The wedding reception could not have gone better, and we still keep talking about the experience! Our guests also keep raving about their great time (to our delight) with many saying the reception was one the best, if not the best ever wedding experience! The process from beginning to end were way above and beyond expectations! Courtney and other Missouri Athletic staff members made the process so easy in the months of planning. We cannot thank them enough! The decorations for Christmas were beautiful, plus created an elegant setting for the occasion. Many guests took advantage by taking plenty of pictures as family and/or friends. We know those memories will last forever! The food and drink was both delicious and abundant! All guests always had a drink in hand, plus during dinner with waited service. The dinner was perfectly prepared and served. Decisions were tough with so many delicious options, but could not be more pleased with the strip steak, potato pancake and roasted carrots. Also, guests that needed a dietary alternative were equally pleased. We knew we could rely on the Missouri Athletic Cub to give us the special day we wanted, and they did not disappoint! Truly a five star experience! We highly recommend the same for any other couple to celebrate their day!

Everyone said this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. They said the staff was amazing and everything with so smoothly.

We had our Daughter’s wedding reception at the MAC and it exceeded our expectations on every level. We will start with the planning process – Courtney made it an absolute breeze. Her attention to detail, well lined out contracts, and guidance were spot on. Fast forward to the Thursday before the wedding. We were dropping things off for set up, and in coming in the back, we ran into many people who were diligently doing their job. EVERY single person stood up, moved out of the way and asked if there was anything they could do to help. Their cleaning was meticulous – I watched several dusting or vacuuming spaces that would be ignored in most other facilities. My husband and I got to the MAC a bit before start time on Saturday. When we got upstairs, the attention to detail was evident. Pictures were where we had requested, the ballroom looked amazing, and Courtney was sitting on the floor in front of the head table steaming the wrinkles out of the tablecloth. Unreal. The service from beginning to end was perfection. And the food was simply delicious. Dinner was served on time and each meal was hot (not usual for weddings) and even our friends who hardly eat said they licked their plates clean. The servers were kind and attentive, and my daughter (the bride) said their server was simply the best. Appetizers were at their spots and she made sure they had whatever they needed. There were a couple of mishaps on the dance floor, and no worker ever acted like a clean up was a burden. In addition, there was a server who was our age – 58 I believe. Our daughter and her new husband danced to the same song we did when our reception was there in 1992! This server told us that he served our wedding and remembered after they had the same first dance. He was warm and kind and it was such an added bonus!! Lastly, we moved to the Jack Buck grill after the reception. Quite a few people went, and it was a bit chaotic. Again, the manager and the bartenders were accommodating, efficient, but most importantly kind. I cannot think of one thing we would have done differently and I cannot think of one thing that could have been done better! The next morning we went to finish cleaning out our things. There was a group of men working on the lobby decorations. I asked if they had anything that I could use to cut the garland ties from the banister. Of course, the employee said, I will cut it and get rid of it for you. Then another worker came over to ask me how the night was, and that is when I cried. Our daughter and new husband (and everyone, actually) had the night of their dreams. You simply can’t ask for more. So thank you for leading a team that went above and beyond to create that atmosphere from the beginning to the end.

We had our wedding on 11/11 and it was PERFECT. Courtney was always there to answer my millions of questions and make sure everything was flawless. We loved working with her and she did such an outstanding job. The food was incredible as well, we are still hearing about it LOL. The team here is just so well versed, efficient, kind and really want you to have the best day ever and they did exactly that. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Best day ever!

The MAC was the perfect place to host our wedding reception. Courtney and the MAC staff were INCREDIBLE! They were helpful and extremely accommodating every second along the way during the planning process and on the day of. We truly could not have done it without their expertise and talent and are so thankful to have worked with such a passionate team. Additionally, the Missouri Ballroom was such a beautiful space and was perfect for the large number of guests we had in attendance. We also hosted events (Welcome Party and Farewell Brunch) in the Jack Buck Grille, which was a great space for festivities too. We got a ton of positive feedback from our guests throughout the weekend and truly could not have imagined our wedding taking place anywhere else!

Can not say enough good things about our reception at the Missouri Athletic Club. The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious, the staff is very professional and kind, and Courtney their wedding coordinator is the best of the best! Having our wedding at the MAC was the best decision!

