I am giving this company 5 stars. Through out the process, the team was calm, patient and organized despite how stressed I became. My friends and family are foodies, so I think the menu was the most stressful planning process. Let's be honest..., they offered us a tasting, but you can only pick food that you love, who knows what your guests will like? And my family gave us lots of helpful hints.. It was nerve racking. And despite everyon’s good intentions, there are costs to consider. You can really get overwhelmed. We met Chef Roberta for the tasting, but before then, we were asked to pick from their menus and they would put together a tasting menu for us. More nerves… the options are endless and everything looks wonderful. We also sent in the list of our favorite restaurants and any restrictions on food that we hated. Chef Roberta took what little ideas we had and put it to a tasting menu within my budget to actually make it happen. When we showed up for the tasting, Chef roberta’s calming manner helped declutter my head so I could focus on the food. It was very interactive, all the sauces and additions were on the side, we were encouraged to “play with our “food to see what stood out in flavors and our expectations. After 8 appetizers, 6 entrees and countless sauces, we got to a general consensus of what we loved about the menu items. I don't know that I can explain how she was able to take something that I could barely handle and pull it all together for us, but she did. Our menu selections reflected our most favorite flavors and we ended up choosing their guest choice service. During the tasting, Chef roberta kept us on point and even made sure that had a vegan option available. One of my nieces is allergic to everything, so she steered us away from anything that might cause an allergic reaction.
I spent more time talking about the tasting as Chef Roberta wanted us to describe how we got from a standstill to the most delicious wedding food we have ever tasted. At the Crosley, we had a choice of other caterers, I don’t remember much about them except for the Bradenton newspaper article of the company who got cited for infestations.
We got married at the Crosley and the day of wedding, the food was exceptional and the service was above and beyond. We were moved by how well Chef Roberta and her team helped us refine our vision for the perfect wedding day and make it a reality.
