! He really took the time to get to know what moments were important to us, and captured those moments. Looking back, I am SO grateful we chose to get a wedding video. So many people tell you how fast the day goes by and how much you’ll miss, but now that I’ve lived it, I couldn’t agree more! Getting a video allows us to relive those special moments again and again!

The staff helped me plan and keep a fun secret from my husband, which was not easy, but they were so happy to help! We were blown away by the team at Mike Staff. From our photographers Mary J and Dennis, to our videographer Sylvester, and our DJ Josh B. They were each remarkable in their own special ways! Mary started the day with the girls and put us right at ease. Dennis started with the boys and made them all look sharp by tending to pocket squares and little details. They both had such confidence and command of the proceedings that not once did we worry about asking for certain pictures. We trusted them to get the shots that mattered most - and they did! As Dennis focused on crowd pictures, he blended in so well he was like another guest - one our friends loved and commented on numerous times! Mary knew how much sunset pictures meant to us and kept an eye on the sky after it rained and ensured we got the magical pictures we dreamt of... Sylvester took some of the most amazing video shots that make us smile from ear to ear as we re-watch our videos. And finally... last but not least... Josh kept that party rocking - so much so that he was constantly moving his station further back from the moving dance floor to make room for the party! Not once did we worry about the schedule of the reception or a bare dance floor, because we knew it was in very capable hands with Josh leading the night! We used Mike Staff for videography services (DJ services as well, which were equally as great). Tracy was our videographer and he was great! We are both people who aren’t comfortable in front of a camera, but Tracy made it easy. He was super easy going, go with the flow, but also knew exactly what needed to get done. He worked great with everyone, especially my photographer! We got our wedding video within 5 weeks after our wedding which was great! Tracy captured so many memories that we were apart of, but also so many moments we weren’t able to be there for! Mike Staff Productions was great. They were easy to communicate with and work with and our videographer was very personable on the day of our wedding. From the start, the Mike Staff team made everything so easy! It was so convenient to work with just one company for three of the vendors that would be there on our wedding day. Up until the wedding, they we so quick to answer all my questions. The day of our wedding was perfect! Our videographer was awesome and I barely noticed he was there, in a good way! We were very happy with Mike Staff Productions from early on in the wedding planning process. We were able to decide on a photographer from receiving personalized videos from multiple photographers that were available to work with us from their team. They described their style, and we could really see their personality shine through. We were able to have our engagement photos with our photographer, Mary, to see if this was the right fit for us on our wedding day. And we are so glad we did! She even helped us plan our day from morning to night. She was on time, very informative, helpful with posing, but also in capturing moments when we were our true selves. We cannot thank her enough, and are thrilled with our wedding photos! Our videographer, Dylan, captured every moment! He even offered to stay a couple hours longer than we had paid for originally, capturing some fun moments on the dance floor. We received our entire uncut/unedited ceremony and all of the toasts, as well as an amazing “Mini-Movie” that our friends and family have loved! And our DJ, Matt, has an amazing voice for the job. Transitioned our music well as we had three separate songs as part of our full processional. He learned our large wedding party’s names and pronunciations quickly, and kept the dance floor going all night! MSP had an issue uploading some of our photos to our album, but if technology a month after our wedding day was our biggest problem, I’d say working with MSP couldn’t have been better! We were still able to get all our photos, no problem. Having photography, videography, and DJ all from the same team was so helpful in that they all had the same respectful, fun, and familiar personalities, worked well together, and could communicate easily with one another on the day of our wedding. I had MikeStaff Productions do my DJ, photography, and videography. I could not say enought good things about them! The prices were amazing compared to others I looked into and being that I got married in September, I was thankful they had staff for such a busy month. The planning process with them was incredible and each person reached out through text and email to speak with me and my fiance about the wedding and what we were expecting. The entire team worked so well and even the videographer personally knew and worked with my wedding planner previously. Everything was very organized and smooth. My photographer Chris was incredible and all my friends and family loved him. He kept everything moving and got everything we asked for. Our DJ was very perceptive of the crowd he had. Played many genres and the dance floor was never empty. We also received our photographs and videos before they were due but they turned out incredible! My husband and I could not express how much we appreciated the people we had at our wedding. I recommend them to all my friends planning weddings!

