hey do is super fun they have all these entrees ready for you to taste (and that you get to choose) and Chef Roberta is truly an expert when it comes to creating the perfect wedding menu. Milan offers everything you need for your big day more than just food. They also offer bar service, cake service, dessert service, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, etc.! We truly found that to be very helpful since we didn't need to go out of our way to get linens or dishes for our reception tables. They also have butler-served hors d'oeuvres which all of our guests loved and it added a touch of elegance to our cocktail hour. Our reception was also "butler-served" and our guests didn't need to leave their tables to get food or get in a line to get food. The food was brought to them and they truly enjoyed that. The whole Milan team is super friendly and professional and you won't regret working with them. They make everything so EASY for you and they prioritize your big day. They are very great at communication and they will respond emails very quick and take any calls you make. Interviewing vendors and navigating contracts can become overwhelming fast. I can confidently say that throughout our planning process, we never once doubted Milan Catering. The food, WOW, I can't stop dreaming about the food. One of the things you never realize until you plan a wedding yourself is how important the food is! Chef Roberta is truly talented. At our tasting, she provided multiple flavor combinations and helped us pick items that our guests would love as much as we did. We went with the crispy chicken, jerk seasoned snapper, and ancho seasoned steak. All received rave reviews from our guests! Our planner, Laura, is an absolute STAR. She helped us with our date change (due to COVID) and was so kind to us during a sad and stressful time. When it finally came down to planning our new date, Laura knocked it out of the park. She reassured us that everything would work out, and it did! Our day was perfect!! If something went wrong, I honestly didn't notice. One thing I did notice, however, is how much time and effort Laura put into our day. She is so efficient and quick to act. I truly don't anyone more organized than her. Our family and friends are still commenting on how professional Laura is. As an added bonus, she took a bunch of photos and videos of our wedding and sent them over the day after we got married. This was such a special touch because we couldn't wait to see photos outside of our friends intoxicated iPhone shots (haha). Laura reminded us to breath and live in the moment - the best advice a bride and groom could get on their wedding day. We can't thank Milan Catering and Laura enough for making our day the best ever! I highly HIGHLY recommend adding them to your vendor team!

is an absolutely incredible day of coordinator. I cannot even begin to explain how much she did for my husband, family, and I during our wedding day and leading up to it. Laura can really do and handle it all. She sewed my dress after a latch on the back of it broke. Our mirrored seating chart that I had DIYed got knocked over by the wind at the venue and found a replacement and remade the whole mirror before the wedding and I had NO IDEA. The list truly goes on and on, on how Laura went absolutely above and beyond. We cannot thank her enough for being a HUGE part of our wedding day that was out of our wildest dreams. , they offered us a tasting, but you can only pick food that you love, who knows what your guests will like? And my family gave us lots of helpful hints.. It was nerve racking. And despite everyon’s good intentions, there are costs to consider. You can really get overwhelmed. We met Chef Roberta for the tasting, but before then, we were asked to pick from their menus and they would put together a tasting menu for us. More nerves… the options are endless and everything looks wonderful. We also sent in the list of our favorite restaurants and any restrictions on food that we hated. Chef Roberta took what little ideas we had and put it to a tasting menu within my budget to actually make it happen. When we showed up for the tasting, Chef roberta’s calming manner helped declutter my head so I could focus on the food. It was very interactive, all the sauces and additions were on the side, we were encouraged to “play with our “food to see what stood out in flavors and our expectations. After 8 appetizers, 6 entrees and countless sauces, we got to a general consensus of what we loved about the menu items. I don't know that I can explain how she was able to take something that I could barely handle and pull it all together for us, but she did. Our menu selections reflected our most favorite flavors and we ended up choosing their guest choice service. During the tasting, Chef roberta kept us on point and even made sure that had a vegan option available. One of my nieces is allergic to everything, so she steered us away from anything that might cause an allergic reaction. I spent more time talking about the tasting as Chef Roberta wanted us to describe how we got from a standstill to the most delicious wedding food we have ever tasted. At the Crosley, we had a choice of other caterers, I don’t remember much about them except for the Bradenton newspaper article of the company who got cited for infestations. We got married at the Crosley and the day of wedding, the food was exceptional and the service was above and beyond. We were moved by how well Chef Roberta and her team helped us refine our vision for the perfect wedding day and make it a reality.

Laura also made sure that my wishes were met such as no late guest during the ceremony and she had back up plans for everything! Laura is also a great presence to have with you right before walking down the aisle. Laura has truly found her calling and was meant to be a wedding coordinator! :)

Is that person that gives you peace of mind , who you entrust that everything is going to be great!! Milan , or Chef Roberta ‘s food is just amazingly delicious . We chose a plated dinner for 100 guests ! Basically cook to order with 3 different entrees to choose from . I was concerned about how it was going to work and still be compliant with the timeline of the wedding . IT WENT FLAWLESS!! The food was amazing , guests were impressed with the large portion and surprised by unexpected out of the ordinary fine dining courses !! Milan Event even took upon themselves and corrected the disappointment and negligence of another vendor ! Only one word to describe OUTSTANDING !! Will hire the same team again in a blink !!!

The bride and groom chose a cake topper to cut and a variety of desserts presented for the guests. All of the desserts were amazing! Almost too pretty to eat, but we managed! She even accommodated our request to have coconut rice which wasn’t listed on the catering menu. Everything was PERFECTION and everyone was so professional. We still have guests raving about how good everything was!! We had our own server throughout the entire day so we got to actually eat (which everyone always says you don’t really get to!). We even had appetizers waiting at our table when it was time for dinner which I appreciated so much because there were a couple things we hadn’t got to try yet during cocktail hour! The tuna tacos and bacon wrapped scallops were incredible and I couldn’t eat enough plantains, they were so good! It was everything we had dreamed of. Our only wish would be that we were able to take home leftovers. We understood that the quality of the food couldn’t be guaranteed after, but we felt like so much food went to waste especially since we had 4 guest cancellations the week of. It would’ve been perfect if a plate could’ve been set aside for us for the next day, but that would be the only thing I would change because other than that the day was a dream come true!

There was never any pressure on what package we should go with or any additional add ons. We outlined our budget and Milan did everything to accommodate it. Our chef made our menu tasking fun and memorable, while making it a very easy process. Our contact & day-of planner, Anastasia, is simply the best at what she does. She made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the wedding planning process. She was extremely attentive to our emails and phones calls, even being two time zones away from us. How many weddings have you been to where the food was preselected months in advance and plain or bland? You will NOT have this opinion after eating the food provided by Milan. It was fresh, and the perfect temperature. The table-side menus were a great touch than many people commented on so they didn’t have to choose what they wanted to eat months in advance. We weren’t sure if a day-of coordinator was necessary for us as we are very organized and have a lot of support from friends and family who would have been happy to help. But after thinking it through, we decided to move forward with having one. And if there is any wedding expense that was worth every single penny, it was having Anastasia as our day-of coordinator! I was really impressed with her at the rehearsal. She was organized, and vocal when she has to be to get everyone in the right spot, but was never pushy or too forceful. This outstanding approach only continued into the following day for our ceremony and reception. She set everything up, made sure it was exactly how we envisioned it. She made sure everyone was in the right spot as well as made sure we were in the right places, making our special day, just that...special. In short, our wedding wouldn't have been nearly as perfect as it was without Anastasia! We have nothing but positive & great things to say about Milan.