It was ABSOLUTLY flawless. Stunning and grand venue with every detail and request graciously attended to by the amazing staff. LOVED having one stop for everything: Catered lunch for bridal party, stunning first look photos, A Gatsby era ballroom , Jack Buck Grill afterparty along with a hotel and gym all in one historic location. The bride and groom rated the evening a 10!

Our wedding at the Missouri Athletic Club was AMAZING!!! Courtney and her team provided exceptional customer service and made sure we were informed every step of the way! We had several out of town guests who stayed in the club’s hotel as well! They had a lovely time. We couldn’t have asked for anything better on our special day.

The MAC wedding reception for my daughter and her husband on October 1, 2022 was fantastic. Courtney, events manager, and the MAC staff were so kind and helpful throughout the evening. The MAC was very open to working with our wedding planner, florist etc and allowing them to adapt the ballroom for the event, bring in a New Orleans style busker band to lead the guests in to dinner and so on. Our family and friends had a wonderful time celebrating. Thank you MAC.

The MAC was the absolute perfect wedding reception venue for us. My husband proposed on the rooftop at the downtown clubhouse, and we had our reception there just over a year later! Everything was lovely. Courtney made us feel comfortable and confident in choosing the MAC for our reception at the first meeting. The cocktail hour was in the art lounge and our reception of 250 was in the Missouri ballroom. They were very flexible with us curating the menu. My biggest advice is to ask for whatever it is you’re curious about or wanting. Chances are, the MAC can make it happen and you don’t want any regrets after the fact! The venue sets the scene, and the staff make it happen. Thank you, Courtney and all of the MAC staff, who made our wedding day our favorite day ever.

The MAC was the perfect venue all around!! The staff were great and our wedding coordinator responded quickly and made everything we dreamed of happen! The MAC has everything you need including tables, chairs, dinnerware, linens, votives for decor, a picture wall, food, beverages and even cake!! It’s a one stop shop and let’s not forget about how beautiful it is!! Also, the staff served the food quickly and the compliments from guests were endless.

The MAC was the perfect venue for our wedding! Not only is the space gorgeous, but the staff are top notch. Courtney, the event coordinator, was extremely easy to work with and responded promptly to all of my emails. She was thoughtful, kind, and very organized throughout the process!

As a sister of the groom, I have never been more disrespected by a banquet/event manager in my life. During the father of the bride speech, all of the staff was talking, stacking plates (so loud) and creating a very distracting scene. When I asked them to keep it down, their response was extremely unkind. The manager, Courtney, came over to me to scold me (during the father of the bride speech) and created a hostile environment. I am so disappointed in this venue but especially the head table serving staff and the manager, Courtney. BE AWARE BEFORE YOU BOOK!

My daughters wedding was 12/31/21.. A New Years Eve bash! I cannot put in to words how wonderful it was! From day one Courtney, the wedding coordinator, was just fabulous! Her communication was great.. always following up super fast. Every time I had a question or wanted something her immediate reaction was an enthusiastic yes! Not once did she have make me feel like anything was a big deal. The day of went just perfectly… she executed everything my daughter wanted to a tee! Our guests were mind blown by how attentive and awesome all the staff were, including bartenders, servers etc…I know many venues are having staffing problems but not the MAC. We even added extra bars and all were staffed perfectly. And the food! The lobster tail and filet were better than most steak houses. Just superb. A big Bravo! To the MAC. You made my daughters wedding the best day of her life and for that I cannot thank you enough .🥂

I truly cannot say enough good things about the MAC. This is every brides dream wedding venue. The ballroom is absolutely stunning and the most beautiful in the St. Louis area. Working with Courtney was a dream come true. She is the most patient and responsive wedding coordinator you could ask for. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and was extremely detail oriented. The MAC was perfect for my guests because they were able to check into their rooms during the gap between our ceremony and reception, and then stay overnight at the MAC after the reception. They also have their parking garage for secure overnight parking. The MAC is very convenient to book with because they already have tables, chairs, linens, food, and cake provided for you. They also have a shuttle available for rent that we used to take us to the church after getting ready in the morning. Not to mention the cutest room ever for getting your makeup done in. Then after our reception we were able to have an after party in the cigar lounge which was one of my favorite parts of the evening. It allowed my husband and I to get the chance to speak to our guests, and see our out of town guests before they left the following day. Furthermore, the MAC staff is impeccable. The front desk staff, waiters, and bartenders were so helpful and kind. We couldn’t have asked for better people to work with. Thank you again MAC!

