Working with Catherine was one of the greatest decisions we made in the entire wedding process. In the planning stages, Catherine put me at ease from the start. She was so kind, so fun to work with, she understood the design of what I envisioned far better than I could describe, and she connected me with a florist that exceeded everything I dreamed of. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Catherine took over most of the vendor communication and worked out all the finite details with our venue, which was such a relief to us! I was already so thankful to be working with Catherine, but this became even more true on the wedding day itself. My husband and I both felt we were actually in the moment throughout our wedding day thanks to Catherine - because of her, we were able to spend ample time with the wedding party, have fun, and relax. Even when there were certain moments of "crisis," Catherine handled them calmly and quickly, and she only came to us when she absolutely had to. I can be anxious, but Catherine was so calming and never, even for a second, let us stress about the logistical pieces on the day. Could not recommend highly enough!

We are SO happy we worked with Catherine and the Mirth team for our wedding! Our wedding was a semi destination (we were planning from across the country) and having Catherine ready to take over logistics for the last few months and day of execution was easily one of the best decisions we made- and originally we had not planned on hiring anyone to assist. From our first call, Catherine brought a calming energy and although we did not do full planning services for us, she was available for any questions that popped up prior to her official taking over and she stayed active throughout the process so by the time she did “officially” take over she was already up to speed on our vision. We booked our venue sight unseen and she took all of our notes, questions, and concerns and had answers and recommendations for everything after she visited the site. She was so responsive throughout the process, made it clear that her objective is for the couple to have the day of their dreams, navigated strong personalities with ease (we have a lot of type As! ), and when it came to the days leading up to our wedding day and day of she and her team absolutely crushed it. She made sure my husband and I were not only where we needed to be throughout our wedding events, but also made sure we had time just the two of us to take a few moments and absorb how amazing the day was. If you’re on the fence about day of coordination, I can honestly say the investment was beyond worth it and allowed us to be fully present and enjoy our wedding day. As someone that plans and executes events in my career, I can truly say you’ll be in the best of hands with Catherine!!

We hired Mirth for day of coordination for wedding. Catherine was the absolute best! She really provided month of coordination, and was such a big help in finalizing everything for our wedding day. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I have no doubt Catherine was a big part of that. We highly recommend Mirth!

I highly recommend hiring Catherine for your wedding! It was one of the best decisions we made! From our first contact to the hug at the end of the night, Catherine was responsive, professional, calming, and just a delight to work with. We were lucky enough to work with her for our daughter’s June 2023 wedding. She took our vision and made it a magical reality! I’ve said it a million times to everyone I know and I’ll say it again - hiring Catherine as our Wedding Coordinator for our New Years Eve wedding in Boston was HANDS DOWN the best decision and investment that we made in the wedding planning process. After just one conversation with Catherine, my husband and I felt that we naturally just ‘clicked’ with her. She’s so warm, down to earth and experienced in the wedding planning industry, and we knew immediately that she would take care of all of our worries and look out for us and our needs on our big day. Catherine quickly became our go-to resource on all things wedding-related. Because we had a wedding on NYE, we wanted to make sure that no detail went unnoticed and that we really threw an unforgettable party. Catherine helped us identify our “missing gaps” and the final details that would really help bring our vision to life. She presented different options for additional vendors we could hire / details to consider that would really take our wedding to the next level. Catherine was absolutely critical in helping to keep us sane and organized in the final weeks leading up to the wedding. She put together an incredibly detailed timeline for us, and took over the role as primary contact with all of our vendors. She worked closely with all of our vendors to coordinate timing and ensure that everything went smoothly. In the final weeks, we really didn’t have to speak with our vendors at all regarding final details - Catherine handled it all. You can’t put a price on that! With so many logistical components to consider, the reality of any wedding day is that challenges / hiccups can and likely will pop up during the course of the day, and having Catherine in our corner to take the lead, find solutions, and put out the fires in realtime was invaluable. For example, it rained on our wedding day and Catherine brought these adorable, clear umbrellas for us that made for the most beautiful photo op that found its way onto our Thank You cards! Another example- one of our transportation buses broke down and Catherine saved the day and had another one sent - we didn’t even find out until after the fact because she handled it behind the scenes. Finally, one of Catherine’s assistants had a last minute emergency and wasn’t able to join us, and we didn’t even know about it because she had a back-up assistant ready to go. I’m sure there were other minor hiccups throughout the day that we don’t even know about because Catherine handled it all behind the scenes so that we could stay focused on enjoying our day. If you hire Catherine she will be your biggest advocate throughout the planning process and on your big day. We can’t thank Catherine enough for everything that she did for us. She was our biggest asset come wedding day, and our day wouldn’t have run nearly as smoothly without her. She’s simply the best and we 100% recommend her!

