A huge thank you to the entire Mission BBQ team! From Kathryn who helped with setting up and planning for our event to the servers the night of our wedding, everything was great! The food was AMAZING!

Mission BBQ should be the caterer for your wedding, PERIOD. We used the Charlottesville, VA location for our wedding day and we had the most AMAZING experience with their catering process. Communication was fantastic, we were able to update our preferences at any time, their service (set up, serving, and cleanup) was incredible, and the food on our special day was TO DIE FOR. To add to the already amazing experience, they gave us plenty of boxed up food to take to our honeymoon, and it tasted as fresh as ever! All love for Mission BBQ from us - go check them out!!

Mission BBQ catered my wedding and they were fantastic! Their food is incredible and they give you so many different options. They bring their own decorations so you don’t have to buy any. I would highly recommend.

Wedding food has never been a fave of mine (typically dry, un-flavorful), and after attending an onslaught of new and postponed COVID weddings over the past year, my husband and I decided we wanted our guests to actually ENJOY the food at our wedding. As soon as we saw Mission BBQ was an approved caterer for our venue, we knew what to do. We originally worked with Sunny, who was so helpful answering any and all questions both via email and phone, and sending over a proposal super quick! When Sunny moved to a different position at Mission, she made sure to introduce us to our new point of contact, Kathryn, who was just as amazing to work with! Kathryn attending the final walk through at our venue and took detailed notes (even reminding me of some of the things we had discussed when I had my final review with her the week before our wedding). Mission BBQ provided full service catering (setup of ceremony and reception tables and chairs, buffet service, cleanup, etc.) and were absolutely amazing. We received so many compliments on how good the food was and how seamless everything went! I'm hoping our friends took note and we'll get to enjoy Mission at some of the weddings we attend in the future :)

Mission BBQ catered our wedding, and it was the best decision we could have made. Not only do you get guaranteed incredible food, but their staff and service were top notch. They helped set up the venue, provided us bartenders, and even helped clean up at the end of the day. For the best wedding caterer, you should go with Mission BBQ.

Andrea G. Was our point of contact. And although we had to delay our dream wedding for a year they were more than happy to work with us and never applied any fees for the changes we made. Andrea's team went above and beyond, from Andrea herself deciding the best set up for our space to decorating the buffet to match our other decor. The set up was so elegant and let's be honest EVERYONE loves a good plate of Mission BBQ. The team even personally served our one vegetarian their meal! I can not say enough about how grateful I am for all of their professionalism and expertise. Dont delay, dont even think twice. Just book them!

Mission catered our cocktail hour and reception for our wedding on September 4, 2021. Sunny Baldwin was a dream to work with-so incredibly professional and flexible through all of our COVID wedding trials and tribulations. The staff member who delivered and organized our buffet and cocktail hour table did a phenomenal job! Let me just tell you…we and our guests could not stop raving about how incredible the caprese skewers and smoked shrimp cocktails were! We ordered brisket, turkey, and pulled pork with coleslaw, mac and cheese, and green beans-absolute perfection and far exceeded our expectations.

Mission catered our wedding back in October and was amazing! Staff was fantastic and it was such an easy planning process. They even gave us a wedding card!

Mission BBQ is my husband and I’s absolutely favorite BBQ. When we learned that they cater weddings, it was an easy decision. But we did not expect the service. When I say they know how to cater a wedding, I mean it!!! Alyssa and her team in Davie, FL were fantastic!!!!! The food was better than ever! Mission BBQ is an excellent option for your wedding day! Darcy was very helpful when planning and her team takes care of all of the little things when the day grows nearer. The food is spectacular and we still get compliments from our guests months after the wedding. One piece of advice is to definitely trust their numbers. We ordered extra of certain items at the request of family and ended up with more extra food than we had thought (this worked out well for feeding out of town family, though). The salmon and the macaroni and cheese were our favorites for sure, but guests loved EVERYTHING! The catering staff we ended up with was a little young and a little green so there were a few small things that deviated from “The Plan”, but all went smoothly in the end. Our captain was wonderful and made sure we had food set aside for us before everyone else and made sure we had exactly what we wanted on our plates, to boot. This was great because we’d heard so many stories from friends about how they never had time to eat at their wedding or the food ran out before they were able to get to it. While neither of us were able to finish our meals (Even at a sweetheart table!), we at least managed to eat a bit of something delicious amidst the joyful chaos. Honestly, the experience was great and the food quality and value can’t be beat!

The food was great and all our guest enjoyed it. However during the planning process I was bounced around to so many people it was overwhelming and it felt like things were getting lost in translation. And once I decided to not have servers they were very pushy about me having someone here even though they wouldn’t be serving which rubbed me the wrong way. Their customer service could have been a little better.

The food was amazing as always! Wedding guests are still talking about it 3 months later!! Thank you for a delicious spread and a very reasonable price!

Mission BBQ was absolutely wonderful to work with! Everyone raved about how great the food was, the staff was very accommodating, and planning was made easy. Working with Mission BBQ was a great experience!

