Milestone Events Group helped us make our wedding planning journey perfect and memorable! We got married on 9/23/23 at Villa Chanticleer and couldn't have done it without them!
Our coordinator Liliana was incredible in every way and on top of all the details. We enjoyed working with her so much and she truly was such a major part in helping to make our wedding run smoothly and look amazing!
The whole Milestone team and Milestone Kitchen team are exceptional people and we are so happy to have put our trust in them for one of the most important days of our lives <3
Thank you MEG!!!

My venue was beautiful, but the worst part of my wedding was working with Milestone. We booked our venue while it was under the management of another company and everything was going fine. The moment Milestone took over, the problems started. They tried multiple times to not honor my contract and tried to get even more money out of us on at least 3 separate occasions. They made planning extremely stressful for both myself and my coordinator. There was little to no communication except when they wanted more money. Even on the day of my wedding, they fell through on things that were promised- like coffee and tea during dessert (It was part of my bar package, but was no where to be found so my dad had to run to starbuck to get coffee for everyone), they had my vendors SIT ON THE FLOOR to eat dinner because they couldn't 'find chairs', and the 'site manager' who was supposed to be my main point of contact, changed at least 3 times and it was like starting over every time- half of the time people I spoke to had no one I had already booked my event! Their properties are stunning but I will never work with Milestone again.
I was really disappointed by my experience with Milestone. They made planning extremely stressful. They told me before signing my contract that there would be a lot of flexibility and that their coordination services would be sufficient. I found neither to be true. Every interaction with them from contract signing, to nailing down the details was really painful. I also would say that the amount of coordination I received didn't live up to what was detailed in my contract. I found myself really regreting trusting them with my event and wished I had avoided using a venue managed by them.
set expectations they couldn't live up to, were very inflexible when it came to small changes, and even on the day weren't able to triage hiccups along the way. I would recommend to anyone planning an event to find another event service.
My husband and I booked a venue with Milestone in 2019 when we were originally planning our June 2020 wedding. With the pandemic, everything got turned upside down, but Milestone was so helpful and understanding along the way. Throughout our planning process, they ended their contract with the venue we had booked. Luckily, they work with a ton of beautiful venues in the area and we were able to shift our celebrations to another site. Everyone from Milestone was great to talk to, and because we were working with them so long, we really got to talk to a lot of their staff members. We appreciated that every time we connected with a new person, they had been informed of all of our planning progress and knew right where to pick up. Leslie took us on tours of venues and ultimately we worked with Brodie at Sbragia for our “rehearsal dinner” and welcome reception. She was so patient and kind. Brodie met with our caterer at the venue to give him a tour a few weeks before the party, helped us pick the wines, and set up so many decorations – she really helped make the evening spectacular.
TLDR; Echoing to please AVOID this company due to their approach to COVID. We received a few hours of service and a refusal to host the wedding under the legal limit of people but the company refused to provide even a partial refund of our site fee leaving us to plan a fully new wedding weeks before it was to happen.
We had a very nice wedding a few weeks ago with 9 people at a venue that we had to find with two weeks remaining because of the lack of flexibility and, as other reviewers have pointed out, lack of empathy and respect for their customers. We had to find this venue because Milestone would not work with us even though we were WELL within regulations (every other vendor worked with us to have the wedding and refund us the majority of our deposits) and we got another venue (and event company!) that was happy to work with us because we were well within regulations.
We spent a year planning a wedding with some help from Milestone (a few phone calls and I would assume some behind the scenes planning that may have taken a few additional hours). Our planner Samantha was really kind and we enjoyed working with her. Unfortunately, once the wedding was a few weeks away and it was obvious that COVID wouldn't allow for more than 12 guests, Milestone immediately changed their tone to let us know that they would only allow 6 guests (to Pellegrini Winery, a large, outdoor venue - and an arbitrary number that they pulled from a blog as support) or we could reschedule into the future at a date where we could spend more money with them.
