Mission Point exceeded all expectations! They were absolutely amazing to work with from the start of planning down to the wedding day. Emma, Jen and the entire team, were friendly, helpful and always available to answer questions and assist with anything. Our guests raved about the food and service that Mission Point provided! The morning after the wedding, Mission Point staff helped load up all our decor/wedding boxes and got them on the ferry to the mainland for us. From jumping around to different rooms throughout our stay, moving boxes/luggage, dog sitting services, accommodating late checkouts - Mission Point staff helped every step of the way and made the whole weekend seamless and stress-free . We cannot say enough great things about planning a wedding at Mission Point with Jen and Emma!

The day started off to a rocky start when they lost some of my packages and put it another room, missing some of our food items, chairs were not set up on time. Staff was lovely however you should allow Newley weds to be checked out late.

If you want a magical Mackinac Island wedding, we highly recommend Mission Point. We got married at Mission Point and I can’t recommend it enough. It is a beautiful location, great resort, stunning grounds and amazing lake-front views. We had our ceremony on the lawn facing the lake, and our reception was in the Summit Room. If you haven't seen the Summit Room, I recommend looking it up. All the windows make for an amazing view. The MP staff was amazing to work with. They were quick to answer questions and so helpful the entire way through. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they recommended to us, which was perfect because those vendors already know how to navigate the ferry ride over to the island. Over all, we had an amazing experience working with Mission Point Resort.

We booked Mission Point Resort for our wedding July 2nd, 2022. At the time we were living in another state (we are both originally from Michigan though), and flew back to visit this venue. We immediately fell in love with the views and the idea of getting married on an island. We had 150 people attend and booked the Gazebo for our ceremony and the Cypress Room for our reception. We planned a Welcome Event for our guests on the Friday night that everyone was arriving at the Promenade deck. Michaelena and Andrea were both incredible to work with and made wedding planning from far away possible. They also made sure the wedding day / weekend went smoothly and were always there to answer all of our questions. MPR gave us all the resources we needed and incredible vendor recommendations. They made wedding planning so easy! There is even a salon / spa onsite that you can hire to do your bridal party’s hair and makeup, which I highly recommend. Our guests raved about the service and bartenders at our reception. We stayed in the Tranquility Suite for the long weekend, which had 3 French doors to a terrace with gorgeous views of the Straits. It was the perfect spot for our first look and the photos turned out incredible. The entire property is beautiful. I highly recommend having your wedding here, everyone went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Mission Point as a wedding venue! We had our ceremony at the gazebo and our reception in the Summit Room. Our Conference Service Manager was Jen and she helped us coordinate leading up to the wedding and the day of. Everything went so smoothly. We were very impressed by the coordination amongst vendors with the venue and the amount of wait staff provided to us. I couldn’t have had a better day!

We booked Mission Point for our wedding back in summer on 2021, and from the get go they were so helpful in planning everything for our big day. The two planners we worked with, Michaelena and Jen, were excellent in their communication and were able to help us get all the details together while living in another state. The day of went off without a hitch. Jen made sure everything and everyone was in place, and the entire day went so smoothly. She also made sure we got to taste all of our food and kept our drinks full while we were busy taking pictures and socializing. I would 100% recommend Mission Point as a wedding venue, and can't wait to return for years to come to relive the whole experience!

Mission point is a beautiful resort. Most of our guests stayed at the resort and made a long weekend getaway out of the trip. It was nice to see friends and family before & after the wedding. We had our ceremony at the gazebo and our reception on the promenade deck. Gorgeous scenery! They offered a tasting before the wedding and the food was delicious. Jen our coordinator did a great job! Very responsive and professional with all of our requests and needs. The scenery is mainly what sold us on the spot. It was a beautiful day everything was perfect! We highly recommend Mission point for your wedding destination. SN - Bellhop went above and beyond! We had mimosas delivered to Lakeside salon (on the grounds of the resort) while getting hair and makeup done. Fun experience, great staff!! We used local vendors referred by Mission Point. Very happy with all of them Photography - Sarah with Wonderful photography. Beautiful pics! She knows the island very well! Flowers - Jay with Webers florist. Our bouquets were gorgeous! Charles - A list Entertainment Joanne's fudge shop made personalized boxes of assorted fudge for our wedding favor. 😋

As a person who will over research every decision in life, I landed on MPR for our wedding and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Every staff member was helpful and made us feel heard with answering questions and bringing our vision to life. We worked with Michaelena to book and then worked directly with Jen for our wedding planning. Saying that Jen went above and beyond with our wedding planning is an understatement. I handed items off to Jen upon our arrival such as our favors, our heirloom ring bearer pillow, extra decor, etc. Jen made sure all the items were in their spots at the right time and made sure to deliver them back to our suite at the end of the night. Jen navigated our rain backup location SEAMLESSLY, with no stress on my end. The full staff for our wedding were professional in their rapport and a joy to be around. Our wedding was everything we could have wanted thanks to MPR. They are true wedding experts, our vendors and MPR collaborated impressively and our wedding was just idyllic. Our family and friends continue to tell us that we had the best wedding food and a very fun party to follow. Also, my husband and I forgot our cake topper at MPR once we left the island 2 days later. And to our complete surprise, one of the managers met us at the Mackinac city ferry dock with our cake in a cooler. Please, look no further than MPR for your wedding, it will be the wedding of the year!