Phenomenal. They took good care of our wedding guests. Everyone was so happy, and no one went home hungry. Their table decorations were beautiful, and they did it all themselves. Only good thing to know is that they will be expecting a gratuity on the price of the entire bill, not just the staffing.

Darcy and her team are beyond amazing. She is very approachable and quick to answer any questions and above all she is honest! Our original caterer cancelled our contract less than 3 months before our wedding and Mission BBQ was able to save the day for us. Our venue (Irvine Nature Center) had an exclusive caterer (which you had to book the wedding through) so Mission was not familiar with the set up or the venue, but they did everything in their power and then some to make our day memorable for all the right reasons. Weeks before the wedding, at the walkthrough, we were thrown a curveball and our old caterer (still involved because they book the venue) gave Darcy additional responsibilities that a caterer would not normally have to do and she handled it with the upmost professionalism despite being treated with disrespect from VP of our old caterer. Darcy and her team were able to take care of all the additional tasks and make our wedding run smoothly without any additional stress added to us. We would 100000% recommend Mission BBQ for any event big or small. They are a full service caterer and Darcy even took care of our linens for us. She is a lifesaver and we are forever grateful for her and Mission BBQ.

As we all know, the food from Mission BBQ is incredible. My husband and I didn't even consider other caterers, because we love Mission BBQ that much. Everyone enjoyed the food and there was only scraps left at the end of the night. Thank you again!

We had the Lexington Park, MD restaurant cater our wedding and they were the talk of the night!! The BBQ we served at our wedding all tasted fantastic and all our guests enjoyed. We got the cheesy potatoes for our dinner buffet and I think I have gotten more compliments on those than other aspects of our wedding :) They provide us with allergen information, too, which is great when you have guests with the whole gamut of allergies. When we went to Missing BBQ in Lexington Park to do our tasting, Melissa and her team made us feel so welcome. They even packed up extras for us to bring home! That along with the entire mission of Mission BBQ, made us confident we were choosing the right place for our wedding. The servers day of were also amazing and helpful!

Everyone loved the food! The price is excellent for all they provide. The display was elegant and servers polite. Unfortunately, they showed up an hour and 15 minutes late, so our guests did not have appetizers right away. We had asked that the salmon be cut in half and it wasn't. We ordered extra food, but we didn't need it. We had a ton of left overs. It all worked out and we were given a generous refund, but it was a close one. We still love mission bbq tho. =)

Great food, nice set up, super staff

Catering was reasonably priced, service at the wedding was great, and the food is awesome. We did have some issues with our invoice a few times but Mission BBQ was quick to correct the issues we had. In all, a great choice for catering.

My husband is a police officer and I am in the fire department. Mission BBQ has been one of the restaurants we frequently visit especially because of their support for military, police, and fire.. but they also have incredible food! I've never eaten a thing there that I didn't love! I've been going to their first restaurant in Glen Burnie since they opened!! It was clear we would be booking them for our wedding when we first decided we wanted casual delicious food! Mission did not disappoint!! Everyone loved the food and we will continue to book with them for events in the future! Additionally it was very affordable!! The quality of the food for the value is unmatched!! Go do a tasting and book with them! You will not be disappointed and neither will your guests!! Might just have a hard time deciding what from their menu to serve cause everything is just amazing!!

Food was delicious!! Caterers went above and beyond to decorate buffet tables and provide supplies outside of what they had to supply. Very good for the price and easy to work with.

This was the best decision we made for you wedding! They were very helpful determining servings, provided a free tasting and the set up was beautiful! I really appreciated their communication the entire time and the food was amazing. We were able to keep the left overs and still have some in the freezer! They even sent a tin of cookies and a congratulations card shortly after the event. Really really great vendor. I will hire them for any future events.

We could not have asked for more delicious, home cooked food for our wedding! We wanted to keep our food simple, but delicious! Mission BBQ had fun and professional caterers and Darcy made planning very easy!

We had Mission BBQ cater our wedding reception and they did not disappoint! They even brought the truck when I requested they do so! When they finished setting up early, the workers offered to help set up anything else we needed them to do. They were a delight to work with and many people went back for seconds. Somehow it tasted even better than the chain restaurant!

Amazing! Great food, great service, and at an unbeatable price! We opted for a casual outdoor wedding and Mission BBQ was the perfect choice for our event. Darcy is fantastic and knowledgeable and really helped us through the whole process. I definitly recommend them!

Mission BBQ was the best decision we made for our wedding. After starting the process of planning, my thoughts immediately turned to thinking about what we were going to do about food. Everything was so expensive and nothing was working out. Then I found Mission BBQ. The price was right and who doesn't like BBQ? After an AMAZING tasting, I knew this was going to be our caterer. After answering tons of my questions, the big day finally arrived and it was better than expected. I didn't know how people were going to react to a non-traditional buffet, but everyone was thrilled. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and accomodating. Darcy and her team went above and beyond when it came to making our day special. To say it wouldn't have been the same without her would be an understatement. I highly reccomend Mission BBQ for your event. Not only is their food amazing, but their mission is one anyone can get behind.