After we made it clear that we were going to continue to have the wedding on our planned wedding date at a reduced capacity and that if they weren't able to accommodate that we would like a refund of the fee that they took to use their site, they refused and gave us the option to take legal action which, as a young couple who does not have the financial capability to do so, was their way of telling us that they were taking our money and we couldn't do anything about it.
As the owner has mentioned in other comments, they are obviously hurting because of the circumstances and "are not in the position" to refund deposits - whether contractually obligated to or not - so please, please, please think twice about giving them your business and money in the first place. They chose to take our deposit and our venue and left us to fend for ourselves weeks before our wedding and they will do it to you, too!
We worked with Milestone briefly when we booked Viansa Sonoma as our wedding venue. We found that the Milestone venue package was not nearly as inclusive for what we wanted in a venue in terms of hours needed for our event and even time we could show up to the venue for photos. Reviewing the contract was painful, and something as easy as number of hours and start time of our event was extremely inflexible. We ended up paying extra on top of the venue fee to get 6 hours of event time starting at 5 PM. The worst moment was when we learned of a management switch from Viansa to a new management group. We never received a phone call notifying us of this change, and were blindsided with an email which referenced a phone discussion which we never had (definitely seemed like a template communication). After we asked for a phone call or more information, our old Milestone contact went completely MIA. Thankfully, the new company which took over management was way easier to work with, and they actually made the months of preparation leading up to our wedding (the most important part!) smooth and painless. Ironically, this change turned out to be for the better. But because of our experience from venue selection and booking until the management switch, I can't say that we recommend working with Milestone Events Group.
The best money you will spend on your wedding will be with Milestone Events Group. We were lucky because we knew the venue we wanted - B.R. Cohn Winery - and they are managed by Milestone. We booked a tour with BR Cohn and one other Milestone property just days after our engagement because we wanted to plan a wedding in 6 months and we were terrified that with the Sonoma Valley being such a popular wedding destination, everything and everyone would already be booked. From our first interaction with a Milestone representative, we stopped worrying. During our tours, the answered every question and gave us a realistic understanding of what we’d be getting at each venue. When we decided that our gut was right and we’d go with BR Cohn, we were assigned Briana for our Day-Of Coordination and she went above and beyond for us every step of the way. There were some last minute shifts at our venue due to unforseen construction, and the Milestone Group worked around the clock to make sure that our vision was still executed to perfection. They went the extra mile with accommodating us and coordinating with our vendors to make sure that when our wedding day arrived we were relaxed and excited instead of stressed out. I found that when interacting with vendors around my wedding, some folks like to treat brides as high-maintenance and needy before even getting to know them, putting their energy into “appeasing” someone rather than actually communicating, problem solving and meeting the needs of their clients. Milestone was the opposite. They addressed every concern and always made me feel genuinely understood and taken care of - even in the moments where I was feeling defeated and frustrated with how overwhelming the planning process can be.

Couldn’t have had a smoother more perfect flowing wedding...Macenzie is amazing at what she does...was on top of everything and made it so all we had to do is be there, do our thing, have fun, and leave with fantastic memories .
My husband and I got married at Madrone (now Valley of the Moon) on September 2nd. We originally toured with a February wedding date in mind and loved this venue because of its multiple indoor options in case of inclimate weather. Not only is the outdoor ceremony space absolutely stunning, but there is also an awesome reception space indoors in the tasting room. Had we not gotten married directly during the harvest season, we also would have had access to the barrel room. This is the only venue we toured out of the dozen or so we looked at in wine country that actually has a ceremony space amongst the vines.
We were unlucky enough to end up getting married on a ridiculously hot day and Milestone was totally on top of coming up with solutions for the heat. Two days before, we were on the phone with Jennifer trying to figure out solutions for keeping our guests comfortable. We ended up moving the ceremony into the shade and moving cocktail hour indoors. Additionally, even though it was harvest season, Milestone and Madrone agreed to let my husband and I do our first look in the barrel room. It was a really special moment that we were able to capture and we're very grateful they let us take pictures there.
We had a pretty small wedding-- about 80-- and the space was perfect. There is only one bathroom at the venue, which worked fine for us. There is also a small bridal suite (off the kitchen) that I got dressed in.
