Absolutely wonderful! I recently purchased my dress from Mimi’s had a great experience. I went in very open and unsure of what I liked or wanted. They were super accommodating and helpful in the process. They didn’t put any pressure on me and made me feel super comfortable. Highly recommend!

I originally purchased my wedding dress to wear in May of 2021, but due to the pandemic, I ended up wearing it in May this year instead. Mimi's Bridal Boutique is a magical place and wonderful to work with. Setting up my first appointment was easy and I appreciated how they make an effort to keep the boutique organized and spotless. They have so many gorgeous dresses to choose from in a variety of styles! Their alterations department is great to work with. They will happily help you customize the dress you pick and help make adjustments for your wedding dress to fit you better. Thank you so very much!

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mimi’s! Every dress they pulled for me was absolutely beautiful, and the one I ended up with was beyond perfect. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and I could not be happier with the whole experience.

MiMis' Bridal was amazing from day one. The team helped me find the dress and from then on the experience was perfect. I had added sleeves to the dress and the alteration department was perfection. They fitted the dress so perfect to me. I had received so many compliments on the dress from the sleeves ( that came off for the reception :) ) to the beautiful veil for the chapel. This is such a beautiful boutique with the most amazing and talented staff and I would recommend them to anyone.

I can't say enough great things about Mimi's! The staff encouraged me to look at dresses beyond what I was expecting walking in, and that led me to the perfect dress! Although I found the one, I'm positive I could have walked out of there with any of their dresses. Their selection is so gorgeous. Everyone there is incredibly sweet and helpful throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend them enough!

I’m deeply upset with this business. They didn’t communicate well with me at all and sprung info on me last minute that made me uncomfortable. So glad I didn’t get me dress here, very unprofessional and very rude.

Awful customer service I only tried on six dresses for my hour and a half appointment . After saying I didn’t like the neckline of a dress she put me in two more dresses with the same neckline and ended up ending my appointment 30 min early.

Yvette and the ladies at Mimi’s are a treasure. From the moment my mother and I walked into the bridal salon back in early January of 2021, I have felt confident that I made the best choice in where I purchased my dress. Yvette was so sweet and accommodating throughout the entire experience leading up to my wedding date. I purchased a Maggie Sottero dress through a trunk show they hosted, and every-time I walked into their shop, I kept seeing this dress and remarking on how lovely it was, before remembering that it was the exact one that I picked. It was definitely meant to be! Their team hemmed and fitted my dress perfectly. They were so reassuring even when I was worried it might be too tight… they were right that it would relax a bit through out the wedding day. They know their craft! They steamed it beautifully and made every encounter at Mimi’s a pleasant and uplifting one. The dresses they carry are all so elegant and beautiful! I also purchased a veil and hairpiece through Mimi’s and received SO MANY compliments on how gorgeous the clip was. Needless to say, Yvette has wonderful taste, is so kind, and I’m going to miss our interactions! Without a doubt, buy a dress from here. Buy a hairpiece from here. You have to go here!

The staff at Mimi's are so friendly and helpful! Everything was great with the process, from picking out the right dress to alterations. I bought my dress during Black Friday weekend and received a discount and only needed alterations one time.

I don’t think I can say enough good things about Mimi’s! Everything from the atmosphere to the dress selection and employees was 10s across the board. Clare helped make finding my dress the most enjoyable experience! She was so attentive, kind and patient with me I can’t thank her enough. All the dresses she pulled were exactly the styles I envisioned. And she even pulled ones that happily took me by surprise. If you’re still in search of a bridal boutique look no further!

I never thought I’d find my dress first time out, but I did with Cat’s amazing help!! After talking a little bit and showing her some Pinterest pictures, Cat knew exactly what dresses to pull. The dress that brought me there ended up not being the one. However Cat picked the perfect dress and veil! I knew it was the one the moment she put the veil on and I started to cry. In the world of COVID they made us feel comfortable with everyone wearing masks and only 2 guests. They also gave me time to make a decision. They luckily didn’t have an appointment after mine and let us run over almost an hour. Highly recommend Mimi’s and Cat! Looking forward to when the dress arrives!

