We are so happy that we chose Minnesota Valley Country Club as our wedding venue! We booked prior to the renovations in the spring of 2024 which made the venue even more beautiful on our wedding day. The photos do not do the place justice. The natural light was so beautiful pouring into the space. Patricia was so helpful throughout the entire process, answering our countless emails leading up to the big day. We were able to bring our decor and other items to the venue prior to our wedding day that Patricia helped set up for us which took a big weight off of our shoulders. Patricia and her staff made sure we had what we needed throughout the whole day. So many guests gave raving reviews of the food. Would totally recommend to anyone!

Choosing Minnesota Valley Country Club for our wedding was one of our first and best decisions we made for our wedding. We toured a bunch of venues, but MVCC was by far the most professional, organized, and consistent venue from the day we booked through the day of our wedding. Patricia is incredibly knowledgeable and helped us make decisions we didn’t even know we had to make. She worked with us to schedule a food trial when my family was in town from out of state and allowed my husband and I to have a slightly different food order than the rest of our guests. There are a few things that really put MVCC over the top. First, they allowed us to decorate the day before our wedding – this took so much pressure off the wedding day itself. Second, they packed up all our décor after the event and allowed us to pick it up the next day. Third, they coordinated with our other vendors to make sure they were fed, things were plugged in, and basically anything you'd need to do to make sure our reception ran smoothly. Fourth, they communicated throughout the planning process, allowing us to change our minds when necessary, and making sure we were on track with our planning process. Fifth, during our reception, all the staff were professional and quick. Everyone raved about the food, and the pacing was perfect. The experience we had working with MVCC was phenomenal, and well worth their reasonable price. I would highly, highly recommend working with Patricia and MVCC.

Minnesota Valley Country Club was the perfect venue for my husband and I to get married and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Patricia went above and beyond for us through every step in planning our wedding day. She was so helpful in answering our many questions, accommodated any requests we had, and was incredibly organized. We received so many compliments about the food from MVCC, it was all delicious! Cynthia who was with us on our day even made sure to set aside a plate of appetizers for my husband and I at our table knowing that we would’ve been too busy to enjoy any during the cocktail hour. Every part of our day at MVCC went smoothly, we couldn’t recommend them enough!

Not only did MVCC and the team make the entire experience enjoyable for the bride and groom, but also the entirety of the wedding's guests. A few specific things that stood out to us as absolutely spectacular include: Patricia Mullen's attention to detail - she knew exactly what to ask, what to suggest, and how to direct us to be prepared for our wedding day. Patricia Mullen's communication - she was so kind, excited, and professional, and we can only describe it as “on-the-ball” in all of her communication. The wait staff - we were so impressed by the thoughtfulness and attentiveness of the staff. There was someone with us to take us to the bridge for an additional photo spot, the wait staff was kind and quick with ours and our guests’ food, and they even saved us a couple snacks from cocktail hour! Turning over the room - we were so thankful for the team both pre-setting up the venue to help our family, and cleanly taking down all decorations in the same day. The care and attention given to the venue grounds were incredible. We were blown away at some of the recent building updates and the grounds were perfect as we took our pictures at the bridge. THE FOOD - we thoroughly enjoyed our food and heard from multiple people how they loved their food. The bride's uncle who smokes meat for his main hobby said that the beef was the best he’s ever had, 3 family members could not get enough of the meatballs, and another friend said the mushrooms were the best they’ve ever had in their life. The food was so good!! We will sing Patricia and Minnesota Valley Country Club’s praises all day long!

Fabulous venue! Our daughter’s September 2023 wedding was beautiful and everything went smoothly. The wedding coordinator, Patricia and her staff, were very helpful throughout the entire process. The wedding itself was set outdoors and the flowers at the country club were a perfect backdrop. Several of the guests told us that the food was just outstanding, best ever. Thank you to everyone for making the day so very special for all of us.

Minnesota Valley Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. Patricia and the team at MVCC went above and beyond to make sure the planning process was as easy as possible and the event went smoothly. We had both our ceremony and reception here and received so many compliments from friends and family. Food was great, MVCC staff was fantastic, and we recommend this venue to everyone. 10/10 - best decision we made.