If you want a perfect wedding venue that will photograph amazingly and is run by incredible, friendly staff, Madrone/Valley of the Moon should be on your list!
We had our casual rehearsal dinner with all our guests on the deck overlooking the valley. We got a pizza truck to come and were trying to keep expenses down which they were totally willing to work with. The original contact we were in touch with left the company abruptly but the next event manager picked up the pieces are created a seamless event. I highly recommend this location.
My husband and I got married at Trentadue Winery and had the opportunity to work with the Milestone team leading up to and on the day of the event. I was a type-A bride, very organized and detailed oriented and had high expectations of the team to ensure that our day of was perfect. The team at Milestone, especially Krista and Macenzie, were fantastic to work with and did an especially amazing job executing my vision. Everything was seamless and completely exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. With so many variables that could potentially go array, having Krista and Macenzie's execution and professionalism completely mitigated our risk and fears of something going wrong on one of the most important days of our lives. We absolutely would recommend working with Milestone for any event, and especially one as important as your wedding day!
Nick & I live in New York City and we decided to get married in Geyserville, CA, not exactly near each other. Krista Polizo & Macenzie Campolito were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. They provided a list of vendors, which ended up being very helpful when it came to the salon I used, the DJ and the rentals company. All of which were wonderful and extremely professional. Krista & Macenzie were very organized, replied to emails/phone calls promptly and made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. We are so thankful to Krista & Macenzie for helping us design and plan our dream wedding. On the day of I had no worries and everything turned out perfect! I would highly recommend working with Krista & Macenzie!!
We've been to Sbragia Family Vineyard twice in the last 5 years, and we've always loved the breathtaking views! When we were scoping out various venues for our wedding, Sbragia came up in our search as it fell within our (very tight) budget. When we visited the site again, my husband and I knew this was the ONE--the place where we want to get married. We couldn't get over just how beautiful that view is! It's so spectacular and so romantic.
We worked with Megan Misaka of Milestone Events Group. She was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, and there were plenty of times when she put me at ease when I felt overwhelmed. As an example, I didn't know where to start with catering--there were so many options--and Megan was able to help me narrow it down to 2 vendors based on my budget. Megan made me feel like she always had time for me--I never felt rushed nor dismissed. Even during our ceremony, I noticed that she was passing out streamers to our guests. I'm sure there were many other things she did throughout the evening that I didn't get to see. Megan did an excellent job!
My husband and I had a beautiful wedding and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather for our ceremony. Sbragia has an amazing view of Dry Creek Valley and great wine. Our guests have let us know lots of positive comments about both. Their terrace is partly covered so (if it does happen to rain on your wedding day) there is a potential backup plan to fit the tables under the awning for the reception if your wedding is relatively small. The reasons why I didn't rate this venue 5 stars is because even though my husband expressed concern about the potential darkness of the reception area after sundown (their coordinator had said that purchasing the little tealight candles and christmas lights should be enough to light the dinner area), when it came time for our reception, it really was too dark to see. In hindsight, because our wedding was relatively small (8 tables, 64 guests) we should have placed the reception tables under the awning where it was best lit but the coordinator had suggested because that would decrease the size of the dance floor we may not want to do that. It turned out the dance floor size was almost too big for our party so finding a way to fit the tables under the awning probably would have been a better use of space and lighting. Since I wasn't good at assessing what the best table setup would be, we went with the coordinator's recommendation but I felt if I was able to figure this out after our wedding it should not have been a big jump for the coordinator to realize after having organized other weddings at the winery. Also, there were some unanticipated charges that we felt should have been included in the facility fee (e.g. heat lamps and wine glasses had to be rented) and there was a drop in communication with our caterer who had been referred to us from the winery (e.g. the caterer thought that napkins would be rented by the winery who was handling tablecloth rentals and on the day of the wedding it was realized that napkins were not rented so there was an additional charge from the caterer for emergency rental of napkins from another nearby winery). I would definitely recommend Sbragia for a wedding but just make sure to ask about all rental costs including the items mentioned above and have a plan for lighting the reception table area if you will not be placing the tables under the awning.