After ordering a few inexpensive wedding dresses online because I was not really sure what we were doing as far as a wedding went I finally went to a real bridal boutique. Thank gosh I did, because we ended up having a more traditional outdoor wedding with friends and family. Mimi and her crew were amazing at helping me find a dress in my budget and made everything so easy. I didn't feel pressured to purchase and I am so happy with how my dress turned out. It felt like me! I danced the night away and got lots of compliments on it.

I absolutely loved my wedding dress from Mimi's Bridal Boutique! Their on-site tailoring services were professional and the result was stunning! It was also such a convenience to be able to store my wedding dress and veil at the boutique until our wedding week! I definitely recommend this boutique for any Ann Arbor, MI bride to be!

My dress shopping experience was beyond amazing and effortless!!! I can’t express how worried I was about not finding “the” dress. As soon as I walked in I sat down with Claire, showed her a few inspiration pictures and she immediately was off to picking dresses off the racks. I tried on one of the dresses I had picked out but the second dress she chose WAS IT! They had a great selection of designers, they allowed my few friends and family to join, they were patient with me and listened to what I liked and disliked about all the dresses I tried on! I honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Wedding planning can be stressful but the dress shopping should be fun and Mimi’s exceeded my expectations!!

I visited 6 bridal shops and Mimi’s was by far the best. Small, intimate, a true boutique offering surprisingly economical options. Everyone is so kind and accommodating. I’m thrilled to have purchased my dress from them and will recommend you any bride.

Great Service picking out my Wedding dress!

I visited a number of bridal salons in the southeastern Michigan area where I live for my Florida wedding and Mimi’s was far and away my favorite. They had such a wide selection across price points that I found the perfect dress and they were so accommodating of my taste and needs. Cat was so sweet and she remembered me the second time I visited and the dress I bought was actually the first one she had me try on (but still humored me and let me think I’d go with something else). I cannot wait to work with Ivette on the alterations and the custom veil we have planned.

After trying on over 70 dresses at a number of bridal salons and havin a very bad experience at a bridal salon in Indianapolis, Mimi's was a breath of fresh air! Every team member is kind, supportive, patient, and helpful. They really listened to my likes and dislikes and helped me find my dream dress for my 1/4/2020 destination wedding in Arizona. You can't go wrong with Mimi's!!

Salwa was amazing! She knew what looked good on me before I even knew! But more importantly, she let me find that out on my own. She found dresses that fit what I had wanted to try, but also pushed me to step outside of that just a little. Because of that I was able to say yes to the dress! Having lived in another state at the time of selecting a bridal gown, I came to Mimi's for alterations having purchased a dress elsewhere. The team at Mimi's was incredible. Never once did I feel like I was treated differently because I didn't purchase my dress through them. I knew from my initial appointment to receive a quote for alterations that they had my best interests at heart and were going to take good care of me and my dress! Their attention to detail was astonishing, little things that I would have never thought of were clearly explained and discussed with me from the cut of the armpit comfort when taking in the sides to the type of hook or button used in my bustle. They were kind enough to help me take a video to show my out of state matron of honor and mom how to bustle my dress and included tips and tricks! My alterations were done beautifully, including very intricate beading that had to be removed and then placed back on the dress. I looked and felt my best! I have since returned to Mimi's for my gown cleaning and preservation.

Where do I even begin? Being the pickiest bride on this planet, I had gone to 15 bridal shops to find my dream wedding dress. Not only did Mimi's have the most beautiful selection of dresses, but the staff really made all the difference in my experience. Yvette quickly became like family (we ended up inviting her to our wedding because we loved her so much!). It was very obvious her mission was to make her brides the happiest they could be on their wedding day. It was never about the sales and I never felt pushed into making a decision, as I had been at multiple other stores. After selecting my dress, Yvette and her staff worked endlessly to alter it to the exact changes I had envisioned. They put up with my constant calls and fit me in for appointments whenever I needed. Yvette kept the store open after hours for me countless of times to work with me on creating my dream dress and they really went above and beyond (more than I could possibly put into words here). A special shoutout to Rachelle for putting up with my indecisiveness and working tirelessly to create 3 BEAUTIFUL sleeve options for my big day. My dress was absolutely perfect and I can't thank the team at Mimi's Bridal enough!

