Milestone did such a great job coordinating and managing our wedding! They made the planning process so smooth and were so accessible for questions. Our wedding coordinator was Marissa and she went above and beyond, before and during the wedding! I am so impressed with her and her team and would 100% recommend working with Milestone!
We are so happy we booked our wedding through Milestone! We worked with Arianna and she helped plan and execute the most perfect wedding day! From answering so many of my smallest questions to making sure we didn't have to worry about a single detail day of and to running the most seamless and smooth event, she is amazing. Thank you, Milestone!
Truett Hurst is the most gorgeous venue to have your wedding! So many stunning backdrops for photos it’s hard to choose from – there are vineyards, lavender plants, a flowing creek, flower arches, and so much more! We booked Truett Hurst through Milestone Event Groups, and Paige Hough was our day coordinator. She was a dream to work with! She answered my multiple emails in a timely manner, and submitted my many, many requests for changes to my rental order with a smile. All the staff at MEG made our wedding day feel absolutely seamless. So grateful to have had them on our team!
My husband & I used Milestone Events for our wedding at Pellegrini Winery in July 2022 for both coordination and catering. There was a lot of turnover with the event coordinators during our 2+ years of wedding planning, but we worked with Liliana (Lili) for the 8 months leading up to our wedding. Lili was SO fantastic to work with - we were so lucky to have her. Lili kept everything on track and was very communicative. Throughout the whole process Lili was detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order, and to make all of our visions come to life. On the day of the event, Lili had all the details under control and was attentive to my husband & I and our families, so we were able to relax and be completely stress-free during our wedding. Lili is the primary reason our day was so seamless - we can't speak highly enough of her!
We also used Milestone Event kitchen to cater our reception. The food was delicious (we received a lot of positive comments from a lot of guests!), and the staff was attentive and friendly.
You won't regret it!
Milestone is an incredibly professional and well run organization. They set expectations well telling you when you'll meet, what you'll go over, and how to keep up with all of the important task for planning a wedding. The best part is you know you're in good hands and that they will help you cover all the bases and even the smallest of details. Our coordinator was Lili (Liliana Ochoa Islas) and she was a dream. She was so attuned to our style and what we like, and made great suggestions when we had no idea what to expect or how to decide. We chose Sbragia Family Vineyards, one of their vineyards they work with. This spot is a dream and reasonably priced. The benefit of working with an organization that knows the space well, has recommended vendors, routinely uses the space, can't be emphasized enough. Furthermore, the way their recommence vendors and any we chose fused their styles and worked together cohesively was tremendous and they resolve so many decisions or coordination logistics without us having to get super involved. Day of our wedding, even when little hiccups happened, the Milestone team lead by Lili adjusted gracefully and we never had to stress, worry, or manage. They even packed up everything for us so we could literally ride away into the sunset (evening). If you have a full time job or just are generally a busy person, Milestone, Sbragia, and Lili are the ones for you. Oh! And their entire catering staff etc was remarkable too.
The whole team at Milestone events are incredible, my Husband and I just got married over the weekend and everything on the day went perfect!
Because of COVID we have had to postpone our wedding from March to September and now January where restrictions were lifted enough for us to go ahead.
Not only were they all accomodating with all the changes, they also checked in on our well-being numerous times throughout the year which made us stress less about the whole thing knowing our wedding was in such safe hands.
The venue is incredible, the location is breathtaking and the food is to die for.
You could not pick a better family to entrust with such a special day.
Thank you Miles, Tessa and Jane for everything you do.
Love Mr and Mrs Giles xxx
TLDR; Echoing to please AVOID this company due to their approach to COVID. We received a few hours of service and a refusal to host the wedding under the legal limit of people but the company refused to provide even a partial refund of our site fee leaving us to plan a fully new wedding weeks before it was to happen.
We had a very nice wedding a few weeks ago with 9 people at a venue that we had to find with two weeks remaining because of the lack of flexibility and, as other reviewers have pointed out, lack of empathy and respect for their customers. We had to find this venue because Milestone would not work with us even though we were WELL within regulations (every other vendor worked with us to have the wedding and refund us the majority of our deposits) and we got another venue that was happy to work with us because we were well within regulations.