Great venue with beautiful views during the ceremony and the reception. We had our reception on promenade deck and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. They have arches and decour to rent, but we were able to bring our own arch (that broke down) and our own centerpieces.

Can’t recommend Mission Point enough! We started planning for our September 2022 wedding in May 2021 & throughout the entire process Michaelena & Cassie were there to help things run flawlessly! We used the Cypress room for our reception & the front lawn for our ceremony. Our guests loved the scenic views during our ceremony & used the patio to cool off during the reception. Our day overall felt like a fairytale! So amazing & perfect!

My husband and I started planning our wedding in Fall of 2020. When we toured Mission Point, we met Michaelena and immediatley knew that Mission Point was our venue! We fell in love with the Islands charm! Planning a destination wedding is not a easy task, but Michaelena and Andrea were quick to respond to my numerous emails and were so helpful the day of the wedding! The venue grounds is gorgeous and well kept filled with flowers, but the venue itself needs some TLC. Specifically the Tranquility Suite. The doors leading out to the private patio were in rough shape making them difficult to even open, and there was some loose stones by the steps of the patio making it dangerous to walk on. However, our room was clean. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our whole wedding weekend! If you're looking to get away with you family and friends to celebrate your special occasion, Mission Point is your venue!

Mission Point Resort hosted our wedding on August 20, 2022. This is the most beautiful place to host a wedding. The staff was phenomenal and very accommodating. They brought my visions to life and went above and beyond what was expected. We are forever grateful to share the memories of a lifetime at our favorite place on Mackinac Island.

We began planning our June 2022 wedding in the fall of 2020. I had a lot of anxiety about planning a destination wedding from afar but our conference services rep Jen made it so easy! Communication was great leading up to and throughout our wedding weekend. Everything came together perfectly and far exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful to everyone at Mission Point for helping us to have the fairytale wedding we dreamed of.

Mission Point is an incredible place to have a wedding. I cannot speak about the staff: I dealt mostly with my own wedding planner, and my MP planner, with whom I had some very minor communication issues, actually left the job the day before my wedding and no one told me. MP is so used to weddings that it might not occur to them how incredibly nervous some brides can be—I for one could have used a little soothing! However, I'm sure my experience was atypical and certainly the wedding day went very smoothly, so they were all prepared for that. The best part is the location; the gazebo is a stunning place for a ceremony and the promenade is airy and beautiful—the kind of place you never want to leave. And although we had beautiful weather, I was impressed at just how many contingency plans MP had for rain, which was one less thing I had to worry about. Another real highlight was the food—although I, as the bride, barely ate anything, our guests were raving about the meals and the presentation days, even weeks later. The only suggestion I would make would be the edition of something "special" in the bridal suite—a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, a fruit bowl, something like that. But it was absolutely beautiful, even "magical" —something else that my guests and anyone who views the pictures is still talking about! I couldn't imagine a more beautiful wedding than what I was lucky enough to have—Mission Point comes highly recommended!

We got married at Mission Point June 4th, 2022 and cannot recommend it more! If you are looking to have all the classy charm of Mackinac at a gorgeous venue with the humility, familial atmosphere you cannot go wrong. Ceremony on the lawn was stunning, the Tranqulity suite was a dream to get ready in and the Cypress reception room was gorgeous. St. Ignace floral for the flowers was incredible and works regularly with MP to pull everything together. The food was incredible and they really went out of their way to help us pull of some custom arrangements: band, decor, food from the water color cafe during the day, I really couldnt' be more grateful for ALL of the staff who supported our special day with a bold smile and welcoming attitude to all our guests. We will forever be raving fans!

I got married at Mission Point in June this year and I cannot tell you enough about how perfect my wedding was. They have an incredible team (I absolutely recommend Michaelena and Jen to you all!), they made preparing for our wedding fun and were always available for any questions or planning. The promenade deck is an excellent location for the reception and we loved our ceremony on the lawn in front of the water. Everyone raved about our food, though particularly the seafood bar - anyone who gets married here needs to get that, it blew away our expectations. They have a salon on site for getting your hair and makeup done, and even have a salon suite that you can book for the day to get ready in with the bridal party. My experience overall is that all of the wonderful people at Mission Point made the day even more special - they care and do everything under the sun to help you from booking through the wedding. They are incredible at making your dreams come true. I wouldn't change anything about my perfect day!