I had a lovely experience with Mimi's Bridal. For my 2nd time around, I had an elopement/destination wedding and only a couple months to plan. I was a walk in without a scheduled appt and Mimi was very accommodating to assit me. Yvette, one of her sales personel, ended up picking out a dress I would have never thought looked good on me but she definitely has a knack for it because I loved it enough to purchase it. The appts that followed were handIed by professional , courteous and down to earth ladies. I would highly recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Mimi's Bridal Boutique! Although I wasn't successful in finding my dress there, the staff was so attentive and helpful in suggesting dress after dress. I was able to try on a lot as they get you in and out of dresses quickly. I would recommend anyone try shopping here for their dress!

This was my fourth bridal appointment and the previous I did not feel as though I had a true connection with the specialists. I had read numerous great reviews about Mimi's and now understand why! Their sales people are experienced and are like a family. They want to work with you and your budget for you to get the dress of your dreams. I wasn't persuaded to try on something I was not interested in or something that was hundreds of dollars outside my budget. There was no pushing and it was great! It was truly the best experience I could have asked for!

I cant say enough about Mimi's Bridal! This was my 4th appointment I had. The first 3 were horrific- nobody asked me any questions about what I wanted, about my wedding, or listening to my feedback. From the second I walked into Mimi's they knew exactly what to put me in, they connected with me and really found out what I was looking for. I found my dream dress at Mimi's and I didn't even know what I wanted until I tried it on. The staff was very helpful even though they were busy. They even squeezed us in the following day so that my future mother in law could be there to see the dress as well.

Mimi's was amazing! I had origianally purchased a dress because it was cheap, and I thought I could make myself love it. But after alterations, I hated it, I called Mimi's they had me bring in my original dress, and helped me try on new dresses. The ladies in Mimi's were amazing, and they placed my in some very beautiful dresses. They worked with my budget and kept me within what I wanted to spend. I loved my experience at Mimi's and can't thank them enough for making me look beautiful on my wedding day.

Mimi’s did an outstanding job organizing our bridal party’s dresses. They turned out beautifu! The staff members were helpful, friendly, and had reasonable prices for high quality gowns.

Mimi's was awesome! They had a ton of dress choices and were super helpful narrowing down what I wanted. I actually wasn't sure I was even going to wear a dress, and Clare was extremely understanding of that and really just let me guide the process and insta-veto a bunch of choices that didn't feel right to me. In the end I wound up with a beautiful wonderful dress that I absolutely love! Even though I started shopping for my dress super late, they were able to get one in on time for my wedding. I also want to mention, for those of you who are looking for someplace like this - everyone we talked to at Mimi's was LGBT friendly and no one batted an eye when my soon-to-be wife and I walked in both looking for dresses there. They don't have any lesbian wedding photos on their website, which made me a little nervous going in, but don't worry! They are totally cool and we didn't run into any trouble.

Mimi’s was amazing. The girl who helped me was so kind and helpful. I had an idea of what I wanted and she brought in dresses exactly what I asked for and a couple Other styles I wouldn’t have typically chosen for myelf for fun. I ended up picking a dress she chose for me that was totally the opposite of what I thought I would get. Had a great experience at Mimi's! Called and scheduled a last minute appointment and they got me in right away. I worked with Salwa and she understood what I wanted better than I did! I loved each and every dress I tried on. The quality of dresses was great and Salwa helped me think through each dress and my preferences. The owner of the store met with my mother and I and helped get us a deal on the dress I loved. I wasn't expecting to buy a dress that day and left so excited about my purchase!

