This is my final review for this place. I’m not changing it ( that’s for Joe the owner because he made change my other review to please him) this has been nothing but a headache. 1. We paid over $12,000 for them to hold our wedding and it was nothing but disaster expect the food. OUR bridal party set up the whole venue. The maître (Terry) did absolutely nothing then lied to try to save her job because she knows she wrong. She held a full blown conversation with the parents and our photographer that the flowers would be saved for us when we returned at 10 am on Saturday. ALL of them were given out to the workers by HER. we paid $250 to preserve them now that they are all missing we are out that money. Half of our decorations were broken. And JOE has nothing but excuses for his employees and won’t take responsibility for his actions and the actions of his workers. He convinced us to change our review and asked for a copy our flowers. I took it down and still did not compensate for stolen flowers. Everyone in that office has an attitude. When I wrote my first review I was talking to Connie afterwards she then proceeded to lie And curse at me over the phone. Super unprofessional. Joe wanted to have a face to face meeting coincidentally he’s never in office nor returns any phone calls. My recommendation is to stay far away from this company unless you like being talked down to and belittled as well as the staff cursing at you for putting their name in a review when they did wrong.

Communication could be improved after a stressful day. Food was delicious.
My daughters weddings were here 17&18 years ago and were beautiful. My sons wedding was a nightmare. After the wedding was booked , the Covid mandates went into effect which was 4 days before his wedding. He had 40 unvaccinated guests that could not attend. With only 4 days before wedding they we’re downgraded to a general party. No cocktail hour, no wedding cake no sweet table. Even though they still had 60 guests they were only able to use Victorian Room for both ceremony and reception. The Townsend Room remained empty. The photo booth had to be put in the vestibule and it was freezing outside at 10 degrees. 60 people crammed in the Victorian room while there was an empty room. We had to supply the wedding cake and pay extra for a sweet table that only had miniatures. The consultant that we dealt with were rude. I had 2 beautiful weddings here and recommended them to everyone. Boy did they go downhill. This wedding was a nightmare. The owners are greedy. With less than a week before wedding did they really have to cut his wedding down to a party. They were heartless. Never deal with these people again. Covid wasn’t my son’s fault. He had 60 fully vaccinated guests but that wasn’t enough for these greedy people.
We seriously can not recommend them enough. We had our wedding off site, so not at one of their catering halls. For our venue, we had to bring in everything - dishes, staff, silverware, linens, alcohol, everything. They went above and beyond. Their staff was so attentive and met all of our needs. The maître d’ William was a god send and kept the whole day coordinated and moving along so smoothly. Everyone raved about the food. They had so many selections to choose from and something to meet everyone’s needs. We coordinated our wedding all the way from California and it was a breeze. We will be recommending them to everyone!
We used Milillo catering at our November 2017 wedding at the Philadelphia Ballroom. The food was absolutely fabulous. Our maitre d, Terri, was phenomenal. She went above and beyond on our wedding day. The only thing I would have been happier with was communication. A few emails went unanswered so I had to resend or call in to ask questions.
If you're having a wedding, bundle EVERYTHING with this company. The professionalism I experienced with them was phenomenal, and I couldn't have been happier with their services! Great group to work with, and they made our wedding perfect! Oh, and the food was INCREDIBLE!
Everyone at P & P Caterers was amazing to work with. I mainly spoke with Aubrey, who was very patient with my MANY questions. She took the time to make sure all my questions were answered thoroughly. The Milillos were all very kind and helpful as well. The day of the wedding, the staff (especially the Maitre'D) was very attentive and kept the day running smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, also! I highly recommend P & P Caterers!
This is probably one of the best Philly caterers you can get! The food is amazing, the price is reasonable and the Millilos are great to work with! They worked with us 100% of the way through and I was so happy with everything!
Awesome food. Loved that fact we got all the left over to take home and eat the next day. Great prices, awesome food and amazing people to help make your day that much better. They are willing to add certain dishes to the menu, if you cant find something you like.
Through the years I have been to at least 5 or 6 events done through P&P for friends, family, and school functions, many of which have been weddings. The staff are all amazing especially Terri who worked with us through every step. The staff was flexible as I was an out of town bride and could only come in at certain times for meetings. Every hall is well kept (we used the townsend room), the head waiters are all amazing during the event, but the main feature is the food. P&P's prices are extremely reasonable, but what blows everyone else out of the water is the food. Delicious and abundant, the appetizers are a meal in and of them self. Depending on the size of your event, you have the choice of between 20-30 appetizers...that is unheard of elsewhere! From mini cheesesteaks to boneless wings, they are all fantastic. The amount of food during dinner and then dessert is hard to compare as well. I cannot wait to have another event here.
I am telling you if you are looking for the place with the best food you have found it stop looking and call them. I am still having people call me about the food.