We were able to have our dream wedding at Mission Point over the busy labor day weekend and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. It was a combination family vacation/wedding event. Despite other weddings going on at the same time as ours, we felt like the center of attention and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breathtaking view from our table during the reception in the Cypress Room of the beautifully blue Lake Huron is forever ingrained in my mind. It was an amazing experience having all of our friends and family together on the island, Mission Point felt like one big family reunion at home with someone else taking care of all the details. Everyone was able to have an amazing time, and we have successfully set a high bar for weddings within both of our families. The event planners helped make sure we got every detail right going into the wedding, and even went out of their way to help book a dog-sitting appointment with the concierge for our beloved pet who was part of the ceremony but ready for a rest during the reception. During the event, all the staff were helpful and went out of their way to treat my husband and I as guests of honor. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. One of my favorite parts of the planning process was just endlessly going over the menu and daydreaming about the food options we ordered. The location is perfect, right outside of town but still accessible to the state park, so many first timers to Mackinac Island are now hooked on the experience at Mission Point. I hope to have a reason to plan another family event at Mission Point again in the future!

Our August wedding at Mission Point was beautiful and we could not be happier that we chose this venue. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout ever step of the process. They worked with us to reschedule due to the pandemic and were kind and understanding throughout that very difficult process. They made it very easy to plan from out of town and helped us bring everything together. Andrea was there to help out with anything little thing we needed on the weekend of our wedding, which was so amazing and took so much stress out of the day! Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful the food was. I would highly recommend Mission Point for a Mackinac wedding, especially if you are planning from out of town!

I'm biased, but thanks to Mission Point, we had the greatest wedding of all time. Michaelena, Andrea, and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly to make sure that we had a fantastic experience, and we are still, a month later, glowing over how incredible the wedding was. They went out of their way to make everything special. I even just offhandedly complimented the masks the employees were wearing, and Andrea sent me some as a wedding gift. I was just blown away by how excited and invested everyone was in making our wedding a special day. And I could not be more grateful for how incredible they were at helping us reschedule our wedding in the middle of the pandemic. I couldn't say enough great things about this venue and its staff. Thank you all so much for the most wonderful day of our lives (so far)!

We were married on Aug. 24th, 2021 at Mission Point. It was the best day of our lives. Everyone from Jackie our wedding coordinator to our waiter Ned, to all the service at the hotel was exceptional! Above & beound!

We got married on 7/3/21 at mission point and it was the most magical day of our lives. I highly recommend that anyone from Michigan get married here on the island. It was affordable, accommodating & dreamy.

We recently had our wedding ceremony at the Mission Point Gazebo. It was the most gorgeous setting for our Mackinac wedding and made the perfect backdrop for our photos. Michaelena and Jen were a pleasure to work with - very responsive to my many questions, proactive, and professional. The majority of our guests stayed at the resort and loved it. We recently had our wedding at Mission Point Resort and our wedding weekend and day far exceeded any expectations we had. The entire Mission Point team was incredibly helpful, caring, upbeat, supportive and seemed to genuinely care that we chose their resort to celebrate our wedding. Not a thing went wrong, but if something had, we are confident the Mission Point team would have figured it out and made it right. Our guests were just as impressed and we are already looking forward to our next trip to the island and visit to Mission Point. You can’t go wrong booking a trip or event here!!

We had a small wedding of less than 30 guests and ALL Mission Point staff from start to finish were amazing! Their preferred vendor list was amazing and super easy to use as well!

We were recently married at Mission Point this past July. We could not have picked a better venue or more professional group of people to work with. Absolutely everything was stunning. Our wedding felt magical and Mission Point went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Our Conference services manager, Andrea Crawford, was professional, elegant, calm, thoughtful, and so very helpful. She kept everything smooth and under control and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Michaelena Waite was our Wedding Sale Manager at the beginning of our agreement process. She made sure that all documents and contracts were transparent and there were never any surprises to us. The communication was excellent and there was never a question that went unanswered. We cannot thank Mission Point enough for our experience. We were amazed by their professionalism and how incredible everything was. Better than we could have ever imagined.