Our wedding at Minnesota Valley was perfect. From the moment we worked with Patricia we had a wonderful experience. People said that out food especially the walleye was the best wedding food they ever had. Our wedding was easy, organized , elegant and a memorable experience we will never forget. First and foremost this venue was in our price range. Patricia is amazing to work with. She very fast with responding back to anything. All you need is Patricia. No need to hire another day of coordinator. Patricia is always right there ready to get things done and help make the bride feel as comfortable as she can. Food is amazing! All my guests had nothing but great feedback! Staff was also very professional! Props to the gentleman at the bar working hard all day and night! He was also one of the topic the day after, nothing but great things! Everything was great!

In my search for a venue I wanted somewhere that had indoor/outdoor options, could host the reception for 100+guests, and have great food. I want to say that the MVCC checked all my boxes, and when we first toured the place, we felt it was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and Patricia, the Director of Catering, was just the best - always making sure we had what we wanted and that everything went smoothly. It's a beautiful venue on its own, so I loved that I didn't have to worry as much about decorations. The food was amazing, and guests commented to me about the excellent service they experienced. It was a perfect day, and I am just so grateful I found the perfect place. THANK YOU!

We had originally planned our big 175 guest wedding reception here and then Covid hit. Patricia was SO awesome to work with and was extremely accommodating when we decided to downsize to just family and bridal party. We were not charged extra and payment was adjusted to fit our changed plans. The staff were wonderful and set up our room beautifully and cleaned it up for us. Patricia was very organized and always responded promptly. Her and her staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We also got many compliments on the food and had many guests say it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Booking MVCC for our reception was one of the best decisions we made. If you're considering hosting your wedding and/or reception here, do it!

I can’t say enough great things about MVCC! Patricia was incredible to work with, from the beginning to the end. We had 200 guests and they helped us make the venue feel intimate and exactly the way we envisioned. The food was incredible (highly recommend the filet with red wine reduction and the mushroom risotto) and the staff were so helpful. Our guests were commenting all night long about how smooth everything was run, the quality of service, and how much they enjoyed the food. Thank you Patricia and MVCC!

We just had the wedding reception for our daughter and son-in-law last weekend at Minnesota Valley. EVERYONE in attendance loved the event! The food and elegant setting were remarkable. They make even the smallest things special, including the home-made-smiley-face-potatoes for the kids! Even better than those are the staff, who are kind, helpful and truly gracious. They made everything look so easy, which I know it isn't. Exceptional facility, exceptional food, exceptional location, exceptional staff-- what more could you want? I heartily recommend them!

I can not say enough good things about MVCC for my wedding. Patricia and her staff are AMAZING and Patricia is so great at communication from the very beginning of booking the wedding all the way to the end. The space was amazing and she was so accommodating for everything that I had requested. The venue is extremely affordable for food and beverages for a large wedding! The venue also has amazing spots for great pictures!

The staff at Minnesota Valley are the best. Patricia worked with us every step of the way and was very quick to respond to all of our questions. On the day of the wedding she was there to meet us at the door and stayed with us through dinner to make sure everything was perfect! It was a beautiful reception and we couldn't have been happier with our choice!

Please give MVCC a look if you are looking to have a wedding in the twin cities area. Minnesota valley county club and it's staff made our wedding night such an amazing and memorable occasion. After meeting with Patricia Mullen and the rest of the planning group for a tour we knew this was the right location for us. Patricia's responsiveness was well above par and her expertise in setting up the location and how to flow through the night made our end of the preparation easy and removed SOOOOO much stress from the location side of the planning. I can't even state how beautiful the views of this location are either there are so many fantastic locations for photos on the grounds and we had so many compliments on the views and scenery from guest. To top this off the Chef (Who's name I've very sadly forgotten) prepared what is quite simply the best food I've ever had at a wedding and our guest continued telling us this for literally weeks after the big day was over. The staff themselves were also constantly on the ball I personally never ran out of a drink and they were readily attending to needs I didn't even think to worry about until they brought them up they were ahead of the curve and due to this we and our guest left the night happy without a single complaint.

The staff was exceptional day of, anticipating all our needs and being kind to us and guests. We had lots of compliments on the food and beverage service, plus on the beautiful space.

