Mint Julep was absolutely amazing and easy to work with. Kelsey was readily available and always had value to bring to the conversation which helped us to hold the wedding we dreamed about. Mint Julep helped us plan the wedding during the pandemic when New Orleans was still mostly closed. However, they made multiple contingencies for both relaxed and stricter restrictions from the city. We were lucky enough to have our wedding when the restrictions were relaxed and Kelsey/Riki sprung into action to help with the additional planning and coordination that had to happen to host the event. Every detail was well thought out and the entire ceremony and reception went smoothly. They were such a great group to work with and did so much to make the day one we will remember for the rest of our lives. If you need a wedding coordinator - especially for Race + Religious in New Orleans, you can't find one better than Kelsey and the entire Mint Julep team. I'd use them 100x if we could do it all over again!

Where do I even begin to thank Kelsey and Sarah - we truly could not have had our wedding in October without them! We live in a different state, and planning a wedding during COVID was a challenge, but Kelsey and Sarah not only kept us updated on what was going on in New Orleans, but when we finally were given the green light they made our day everything we ever wanted and more. Hiring Mint Julep Productions for full planning was the best wedding decision I made! I live in a different state, and trying to take on the wedding scene in New Orleans alone stressed me out. Sarah, Courtney, and Meredith handled all of the countless emails and phone calls trying to make my day perfect! The Mint Julep crew made my wedding not just possible but ENJOYABLE. Sarah, Julie, and Madeline became more like friends. The planning process felt painless because the suggestions they gave and the attention they paid to detail prepared not just myself but my family to get exactly what we wanted out of our event. WORLD CLASS. Here's the setting: bride is a globe-trotting fashion magazine editor, based in Asia. Groom is an event producer and attorney, based in New York. Throw our extremely high expectations and never-matching time zones into the mix, and you've got a recipe for miscommunication, but that heartbreak never came. If everyone in this world gave their jobs the love and energy that Sarah does hers, we would be flooded with priceless intuitive service, very clear and solution-based interactions, and absolutely stellar execution. I am floored at the seamlessness of our experience with Mint Julep. Our guests were overflowing with compliments for this team for WEEKS after our wedding, and I'm getting teary-eyed with gratitude again just writing this. Some of my favorite little moments during planning and day-of: - Sent a YouTube clip of the type of acapella singers I wanted for ceremony. Sarah goes and finds the >exact< guys in the video, and books them. - Watching incredulously as Madeline (in platform heels) hauled our luggage up flights of stairs without breaking a sweat or that genuine Southern smile - Every time I shook my head and whispered "mind reader" because they acted on things I was just *thinking* - Sarah somehow convincing our fave NOLA resto to cater a wedding for the first time (she worked them with her charm for about 10 months) - Matt Z., who they had come day-of to help out, was overflowing with good vibes! - Awesome touches like volunteering to donate our fleece blankets to the homeless after the wedding, and lending us little things here and there so we didn't have to buy them - Also collaborating with vendors to break a few rules (*wink*) just to get us the exact vision of what we wanted. I will never look at a chandelier the same way again. :) My husband and I agree that of the many decisions that go into organizing a wedding, choosing Mint Julep was the best one we made. Gift yourself. We signed a check for incredible service, but left with so much more. Full of love and warmth, and looking forward to the next time I can see these beautiful people again. We can not say enough about Sarah and her amazing team! They made planning a destination wedding in NOLA an easy and smooth process, and were always super responsive to all of our questions. The wedding turned out better than we could have imagined thanks to MJP. Thanks to Sarah and her team we were able to enjoy the day of the wedding while they did all of the work. My husband and I photographed a wedding that Mint Julep Productions was coordinating, and we were completely blown away! Sarah was due to give birth the week of our wedding so we primarily dealt with Reese. Reese was an absolute dream. She made herself totally available to us, was invested in the success of our day, and knew what we needed. She took all of our visions and worked hard to make them a reality. She and her team were all hands on deck the day of and without them, I don't know how anything would have worked. I felt completely taken care of. She took a huge weight off our wedding party and us. Can't say enough good things about Reese. She's a rockstar and I would highly recommend! Also after doing a ton of research, I found Mint Julep to be one of the best priced out there!