I searched for venues all throughout the Midwest and the Mission Point was the best I found! The large lakefront open space was perfect to host our ceremony, with the water in the background. The newly renovated Promenade Deck was a large space with an amazing view of Lake Huron, the front lawn and Mission Point. It has a nice lower portion where we had our cocktail hour, then we had our reception under the pavilion, which had great lighting and air flow. The Mission Point staff fully catered to every need we had from the first steps of planning, through our event, and a follow up recap after. All of the hotel staff, restaurant staff and Lakeside Salon staff were very accommodating! Special thank you to Andrea and Michealena who were there every step of the way making sure we were happy, they did their job well and then some! Our guests were very happy to stay at our venue and we loved that the hotel is a little out of downtown so that it gave another side of the island to enjoy. We recommend getting the Presidential Suite for the Bridal suite, it was perfect, with an amazing view! We loved MP's restaurant Bistro on the Greens, the coffee/ice cream shop, bar and gift store! We highly recommend getting married at Mission Point and are thrilled that we did!!!The island is so charming and quaint, and MP adds an even more special touch!

This place and staff are amazing. Everything was so easy, Jen Lehman always went out of her way to make sure I had everything and didn’t need anything else and that included the day of and during my reception. All of the staff there are really friendly and joined in on our festivities. I 10/10 recommend having your wedding at Mission Point!!!

We got married at mission point this fall and it was incredible! They did such amazing job in every aspect. The planning was so easy with constant communication. We had some stressful times because of covid 19 and regulations changing but it all worked out really well. Brenden and Andrea were fabulous and thought of every detail. The team and mission point are very knowledgeable, attentive and kind and made sure the weekend was everything we could have hoped for. We used the gazebo for the ceremony which was beautiful and we were able to use the promenade deck for the reception. It was a perfect venue. The food was great and drinks were excellent. Demar was our bartender and he was a blast as well. We would highly recommend mission point!

Planning a wedding during the middle of a pandemic was supposed to be stressful, but my wedding planner (Jen L) from Mission Point was always on top of everything for me. She helped us plan the most perfect day and stay at Mission Point. I had never been to this resort, but we chose it because of how dog friendly it was. The resort was beautiful, the employees were friendly and helpful and everything turned out perfect without any problems. Even the weather was great, which is really saying something for our ever changing weather patterns up north. I cannot say enough great things about Jen and Mission Point. We can't wait to come back to Mission Point for vacations in the future and remember our perfect day!

As one would expect, planning a 2020 wedding had some extra challenges. Andrea and Michaelena were phenomeonal in how they handled every twist and turn. Every question and concern we had during the planning process was considered and addressed in more detail than we could have imagined. When wedding day came and we had to make changes due to the weather, both of them were there to support us and help us make the decision that was best for us. Up until the last minute they were willing to do whatever they could to make our day absolutely perfect. Every single person at Mission Point went out of their way to make the experience amazing, safe and special for each and every one of our guests. From Demar making our littlest flower girls feel special with fancy kiddy cocktails, to the concierge who fixed all of our luggage snafus (sorry about that), everyone felt so comfortable and taken care of. Had it not been for the diligence of Andrea, Michaelena, and the ENTIRE Mission Point Staff we would not have felt comfortable having a wedding this year with our loved ones present, and for that we are eternally grateful. We would highly recommend having a wedding at Mission Point, and we look forward to creating many more memories here.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect. With everything that happened with the pandemic we had to make a decision to switch our venue and cancel our original plan in Metro Detroit. We decided to do a small intimate wedding on Mackinac Island and they made it so easy to plan on such a last minute notice. From being very receptive to our emails and every question we asked they made replanning our wedding a dream. We could not have imagined a better day! Andrea Crawford was amazing on the day of the wedding and helped make the day perfect even with the threat of bad weather. We still were able to have our wedding on the front lawn and no rain! She helped with ensuring the flow was smooth and that we had no stress. We are so happy with our decision to get married at Mission Point and cannot wait to visit in the years to come. We would recommend Mission Point to everyone!