We had the best wedding ever here!!!! All the staff is extremely helpful and accommodating! Patricia was such a joy to work with! We responded to my many many emails in a timely manner and helped make our day exactly what we wanted! Patricia really cares and wanted our day to be perfect! Patricia at MVCC is wonderful! She did an amazing job making our day truly beautiful! She did a great job handling all the details for our wedding day! The golf course and bridge were a beautiful backdrop for our wedding pictures and the food was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend MVCC!

The Minnesota Valley Country Club was the PERFECT wedding venue for my wedding. The location, the amenities, the food, the service and staff are one of a kind. Patricia was single-handedly the best professional I could have ever wished for during the wedding planning process and the wedding day. She was extremely knowledgeable, detail-oriented, responsive and professional. We had 250 guests at our ceremony and reception at the country club, which Patricia was able to walk us through the space, provide us extra detail and answer all of our many questions. It was plenty of space for a larger wedding and a very easy location to get to off of Highway 100 for guests to get to. We had so many compliments on our food at our wedding, the space was beautiful and clean, the golf course was lush and green, the staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend MVCC, I could not have been a happier bride choosing them for my wedding venue!

We hosted our Company's holiday party at Minnesota Valley Country Club. The venue was perfect for our event and the food was excellent. In addition to the great food and venue, the staff was great to work with and provided exceptional service. They made planning/hosting this event very easy.

I am so pleased with everything the MVCC had to offer. Patricia, the event coordinator, made planning so easy. She offered advice when asked, returned emails at all hours of the evening, and added little touches that made the day special. The food was fantastic and the personnel were so helpful and kind. I couldn’t have asked for a better day! They also offered an extension for the dance floor which was clutch. I would recommend this place a million times over.

The venue was beautiful - everything we could have hoped for for our wedding reception!! Patricia, the Catering and Event Director, was terrific to work with! She was extremely responsive, accommodating, and reliable. She answered questions promptly (and at all hours) and fulfilled all of our special requests. We had asked Patricia check with the Head Chef if it would be possible to custom make an Asian-cuisine dish that wasn't on the menu, and the chef whipped up this amazing Bronzini fish and sticky rice dish that was delicious! The service, food and setup was all wonderful - definitely exceeded our expectations! We were also able to get in the day before to decorate, so we didn't have scramble the day of. When we got to the venue, everything was already set up and ready to go - it was stunning! Rick, the head bartender, and Cynthia, the Banquet Manager, were very helpful and accommodating the night of. Overall, I would highly recommend Minnesota Valley Country Club for a wedding reception or any kind of event!

Patricia at Minnesota Valley Country Club was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was very helpful, attentive and quick to respond. She definitely went above and beyond to ensure that the wedding day was perfect. The food was delicious and we got several compliments on taste as well as the fact that the whole table got served at one time not just the people who ordered the same dinner option. Choosing this venue for the reception was by far the best decision we made! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We went to take a tour of this venue. It is very outdated. The dance floor(not mobile) is tucked in a corner to where my DJ/MC would not be able to even be noticed by half the guests. No outdoor ceremony area and no one in the wedding is allowed outside for pictures other than the bridal party on the bridge for photos. The lady who was to help us did not seemed thrilled to have us, rushed us and we did not get a very welcomed feeling at all. I wouldn't end up booking this venue even if I liked the space due to the interaction with employees.

What a dream day it was to have our wedding reception ta Minnesota Valley Country Club. Patricia and her team were outstanding in providing their services and going out of their way to make our day special. We looked at so many reception venues but upon meeting Patricia and having her walk us through the ballroom, we knew this woudl be the one. They were able to accommodate all the things we wanted to do that day and made it go without any issues. When we had any questions, Patricia was always quick to answer our questions. And the value that they have is amazing (big bang for the buck!). The ballroom and the view of the club are beautiful. All the guests complimented us on the quality of the food and said it tasted fantastic. We received excellent service throughout the night. Having our reception there was everything we hoped for and we would change nothing about it. We would highly recommend having your wedding reception at MVCC!

Minnesota Valley Country Club was so easy to work with. The wedding coordinator we very organized and answered questions quickly. On the day of the wedding they attended to the needs of the bride and groom. The food was amazing and we still get complements on it. We are very happy with the service we received at Minnesota Valley Country Club and would highly recommended it to anyone getting married.