We used Mike Staff for photography, videography & dj! It was the BEST decision! 3 days before our wedding our DJ got covid and we are so happy Mike Staff has back ups for these reasons! Josh did a great job as our DJ and was SO friendly & professional. Jenny for photography, was AMAZING! Not only was she great & patient for pictures, she was great with helping with my veil, providing eye drops when needed & everything else you could think of. We loved Jestice as well for videography! He was so helpful & was so fun to chat with. Mike Staff overall was the best decision we made. Having all 3 vendors within the same company made our wedding less stressful!!

We had a great experience with Mike Staff! We went with them for our DJ (Kevin) and our live streamer (Daniel) and we were very happy with both people!! It was super easy to reach someone at the office via email or phone whenever we needed help. So many of our friends complimented the DJ - everyone had an awesome time on the dance floor and Kevin helped the whole day run smoothly. Daniel was also super kind and on top of things, and even when we were running a little late for the live stream schedule, he went out of his way to make sure we got everything we wanted recorded. Overall this was a great team for our wedding! We got the DJ (Mike), photography (Dave), and videography (Will) all done by Mike Staff. All three were absolutely great to work with and put us very much at ease with their professionalism and friendliness. We got several compliments on music, and multiple guests told us that Mike was the best DJ they'd ever seen at a wedding. He met with us the Monday of the wedding to make sure he played everything we asked for and to get all the name pronunciations correct. Tip: fill out the pre-meeting form very thoroughly, it made the whole process go a lot more smoothly. We got two videos from Will, one which was a documentary of the whole ceremony, entrances to the reception, special dances, toasts, and other traditions, and another which was a very nicely edited clips of the day. They were so well put together that my dad said they could be watched as entertainment, not just for nostalgia. Dave was our go-to guy through the whole day and very willing to do any photo shots we asked for (even with sparklers!). Our only slight disappointment was that the photos inside the church turned out slightly grainy from the poor indoor lighting, which although that isn't the photographer's fault we were a little disappointed that we weren't told that might be a problem. Overall though, this team made our day really spectacular and we would recommend them to anyone wanting a full-service package for their wedding!

Our wedding video was better than we could have ever expected! Our videographer was so professional, and we didn't even notice him there most of the day. Before our wedding day even happened, we knew we'd picked the right company. Everyone in the office was always friendly and answered all my questions - and I had a lot of them! Our videographer was so creative. We loved how she worked with our photographer - each suggesting their own ideas that complimented each other. They worked as a team the entire day and our video (and photos) are even better than we hoped because of it. Once we got to the reception, they both worked with the DJ so everyone knew what was happening when and I didn't have to manage the night. I love the mini movie the video team created too! I like being able to share our day with friends and family that didn't come without having to share the entire video. They helped to reschedule our wedding due to COVID without any issues. The transition to a new wedding date was seamless. Even though our wedding was smaller, our team from Mike Staff knocked it out of the park. Our photographers captured our day perfectly and felt like family by the end of the night. I have been planning my wedding for 3 years. When I first was researching vendors I found these guys & (pre-Covid) went out to their office to meet with them. I was looking for a DJ & a videography service. They asked what I was looking for & then showed me videos of their DJs to narrow down my choices (they have a lot of individuals on the team to choose from!) We watched 2 or 3 of them, and then my husband & I agreed on Kevin, because not only did it seem he was fun & did a great job- he also could play acoustic guitar if we wanted him to at the ceremony!! We planned our wedding for 10/19/19 and had to reschedule, but this company was more than accommodating! They moved the date for us no issue- deposit was good for the next date, didn't cost anything additional, and we pushed it out a year. New date: 10/17/20 . I had all the tools I needed to prepare & choose songs. Kevin was a BLAST at the wedding & so kind beyond. He acted as a day-of coordinator without needing to hire a day of coordinator. It was amazing. We also hired them for Videography. Jestice was our guy & he was great as well. He worked so well with the photography team we hired (different company) & was just a fun presence. I have yet to see my video, so I can't judge him on that yet lol but the time we had him at the hotel & venue, he was great. I am really looking forward to seeing how the video turns out!! Weddings go by so fast & you don't even really remember it all being such a whirlwind. I am hopeful it will be perfect & I can watch it again and again for years to come!