Intimate Wedding with Ease After canceling our wedding 2x due to covid, the pro-team at Mission Point finally helped us make our wedding dream a reality. Part 1: The Resort -- The nearly 20 acre property is incredible and couldn't be more picturesque (see photos from lawn of our ceremony). It's main competitor on Mackinac Island is the famous Grand Hotel. It has the Grand beat in so many areas - price, relaxing/not stuffy vibe, and location right on the water. We love how dog friendly the resort is - our golden retriever (and best man), Mickey, made friends with Nick, the resort mascot (I believe an Australian Shephard who is incredible and his owner is the amazingly kind concierge). This place is hands down one of the top 5 places we've ever stayed. Part 2: The Wedding Planning & Executing Staff -- Michaelena Waite & Andrea Crawford are the power duo of wedding planning. Picture the exact opposite of Franck Eggelhoffer & Howard Weinstein from Father of the Bride. They were not pushy, stressful, demanding at all! Throughout the process, the continually amazed my husband and I with their unending kindness, patience, ability to help guide us the best decision, and in no small feat - navigate continually changing covid regulations! They are the real deal - I can't imagine anyone being better at their jobs than these two. They helped us turn a non-traditional room on the property (see photo of reception) into our ideal intimate wedding venue, were our advocates throughout the process, and talented beyond belief. Whatever they make, they should get a raise for the ridiculous year with which they have had to navigate keeping a full wedding docket planned and executed during this ever changing, world of unknowns we are all living in that is 2020 with the coronavirus. They navigate this with a grace and professionalism that is unmatched. If it isn't clear yet, I think the world of them both, as does my husband and any of our wedding guests who interacted with them. You will not regret having your wedding here, as this power duo will make sure it is a seamless, enjoyable, and stress free event for you. Also, shoutout to the great bartender we had and the excellent servers for our reception - they were all wonderful. They even packaged up the leftover charceuterie from the cocktail hour for my dad to pick up the next day so nothing was wasted. Part 3: The Salon: This will be the only negative part of my review. As this was a covid wedding & we had no idea who would be able to show up, we did not have a bridal party. I simply wanted my mom and I to get our makeup done and get blowouts for our hair. I reached out via phone and email numerous times to the salon, & everytime was responded with a lengthy multiple pages long wedding contract. Weeks before our wedding and with a dog going through chemo treatments, while working full time, reading through a contract just to have my hair blowdried for volume and makeup put on was just not something I could add to my plate. To get around this, my sister in law was making appointments for her, her sister, & my mother in law to get blowouts, so she added my mom & I to her appointment so we could get an appointment w/o a contract. Ultimately, they charged my mom for ALL of the hair and makeup appointments and added 25% gratuity and I had to redo my hair entirely as I looked like Shirley Temple. Everything else about the experience at Mission Point was 10/10. We hope to go back and celebrate there often!

I cannot recommend planning a wedding with Mission Point more. Working with Michaelena and Andrea was a dream. They were extremely attentive and accommodating especially since we were planning in a middle of a pandemic. They kept me up to date with the ever changing government restrictions. We had the best day celebrating with 110 of our closest family and friends. Mission Point is beautiful, we had our rehearsal dinner on the Promenade Deck and our reception in the Cyprus Room. With the groom coming from Chicago we worked with the chef to have a Chicago hot dog and Detroit Coney bar for our late night food. I wish we could do it all again, they really made us feel like family.

Michaelena and Andrea are PHENOMENAL. We can truly not thank them enough! Everything went together so smoothly and flawlessly. Beyond happy with how our wedding turned out. Our guests cannot stop talking about it!

Absolutely amazing! Mission point has been great from day one. During our planning, the pandemic happened and everyone was so accommodating and helpful. It put us at ease. Jen Lehman was who we worked with until the very end, and we can't thank her enough for everything. She went out of her way, gave us weekly updates every week from the governor regarding the pandemic, and was so kind and thoughtful. The resort is beautiful and all of our guests loved it too!

After postponing our big wedding because of COVID my fiancée and I decided to elope just the two of us. We went with the elopement package which included a boutonniere, bouquet, ceremony officiant, 5 course meal (up to $100) and ferry tickets. It was a fantastic experience. The staff were so caring and sweet. They even went out of their way to help us find a photographer who worked at the resort and last minute came to the rescue to take pics for us. When it rained they brought us in to a gorgeous room and put together an arch that had real flowers decorating the top. I’m so happy we chose to elope here and would definitely recommend it.

The entire staff at the resort were so helpful in planning our wedding ceremony. They were receptive to changes and very informative when we asked questions. The entire day was completely stress free thanks to their organization. We absolutely loved having our wedding ceremony at the resort.

We got married 7/2020 at the gazebo and the location was perfect! There’s a lot of natural beauty in the surrounding area so there was little need for decorations. Mission point did a great job to make sure we were prepared and had what we needed

Absolutely gorgeous place to be married. Mission Point made our wedding dreams come true. We were married at the gazebo with only 9 guests, followed by a dinner at Chianti. Although we are Kentucky residents, the dedicated coordinators at Mission point took care of everything so we didn’t need to worry about the long distance planning. Our day went very smooth and as planned! Thank you Mission Point!

We had a small, intimate wedding of 30 people during the pandemic and it all was perfect. The wedding coordinator, Andrea Crawford, was very helpful and promptly responded to all my emails. I’m addition, my grandmother attended the wedding in a wheel chair and the hotel was more than accommodating to her. The appetizers and dinner for the wedding were delicious. The whole wedding was outside but, they were ready for a backup venue if it rained. Andrea was super organized throughout the whole process which made it the wedding planning and day very relaxed. I highly recommend Mission Point for your wedding venue.

In May of 2019 my fiancé and I eloped at the beautiful Mission Point Resort. The day was flawless due to the attention, consideration, and professionalism of the staff. Mission Point offered a complete package which included the use of their lake front gazebo, a warm and kind pastor(Marie) who performed our nuptials, stunning brides flowers and a boutonniere from St Ignace in Bloom, an absolutely fabulous dinner with wine from Chef Matthew, and an out in this world multi layered wedding cake! Lindsay from Mission Point coordinated everything, and she was outstanding! We arrived as hotel guests and left as friends.