Sarah and Mary Katherine are wonderful. They made planning a New Orleans destination wedding a breeze. The put us in touch with some great vendors, arranged our room blocks, and answered what seemed like 1,000 questions along the way. *best event planner EVER* Sarah recently helped my (now) fiancé plan the most dreamy, beautiful engagement I could have ever imagined. With less than 48 hours notice she was able to make magic happen - working with a nervous man I might add! She arranged a place, time, photographer, candles, champagne and the most gorgeous flowers I've ever seen. She also had my mom on FaceTime right away and made my fiancé feel cool calm and confident. She was able to provide a pedi-cab service and make reservations at Brennan's in a beautiful upstairs room with all of our friends (there was also a personalized menu with ourhashtag... I mean the cutest). I was totally surprised and still have not come down off cloud nine. Sarah is a truly gifted event planner - she has an amazing laid back but confident personality and gets the job done with a smile - she loves her job and her clients. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for that particular bride/client. A true wedding magician! And a bonus: you will have so. much. FUN with her! As all brides know, planning a wedding is not the easiest, and I'm in the throws of it as we speak. Sarah and Mary Katherine of Mint Julep Productions are amazing! They have made the planning process so easy and fun (which I didn't think was possible). My wedding is coming up on December 27th, and they have helped me with everything along the way. From the florist, to caterer, to rentals, and even my dress and the littlest details. After telling them my style and budget, they recommended the perfect vendors that matched my taste. I am SOO excited for my big day, and they have made everything so easy and stress free. They love what they do, and it really shows. These girls are a must have for planning your perfect wedding day. I couldn't be doing it without them and I'm so thankful!

I can't imagine a more perfect wedding planner than Mary Katherine (from Mint Julep Productions). We could tell from the moment we met her that she genuinely loves planning big events, is sharp, organized, and knows how to throw a great party. When it started raining on the morning of our wedding Mary Katherine in typical form was really upbeat and reassured me that everything was going to be perfect and that the rain would cool things off, then go away in time for the ceremony - which it did! During the wedding, there were a bunch of different things that were supposed to happen at specific times - the actual ceremony, first line, cocktails, toasts, cake cutting, dinner, more toasts, dances, sparklers, etc. Everything magically took place according to the schedule and we didn't have to worry about anything. The only question Mary Katherine asked me at the reception was what drink I wanted when I didn't have one in my hand. We signed up for the "Day Of" planning package, but really got help for the entire week of the wedding. It was a really great investment because it took all of the stress and coordination responsibilities off of our shoulders on our wedding day, which allowed us to spend time with our guests and enjoy our wedding. I would highly recommend Mint Julep Productions if you want a stress free wedding with a professional, upbeat planner.

Sarah and her staff bring their A game!! Our wedding went off without a hitch and I have Sarah to thank for that!!! They handled every request I had with such professionalism and helped make my day everything I dreamed of! They made me feel like I was the only bride they were working with. Sarah and her two assistants, Mary Katherine and Sarah Beth, were at every meeting with all the vendors, double and triple taking notes so I didn't have to remember a thing!! They suggested great vendors. They made every gift box for the hotels and delivered them and the gift boxes came out precious! There are so many great things to say about Sarah and her team! The day was perfect and I'm so thankful to them! I wish we could do it all over again!! :)

Working with Mary Katherine and Sarah was such a joy. We did most of our planning long distance, so having two people in New Orleans who could really help us execute was huge. They were easy to work with and made the last week an absolute breeze. We opted for the "Eye Opener" and "Tying the Knot" Packages - but looking back we would totally pay for the whole shebang. Wedding coordination was worth every penny. Sarah embraced my creative vision and then kicked it up a notch! We will never forget our wedding day and how easy the Mint Julep team made it for us.