We spent a year planning a wedding with some help from Milestone (a few phone calls and I would assume some behind the scenes planning that may have taken a few additional hours). Our planner Samantha was really kind and we enjoyed working with her. Unfortunately, once the wedding was a few weeks away and it was obvious that COVID wouldn’t allow for more than 12 guests, Milestone immediately changed their tone to let us know that they would only allow 6 guests (to Pellegrini Winery, a large, outdoor venue - and an arbitrary number that they pulled from a blog as support) or we could reschedule into the future at a date where we could spend more money with them.
After we made it clear that we were going to continue to have the wedding on our planned wedding date at a reduced capacity and that if they weren’t able to accommodate that we would like a refund of the fee that they took to use their site, they refused and gave us the option to take legal action which, as a young couple who does not have the financial capability to do so, was their way of telling us that they were taking our money and we couldn’t do anything about it.
As the owner has mentioned in other comments, they are obviously hurting because of the circumstances and “are not in the position” to refund deposits - whether contractually obligated to or not - so please, please, please think twice about giving them your business and money in the first place. They chose to take our deposit and our venue and left us to fend for ourselves weeks before our wedding and they will do it to you, too!
I am sharing my overall experience with Milestone Events from start to finish so please read below:
We decided to get married at Trendadue Winery in Geyserville. We began working with Mackenzie and everything went pretty smoothly. About 2 weeks prior to our wedding Mackenzie left Milestone and we were transitioned over to Samantha. That was frustrating to say the least but the transition was pretty seamless. Fast forward to the morning of the rehearsal, there were fires in the area. We were moved to another venue (Russian River Vineyards) for our walk through rehearsal. Upon arrival we found out that we would have to move the wedding to this venue as well. We were shocked and sad to not be getting married at our chosen venue. The new venue had a very different overall feel and the terrain was hilly and dusty. We were told that it had many of the same amenities and therefore it was a good alternative. We originally paid $6000 for our site fee at Trentadue this was inclusive of tables and chairs. We then paid a $1000 fee to extend our reception as well. Upon changing over to our new venue we were not informed that the site fee was going up $500 even though it lacked a lot of the qualities of Trentadue and that the site didn't have tables and chairs which were going to cost up upwards of $2000. Now I have to say that Samantha and Leslie did an amazing job of moving things and transitioning all of the vendors last minute. We wouldn't have gotten married without then and for that we are forever thankful. Leslie was able to take a few things off of our rental order that we didn't need. This normally doesn't happen but they were able to make those adjustments under the circumstances. We were frustrated to find out about the hidden costs and not being aware of that to make informed decisions. After discussions were were about to negotiate the site fee but we were still left responsible for the rentals that were not initially approved. Although I understand that they did the best in the moment it's still unfair to ask those changes of couples who have budgeted to be able to get married. Also note that due to the change in venue we also changed wine since our original venue was inaccessible. This put our cost for wine $1000 over our original budget due to the cost of the new winery's wine. Overall we are very happy to be married and I think that Milestone did their best under the circumstances but we have to say we are still trying to swallow the $3000 adjustment in last minute costs.
We could not imagine having our destination wedding without Milestone! They were outstanding throughout the entire process, especially with planning the wedding all the way from New York. We had our wedding at Sbragia on 9/20/19 and it truly was the best day of our lives!
Our coordinator, Dayna was absolutely perfect! She was friendly, organized, calm and listened to all of our questions and concerns. During the wedding, Dayna made sure that my groom and I were always taken care of and was always there when we needed her. We can't thank her enough for her outstanding job! Thank you!
I am so happy we booked Milestone Events for our wedding! My husband and I were married at Copain Winery two weeks ago, but we are from Boston (MA), so we planned the entire event from the other side of the country. We worked with Macenzie throughout the entire process, and she was amazing - so friendly, warm, insightful, professional, responsive (I could go on and on). She made sure every detail was perfect, and she took our vision and helped us turn it into an actual dream come true. I don't know how we would have pulled off such a fantastic day without all of her help! We highly recommend hiring MEG.
We worked with Milestone Events Group and specifically Samantha for our September wedding at Trentadue Winery and we couldn't have been happier! I was a pretty hands-on/type-A bride throughout the entire planning process and Samantha did not skip a beat when working with me! She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, from working with our vendors, day of planning, and coordinating a million things on the day of. The day couldn't have been as amazing if it weren't for Milestone and Samantha. Thank you again!!