The individuals at Mission Point were wonderful to work with. As a destination location for the wedding, they were highly responsive to emails through the planning process. They were highly accommodating when dates/times to go up there were a challenge to plan on our part. I received numerous compliments about how well Kristen and her team coordinated the events of the day, along with the quality of the food served at the reception, and the friendliness of the wait staff and bartenders at the reception. We had our wedding ceremony at the waterfront gazebo, and the reception in the Colonial room. I would highly recommend looking into Mission Point as a wedding venue-- my husband and I have no regrets and only happy memories!

Our wedding at Mission Point was absolutely perfect! We were married at the gazebo and had an intimate dinner at Chianti with our guests after. From the planning process to the actual wedding everything ran so smoothly and we couldn't have been happier with how it all turned out. I also had my wedding hair and makeup done at their salon and everything was exactly how I wanted it. I recommend anyone looking to get married on Mackinac island to get married at Mission Point!

Having our wedding a Mission Point was one of the best decisions we've ever made. My husband and I knew we wanted a "destination" wedding and Mackinac Island was the perfect option for us. From beginning to end our experience was enjoyable, and every person we came in contact with during the planning process was great. Our wedding coordinator Kristen was an absolute dream to work with. She was more than willing to answer all of my questions (there were A LOT), and was very timely with her responses. She helped to coordinate our rehearsal as well which was great since we did not hire a wedding coordinator outside of Mission Point. The night before our wedding she even helped us set up, staying well beyond the end of her day, and the next day helped us pack everything up. Any future bride will be extremely lucky to work with her! Every small detail was attended to and our reception venue, the Cypress Room was breathtaking. Having the option to have our cocktail hour on the deck was very convenient and our guests loved it. We got so many compliments about the friendliness of the staff at the reception as well as how amazing the food was. The banquet menu offers a large variety of options to fit the needs of most any guest, they are great about accommodating allergies as well! The bartenders at the reception were amazing, and by the end of the night were out on the dance floor with us! Wedding planning can be very stressful, but the entire staff (hotel, servers, bartenders, coordinators, etc.) at Mission Point made it so pleasant. We are so grateful for Mission Point helping us to create an experience we (or our guests) will NEVER forget! Best. Day. Ever. We plan on going back every year for our anniversary.

We had an intimate wedding at Mission Point. A beautiful ceremony on the lawn and reception on the Promenade Deck. Planning a destination wedding can have its challenges when you have to plan through email and phone calls but Mission Point made it so easy! Kristen was such a huge help to us and made our wedding day easy and fun. I wouldn’t have changed a thing and I would recommend Mission Point to anyone who wants to get married on Mackinac! Attending the bridal show they offer was also a huge help to getting information on island vendors.

My husband and I got married at Ste Anne's Catholic Church and had our reception at Mission Point in early June of 2019, and I would recommend it to anybody considering getting married on Mackinac Island. The staff was so easy to work with, and the food was AMAZING (we had a buffet) even though we could not taste test (we live 4 hours south of Mackinaw). The Summit room (where we had our reception) was so beautiful, with brand new hardwood floors, and 3 of the walls were windows overlooking the lake. Anybody considering having about 100 guests should look into this room. It had all the beauty of having an outdoor wedding (because of the gorgeous windows) with all the benefits of having it indoors. And because it limited my guest list to 100, and the room was so beautiful I only needed minimum decorations, the wedding definitely did not break the bank. And the surrounding gardens, lawn, beach, gazebo, and even Mission Point itself serve as beautiful backdrops for pictures.

Originally, my husband and I planned to have our wedding at the Promenade Deck. However, Mackinac was unseasonably cold/rainy so we had to move inside. Our original back up location wasn't quite large enough so we were moved into the Cypress Room. It was a beautiful space. Lindsay even went the extra mile to make sure we got the beautiful cafe lights. It was a blessing in disguise because we ended up loving the Cypress Room more than the Deck. Everyone at Mission Point is incredibly friendly. They worked well with our wedding planner, Carole. We started our day at the salon and the staff was incredibly talented. When arriving at the reception, everything was set up perfectly. The food was amazing. All of our guests loved the stations (especially the potato bar and dessert bar.) Beautiful location on the water. We loved that it is a short walk/carriage ride from Ste. Anne Church. We had 50 guests.

Had our wedding there on July 27th 2018. Lovely venue and accomodating staff. Really worked with our budget and timeline. Overall, we would recommend them.