There could absolutely be no better place to have a wedding. First, the food was simply outstanding - we could not have gotten better at a top end steak house. Secondly, the communication and help from the staff was amazing - very responsive and helpful through the whole process. Third, you cannot beat the dance floor and finally the organization of everything on the day of was the best.

We had our wedding reception at in the ballroom at the Missouri Athletic Club. It was beautiful and Courtney was incredibly helpful. She made sure everything was running smoothly and the day was a breeze. The entire staff was supportive and made our day feel really special.

Professional in every way with gorgeous spaces that made us, our families, and our guests feel incredibly special. We absolutely loved working with the Missouri Athletic Club and I would highly recommend it to anyone getting married in St. Louis. Courtney is an incredible professional and every member of the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. We had staff help us bring decor in, a warm welcome at the front desk for our families checking into the hotel, and above and beyond service. Staff members remembered my parents and would stop everything to help them, including even greeting my father upon check-in as the Father of the Bride. The MAC not only functioned as our ceremony/cocktail with flip/reception space, but it also offered us a ton of resources that we didn't have to go to an outside vendor for, which minimized stress and challenges when we moved our date from 2020 to 2021, which the MAC did at no charge and no hassle, with the utmost grace. The wedding packages include a gorgeous cake, linens, uplighting day-of coordination, bar, catering, a shuttle for day-of, parking in their parking garage, and some hotel rooms. They also coordinated Chivari rental, stage installation for our band, and AV for our ceremony at a great price point and with zero stress. Since we had a wedding with many guests from out of town, we utilized the MAC as a hotel block and held our rehearsal at the MAC, and coordinated the MAC shuttle to our rehearsal dinner for guests staying there. My husband and his friends used the many athletic facilities that weekend and loved getting ready in the Billards Room on the day of the wedding. The bridal suite in the MAC had enough room for photographer, videographer, four MUAs/hair stylists, two moms, bride, and 7 bridesmaids comfortably, and we were thrilled to have everyone onsite to make things easy and fun. We even coordinated day-of wedding party lunch service through the MAC and it was so easy. The MAC is also stunning. The chandeliers, the surfaces, the mirrored walls, and the historic and well-kept spaces allow you to keep decor to flowers and candles. The rest is the grandeur of the MAC. Friends could not stop commenting on how gorgeous the space was and its similarities to The Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C., and other luxurious, historical ballrooms. The only drawback could be that there is not an indoor/outdoor space. It is indoor only. This should be considered if that is important to you or with COVID-19 precautions. However, the space is huge with high ceilings and affords lots of soft seating throughout the club for guests to have conversations and enjoy quieter moments/more distance if they wanted to. We had 150 guests and the Missouri Ballroom felt full of guests and energetic, with lots of room for people to spread out. Again, I cannot recommend this venue for a full-service, easy, fun place to have an epic party and an amazing wedding. We loved it so much and will never forget the hospitality, top-notch service, attention to detail, and FUN of the MAC! They made our wedding incredible.

I wish everyone could have their wedding at the MAC. Not only is the ballroom gorgeous, but our day was flawless, start to finish. The staff at the MAC were fantastic. The service was amazing and the food was impeccable!! Special shout out to my girl Courtney Hake! She truly made the wedding planning process seamless. She responded to my emails and calls within a matter of moments, she provided wonderful suggestions, and truly helped make our wedding perfect. Special thanks to Kate Hunter. She was SO helpful when we postponed our wedding due to Covid and extremely responsive as well. Another shout out to the bar tender, Scott! He is so much fun!! Have your wedding at the MAC !!!!!

We always envisioned our reception in a ballroom with beautiful chandeliers and high ceilings. Missouri Athletic Club not only met our expectations but went above and beyond! I would recommend them over and over again. Courtney, our wedding planner at MAC, made sure the evening went without a hitch and that everything was so organized and timed perfectly. The dinner service went so smoothly and the food was so delicious. We received compliments throughout the night from our guests that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. The wait staff were so courteous and helpful at any request they received. The bartenders were amazing, drinks were delicious and made sure the lines didn't get too long. The all-inclusive wedding package was a lifesaver for us... from the table numbers to the uplighting-- it made our planning much less stressful! The best night ever, and we owe it to Missouri Athletic Club staff!

