pful from our initial inquiry through the big day. Planning went smoothly. Food was excellent (it's so hard to have 200+ meals come out hot and tasty, but the MAC was able to do just that). The venue is beautiful and elegant. The dance floor is a generous but comfortable size. Our guests really enjoyed the MAC-owned photo booth. So convenient! Overall, the MAC was a very good value! Highly recommend!

The venue staff were positive, energetic, and so much fun. They really made sure every guest felt important and I don’t think I would ever be able to thank them enough for everything they did. ng the reception was one the best, if not the best ever wedding experience! The process from beginning to end were way above and beyond expectations! Courtney and other Missouri Athletic staff members made the process so easy in the months of planning. We cannot thank them enough! The decorations for Christmas were beautiful, plus created an elegant setting for the occasion. Many guests took advantage by taking plenty of pictures as family and/or friends. We know those memories will last forever! The food and drink was both delicious and abundant! All guests always had a drink in hand, plus during dinner with waited service. The dinner was perfectly prepared and served. Decisions were tough with so many delicious options, but could not be more pleased with the strip steak, potato pancake and roasted carrots. Also, guests that needed a dietary alternative were equally pleased. We knew we could rely on the Missouri Athletic Cub to give us the special day we wanted, and they did not disappoint! Truly a five star experience! We highly recommend the same for any other couple to celebrate their day!

Her attention to detail, well lined out contracts, and guidance were spot on. Fast forward to the Thursday before the wedding. We were dropping things off for set up, and in coming in the back, we ran into many people who were diligently doing their job. EVERY single person stood up, moved out of the way and asked if there was anything they could do to help. Their cleaning was meticulous – I watched several dusting or vacuuming spaces that would be ignored in most other facilities. My husband and I got to the MAC a bit before start time on Saturday. When we got upstairs, the attention to detail was evident. Pictures were where we had requested, the ballroom looked amazing, and Courtney was sitting on the floor in front of the head table steaming the wrinkles out of the tablecloth. Unreal. The service from beginning to end was perfection. And the food was simply delicious. Dinner was served on time and each meal was hot (not usual for weddings) and even our friends who hardly eat said they licked their plates clean. The servers were kind and attentive, and my daughter (the bride) said their server was simply the best. Appetizers were at their spots and she made sure they had whatever they needed. There were a couple of mishaps on the dance floor, and no worker ever acted like a clean up was a burden. In addition, there was a server who was our age – 58 I believe. Our daughter and her new husband danced to the same song we did when our reception was there in 1992! This server told us that he served our wedding and remembered after they had the same first dance. He was warm and kind and it was such an added bonus!! Lastly, we moved to the Jack Buck grill after the reception. Quite a few people went, and it was a bit chaotic. Again, the manager and the bartenders were accommodating, efficient, but most importantly kind. I cannot think of one thing we would have done differently and I cannot think of one thing that could have been done better! The next morning we went to finish cleaning out our things. There was a group of men working on the lobby decorations. I asked if they had anything that I could use to cut the garland ties from the banister. Of course, the employee said, I will cut it and get rid of it for you. Then another worker came over to ask me how the night was, and that is when I cried. Our daughter and new husband (and everyone, actually) had the night of their dreams. You simply can’t ask for more. So thank you for leading a team that went above and beyond to create that atmosphere from the beginning to the end.

Additionally, the Missouri Ballroom was such a beautiful space and was perfect for the large number of guests we had in attendance. We also hosted events (Welcome Party and Farewell Brunch) in the Jack Buck Grille, which was a great space for festivities too. We got a ton of positive feedback from our guests throughout the weekend and truly could not have imagined our wedding taking place anywhere else!

! Everything was lovely. Courtney made us feel comfortable and confident in choosing the MAC for our reception at the first meeting. The cocktail hour was in the art lounge and our reception of 250 was in the Missouri ballroom. They were very flexible with us curating the menu. My biggest advice is to ask for whatever it is you’re curious about or wanting. Chances are, the MAC can make it happen and you don’t want any regrets after the fact! The venue sets the scene, and the staff make it happen. Thank you, Courtney and all of the MAC staff, who made our wedding day our favorite day ever.