The venue was not only beautiful but it was extremely helpful. The Banquet planner and manager were there the whole evening. During the planning stages of my wedding, the planner would answer emails instantly. Any questions I had, she has an answer that was not only helpful but much better then I was expecting. The price was great as well! I will be planning future events there! Many friends will be going there because my wedding went so smooth as well. I had 120 guests and a bridal party of 11. My big day was perfect!! -Price includes the top meal choices and liquor. GREAT PRICE!

What an amazing venue! So elegant and classic! I knew the first time we visited the venue that it was going to be the one. Great space with an awesome view of the green course. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all done here! Patricia, the Event Coordinator, is very friendly and great at helping. She was very responsive and followed up with us promptly. She was clear on the service and catering choices. Let me say that everything we had for our tasting was exceptionally phenomenal. It was so hard to pick from all the food we tasted, but we did finally pick :). Everyone who selected filet mignon complimented how the filet was perfectly and evenly cooked (medium rare) all across the tables. The walleye and the French cut chicken are amazing. All the appetizers are so tasty and delicious. Cynthia and the banquet staff were friendly and so organized. We could not be happier than this. They exceeded our expectations! This is probably the best value of quality/service and price that we looked at out of over a dozen venues. We highly recommend MVCC to anyone looking for a classy, elegant, and phenomenal venue.

Minnesota Valley was the perfect space for us. The room is beautiful with a stunning view. The staff was very accommodating and efficient. Patricia is extremely organized and easy to work with. The food was excellent and the service was great!

We loved our experience at MVCC. It was easy to get ahold of and communicate with the staff. They always had very timely replies to our questions and requests. Everything about our day was handled with care and importance as if ours was the only wedding happening!

We had our wedding here in August of 2012. Our wedding here was beautiful. The floor to ceiling windows are gorgeous, and in some of our pictures, we actually look like we're outside while sitting at our table.It's a great deal, and the room is huge! The food was pretty good, although we were a little disappointed that the chicken penne pasta didn't taste as good at the wedding as it did during the tasting. Everything else was just as good though. Something to watch out for is if you need your hand held during the process, don't pick this site. The catering manager, who is also the person you work with to figure out all the logistics of using the reception area, rushed us through a lot of things. To get an idea, the first meeting I had with her, she talked so fast that I only understood half of what she said. If you are ok with asking a lot of questions and being persistent, then I think the deal you get here is worth it, but if not, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

We had our reception at Minnesota Valley, and it was the perfect choice. The food was excellent, the staff was organized and helpful, and the views were incredible. We were allowed to take pictures outside on their golf course, and they are some of my very favorites from the day. Everything went perfectly, and we had so many positive comments about our venue. Patricia is so easy to work with, and makes the planning process painless. It was also more affordable than some of the other places we looked into, which is a bonus!

Patricia was SO organized and made the entire process pain-less. Everything went off without a hitch the day-of, and the venue was so beautiful. The food was great, and the setting is so pretty. We were able to take some outdoor pictures on the golf course as well, and I can’t wait to see them because I’m pretty sure they’re going to be really cool. Minnesota Valley was much more reasonable than a lot of venues we considered, and it turned out just perfect. I would highly recommend our venue 

The Minnesota Valley Country club is a hidden gem in Bloomington. From our first meeting with Patricia we knew we were in good hands. All of the details of the reception were executed to perfection. Our guest were treated well and the food was excellent. With so much competition, we had unlimited choices for our "off-season" wedding. We are so pleased we chose MVCC.

It was the perfect place to have my wedding. The location was central to where everybody was coming from in town. The food was great! Patricia helped in any way she could to make it the night of my dreams. We had a little trouble with service at the head table, however, we did not have a sit down dinner, which created the wedding party to be out and about being social.

MVCC did a wonderful job from the first moment I met with the event planner on staff. She was there for my every need, and offered suggestions when I asked. The day of, the wait and bar staff were phenomenal. It was like they weren't even there, but we had everything we needed, at the same time. This all came at an extremely reasonable rate - ceremony AND reception!

Minnesota Valley Ctry Club really helped us put together the wedding of our dreams! They helped us source special cheeses, wines, and allowed time for the decorating and set up the day before. Wonderful to work with.