I had such a wonderful experience having my wedding reception at the MAC. Barb, Kate, and Courtney were all fantastic to work with. They were easy to get in touch with, had a lot of great ideas, and were so helpful when we had to make a lot of changes due to Covid. They were so flexible and made it so easy to create our dream mini-reception this year and reschedule our big reception to next year. The food was delicious and they did a great job with the room decorations. I would highly recommend the MAC!

Best wedding reception venue! Gorgeous ballroom, amazing food, delicious cake (which is included in the wedding package!), and Barb was the best wedding coordinator who also seemed like our wedding planner! Barb was so helpful. She always guided us the whole way and whenever we asked her questions she replied very quickly. My husband, family, friends, and I were very impressed by the MAC! Highly recommend the MAC for a wedding reception!

We cannot speak highly enough about Barb and the entire MAC staff who helped make our dream wedding come true despite the evolving COVID-19 situation. The MAC staff went above and beyond to make my husband, myself, and our guests feel safe while also allowing us to enjoy our special day. On the night of our reception, the space was even more breathtaking than imagined. We received so many compliments from both local and out of town guests about how much they enjoyed the food, service, and aesthetic of the MAC (many people said it’s the best wedding food they’ve ever had!). We truly cannot imagine having a wedding reception anywhere else in the St. Louis area – thank you MAC!

We absolutely loved our reception at the MAC. When looking for a venue, we wanted an elegant classic space with a large dance floor and the MAC was perfect! They make all of their food in house and it is delicious. Our guests were telling us it was some of the best food they had ever eaten. They were extremely accomodating, especially during this COVID season we live in. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. If you have your wedding anywhere other than the MAC you are missing out!

We loved, loved, loved having our wedding ceremony & reception at the MAC. We wanted a timeless and classic wedding, and in St. Louis, the MAC was the BEST place to have a wedding that ticked those boxes. Our ceremony felt like a ceremony in the ballroom, and then felt like a totally different space for the reception once they "flipped it". Stephanie is a true professional and is willing to go above and beyond and Jeoffrey is the BEST. I heard his voice, and knew everything was going to run smoothly for dinner service. From the tasting, to cocktail hour, to the cake, to dinner service everything was first class. My parents hosted the wedding -- and the whole team at the MAC made them feel like VIP's. SO MUCH is included in their wedding packages -- champagne toast, cocktail hour, your CAKE. You don't feel like you are getting "nickled and dimed" for every little thing and you DON'T have to be a member to have your wedding there. Getting dressed in the pink room with my girls was magical and the photos are GORGEOUS. The staircase is DRAMA and we have the best photos there -- plus under the marquee of course!! You don't need to spend a fortune on decor because the ballroom is just breathtaking as it is with the chandeliers - it feels like Belle's Ballroom. Also, my band LOVED playing the ballroom. It's set up perfectly for a live band and from what I understand it is a favorite venue for most local StL bands. The MAC is a timeless venue that was magical for our wedding. We are so very grateful for the whole MAC team and wholeheartedly recommend them to brides & grooms who are looking for a classic & gorgeous wedding venue.