Clare did an amazing job helping me find the wedding dress of my dreams! She really listened to what I wanted/my style but was not pushy or overly opinionated. The boutique has a wonderful selection - including my favorite designer Hayley Paige. All of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They have many different options for payment plans, which I really appreciated! I would highly recommend Mimi's to any bride searching for her perfect dress!

Dress shopping here was a breeze! The dress I chose needed a lot of alterations, but the staff at Mimi's has exceptional attention to detail and delivered exactly what I was hoping for! Their prices are reasonable and they deliver great service. I wore my mom's veil, and when we brought it in for my dress fitting they offered to steam it and have it ready to go when I picked up my dress, which was just one less thing for me to worry about! I couldn't be happier to have chosen Mimi's for my wedding.

My entire experience from start to finish deserves 10 stars!! From the minute I walked in, I knew I was in great hands! I went in looking for one specific gown, but after I met with Salwa, she encouraged me to keep my mind open and to give a few more gowns a try. Luckily I listened to her, and found the gown beyond my wildest dreams!! The ladies of Mimi's were more than accommodating of my need to purchase my dress on a payment plan, and helped me to create a solution to paying for my dress in a way that worked very well for me. I had lost a considerable amount of weight between purchasing my dress and the date of my wedding, and the ladies of Mimi's flawlessly tailored my gown to make it the perfect fit for my big day! I had not wanted to wear a veil, but after my now husband insisted I have one, I discussed my options with the ladies at the shop. When they discovered they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, Rachelle custom made my veil to be EXACTLY what I had hoped for- and it was the perfect accessory for my big day! I am honestly sad my wedding is over as I no longer get to spend time with the ladies of Mimi's, who made my wedding dress experience one I will truly cherish for the rest of my life. I tell everyone I know, once you're ready to find the gown of your dreams, Mimi's is the ONLY place to go!

Dress shopping was so easy thanks to Mimi's. I actually drove from south of Toledo to shop at Mimi's and I'd say it was definitely worth the trip. Looking online, it seemed like they had a good selection of designers in the "nice-but-not-ridiculous" price range. I wanted a dress shopping experience (and dress) that felt more personal than a Big Box Store like David's Bridal, but I didn't want to spend my whole wedding budget on one dress. Mimi's is in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. The interior feels cozy and intimate, and the staff make it feel very personal. You really have your consultant's full, undivided attention during your appointment. The dressing rooms had a lot of privacy and I felt like I could show off dresses to my family and get their opinion without having to worry about random opinions from strangers or drama from brides in the other dressing rooms. It felt like we had the store to ourselves (even though it was bustling with other brides.) My appointment was with Najla who was incredibly helpful. She was knowledgable and professional and able to give some constructive advice about what styles would look good on me, but she wasn't too pushy. Mimi's had a lot of variety of dresses and Najla encouraged me to try on a lot of different styles and helped me narrow down dresses I liked best. Eventually, I found "the one" -- the dress that really felt like me. It was such a beautiful dress -- elegant, but just a little playful. Najla suggested a long veil to go with it, and it was the perfect touch to complete the look (also really fun for the photographer!). I got so many compliments on it on my wedding day. Mimi's sized me correctly and the dress arrived well in advance of the big day-- it fit me perfectly with almost no alternations (I had the straps taken in slightly and a bustle added.) The dress was extremely high quality, and looked a lot more expensive than it actually was. I had thought dress shopping would be a big ordeal, possibly having to go to many stores and spend multiple weekends trying to find "the dress." It turns out we were done by lunchtime, and I spent the rest of the afternoon with my family eating at Zingerman's and window shopping in downtown Ann Arbor. I am a very satisfied bride. I have nothing but great things to say about Mimi's Bridal Boutique. We ordered the bridesmaid dresses for my wedding from here and they were wonderful! The fitting was fun and stress-free, the ordering process was smooth, and picking up was super simple. While I did not order my wedding dress from Mimi's, I had them do all the alterations and they did a fantastic job! I would definitely recommend Mimi's to any bride out there!