We got married this past September at Trentadue Winery and the day and days leading up to it we worked with the fabulous Macenzie at Milestone Event Group.
Milestone not only pays attention to every tiny detail, but they are there to consult and guide you from day one to give you exactly what you want and need. We can’t commend the team, especially Macenzie, at Milestone as they always went above and beyond what they were asked without question. They truly treat you like gold from day one to the big day. Our wedding would not have been the same without Milestone and their heart-felt, professional, and attentive team - and our day because of them was as special as it could have possibly been.
We cannot recommend Milestone highly enough - the company they have built deserves all the praise in the world!
PS - There are even a couple of our friends already stating that they’ll be using Milestone one day when their big day comes. Thank you again for your services, it was an honor working with you!
We are so glad we booked a Milestone property for our wedding. Not only are the venues beautiful (we chose Trentadue), but the folks at Milestone are such a valuable resource throughout the whole process.
We opted for their event coordination service and were paired with a site coordinator, Dayna. I honestly do not know how we would have pulled off a wedding without her. She answered all of our clueless questions in the months leading up to the wedding and helped us put together the entire day-of timeline. She communicated with our vendors and made sure everything ran on schedule. She brought so much valuable logistical knowledge that we just had no experience in. On the big day, it really felt like we could just show up to the party and Dayna would make sure everything else happened. And she did!
In addition, Dayna had an amazing ability to take all of our half baked ideas and turn them into something even more magical than in my imagination. A seating chart and favors we had no clear vision for ended up looking like something out of a magazine. Dayna took my extremely vague and rushed instructions for a Chinese tea ceremony and executed it beautifully.
At the end of the wedding, when I could hardly keep track of my own shoes, Dayna got all of our things (decor, beer, gifts, etc) back in all the right cars, not a single thing forgotten. Incredible.
We highly recommend Dayna and Milestone Events Group for anyone planning a wedding! They are pros.
Trentadue Winery and Milestone Events group are both amazing! My husband and I got married on August 11th, 2018, and we had such an amazing experience working with Milestone to plan our wedding. Our guests were from both the east coast and locally (SF Bay Area), and everyone absolutely loved the stunning setting, and especially dinner under the vines. Many people said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! Our wedding coordinator Macenzie Campolito made the whole process stress-free and fun from start to finish. One of the reasons that we chose Trentadue Winery was because we Milestone Events Group had the option of the “month of coordinator”. Macenzie helped us every step of the way and was great at helping to refine different vendors. She was professional, responsive, and great to work with! She helped to keep us on track and was always willing to have calls, etc. when we needed them. She even would join our calls with other vendors to help! Macenzie worked with our vendors to communicate the day of timeline, and she was also onsite at our wedding working so hard to make sure everything went perfectly (which it did, thanks to their team). Macenzie, we cannot thank you enough for helping to make our wedding the most magical day of our lives! Thank you, Trentadue Winery and Milestone Events Group!
Milestone Events Group did an amazing job with our wedding. Rachel helped us leading up and kept us organized and on track. Not only that, but throughout the entire day, she covered everything and made sure that our day was perfect! Rachel was organized, personable, and so fun to work with!
Macenzie was great! Our wedding ran very smoothly. Milestone really makes life a lot easier and they know the details of their properties better than anyone.
My husband and I got married at Madrone (now Valley of the Moon) on September 2nd. We originally toured with a February wedding date in mind and loved this venue because of its multiple indoor options in case of inclimate weather. Not only is the outdoor ceremony space absolutely stunning, but there is also an awesome reception space indoors in the tasting room. Had we not gotten married directly during the harvest season, we also would have had access to the barrel room. This is the only venue we toured out of the dozen or so we looked at in wine country that actually has a ceremony space amongst the vines.
We were unlucky enough to end up getting married on a ridiculously hot day and Milestone was totally on top of coming up with solutions for the heat. Two days before, we were on the phone with Jennifer trying to figure out solutions for keeping our guests comfortable. We ended up moving the ceremony into the shade and moving cocktail hour indoors. Additionally, even though it was harvest season, Milestone and Madrone agreed to let my husband and I do our first look in the barrel room. It was a really special moment that we were able to capture and we're very grateful they let us take pictures there.