Sarah and Mary Katherine were phenomenal and I really don't think our wedding would have come together without them. We are so grateful to them for making it a complete success! I am an out of town bride so I chose Mint Julep for month of wedding coordination. Mint Julep took care of all of my rentals, linens and alcohol and were so helpful in creating a timeline for us and reaching out to all of our vendors. I pretty much just showed up a few days before the wedding and barely did anything! On the wedding day--they were indispensable. Our wedding had a lot of food and drink stations set up on the grounds and in the venue and Sarah and Mary made sure everything was stocked and perfect throughout . They are so sweet and fun to work with, our guests commented throughout how helpful they were in and they were always there for me when I needed them--to help me get out of my heels, hand me a cocktail and to even sew a rip in my dress!

I used Mint Julep Productions for my March 2015 Race & Religious wedding. From the moment I chose my venue, I knew I wanted MJP to coordinate my wedding. I opted for the day of coordination, mostly because I had almost 1.5 year engagement (so I had time to plan), and also because I was a bride trying to adhere to a budget. I will tell you if there is anywhere I would NOT cut a corner, it is with hiring a quality coordinator (such as these ladies). Wedding planners take such a burden off, especially during the final months/weeks prior to the big day. In hindsight I probably would have opted for a longer package, because they were such a pleasure to work with. They handled everything with grace and ease. I only just recently found out (almost two months later) from my mother in law, that my groom's cake did not get delivered initially by the cake-makers. These girls assured that the cake returned, and I heard nothing of it. They assembled all of my table displays beautifully and better than I envisioned (cigar bar, guest book table, wedding cake table, etc). Sarah and Mary Katherine are hilarious, open-minded, and always ready to handle any situation. I never believed the statement- your wedding will be the best night of your life, but I can assure you- it was! By the end, you will be sad the experience is over, not only because it was so well executed, but because you will miss being in their company :) Thank you Sarah and MK for everything

I am generally very organized, and I thought for a long time that I could pull off planning a wedding without a wedding coordinator. I was SO wrong! It is impossible to coordinate with vendors, bridal party, and family on your wedding day AND be able to enjoy yourself. Working with Sarah and Mary Catherine was the best, most important decision of my process. Sarah is a complete pro, going through my details and schedule with her completely calmed me down in the thick of planning. On the day of the wedding I realized how much I needed her. So many unexpected things happen and she always had the answer. She is two, no FIVE steps ahead of everyone. Fellow brides, this is the best gift you could give yourself - a relaxing wedding day! Sarah and Mary Katherine of MJP went above and beyond on the day of my wedding to make it the most memorable day of my life. I hired them for the day of coordinator but they were so much more! From decorating the event space exactly as I imagined it would look, to stepping in to ensure all of the vendors were on point so the night went exactly as planned, they were there to make sure the entire event was flawless. I would recommend the day of coordinator service by MJP to the bride that has their own vision and wants to plan themselves, but that does not want to have a single worry on the day of and wants to place their trust in a team that has her best interests in mind. My wedding day was flawless and completely care-free thanks to Sarah and Mary Katherine. I opted for the 30 day package and it was perfect. They took over finalizing all of my plans and really stepped up the day before the wedding when we had a severe family emergency, taking EVERYTHING off of my hands. I had a vendor cancel on my the afternoon before the wedding day, within 1 hour, they had found a replacement. The day of the wedding was such a breeze - my bridesmaids complimented on how relaxed and stress free everything was. I had forgotten a few items at home, and within minutes Sarah or MK was handing me what I needed. These ladies are top-notch professionals that you can trust with any and every detail. Sarah is everything you could want in a wedding planner and so much more. I was a bride that thought I would be able to do it on my own; I thought "I totally have this." True, I know what I like and I know how to plan a party, but your wedding day is no ordinary dinner party. Sarah was and is my wedding angel. I literally would not have been able to handle everything without her. Not only did she refer fabulous vendors to me, but she managed my fiancé (who is the love of my life, but a complete procrastinator). She managed my out of town family (including my mother who hasn't thought about a wedding since hers in the 60's). She helps you with your budget, and your timeline and your pictures that you wanted to incorporate of your grandparents and parents but you don't know how to. She knows how to handle a party so YOU, the bride, can focus on being with your bridesmaids and family that have flown in across the country, and sip champagne and have someone do your hair. And that cousin that is too much to deal with, she will handle her too. She made sure that everything was taken care of, and she was pure joy to work with. She gets back to you quickly; she takes care of you as if you were her own sister. I will forever recommend her to any friends or acquaintances that are getting married. Her assistant, Mary Katherine, was wonderful as well-a true extension of Sarah, herself. If I didn't have their help, I would have surely eloped. We hired Sarah and Mary-Katherine for a 30-Day package, which included Day-Of services. They did a great job of everything from contacting vendors and making sure all contracts were accounted for to researching decor options, organizing our timeline and making sure all details were finalized (and paid for on time). As far as advertised services goes -- they delivered on all fronts. When we were thinking about hiring planning services, we were nervous about getting someone who would be stuffy and over-controlling, and the Mint Julep ladies are the exact opposite. They are laid-back, flexible and fun. They helped throw together many last-minute details without breaking a sweat, and they made us feel calm and comfortable throughout the entire process. On the big day, they were always there making sure we had a drink in our hand and asking if we needed anything, and put out a few fires behind the scenes so we didn't even know anything was going on. We really appreciated their attention to detail and wish we could have gotten to spend a little more time with them! Our only critiques would be we got married during the busy season, and they had a wedding almost every weekend leading up to ours, so naturally communication could've been better, but we can't fault them on that. On the day of, we could've used a little better time management leading up to the ceremony, as photos ran a little late and it was a little hectic when guests arrived way earlier than expected. Overall, if you're getting married at Race + Religious, I definitely recommend hiring them as they know the property better than anyone and have worked with just about every vendor in the city. They also make every worry you have seem to drift away. I'm not sure how we could have pulled off our wedding without them!