My husband and I got married this past June and working with the Missouri Athletic Club on our big day to take care of us was truly amazing! We can't thank them enough for being so easy going and willing to do whatever was needed to make our day so special for us. Terri Lee the wedding coordinator and many others from the Missouri Athletic Club were outstanding to communicate/ work with. Very patient and understanding. They got whatever we needed to be done, DONE :) and made our reception a dream come true! THE MISSOURI ATHLETIC CLUB IS THE BEST VENUE THERE IS!! Everyone at the Missouri Athletic Club ( MAC ) was very welcoming, helpful, happy, and up beat our whole entire wedding reception. The guest from our wedding have not stop talking about the reception held at the MAC and how beautiful the place is and how wonderful the people were!! We can't thank them enough for all the class they brought to the reception and all the endless fun! What they did to make our day so perfect for us was unforgetable. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a gorgeous romantic feel of a Venue for their reception. I loved my wedding here! I had the ceremony in the art room followed my cocktails in the Eades room and reception in the ball room. Terri was my coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful. She made sure everything was taken care of for my day! My wedding was a beautiful Christmas theme classy wedding. The service was great, the food was outstanding and my cake was gorgeous. Chef Bart Philipps and Director of Catering Linda Soncasie went above and beyond to provide the wedding reception of my dreams! As a local food and sustainable agriculture policy advocate, it was critical to me that I have locally sourced, environmentally responsible food at my wedding reception. Chef Bart and Linda had never worked with local farmers at the MAC but they were willing to work with me to make it happen! And it was a huge success, I had several people approach me or contact me after the wedding to say the food was some of the best they'd ever had. On top of all of that, the cake and transportation between the ceremony and the reception are included in the wedding package - which makes wedding planning so much easier! The ballroom was set up just as we discussed and looked beautiful. The MAC staff that worked the event were an absolute delight! I highly recommend!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at the MAC on 9-9-17 and everything was perfect! The ballroom was beautiful and Linda made sure that everything ran smoothly; I didn't have to worry about anything. Working with Linda over the last 10 months to "iron out" all of the details was a joy; she was always available to answer questions and I always felt comfortable with her. My bridesmaids and I got ready in the Pink Room the morning of the wedding, which was very spacious and pretty. I also had my ceremony in the ballroom, and it was a very smooth transition from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception. The servers were professional and courteous throughout the entire evening. I am very happy that I chose to have my wedding at the MAC. I wouldn't have changed anything! Thank you!

The venue was like no other. Real dance floor, beautiful ballroom, and the food and service was simply outstanding. Every one of our guests were floored by the beauty of the place. There were comments such as 'best wedding food ever', 'this is like a 5 star meal', 'can't beat this venue', etc. etc. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

We were so pleased with our reception at the MAC! The room turned out beautifully and the coordinator knew exactly how to make the evening go smoothly. The food and atmosphere, and service were fantastic! The only issue I had is that the event coordinators are very busy, and my emails to them may have gotten overlooked or not responded to quickly. I had to send follow up emails on multiple occasions to get my questions answered. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had our reception at the Missouri Athletic Club this past weekend. Everything was impeccable! The service is outstanding. Linda was our coordinator and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The waitstaff was amazing. The food and cake were fantastic. We had many people tell us it was the best reception they had ever attended. Many thanks to the MAC!

We had our wedding at the MAC the other weekend, and it exceeded all of my expectations. Not only is the venue itself absolutely breathtaking, but the service was everything that I could ask for. Terri is fabulous to work with. She made sure our day was absolutely perfect, and the MAC staff went over the top to make sure we were taken care of!

We had our wedding here on 7/23/16 and I am not lying when I say that people are still talking about it! Everything about our day at the MAC was perfect. It is a breathtaking venue and the MAC staff is excellent in every way. Terry took care of our every need and made sure all of my questions were answered (and there was alot of them)! The food is fabulous and my custom cake was stunning. My reception went off without a hitch and I would recommend the MAC to anyone!!

We absolutely loved having our ceremony and reception here! Linda was amazing and answered every question plus more we had. She was there the night before and the day of the wedding to ensure everything went according to plan - and it went off without a hitch! The wedding was gorgeous and our guests and is really enjoyed the evening here - wouldn't have had it any other way!

We were so happy with the Missouri Athletic Club for our reception. The food was delicious, the venue was gorgeous and the service was fabulous. People have not stopped talking about our wedding and how it was so elegant and fun. The staff was so accommodating. We had a few concerns initially after the first tasting, but the team listened and recovered 200%! We ended up serving a surf and turf with scallops and fillet mignon and the meat was so tender people were saying you could cut it with a fork. The scallops were large and succulent. We had the venue do our cake as well in house, and I've never tasted a wedding cake that I wanted to eat another piece of before this one! The chef outdid himself! The aesthetics of the venue were perfection as well. The event was so elegant and the room and lighting complimented the flowers and all the other rentals. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you to Linda and the MAC team!