munication was great.. always following up super fast. Every time I had a question or wanted something her immediate reaction was an enthusiastic yes! Not once did she have make me feel like anything was a big deal. The day of went just perfectly… she executed everything my daughter wanted to a tee! Our guests were mind blown by how attentive and awesome all the staff were, including bartenders, servers etc…I know many venues are having staffing problems but not the MAC. We even added extra bars and all were staffed perfectly. And the food! The lobster tail and filet were better than most steak houses. Just superb. A big Bravo! To the MAC. You made my daughters wedding the best day of her life and for that I cannot thank you enough .🥂

king with Courtney was a dream come true. She is the most patient and responsive wedding coordinator you could ask for. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and was extremely detail oriented. The MAC was perfect for my guests because they were able to check into their rooms during the gap between our ceremony and reception, and then stay overnight at the MAC after the reception. They also have their parking garage for secure overnight parking. The MAC is very convenient to book with because they already have tables, chairs, linens, food, and cake provided for you. They also have a shuttle available for rent that we used to take us to the church after getting ready in the morning. Not to mention the cutest room ever for getting your makeup done in. Then after our reception we were able to have an after party in the cigar lounge which was one of my favorite parts of the evening. It allowed my husband and I to get the chance to speak to our guests, and see our out of town guests before they left the following day. Furthermore, the MAC staff is impeccable. The front desk staff, waiters, and bartenders were so helpful and kind. We couldn’t have asked for better people to work with. Thank you again MAC!

would highly recommend it to anyone getting married in St. Louis. Courtney is an incredible professional and every member of the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. We had staff help us bring decor in, a warm welcome at the front desk for our families checking into the hotel, and above and beyond service. Staff members remembered my parents and would stop everything to help them, including even greeting my father upon check-in as the Father of the Bride. The MAC not only functioned as our ceremony/cocktail with flip/reception space, but it also offered us a ton of resources that we didn't have to go to an outside vendor for, which minimized stress and challenges when we moved our date from 2020 to 2021, which the MAC did at no charge and no hassle, with the utmost grace. The wedding packages include a gorgeous cake, linens, uplighting day-of coordination, bar, catering, a shuttle for day-of, parking in their parking garage, and some hotel rooms. They also coordinated Chivari rental, stage installation for our band, and AV for our ceremony at a great price point and with zero stress. Since we had a wedding with many guests from out of town, we utilized the MAC as a hotel block and held our rehearsal at the MAC, and coordinated the MAC shuttle to our rehearsal dinner for guests staying there. My husband and his friends used the many athletic facilities that weekend and loved getting ready in the Billards Room on the day of the wedding. The bridal suite in the MAC had enough room for photographer, videographer, four MUAs/hair stylists, two moms, bride, and 7 bridesmaids comfortably, and we were thrilled to have everyone onsite to make things easy and fun. We even coordinated day-of wedding party lunch service through the MAC and it was so easy. The MAC is also stunning. The chandeliers, the surfaces, the mirrored walls, and the historic and well-kept spaces allow you to keep decor to flowers and candles. The rest is the grandeur of the MAC. Friends could not stop commenting on how gorgeous the space was and its similarities to The Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C., and other luxurious, historical ballrooms. The only drawback could be that there is not an indoor/outdoor space. It is indoor only. This should be considered if that is important to you or with COVID-19 precautions. However, the space is huge with high ceilings and affords lots of soft seating throughout the club for guests to have conversations and enjoy quieter moments/more distance if they wanted to. We had 150 guests and the Missouri Ballroom felt full of guests and energetic, with lots of room for people to spread out. Again, I cannot recommend this venue for a full-service, easy, fun place to have an epic party and an amazing wedding. We loved it so much and will never forget the hospitality, top-notch service, attention to detail, and FUN of the MAC! They made our wedding incredible.

She responded to my emails and calls within a matter of moments, she provided wonderful suggestions, and truly helped make our wedding perfect. Special thanks to Kate Hunter. The dinner service went so smoothly and the food was so delicious. We received compliments throughout the night from our guests that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. The wait staff were so courteous and helpful at any request they received. The bartenders were amazing, drinks were delicious and made sure the lines didn't get too long. The all-inclusive wedding package was a lifesaver for us... from the table numbers to the uplighting-- it made our planning much less stressful! The best night ever, and we owe it to Missouri Athletic Club staff!