I was very impressed with Sarah and her team. They truly made our special day that much more special. They really thought of everything that needed to be done that day and did it all with a smile. They exceeded my expecatations. They made sure all of my vendors were ready for the day, took all of my decor and placed everything around the venue perfectly, and coordinated the entire weekend wayyyy better than I imagined. At first, I was a little nervous about putting my special day in someone else's hands, because I am extremely picky, but we could not have picked a better wedding planner. Sarah made sure the vision we had for our day was made a reality. She brought up things I would have never even considered. Her impeccable taste and eye for detail made my wedding an event to remember for everyone. She really knows the vendors in the South Louisiana area and was able to find the perfect ones for me...all while remaining within my budget. She also handled the inevitable bumps that occur during the planning period, which allowed me to enjoy my wedding planning experience and relax on the big day. I could not have been happier with her work! Not to mention...she is so incredibly FUN! She can make anyone feel like her best friend (which is such a plus for someone planning one of the happiest days of your life). Sarah and Mint Julep Productions were the perfect fit for my Northshore wedding! We knew there were lots of little details that we wouldn't have been able to handle without a coordinator and she knew exactly what I was thinking before I even had to say it! From helping to book our venue and church, all the way to getting us to the church, down the aisle, and then second lining to our venue, everything went perfectly!! We can’t thank Sarah and her team at Mint Julep Productions enough for making our wedding day such a magical and special day. Planning a destination wedding from California seemed daunting until we brought on Sarah and Mint Julep Productions. From our very first meeting in New Orleans Sarah had things under control, taking us to vendor appointments and guiding us along the way while keeping us on budget. But Sarah’s real magic came out when she was able to book our “inspiration band” Amanda Shaw and the Cute Guys to play our reception, for real! I still don’t know how she pulled that off. Our wedding was at Race and Religious which is an awesome venue. On the day of the wedding all we had to do is show up and get ready. Sarah and her team handled the set-up and tear down taking all the stress and worry out of the day. We were able to enjoy our friends, family and the moment. When we got back to our hotel room not only was there rose petals scattered everywhere but they had brought over our stuff from Race and Religious along with chilled champagne and leftover food. It was awesome. I now wish I had another event to plan so I could work with Sarah and her team again!