The Missouri Athletic Club was the most AWESOME place to hold a wedding reception!!!!! We cannot say enough about the venue, the staff, the food, the hotel....EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! Linda Soncasie was our gal in charge and from the get go ...to the grand finish...she was on top of it all and worked sooooo hard to make it the best day ever!!! She saw to every detail, stayed so late the day before the wedding to help us with things that had come up with the wedding (helped solve glitches that had arisen with our luncheon that was not even affiliated with the MAC). She was also there working tirelessly the day of the wedding, setting up things to make sure they were just how we wanted them....and I watched her oversee the reception and staff, late into the evening!! How do we put this all in one paragraph!! Maybe the best way to review is to include a quote from one of our guests, (who by the way is a caterer!!!) " This was the BEST wedding I have ever attended....even better than my own daughter's...the attention to detail, the FOOD...BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD, the cake was second to none, friendly staff, so welcoming, beautiful venue, we danced ALL night...and it was just downright FUN!" We are so, so glad that we booked the MAC and the memories will keep us smiling....FOREVER!!!

My husband and I just celebrated our third anniversary, and we still look back on our wedding as the "best day ever." Much of that was due to the fact that the MAC staff made planning our reception a BREEZE. Linda was incredible to work with -- she had every detailed covered so we were able to relax and truly enjoy the day. There was truly not a single moment of stress. Not to mention, it was the best brunch we ever tasted...and the top layer of our wedding cake was still just as delicious when we un-thawed it and ate it on our first anniversary!

COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A MORE BEAUTIFUL WEDDING DAY!!!! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. THE MAC AND ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE INCREDIBLE. We worked closely with Terri, and she worked so hard to make everything that we wanted possible!!! It was beautiful and we are forever grateful and appreciative of such an amazing venue and the individuals who work there!!! Thanks again MAC you are AWESOME!

We LOVED having our wedding at the MAC! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food is fabulous, the attention to detail superb, and the prices not as bad as you would think. Linda is wonderful to work with, very organized and matter-of-fact. She has tons of experience and can help you bring your vision to life. We only have positive things to say and truly wish we could live our wedding day at the MAC over and over.

I feel in love with the MAC when I was looking at in online. The main ballroom is gorgeous and one of my favorite parts is that everything is included for one price; appetizers, bar, food, cake, glasses, silverware, china, etc. There were no surprise fees like "cake cutting" or "corkage" or clean up fees which was amazing! Linda was so easy to work with and dealt with me emailing and asking if I could stop by and look at something or show someone the rooms. All of the food was amazing, the drinks were great and the cake awesome! We had so many compliments from our guests both during and after our event. I wouldn't change anything.

I grew up in the Missouri Room, going to events such as the Easter Brunch, Mother's Day, Dad and Daughter Dance, etc. so deciding to have my wedding there was an easy one. I cannot express in enough words how amazing everything was. From the wedding coordinating to the food/drinks and overall, environment, it was a fairy tale. Linda and her team are incredible and I highly recommend the MAC to anyone who wants a classic, fun wedding that people will be talking about for years.

The MAC knows how to put on an event. The event was a five star event. Our day could not have been more perfect thanks to the MAC. Throughout the planning process, Linda, our wedding planner through the MAC made everything run smoothly which allowed us to be stress free. She was confident and had the answers to any question we had. The entire staff involved in the wedding: the servers, planners, bartenders, service desk, etc. provided five star service to our guests throughout the entire evening. We would highly recommend the MAC for any event, especially a wedding reception. If you choose the MAC you will not be disappointed! We are so grateful to them for making our day the best day of our lives :)

I cannot recommend the MAC highly enough! The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The majority of our wedding guests were from out of town so I wanted to find a venue that could accommodate both the ceremony and reception, as well as be accessible to hotels for those that would be without a car. The MAC delivered! Working with staff was fun and easy. They really take care of everything! The space looked gorgeous and all of our guests kept saying that each room was more gorgeous than the other. We had a few specific requests for how to set up the ceremony and they were incredibly accommodating. The food was delicious and hot when served and the staff were attentive and absolutely delightful. With catering being onsite, the tables, chairs, linens, and china being provided and the space being so beautiful to begin with, we really didn't need to do much or hire outside vendors. It made the planning so easy and the day of, I had no worries at all. It could not have been more perfect of a day. I highly recommend the MAC!