My husband and I were dating long distance for a few years before we got engaged on Mackinac Island. So, when it came time to pick a location for our wedding, we both agreed that Mackinac Island would be perfect. Mission Point Resort offered a wide range of options for all of the events we were wanting to host for our out-of-state guests. We had a welcome reception/rehearsal dinner in the Colonial room, our ceremony at the gazebo, our reception in the Cypress room, and a farewell brunch at the courtside patio. Our coordinators were extremely helpful and we were able to personalize everything exactly how we wanted, down to the smallest details- we even built our own menus for each event. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all of our guests had a wonderful time, and that my husband and I had the best weekend ever. It was such an unforgettable experience and I HIGHLY recommend Mission Point for anyone wanting to get married on the island.

Our wedding at Mission Point was just perfect!!! We were married in August and had our reception on the Promenade Deck. The view of the lake was gorgeous and the flowers around the venue were beautiful. We worked with Lindsey Marks and she was fabulous. She was always available, always helpful, and always pleasant. We had a cocktail hour and a sit-down dinner and the food was excellent. Our guests were very complimentary and we were very pleased. It was a wonderful experience.

Had our wedding here in September and it was the most PERFECT day! Everyone was so helpful and made our vision come to life. Layne the event coordinator was very nice to work with. Would do it all over again there!

My fiancé and I always wanted to get married on the island, but we weren’t sure where. We looked at Mission Point and both fell in love! Everyone involved made it so easy!!! The day of our wedding the weather wasn’t the best, but without missing a beat the were able to make the indoor ceremony and repetition wondeful! Everyone was obsessed with the food as well as the extras (cider/donut bar and pizza). Absolutely would recommend to anyone!!

We had a beautiful wedding at Mission Point. All of our guests loved it! The food was great and the staff was amazing. The event coordinator was great the day of the wedding. Had a little miss communication between the event coordinator about pricing on some things so be sure to ask questions to clarify. It was truly amazing thank Mission Point!

Our wedding ceremony took place at the Gazebo and the reception on the Promenade Deck. Everything was so beautiful and went off without a hitch! The food was amazing and all of our guests enjoyed themselves. Mission Point could not have done a better job!

Mission point was very accommodating and easy to work with. They are one of the few hotels on the Island that are dog friendly and will provide a backup incase of bad weather. Our coordinator Lindsey was absolutely amazing, she responded to emails quickly which made it easy planning for a Mackinac Island wedding in Detroit. She worked with my husband and I to even accommodate our dog that was in our wedding. All the staff was absolutely amazing Lindsey to the wait staff and bartenders. Don’t get me started on how amazing the food was and if you can go to the Mission Point wedding show like we did it helps with the rest of the vendors you may need for your special day let alone to sample the food Mission Point has to offer. I would recommend Mission Point for not only a wedding but any event.

Mackinac Island has always been my families favorite vacation spot, we routinely visit the island multiple times per year. My husband and I got engaged at Arch Rock and it was only fitting to be married on the island as well. We didn’t even look at other venues, always knew it would be Mission Point. We had a perfect wedding week on the island and have nothing but amazing things to say about Lindsey, the mission point staff, and our entire wedding planning experience. We live 4.5 hours away from the island, visited the venue 2 times during planning, otherwise communicated via email, and it was so unbelievably easy to plan, everything was exactly as I had pictured in my head. I was also amazed at how seamlessly the staff made the ceremony venue switch due to rain, I was very nervous about the weather but the promenade deck with tent and lights was so gorgeous! We were also amazed at how easy it was to send all of the wedding items to mission point from the ferry and we never had to worry about them again, even after the reception ended we never lifted a finger and everything was sent right back over to the mainland! Lindsey Marks was absolutely amazing to work with! I would recommend Mission Point to anyone wanting to get married on Mackinac Island, you will not be disappointed. 😊

It rained right before we were starting our ceremony and they moved everything to the gazebo for us last minute just to make us happy. Everything turned out great and all our guests had an amazing time. So beautiful!!

Mission Point Resort went above and beyond to make our wedding day exactly how we wanted it to be. They worked well with our outside vendors and got everything set up perfectly. Their staff was there will the answers to all questions we had. They truly made it feel like we were their top priority, even when there were several weddings happening that day at Mission Point. I would recommend Mission Point Resort to anyone. We had our ceremony at the Gazebo and our reception in Cypress Room (all their other reception locations were amazing as well!).

My experience with getting married at Mission Point was absolutely perfect. Everybody there made planning a wedding so easy. Our day flew by and was absolutely seamless from beginning to end. The staff at Mission Point was very professional, very helpful, and so easy to work with. They thought of every detail! Including making sure my husband and I got a plate of appetizers to try because we didn't have a chance during the cocktail hour. We are also still getting comments on how amazing the food was. I would highly recommend Mission Point to anybody!