Choosing a wedding dress was something I was almost dreading with how particular I can be. Clare at Mimi's made those fears melt and took amazing care of us! We had a blast, found a dress, and couldn't decide at first. The second time we went back, Clare was super helpful again and this time we found THE dress! I had an amazing experience at Mimi's! First, let me brag on the store in general-- it is so elegant, private and comfortable inside down to the restroom, which made the whole process more calming for me. Additionally, they have a gorgeous selection of quality gowns with a nice range of price options, much better than another ann arbor wedding gown boutique I had called--I won't mention any names here but I was basically told not to waste my time or theirs as they didn't have dresses in my budget range. I have also been to David's bridal several times for friend's weddings and wasn't thrilled with the selection or experience. At Mimi's I found 2-3 dresses I loved right off but wanted to be sure, so we continued to pull and try on multiple dresses and then narrowed them down by trying on my top 3 choices again at the end. They were very patient with me throughout the process and not at all pushy. All of the staff I have worked with and spoken to have been so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! They are also genuine and personable, a joy to work with, which I have found to be rare in Ann Arbor in general. They made the process effortless and worked with my timeline, this was a huge deal as I ended up moving last minute, prior to having it altered. I bought a sample dress as the designer line of my dress was not being sold there anymore, so it had to be taken in quite a bit. They worked on alterations until I was completely happy with it and it only took 2 alterations to get it to that point-- because they listen and know what they are doing! The dress fits perfectly, I feel so confident in it and I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day! I have already recommended them to a friend and she ended up getting her dress here too! It looked amazing and she loved it! I cannot say enough good things about Mimi's. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience and a stunningly beautiful gown!

Long post but super helpful information! I called ahead because I found a dress online that I fell in love with. No other place in Michigan was carrying the dress. I went into Mimi’s to specifically look and try on that dress. When I went in I fell in love with the dress- it was GORGEOUS!!! The person helping me said they would measure me at the front and that the dress would be fitted to my exact measurements taken and that I wouldn’t have to do any alterations or very little because they are using my exact measurements to make the dress. I was excited to have the dress tailored to me because I was already going a little over budget to get my dream dress. Also, the lady helping me said the veil I picked out could have a second layer added so I could have it go over my face and that she would tell them at checkout to order it that way. We also discussed having my belt not sew onto the dress so I could wear the belt again after the wedding. When I went to go pick up the dress when it came in - that’s when the nightmare started. When I tried the dress on the person helping me said I should loose 10 pounds and the dress would fit better. (Mind you when I went into the shop to order the dress I was pretty recently recovering from a stroke and was a little heavier then because I couldn’t walk. When I went to try the dress on after the dress was made I had lost 8 -10 pounds). So I had this lady telling me I was fat and needed to loose weight and if I gained even one pound I would ruin the dress. She constantly kept putting me down in front of everyone I brought with me. My friends and family stood up for me and the lady kept telling them I needed to loose weight for the dress to look better. I also got my veil that day and it did not have the second layer to go over my face. And my belt did not have anything to attach around my waist- they told me that was done in alterations. I went home crying. I then called back to talk about my concerns and they told me to come back into the shop to see if they could work things out. Again, they put me with the same lady - who never once apologized. She told me that she had other brides wearing the same dress and they gave up breathing and sitting in the dress to look good in it and I should be like them. She again told me I can’t gain even one pound. Then they told me I should have been told about alterations being so much extra(but didn’t say it was their fault - they said every bride is told this but I was not), they never showed me the size chart and let me pick the size I wanted (they chose the smaller size hoping I would fit into it), and even the owner never apologized. They gave me a blusher which was nice but would have been nice if I received the correct veil instead of having two pieces to put into my hair. Now I’m left insulted and hurting. I have to pay way more to have my dress let out and my chests area made smaller, I have to deal with the belt situation also. The employees and owner here always made excuses to me and made it my problem(never theirs). They never once apologized or acknowledged my concerns. I left feeling hopeless and sad about my wedding dress not even wanting to try it on anymore.