In June we had the pleasure of hosting our daughter's wedding reception at the MAC. We had a year long delightful experience from start to finish, working with Linda, our coordinator at the MAC. Her professionalism, expertise, guidance and sense of humor both represented the MAC well and assisted us in enjoying both the process of planning and the actual evening to the fullest. Here is a sampling of the comments we have received from our guests: "I have come to expect usual wedding food, but this food was exceptional, and the service was even better." "I asked our server for the alternate cake flavor while I was standing, visiting another table, and he set it by my place right away, knowing where I was seated without me telling him." "The steak melted in my mouth" - heard this from multiple guests. "I went to check on my son's meal when it was served (a meal prepared for a guest allergic to nuts and dairy) and Linda was already there, making sure everything was just right for him." "The chef made a special effort to provide the bride her own special salad since she could not enjoy the one served to the guests" (without us requesting) "The salmon was wonderful" "Where did you get the cake?- it was so good" (it was from the MAC) "The room was so beautiful" "Amazing that dinner for 225 was served, enjoyed, and cleared in one hour so that the dancing could begin." "The groom's family and friends are still talking about what amazing time they had in St. Louis at the fabulous MAC" As the parents of the bride, we were able to fully enjoy our evening, knowing that every detail was being handled by the gracious MAC staff. In our opinion, the MAC is the best place in St. Louis to host a wedding reception.

We got married at the Missouri Athletic Club this past July. The catering manager, Linda, was so wonderful to work with. She was on top of everything and had great suggestions. The entire staff made planning my wedding at the MAC so enjoyable and exciting. I had the cocktail hour downstairs in the Art Gallery and then the reception upstairs in the Ballroom. The night was very elegant and so beautiful! The food and cake was delicious and exactly how I wanted it. The Ballroom is gorgeous with the chandeliers, the windows, the mirrors, the balcony, and the overall character of the room makes the it just breathe taking. Most of my guests said it was by far the nicest wedding they have ever been to. Everything went just as planned and then some. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely chose the MAC again!!

We had our wedding at the MAC in June 2013. It was wonderful and the MAC could not have done a better job. Our family and friends are still talking about how great the reception was! We worked with Linda in catering, Terri in event planning, and Zach in room sales. From the beginning Terri, Linda, and Zach were there to answer all of our questions, make any changes, and handle special requests - all in a timely manner. From the food, cake, layout, hotel accommodations, and service - it was perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend the MAC.

It was a no-brainer to host our wedding reception here since my husband’s family had been members for over thirty years, however I would highly recommend it to any couple. Between the AMAZING STAFF, comfortable and clean guest rooms and stunning atmosphere, it exceeded all of our expectations. The Missouri Ballroom is such an elegant space on its own, we had to do very little to make it the destination for our dream wedding. While the appearance of the venue speaks for itself, I just want to reinforce again how wonderful the staff was. From Linda, our wedding coordinator, who made sure every last detail was covered, to the kitchen staff who prepared the delicious appetizers, dinner and wedding cake, to the service staff who helped us move our day-of hair and makeup session to the ladies lockeroom, everyone was extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. The MAC gets our highest praise and recommendation.

At first there was some confusion and misunderstandings, but you're going to have that while planning a wedding. When I stepped into the ballroom the night of my wedding, I literally gasped. Everything was gorgeous! The architecture and the chandeliers looked old-world and so romantic. The tables were all professionally set. I cannot say enough about the staff. From the coordinator to the serving staff- everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I loved this venue and wish I can do it again!

This place knows how to throw a big event. Everything was taken care of and I didn't know about any of the problems. Linda, the onsite coordinator, made it unnecessary to hire a wedding coordinator. She to took care of everything. She answered all my emails and questions in a timely manner. She organized all of my vendors before and day of. She was great. I had my ceremony here as well. It was in the same ballroom as my reception. We had a cocktail hour in between downstairs in the art gallery and they flipped the room, effortlessly. The meal was delicious, warm and served with white glove service. Everyone was friendly. I heard no one ever had to ask for more water or wine....it was already there. I highly recommend the Missouri Athletic Club for your wedding venue.

We had our reception at the MAC-downtown in July. It was so gorgeous! We worked with Linda, the catering manager who really knows her stuff! Every recommendation she makes is based upon experience rather than opinion. We stayed at the MAC the night before the wedding and all of our guests enjoyed being able to go their rooms after the reception was over.