They were so flexible and made it so easy to create our dream mini-reception this year and reschedule our big reception to next year. We received so many compliments from both local and out of town guests about how much they enjoyed the food, service, and aesthetic of the MAC (many people said it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had!). We truly cannot imagine having a wedding reception anywhere else in the St. Louis area – thank you MAC!

food in house and it is delicious. Our guests were telling us it was some of the best food they had ever eaten. They were extremely accomodating, especially during this COVID season we live in. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. If you have your wedding anywhere other than the MAC you are missing out!

that ticked those boxes. Our ceremony felt like a ceremony in the ballroom, and then felt like a totally different space for the reception once they "flipped it". Stephanie is a true professional and is willing to go above and beyond and Jeoffrey is the BEST. I heard his voice, and knew everything was going to run smoothly for dinner service. From the tasting, to cocktail hour, to the cake, to dinner service everything was first class. My parents hosted the wedding -- and the whole team at the MAC made them feel like VIP's. SO MUCH is included in their wedding packages -- champagne toast, cocktail hour, your CAKE. You don't feel like you are getting "nickled and dimed" for every little thing and you DON'T have to be a member to have your wedding there. Getting dressed in the pink room with my girls was magical and the photos are GORGEOUS. The staircase is DRAMA and we have the best photos there -- plus under the marquee of course!! You don't need to spend a fortune on decor because the ballroom is just breathtaking as it is with the chandeliers - it feels like Belle's Ballroom. Also, my band LOVED playing the ballroom. It's set up perfectly for a live band and from what I understand it is a favorite venue for most local StL bands. The MAC is a timeless venue that was magical for our wedding. We are so very grateful for the whole MAC team and wholeheartedly recommend them to brides & grooms who are looking for a classic & gorgeous wedding venue.

Terri Lee the wedding coordinator and many others from the Missouri Athletic Club were outstanding to communicate/ work with. Very patient and understanding. They got whatever we needed to be done, DONE :) and made our reception a dream come true! THE MISSOURI ATHLETIC CLUB IS THE BEST VENUE THERE IS!! Everyone at the Missouri Athletic Club ( MAC ) was very welcoming, helpful, happy, and up beat our whole entire wedding reception. The guest from our wedding have not stop talking about the reception held at the MAC and how beautiful the place is and how wonderful the people were!! We can't thank them enough for all the class they brought to the reception and all the endless fun! What they did to make our day so perfect for us was unforgetable. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a gorgeous romantic feel of a Venue for their reception. dvocate, it was critical to me that I have locally sourced, environmentally responsible food at my wedding reception. Chef Bart and Linda had never worked with local farmers at the MAC but they were willing to work with me to make it happen! And it was a huge success, I had several people approach me or contact me after the wedding to say the food was some of the best they'd ever had. On top of all of that, the cake and transportation between the ceremony and the reception are included in the wedding package - which makes wedding planning so much easier! The ballroom was set up just as we discussed and looked beautiful. The MAC staff that worked the event were an absolute delight! I highly recommend!

to worry about anything. Working with Linda over the last 10 months to "iron out" all of the details was a joy; she was always available to answer questions and I always felt comfortable with her. My bridesmaids and I got ready in the Pink Room the morning of the wedding, which was very spacious and pretty. I also had my ceremony in the ballroom, and it was a very smooth transition from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception. The servers were professional and courteous throughout the entire evening. I am very happy that I chose to have my wedding at the MAC. I wouldn't have changed anything! Thank you!

service were fantastic! The only issue I had is that the event coordinators are very busy, and my emails to them may have gotten overlooked or not responded to quickly. I had to send follow up emails on multiple occasions to get my questions answered. Overall, I highly recommend!

bout our wedding and how it was so elegant and fun. The staff was so accommodating. We had a few concerns initially after the first tasting, but the team listened and recovered 200%! We ended up serving a surf and turf with scallops and fillet mignon and the meat was so tender people were saying you could cut it with a fork. The scallops were large and succulent. We had the venue do our cake as well in house, and I've never tasted a wedding cake that I wanted to eat another piece of before this one! The chef outdid himself! The aesthetics of the venue were perfection as well. The event was so elegant and the room and lighting complimented the flowers and all the other rentals. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you to Linda and the MAC team!

T!! Linda Soncasie was our gal in charge and from the get go ...to the grand finish...she was on top of it all and worked sooooo hard to make it the best day ever!!! She saw to every detail, stayed so late the day before the wedding to help us with things that had come up with the wedding (helped solve glitches that had arisen with our luncheon that was not even affiliated with the MAC). She was also there working tirelessly the day of the wedding, setting up things to make sure they were just how we wanted them....and I watched her oversee the reception and staff, late into the evening!! How do we put this all in one paragraph!! Maybe the best way to review is to include a quote from one of our guests, (who by the way is a caterer!!!) " This was the BEST wedding I have ever attended....even better than my own daughter's...the attention to detail, the FOOD...BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD, the cake was second to none, friendly staff, so welcoming, beautiful venue, we danced ALL night...and it was just downright FUN!" We are so, so glad that we booked the MAC and the memories will keep us smiling....FOREVER!!!