Hire. Mirth Events Co. Now. My husband and I got married mid-June in the midst of both of our busy seasons at work. We knew that because of that, we had to hire a wedding planner to help us with the final last few months of planning and decision making. Needless to say, we started and ended our Wedding Planner search with Mirth Events. Catherine, the owner, is not only incredibly personable, but from our initial conversation with her, we could tell she was organized, thorough and detail oriented. Due to having hired most of our vendors prior to hiring Catherine, we decided to go with her Wedding Managment package. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Catherine handled all of our vendors and the questions they had for us. One of our vendors in particular was giving us some issues with lack of response, and Catherine was the calming presence we needed in reassuring us that even if worst case scenario happened... she already had a plan B in place. How's that for organized?!! Not only in the days leading up to, but on our wedding day itself, Catherine handled everything seamlessly. She was the perfect combination of professional yet warm... even admitting to getting teary when I walked down the aisle. Like I said, hire her. Let her handle the logistics so you can fully embrace your special day. Catherine, we love you and thanks for making our day that much better.

We received Catherine's details from the event coordinator at our venue, GarageB, as we were looking for a day of coordinator and she was wonderful pulling together all the last-minute details. Catherine coordinated a day of wedding schedule (including details down to the minute) to ensure all vendors, guests and family were where needed to be at the correct time. She independently communicated with the venue, rental provider, band, caterer, photographer, hair and make-up and transportation provider to confirm everything was all set. Catherine seamlessly moved from location to location ensuring staying calm and stress free. I could not recommend Catherine and her team enough!

Catherine was a life saver; I would hire her again in a heartbeat. I hired her for day-of coordination and I cannot recommend her enough. She made sure our wedding went smoothly and was organized, communicative, prepared, friendly, and a joy to work with.

Catherine was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and really helped my wedding vision come to life. Catherine was truly indispensable on our wedding day. She was supportive, organized, and cared deeply that my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. We had some rainy weather that threatened our outdoor wedding vision, but Catherine was able to keep me calm, come up with solutions to weather-related issues, and fought to have our wedding outside. Catherine & Mirth Event Services were wonderful for our June 2022 wedding. She created a custom package for us, for design + month-of. She is perpetually up-beat and went with the flow as we pivoted, backtracked, and changed our minds. We only wish we had begun working with her sooner! If anything went wrong day-of, we had no idea!

Catherine was hands down the best investment we made into our wedding. I was back & forth on hiring a coordinator but after one chat with Catherine it was clear that I wasn’t going to be able to pull off my semi-dyi wedding without her attention to detail and can do attitude. Our rehearsal & wedding day were both exactly as we envisioned from timing to table settings — Catherine was on top of it all. I could go on & on about how wonderful an experience we had with her- just do yourself the favor & hire her team!

After 2+ years of wedding planning due to the pandemic, our only regret is that we didn’t work with Catherine and Mirth Events Co sooner. Catherine handled the day-of wedding coordination for our wedding in August, and I immediately knew we were in good hands when she was up to speed on years of nuances in only a few short weeks. On the day of the wedding she handled each and every one of our questions/requests (and probably many others we were blissfully unaware of) with such ease, understanding, positivity, and attention to detail. We truly don’t know how we thought we could handle the day without her - we are forever grateful, and can’t recommend her enough!

Catherine is amazing! She takes everything in stride and no problem is too large or small. Not only is she super organized, knows exactly how things should be handled, and provides the best advice you could ask for, she does it with such a calming presence it's hard to feel anything but super prepared for your big day. Where do I even begin? My friend’s advice to me was “hire a day of planner.” Little did I know, that was the best advice anyone has ever given me! You don’t realize what goes into your big day, until someone walks you through it! That is exactly what Catherine did. She is patient and kind, and handles even the most difficult personalities (you know you have that one relative, or in our case! Pianist) 😉 Catherine’s attention to detail, perfect execution of all our wants and needs, and overall knowledge of just the wedding business in general was nothing short of amazing. I plan to only get married once, but wish I could get married 100 times just so I could hire Catherine every time! She made sure everything was covered and that any glitches were never even mentioned to me! She kept me calm and relaxed and I felt completely confident leaving everything in her hands! Catherine was such an angel. She worked so hard to make our day perfect and I will be forever grateful for her. We booked Catherine very last minute for a wedding this year it it was the best decision! Our wedding was definitely a non-traditional wedding, not just because of COVID but because we aren't tradition people in general. She made putting together the final details of our day so much easier than I ever could have imaged. She's not just professional but incredibly kind and patient.