Mission Point was awesome. We had our wedding in the Cypress Room on June 23. Rylin helped us throughout the process, and she was great. She helped set things up the morning of, and she dealt with all my bridal freak outs such as extra guests. She set up the room beautifully and efficiently. Rylin kept me sane on an insane morning. Rylin had so much information during planning, and helped us make the most efficient use of our food and drink minimum. The food and drinks were delicious, and the setting was surreal. The Cypress Room has a large outdoor area as well, which was great. People could dance and party but also slip away and sit in the rocking chairs and talk. The only complaint we had was that the servers were too efficient. We had wedding cake sitting by our name cards (as the bridge and groom) and the servers cleared it before we were able to try our own cake! This is a small complaint though, considering how great everything else was. Mission Point would have had a 100% score if I was able to eat my cake, now they have to deal with a 99%.

As soon as we got engaged, we knew we wanted to get married on Mackinac Island but didn't know which venue. Mission Point stood out for our event right away for many reasons. They are so many different spaces to work with. We hosted a rehearsal dinner (in the Summit Room), Welcome Reception (in the Summit Room), Ceremony (at the Gazebo) and Reception (in the Cypress Room using the wrap around porch) - all were amazing! The resort is impressive while still having a relaxed atmosphere so our friends and family could celebrate with us but still feel like they're on vacation. Everyone loved the resort. The staff is always helpful! We worked with Rylin as our day to day and she was wonderful always doing everything she could to help. During the weekend, each and every staff member worked to make us feel special and celebrated. I would definitely recommend Mission Point to anyone looking to have a completely unique and memorable wedding!!

Mission Point is AMAZING! We had our reception in the Cypress Room and it was everything and more than we expected! From the start MP was very helpful in planning, we worked with Katie and then very closely with Rylin as we got closer to our big day. She made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed, everything. She got us booked at the salon, set up our tasting, gave us multiple tours, helped with day of set-up and was available pretty much non-stop from start to finish. Rylin promptly answered e-mails and phone calls and tended to what seemed like never ending requests even when we arrived for the weekend. The venue itself is simply breathtaking. The Cypress Room with the big porch overlooking the lake is the most beautiful and picturesque reception setting. The room is so beautiful that we used minimal decorations and it still looked elegant. The room does not have a/c so it did get a bit warm but having the entire patio allowed guests to step out and cool off and enjoy a lake breeze. I cannot say enough good things about Mission Point! The staff, including the servers and bartenders, are there to make sure your day is truly perfect. We even got to know several staff members over the course of the week, but Lionel and Shequiera take the cake. They were phenomenal in helping guests and answering questions. 3 months later and guests are still raving about our wedding and we wish we could do it all over again! I can't wait to come back to Mission Point for many anniversaries to come!

Beautiful place! Every person just raved about the setting and the Cypress room! I really liked that Mission Point gives you a personal wedding manager that helps you throughout your whole planning process. Lindsey was very patient, professional, kind, and helpful! She was there the whole wedding day doing a million little things to make the day go smoothly. I was really happy with my hair and makeup at the Lakeside Salon at Mission Point too. Overall, I couldn't have been happier and I think the value is very good for the location.

We had the gazebo ceremony location. It was gorgeous by the lake; wonderful for pictures and of course a great afternoon with our families and friends.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, thanks to Mission Point! Our guests told us on the day and have kept telling us since, it was the nicest wedding they have ever been to! Mission Point's wedding coordinators are amazing, and were an integral part of my wedding planning process. They guided me through every step of the details, and never tired of answering all of my questions. We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception with Mission Point, and both were seamless. Everything went perfectly. Even when it rained the evening of our rehearsal dinner, they moved us inside with no problem. We had our reception in the Cypress room, and the views of the lake from the deck were absolutely stunning. The lights strung over the dance floor, the linens they rented for us, they way our decorations were placed, every detail was absolutely perfect. Their staff is second to none. During the summer months, they host weddings and receptions every weekend, so they are more than up to the task. On top of that, everyone on their staff is friendly and dedicated to excellent customer service. Could not ask for a more perfect wedding location!

We had an amazing wedding reception at Mission Point! Overall the service was excellent, Arcadia our main contact was wonderful and helped us in every way she could. We had a few mishaps but she fixed any and all concerns as quickly as she possibly could. The day could not have been more beautiful and I there is nothing I would change if I could! The food was delicious. We spent the wedding weekend in the Tranquility suite and highly recommend it for its spectacular view, sitting room, and over all large quantity of space. I highly recommend having a wedding reception at the Mission Point resort if you are looking to get married on the island.

When the forecast called for rain during our previously scheduled outdoor rehearsal dinner, the entire event was moved indoors without a hitch and was even better than the originally planned venue! If you are thinking about getting married on Mackinac Island, Mission Point is the place to do it!