We had a pretty small wedding-- about 80-- and the space was perfect. There is only one bathroom at the venue, which worked fine for us. There is also a small bridal suite (off the kitchen) that I got dressed in.
If you want a perfect wedding venue that will photograph amazingly and is run by incredible, friendly staff, Madrone/Valley of the Moon should be on your list!
We had our casual rehearsal dinner with all our guests on the deck overlooking the valley. We got a pizza truck to come and were trying to keep expenses down which they were totally willing to work with. The original contact we were in touch with left the company abruptly but the next event manager picked up the pieces are created a seamless event. I highly recommend this location.
My husband and I got married at Trentadue Winery and had the opportunity to work with the Milestone team leading up to and on the day of the event. I was a type-A bride, very organized and detailed oriented and had high expectations of the team to ensure that our day of was perfect. The team at Milestone, especially Krista and Macenzie, were fantastic to work with and did an especially amazing job executing my vision. Everything was seamless and completely exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. With so many variables that could potentially go array, having Krista and Macenzie's execution and professionalism completely mitigated our risk and fears of something going wrong on one of the most important days of our lives. We absolutely would recommend working with Milestone for any event, and especially one as important as your wedding day!
Nick & I live in New York City and we decided to get married in Geyserville, CA, not exactly near each other. Krista Polizo & Macenzie Campolito were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. They provided a list of vendors, which ended up being very helpful when it came to the salon I used, the DJ and the rentals company. All of which were wonderful and extremely professional. Krista & Macenzie were very organized, replied to emails/phone calls promptly and made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. We are so thankful to Krista & Macenzie for helping us design and plan our dream wedding. On the day of I had no worries and everything turned out perfect! I would highly recommend working with Krista & Macenzie!!
We've been to Sbragia Family Vineyard twice in the last 5 years, and we've always loved the breathtaking views! When we were scoping out various venues for our wedding, Sbragia came up in our search as it fell within our (very tight) budget. When we visited the site again, my husband and I knew this was the ONE--the place where we want to get married. We couldn't get over just how beautiful that view is! It's so spectacular and so romantic.
We worked with Megan Misaka of Milestone Events Group. She was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, and there were plenty of times when she put me at ease when I felt overwhelmed. As an example, I didn't know where to start with catering--there were so many options--and Megan was able to help me narrow it down to 2 vendors based on my budget. Megan made me feel like she always had time for me--I never felt rushed nor dismissed. Even during our ceremony, I noticed that she was passing out streamers to our guests. I'm sure there were many other things she did throughout the evening that I didn't get to see. Megan did an excellent job!
My husband and I had a beautiful wedding and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather for our ceremony. Sbragia has an amazing view of Dry Creek Valley and great wine. Our guests have let us know lots of positive comments about both. Their terrace is partly covered so (if it does happen to rain on your wedding day) there is a potential backup plan to fit the tables under the awning for the reception if your wedding is relatively small. The reasons why I didn't rate this venue 5 stars is because even though my husband expressed concern about the potential darkness of the reception area after sundown (their coordinator had said that purchasing the little tealight candles and christmas lights should be enough to light the dinner area), when it came time for our reception, it really was too dark to see. In hindsight, because our wedding was relatively small (8 tables, 64 guests) we should have placed the reception tables under the awning where it was best lit but the coordinator had suggested because that would decrease the size of the dance floor we may not want to do that. It turned out the dance floor size was almost too big for our party so finding a way to fit the tables under the awning probably would have been a better use of space and lighting. Since I wasn't good at assessing what the best table setup would be, we went with the coordinator's recommendation but I felt if I was able to figure this out after our wedding it should not have been a big jump for the coordinator to realize after having organized other weddings at the winery. Also, there were some unanticipated charges that we felt should have been included in the facility fee (e.g. heat lamps and wine glasses had to be rented) and there was a drop in communication with our caterer who had been referred to us from the winery (e.g. the caterer thought that napkins would be rented by the winery who was handling tablecloth rentals and on the day of the wedding it was realized that napkins were not rented so there was an additional charge from the caterer for emergency rental of napkins from another nearby winery). I would definitely recommend Sbragia for a wedding but just make sure to ask about all rental costs including the items mentioned above and have a plan for lighting the reception table area if you will not be placing the tables under the awning.
